today I violently cried about how artists exist and have existed for the entire history of humanity and how they were (and are!) able to create something that probably at some point felt like the point of their existence, something they poured their thoughts, feelings and soul into, something they spent days, weeks or years on... something that's absolutely gorgeous. how proud they probably felt about their creations. how I, as an artist, am a part of the silent understanding amongst all artists that ever existed - I lived, I learned, here is my work. almost a community, may I say.

this applies to films, animation, digital art, traditional art, tapestry, knitting, crocheting, photography, fashion - all kinds of art and expression there is!!!

I was shocked at the realization that even the smallest art I see is probably a creation of someone who LOVED what they were doing. it was a creation full of FEELINGS, skill, and thoughts who someone cared enough about to show them to the rest of the world. of course sometimes the feelings that are being put in art are as far away from love as it gets - but they are feeling nonetheless!!! you are human, you feel! you want to share it!!

of course I can never repeat someone's art at my first attempt! it's love! I can't and won't immediately get it right! I have to give my work a love of my own, and only then I will get it, in my own, unique way!
