IPOB challenge Soludo over soldiers deployment to Ogbaru
The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has said that the deployment of soldiers to the Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra cannot stop the operation of the Eastern Security Network, ESN, in the state. IPOB refered to the deployment of soldiers to the area as illegal and a waste of government resources. Emma Powerful, the spokesman of IPOB, said Ogbaru Community is calm due to the assistance of ESN and protection from criminals and Fulani bandits. In a statement he signed, Powerful said: “The global family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by the great prophet and liberator Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu Kanu sees the continuous and illegal deployment of soldiers in Ogbaru LGA, Anambra State by the Governor, Professor Charles Soludo as a waste of time and resources. Soludo’s interest is to please his Fulani Masters with claims of chasing away ESN Operatives for political favors. “Reports have it that Governor Soludo has given order to the military joint forces to invade Ogbaru LGA of Anambra State, especially Umunankwo, Echeuche, and Osamalla Communities. The above named communities have witnessed an influx of murderous Nigeria Military via invitation by Governor Soludo, thinking he will stop IPOB. Due to the military invasion of Ogbaru Communities, many schools have been closed, and farmers are not able to go to their farms. Governor Soludo and his murderous military have sent Ogbaru children out of school. He will also create hunger in Anambra State and Alaigbo as soldiers are preventing Ogbaru farmers from going to farms as the farming season commences. “Governor Soludo and his military are threatening to burn down houses in the community if they don’t inform them about the activities of IPOB/ESN Operatives. Governor Soludo’s terrorist military has burnt down many houses already in Ogbaru. We don’t know why some of the acclaimed governors in the East are against ESN for protecting Biafra Land against marauding Fulani jihadist herdsmen and bandits. All they do is satisfy their Fulani political Masters in Abuja with the blood of their brothers and sisters who voted them into office. “The acclaimed Prof. Chukwuma Soludo was among the governors that Ndigbo thought would set an example for other governors to follow. At last, he is so daft and clueless like his predecessors. He hasn’t brought any visible development into Anambra since he was voted into office. All he does is to go about speaking grammar. Thanks for the ingenuity of the Anambra people who are developing Anambra State on an individual basis and as a community while Gov. Soludo goes around commissioning privately funded projects. What exactly is Soludo doing with federal allocations and state internally generated revenues? All he does is recruit Agboros as task force and military to be intimidating Anambra residents. “Governor Soludo should focus on providing security and development to the Anambra people and stop being Abuja pleaser. He should demilitarize Anambra State of Boko Haram infiltrated Army. He should also disband or caution his notorious security groups such as AVG and Pillar Youths. If the Anambra State government refuses to call his notorious security groups to order, IPOB volunteers and ESN operatives would do what is necessary to keep our land and people safe.” Read the full article

By • Olalekan Fagbade JUST IN This Govt inherited dead economy- Another opposition Gov hails Tinubu Professor Charles Soludo, Governor of Anambra State has disclosed that the adminsitration of President Bola Tinubu inherited a dead economy. Soludo stated this while commenting the current naira-dollar exchange during an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today. The former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) said part of the problem was that that the apex bank was illegally printing money in total violation of the 2007 Act governing the finacial institution. Charles Soludo said, “We must realize where we were coming from. We sat here in this country and saw the monetary authorities literally printing money. And to prevent us from getting to where we are today, that was why we had an explicit clause that prevented the Central Bank from landing recklessly, granting ways and means to the federal government. “We explicitly put into the law that you can’t grant the federal government more than 5% of the previous year’s actual revenue. And that so granted must be retired by the end of the year in which it was granted. And when the federal government fails to retire, the central bank is forbidden by that law from further advancing ways and means. That was the law 2007 act of the Central Bank. “But we sat all of us Nigerians watching the CBN illegally and brazenly violating that act year on year and kept on printing money. That is when advance money is not backed by nothing; you just credit the federal government with trillions N 4 trillion, N10 trillion, N15 trillion and we kept going. “I said it before. This particular government inherited a dead economy from a micro economic point of view, this government inherited a dead horse that was seen standing but people didn’t know that it was dead. I think it’s important for Nigerians to understand this.” Speaking while advancing negotiations concerning a multi-billion dollar infrastructure finance facility from the Islamic Development Bank in Saudi Arabia earlier in the month, Tinubu said his administration inherited serious liabilities from his predecessors.
