It’s funny that Sumire is the one with the Cinderella persona and Akechi is the one with the prince outfit and yet the most Prince Charming-coded thing in the game is Joker holding onto a single glove, waiting for its owner to return after the magic that let them spend a brief time together was over. The glove is functionally the same as a glass slipper. So in conclusion detective prince? more like disney princess--

I've always really liked the idea of goro waking up after the engine room with a bullet wound in the chest. he miraculously survives, and akira has to take him in and tend to him, while hiding him from shido's men😳💦

i maintain that the reason goro sucks at cooking is bc he absolutely cannot for the life of him experiment with it. he can follow instructions fine but if there's vague terms or if something says to eyeball it he's completely lost. that, and goro cannot stand having to do multiple things at once and will absolutely burn a building down because he wasn't keeping a close enough eye on the stove. this is what makes akira so good at cooking, on the other hand--he thrives at experimenting and taste testing and the chaos of the kitchen is something he lives for.

HOWEVER. goro is very good at following a step-by-step guide. he is extremely meticulous. he is capable of being precise with measurements. so once he's introduced to it, goro becomes an incredible baker. it even becomes therapeutic, a method of relaxing after a long day. akira hates baking for the same reasons goro loves it, but loves having yummy tasty treats, so baking becomes goro's forte.

unfortunately, being the friend who brings baked goods to every hangout means goro is not escaping the has-a-sweet-tooth allegations anytime soon.

#if you're curious I do think goro has a sweet tooth. or did as a kid. but had to play it up for the cameras so much #and food became such a Means To An End (like everything else) that he stopped caring abt taste and grew resentful of the sweet tooth #shtick just like he grew resentful of the detective prince as a whole. so he isn't *lying* when he says it's for the cameras #but he also isn't telling the truth either. ofc the sweet tooth thing is a lie just like everything about the detective prince is a lie #<- delusional. the mask is just as much a part of him as what it disguises #baby goro loved his mother's pancakes is what im saying. back when she still cooked for him........#(so pancakes and sweets are also associated with his mother. which only complicated his feelings even further)#so yeah! that's my opinion on the does goro like sweets thing #well yes but actually no but actually yes #sera posts #goro akechi #sera talks goro
