Is Golden Shower the most nonsensical story in any FE game?

Hm...

I wouldn't say so, because Conquest's plot is definitely a serious contender, but Golden Shower is definitely the most tonedeaf one!

When CQ was nonsensical but at least tried to tackle the consequences of an invasion - how Corn's family was tearing apart and, despite FEH giving us Queenoka's alt rambling about perfume, the fact that Hoshido lost its people and its royals and how much it weighed on Corn, who was always wondering if this was the only solution and wished for something different, refusing to rekt her sibs.

On Golden Shower, we have Clout mowing down Faerghans like wheat, not gaf if his master plan is doomed to fail, never have him try to seek another resolution, and we have the biggests lols with him at then end asking Rhea if she doesn't want to run away - even if he prevented her from doing so (aka running away to return home) in the previous chapter.

Golden Shower is not only tonedeaf, but managed to make me dislike every character associated to the protag's side, which is sort of a novelty in itself.

On the bright side, Nopes isn't a FE game, so fwiw, Golden Shower isn't a FE game.

Re-watching The Rings of Power S1 knowing Halbrand = Sauron is... Something else. I mean, in some scenes it seems so obvious now. Like, just before he and Galadriel first meet, the music is very dark and menacing... It was literally ANNOUNCED that what she would find there was evil, we just forgot about it as Sauron did a great job at fooling us all.....

Oh and this scene:

need more ocs that have good old fashioned bodyguards. keagan kind of has one in boone but only in that boone doesn’t give a fuck about half the things happening and will just start shooting people if keagan says to/is attacked. plus keagan is taller than boone and heavily scarred and also broad/muscular so they’re just both intimidating. charlie did have one but he got turned into a pile of goop (rip charon) and now he has to guard butch more than anything. edith isn’t even worth mentioning she Is the bodyguard

I too was wondering about this the other day actually! From Forodwaith to Sutherland it's like almost all the length of mapped Middle Earth! He traveled ALL that distance on foot!?! Or Did Goo-ron reek into the fault lines & travelled that way along the mountains?! Maybe might work if he comes out of the mountains near Belfalas and gets on a ship to Cape Andrast or something. Or maybe he DID walk all the way to Mordor.

so what was sauron doing between attacking that poor person on the cart and meeting those people heading to the sea? he at least found a change of clothes... how far did he travel?
