A Marvel o primeiro trailer oficial de Eco, série spin-off de Gavião Arqueiro.

A série, que será a primeira a ser lançada completa pela Marvel Studios, fará parte do Marvel Spotlight. Segundo Brad Winterbaum, o chefe da divisão de streaming da Marvel Studios, o selo Marvel Spotlight será reservado para projetos com foco em personagens e enredos “mais fechados”. Ou seja, histórias que não precisem necessariamente de todo o contexto do MCU.

“Assim como os fãs de quadrinhos não precisavam ler Vingadores ou Quarteto Fantástico para curtir uma história em quadrinhos do Motoqueiro Fantasma na série Spotlight, nosso público não precisa ter visto outras séries da Marvel para entender o que está acontecendo na história de Maya [protagonista de Eco]”, disse Brad.

Além disso, produções sob o selo serão acompanhadas por uma música composta por Michael Giacchino, além da mudança na apresentação do clássico logo da Marvel.

Recentemente o produtor Sydney Freeland disse em entrevista que Maya não terá os mesmos poderes dos quadrinhos.

“Sim, o poder dela nos quadrinhos é que ela pode copiar qualquer coisa, qualquer movimento. É um pouco cafona, vou dizer que esse não é o poder dela [na série] e vou parar por aí”, disse Sydney.

Confira a sinopse da produção:

“Marvel Studios apresenta Eco, na qual Maya Lopes (Alaqua Cox) batalha para se reconectar com suas raízes nativo-americanas, enquanto equilibra aspirações ligadas a uma vida de crime como sucessora do legado brutal de Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), o Rei do Crime. No primeiro episódio somos introduzidos a Maya Lopez e seus dilemas.”

Além de mostrar mais sobre do que aconteceu com a Eco após o encerramento de Gavião Arqueiro, a produção terá ligação direta com a nova série do Demolidor, segundo o que diz Vincent D’Onofrio. A então chamada de Daredevil: Born Again, também está prevista para estrear em 2024, mas sem uma data definida.

O elenco conta com a volta de Alaqua Cox como Eco, além de Chaske Spencer como Henry, Tantoo Cardinal como Chula, Graham Greene como Skully, Cody Lightning como Cousin Biscuit, Charlie Cox como Demolidor, Devery Jacobs como Bonnie, Zach McClarnon como Willian Lopez e Vincent D’Onofrio como Rei do crime.

Eco estreia no dia 10 de janeiro de 2024.

These provided settings for his stories, exploring ambivalent ethical and political issues of the modern world, often through a Biblical lens that offered redemption to criminals and sinners while exposing the hypocrisies of moral superiors.
