February’s theme is LAYERS. Unser Thema im Februar ist “LAYERS” (Veranstaltungssprache ist Deutsch).

Layers give our work a richer complexity and depth. Just like a collage is created by overlapping layers of found materials, we pile up experiences that form our beliefs and reactions. It is these layers that give life meaning. Barbara Ibo, our speaker this month, has layers upon layers. Join us to find out more about her and her upcycling work! This talk will be in German.

Unsere Speakerin im Februar ist Barbara Ibo von der Upcycling WERTstatt in Freiburg.

LAYERS bieten Komplexität und Tiefe und können kreativ neues Leben mit visueller Wirkung hervorbringen, was Barbara mit ihrem Upcycling sehr gut kann.

Barbara Ibo ist eine Mischung aus Potenzialentfaltungscoach, Werkstattpädagogin, Designerin und Visionärin. Sie passt in keine Schublade, und das ist gut so! In ihrem Talk erzählt sie über die vielfältigen Zusammenhänge, Beweggründe, Visionen sowie Herausforderungen ihrer Tätigkeit.

December's theme is CYCLE. Unser Thema im Dezember ist “CYCLE” (Vortragssprache ist Deutsch, Networkingsprache ist Englisch und Deutsch).

🚲 Unsere Speakerin im Dezember ist Carlotta Stark von der Mobilitätsmanagement der Freiburger Verkehrs AG / Frelo.

Bundesweit und darüber hinaus genießt Freiburg den Ruf einer besonders fahrradfreundlichen Stadt. Seit Jahren belegt sie im Fahrradklima-Test des Allgemeine Deutsche Fahrrad-Clubs (ADFC) stets einen der vordersten Plätze. Welche Maßnahmen führen dazu, dass Freiburg eine der fahrradfreundlichsten Städte in Deutschland ist und auch in Zukunft bleibt? Und welche Rolle spielt dabei das Fahrradvermietsystem Frelo? Dazu informieren in einem Impulsvortrag von der Stabstelle Mobilität der Stadt Freiburg und Carlotta Stark von der Freiburger Verkehrs AG (VAG).

👋 Außerdem haben wir uns für diese Veranstaltung etwas Besonderes einfallen lassen: Um alle CYCLES in Freiburg zu feiern, laden wir Organisationen ein, an einer Vorstellungsrunde teilzunehmen, bei der sie jeweils eine Minute Zeit haben, um zu erzählen, wie sie CYCLE machen. Join us for breakfast, networking, and a talk on Cycle, December 20th at 8am. The talk will be in German but breakfast and networking are always multilingual!
