Let's talk about the idolized Aurangzeb. What he did and why is he considered great?
We will be focusing on the destruction of temples and hindu genocide done by him to debunk claims deny that this.
By the order of Aurangzeb (1645 AD) according to Mirãt-i-Ahmadî, Temple of Chintaman situated close to Sarashpur (Gujarat) and built by Sitaldas jeweller was converted into a mosque named Quwwat-ul-lslam (might of Islam) (1645 AD.) A cow was slaughtered to 'solemnize' the 'ceremony'.
Slaughtering a cow was a heinous choice, cow being one of the holiest animal in Hinduism. As well as, Hinduism prohibits animal slaughter, to do it right where their place of worship used to be where now stands a Mosque was simply to mock and destroy the souls of the indigenous population. The Pandits and Cows were always their main targets.
This was done before he even became the king, he was just a prince at this point.
When he became the king he sent Mir Jumla on an expedition to Cooch Bihar. Mir Jumla demolished ALL temples in that city and erected mosques in their stead. The general himself wielded a battle-axe to break the image of Narayana.
Mirãt-i-Ahmadî continues, In 1666 AD, he ordered the faujdar of Mathura to remove a stone railing which had been presented by Dara Shukoh to the temples of Keshav Rai. He explained: “In the Muslim faith it is a sin even to look at a temple and this Dara had restored a railing in a temple!”
You can still argue that Islamic Colonization simply had a political motif and not a religious one, if that would have been the case, none of the indigenous people would have been harmed, none of them would have been forcefully converted, their heritage would not have been destroyed right in front of their eyes, their schools and texts would have been burned. This is downright evil and was done in the name of Allah by all the Mughal tyrants.
“The richly jewelled idols taken from the infidel temples were transferred to Agra and placed beneath the steps leading to the Nawab Begum Sahib's (Jahanara's) mosque in order that they might be “pressed under foot by the true believers”. Mathura changed its name into Islamabad and was thus called in all official documents.”
In the same year, Sita Ram ji temple at Soron was destroyed as also the shrine of Devi Patan at Gonda. News came from Malwa also that the local governor had sent 400 troopers to destroy all temples around Ujjain.
According to Muraqat-i-Abul Hasan, civil officers, agents of jagirdars, karoris and amlas from Cuttack in Orissa to Medinipur in Bengal were instructed as follows:
“Every idol house built during the last 10 or 12 years' should be demolished without delay. Also, do not allow the crushed Hindus and despicable infidels to repair their old temples. Reports of the destruction of temples should be sent to the court under the seal of the qazis and attested by pious Shaikhs.”
(1672 AD) several thousand Satnamis were slaughtered near Narnaul in Mewat for which act of 'heroism' Radandaz Khan was tided Shuja'at Khan with the mansab of 3000 and 2000 horse.
(1675 AD) Guru Tegh Bahadur was tortured to death for his resistance against the forcible conversion of the Hindus of Kashmir. The destruction of gurudwaras thereafter is a well-known story which our secularists have succeeded in suppressing because the Akali brand Sikhs have been forging ties of friendship with Islam as against their parent faith, Hindu Dharma.
Mirãt-i-Ahmadî goes ahead: “On 6th January 1680 A.D. Prince Mohammad Azam and Khan Jahan Bahadur obtained permission to visit Udaipur. Ruhullah Khan and Yakkattaz Khan also proceeded thither to effect the destruction of the temples of the idolators. These edifices situated in the vicinity of the Rana's palace were among the wonders of the age, and had been erected by the infidels to the ruin of their souls and the loss of their wealth”. Pioneers destroyed the images. On 24th January the king visited the tank of Udayasagar.
His Majesty ordered all three of the Hindu temples to be levelled with the ground. On 29th January Hasan AN Khan made his appearance' and stated that “172 temples in the neighbouring districts had been destroyed.” His Majesty proceeded to Chitor on 22nd February.
Temples to the number of 63 were destroyed. Abu Tarab who had been commissioned to effect the destruction of idol temples of Amber, reported in person on 10th August that 66 temples had been levelled to the ground.’ The temple of Someshwar in western Mewar was also destroyed at a later date in the same year. It may be mentioned that unlike Jodhpur and Udaipur, Amber was the capital of a state loyal to the Mughal emperor.
Khafi Khan records in his Muntakhab-ul-Lubab: ‘On the capture of Golconda, the Emperor appointed Abdur Rahim Khan as censor of the city of Haiderabad with orders to put down infidel practices and innovations, and destroy the temples and build mosques on the sites.’ That was in 1687 AD. In 1690 AD, he ordered destruction of temples at Ellora, Trimbakeshwar, Narasinghpur, and Pandharpur.
Aurangzeb also destroyed, Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Kashi, Uttar Pradesh - which considered as the most scared hindu temple and land.
In 1698 AD, the story was repeated at Bijapur. According to Mirat-i-AhmadT: 'Hamidud-din Khan Bahadur who had been deputed to destroy the temples of Bijapur and build mosques there, returned to court after carrying out the order and was praised by the Emperor.' As late as 1705 AD, two years before he died, 'the emperor, summoning Muhammad Khalil and Khidmat Rai, the darogha of hatchet-men' ordered them to demolish the temple of Pandharpur, and to take the butchers of the camp there and slaughter cows in the temple.' Cow-slaughter at a temple site was a safeguard against Hindus rebuilding it on the same spot.
The saddest part is, all of this information, the bloodiest part of Indian History is never shown to the people, they grow up learning, Mughals were great emperors that built great things. When none of that holds any ounce of truth. It should be said without any censorship, these tyrants destroyed the culture, tradition and religions of India.
With all this information, if you're still defending these tyrants, if you still "want them around", if you still insist "it wasn't that bad", you absolutely do not care about "human rights", every activism you take part in is just performative. And I do not respect you or your opinion on any social issue.

But what is most prized is not elegant verbal trickery, but rather the putting into words of a cosmic truth. This aspect of Vedic religion has been much discussed -- and much disputed -- especially in the last fifty years or so. The discussions have centered around two terms, bráhman- and tá-. The neuter noun bráhman- is the derivational base to which the masculine noun brahmán- 'possessor of bráhman-' and ultimately bråhmaa-, the name both of the priestly caste and of the exegetical ritual texts. Bráhman- has been the subject of several searching studies by eminent 20th century Vedicists, e.g. Renou and Silburn 1949, Gonda 1950, Thieme 1952, Schmidt 1968. Philological examination of the gvedic passages seems especially to support the view of Thieme that bráhman refers originally to a "formulation" (Formulierung), the capturing in words of a significant and non-self-evident truth.66 The ability to formulate such truths gives the formulator (brahmán-) special powers, which can be exercised even in cosmic forces (see Jamison, 1991, on Atri). This power attributed to a correctly stated truth is found in the (later) "*satyakriyå" or 'act of truth', seminally discussed by W. Norman Brown (1941, 1963, 1968), which is in fact already found in the RV and has counterparts in other Indo-European cultures (see e.g. Watkins 1979). Such formulated speech (bráhman) must be recited correctly, otherwise there is danger of losing one's head (as explained in the indraśatru legend TS 2.4.12.1, ŚB 1.6.3.8), and it must be recited with its author's name.
[above regards early vedic, below regards middle vedic]
So, it is clear that the elevation of the ritual in the middle Vedic period has affected every aspect of the religious and a large section of the social realm. In turn, the new power of the ritual derives from the strengthening of the system of identifications we discussed briefly above. The ritual ground is the mesocosm in which the macrocosm can be controlled. Objects and positions in the ritual ground have exact counterparts in both the human (i.e. microcosmic) realm and the cosmic realm -- e.g. a piece of gold can stand for wealth among men and the sun in the divine world. The recognition of these bonds of identification -- many of which are far less obvious than the example just given -- is a central intellectual and theological enterprise, the continuation of the 'formulation of mythical truths' discussed above. The universe can be viewed as a rich and often esoteric system of homologies, and the assemblage, manipulation, and apostrophizing of homologues in the delimited ritual arena allows men to exert control over their apparently unruly correspondents outside it. This "ritual science" is based on the strictly logical application of the rule of cause and effect, even though the initial proposition in an argument of this sort ("the sun is gold") is something that we would not accept.69 Ritual Science received a seminal discussion by Oldenberg 1919 and also by Schayer 1925 and has frequently been treated since, e.g. in the most recent extensive treatment by B. K. Smith 1989; for references to other lit., see Smith 1986 : 95, n. 44.70
Vedic Hinduism, Witzel and Jamison
"the formulation of significant and non-obvious truths via the drawing of connections" is a natural category to me. obviously cf say, kabblah, but also the use of clever mappings between disparate objects in math

If you're underage or don't like such scenes, don't read from: "He joins your lips again and quickly finishes undressing you." to: "Once you do, he pulls out of you and falls on the bed next to you.". This chapter also contains plot and some dialogue from episode four of season six. Gif is not mine. Enjoy!

One day, not long before Bariss' betrayal, you get terrible news from Satine. The Mandalore is being overrun by criminals and her enemies try to make her look bad. She pleads for your help. The Republic is not going to help her. She's alone. You assure her you'll come as soon as you can.
You barely end the call when you issue orders. You're going to set off first with a small party, while a few squads of soldiers will follow and wait in space in case you need them. You want Lanash to stay with them, but she's hearing none of it. She needs to see if Axe is safe.
And so, you set off to Mandalore. You barely exit the hyperspace when you're attacked. After feeling and hearing the assault you hurry to the bridge.
'Captain, what is going on?' you ask. 'Who is attacking us?'
'The Separatists, Your Majesty,' Captain Gonda answers, his expression grim. 'And if I recognize the command ship correctly… it's none other than General Grievous.'
Lanash gasps beside you. Your expression hardens with resolve.
'Signal the Republic,' you order. 'It's not a coincidence. They were waiting for us.'
'It's a trap?' your maid asks, frowning. 'But how? No one knew we're going here. And we set off right after your conversation with the Duchess.'
'It possible someone intercepted the transmission,' Gonda suggests. You think about your one conversation with Anakin. About a Sith Lord that may be pulling all the strings of the Clone Wars and that always seem to be ahead of the Jedi.
'Possibly,' you concede, doubtful however.
'Kriff,' the Captain curses. 'They're jamming our comms, Your Majesty.'
A blast shakes the ship. Then another. And again.
'We're not equipped to fight them,' Hawk says. You clench your jaw, thinking. But there's really only one option here.
'Signal our surrender,' you order.
'But Your Majesty-' Lanash starts to protest.
'If they wanted us dead, we'd already be,' you interrupt her. 'We can't win. It's the only way I can secure your safety.'
Their safety. Because you know they want you. You don't know why exactly, but they do.
Not much time passes after your surrender before the droids enter the bridge, their blasters pointed at you. You all raise your hands in surrender.
'You will come with us,' one of them says. You only glare at him in response.
You're placed in a cell on the command ship. Your crew was spared. They're in separate cells. You wait patiently for your enemies' next move.
Finally, you hear the door opening behind you and then characteristic footsteps. But you turn only after you hear a cough. You stare at General Grievous without a hint of emotion on your face.
'Your Majesty, I'm very pleased you're here,' he says and looks you over. 'The stories about your beauty don't give you enough justice.'
'I'm flattered,' you respond, your voice flat. Grievous starts walking around the cell, his hands behind his back. You follow him with your eyes.
'I'm sorry if your… room… is not up to your standards,' he says, giving you an amused look. At least you assume as much. It's not as if you can tell what he's feeling staring at that mask.
'Oh, I've had worse accommodations, don't worry,' you inform him. He stares at you for a moment.
'Anyway, it's not for long,' he says and clenches his fist in front of your face. 'Once I get what I want, I'm afraid your life will end.'
'And that would be?' you ask coldly. You can swear his eyes are actually gleaming.
'Anakin Skywalker,' he answers and fear grabs your heart. 'Once he comes to rescue you, I'm going to kill him and add his lightsaber to my collection.'
'That will never happen,' you say strongly.
'You don't believe he will come to rescue you?' he asks.
'Oh, I know he will,' you say and give him a confident look. 'But I also know he will win. You won't kill him.'
Grievous laughs and then coughs. You wait for him to stop.
'Don't be so sure about it,' he finally says. 'That boy has no chance with me.'
'We'll see,' you say after a beat. He eyes you.
'Enjoy your stay, Your Majesty,' he says and turns. 'After all, these will be your last moments.'
He leaves the cell is once again locked. You exhale shakily. You wait a moment longer, then take out your secret communicator. You dial its twin that belongs to your husband.
'Don't panic… much at least… but I've been kidnapped,' you say quietly, pressing your lips to it. 'Again. This time by Grievous. It's a trap, obviously. For you. He hopes you will come to rescue me and he will kill you. I know you will come for me, but don't die. Please.'
You open your mouth to say more, but then the reality of the situation sinks in. You inhale shakily, trying not to cry.
'I love you,' you whisper. 'With all my heart.'
You end the message and dry your eyes. Now all you can do is wait.
Luckily, it's not a long wait. Suddenly, the ship shakes and you hear gunfire. And then running and shouts. You smile and sit down.
More time passes. Suddenly, the door to the cell opens once more. This time a familiar Jedi steps through it.
'Obi-Wan!' you exclaim with relief. 'I'm so glad you're here. But it's a trap.'
'I know,' Kenobi says. 'Anakin passed me on your message.'
'Where… is he?' you ask, worried but trying desperately not to show it.
'Doing what he does best,' he answers and sends you a smile. 'Flying a ship and blasting anyone that comes his way. Which means we must hurry.'
You nod and leave your cell. The Jedi gives you a blaster. You take it with gratitude, feeling better armed. Just then you hear a yell.
'Kriff!' someone curses. You turn your heads, your weapon raised. You see Cody holding his arms in front of his face and a terrified Lanash next to him with a knife in her hands.
'I am so sorry, Commander!' she apologizes. You hurry to them. More Clones show up with your crew.
'Where did you get that knife?' you ask your maid, puzzled. She blinks at you.
'I always carry it with me,' she says and rolls her eyes. 'And the droids were dumb enough not to search me. When the cell opened, I attacked… I had no idea it's Commander Cody… I'm so sorry…'
'Well, I'm glad to know you are ready to defend yourself,' Cody says, sending her a smile. She beams at him.
'Oh, Axe is going to be thrilled,' you say. 'Maybe less that you almost killed an ally.'
'Shh… no need to tell him that,' Lanash says, sheepish.
'Who is Axe?' Obi-Wan asks, puzzled.
'My boyfriend!' your maid answers proudly. Another blast shakes the ship.
'Let's get out of here,' Cody suggests. You nod and follow your rescuers to the hangar. You fight your way to their ships and then get out of there. Soon enough you are on the Resolute. From there you watch Grievous fleet retreat. Soon after Anakin and others join you.
'Thank you for your help, General Kenobi,' you say on the bridge. He flashes you a smile. In the corner of your eye, you see your husband entering the room. It costs you everything not to run to him and let him hold you in his arms.
'[Y/N], I'm so glad you're okay,' he says, stopping. You turn to face him. Behind him Ahsoka stares at you with relief in her eyes. But yours are focused on Skywalker, his eyes telling you everything his mouth can't at the moment.
'Thank you for coming to my rescue,' you say, also trying to tell him with your eyes what you really want to say. 'And I'm glad the trap didn't work.'
'It takes more than that to capture me,' he says, grinning. You chuckle and turn to Admiral Yularen.
'Admiral, if you could drop us off on Mandalore, we'd be most grateful,' you say. Your rescuers frown.
'Mandalore?' Obi-Wan asks. 'That's where you were heading?'
'Duchess Satine is in trouble,' you respond, nodding. 'I promised to help. Please, we're delayed as it is.'
'Admiral,' Anakin quickly says.
'I'll set the course,' Yularen says. You smile.
'Thank you,' you say. 'If you excuse me, I need to let her know why we're not there yet.'
'You can call from my room,' Skywalker quickly offers. You notice Kenobi frowning at him. Not good.
'Thank you,' you say and glance discreetly at the older Jedi. 'I remember where it is. Lanash, can you tell the others what we know about the situation on Mandalore?'
'Of course,' your maid answers. You hurry to your husband's room to call Satine. Your heart is beating fast. That look in Obi-Wan's eyes worries you.
*
When you arrive on Mandalore, Satine, Axe and some others are already waiting for you on the landing platform. You exit the Resolute flanked by Hawk, Lanash, Anakin, Ahsoka, Cody and Rex. You can see worry in Woves' eyes.
'Go to her,' the Duchess says to him. He looks at her, surprised. She sends him a small smile.
'She's been kidnapped by General Grievous,' she says. 'I think we can allow a little breach in decorum. Go.'
He looks at your maid, hesitating. You smile.
'Go to him,' you say to her. She glances at you, clearly wanting to hurry to her beloved.
'Go,' you urge her. She nods her thanks and starts walking faster. It's all Axe needs to break into a run to her. She starts running too and soon they're holding each other in their arms, relieved the other is okay.
'Lanash…' he whispers.
'Oh, Axe,' she sighs and presses herself closer to himself.
'So… things are good between them?' Skywalker asks.
'I'd say they're excellent,' you answer smiling. 'Satine.'
'I'm so glad you're okay,' she says, grabbing your hands in hers. 'And here. We… we have troubles.'
'Don't worry, we're here to help, Your Highness,' Kenobi says. The Duchess frowns at him.
'The Republic refused to help,' she says.
'Well, it's not the first time we disobey,' Skywalker says, grinning. She chuckles.
'My squadrons should be here any minute as well,' you say. 'Just tell us what you need.'
With the Mandalorian's army, your soldiers and your rescuers, it takes little time to get rid of the syndicates and the Death Watch is defeated once and for all. However, Darth Maul and Savage Opress escape. Still, it's a victory.
Satine publicly thanks you for your help and exposes the plans of the Death Watch. People adore her once more. And all you can think about is how you want to finally hold your husband. However, after you return inside the palace, Obi-Wan gives you and Anakin a stern look.
'We need to talk,' he says. You and Skywalker exchange worried glances.
A few minutes later you're in one of the guest rooms. Kenobi is pacing in front of you and Anakin. You calmly sip a drink. Your husband is incredibly tense.
'I want to know what exactly is going on between you two,' the older Jedi finally says, facing you two with a stern expression. 'And don't try telling me there's nothing, that you two are just friends. I have my eyes. And I feel your emotions in the Force. This is more than friendship.'
He crosses his arms and looks at you, expectant. You and Skywalker look at each other. You see panic in his eyes. Your fear is gone. You nod at him discreetly, reminding him of your opinion. His shoulders slump. He nods. He turns to his former master and takes in a deep breath.
'You're right,' he admits. 'We're more than friends. I love [Y/N]. And she loves me.'
'That much I know, Anakin,' Obi-Wan scoffs. 'I've known that for some time. I know you both well. You tried to hide it very well, I admit, but the way you look at each other when you believe no one is watching… I knew it's love. My question is whether you did something about those feelings, despite your vows.'
Your husband hesitates. He glances at you but you avoid his gaze, calmly drinking your drink. It's his decision, how much he wants to tell his friend. He takes in another deep breath.
'Yes,' he reveals. 'We did. Don't think we didn't try to resist our feelings. We did. [Y/N] even more than I, for my sake. But…'
'But then I realized I won't be able to be with any other man as long as Anakin lives,' you say quietly when he is not able to finish. You look at each other and share a fond smile.
'When was it?' Kenobi asks. You turn your eyes to him again.
'When I was to marry…' you start but this time you're unable to finish. You can't bring yourself to say the name of the man who murdered your family. The older Jedi looks away, understanding. He sighs softly.
'So, that argument before that,' he says and looks at his former padawan. 'I'm guessing you confessed your feelings and were rejected.'
'To put it lightly,' your husband says. You blush and clear your throat.
'I thought I'm doing what's best for you,' you say. 'Besides, I was not completely aware of my own feelings yet. But after I was faced with a possibility of marrying… someone else… like I said, I knew.'
Silence fills the room. Your heart is beating fast. You can feel how anxious your husband is beside you. You want to reach for him, but prefer not to anger Obi-Wan more.
'I am not blind, Anakin,' he finally says. 'Though I have tried to be, for your sake. And for yours, [Y/N]'s.'
You flinch, surprised. He looks at you and smiles slightly.
'Anakin has loved you since the day you met, on the streets of Luth,' he says, stunning you even more. 'He didn't know it either, but the way he looked at you when we were leaving… I knew what it was.'
He turns to Skywalker again. Your husband is blushing now.
'And when you did realize what you feel, you tried to hide it, but you were not always able to,' the Older Jedi continues. 'I think you knew that I know, though we did not speak of it. We... pretended that I don't know. And I was happy to, because it made you happy. You made him happy, [Y/N], when nothing else ever truly could.'
Tears are in your eyes. Both from what Obi-Wan said and because he used past tense. He looks at you sadly.
'I wish things were different,' he says. 'I truly do. But after today… the Jedi Council will question again your relationship. Grievous chose you, [Y/N], to be a bait for Anakin for a reason. I don't know whether the Separatists know about you two, or they simply noticed how close you two are… but Master Windu and others won't believe it's just because you two are best friends. You must end it.'
'It's not that simple,' your husband says, becoming angry. This time you don't care what Kenobi thinks and you put your hand on Skywalker's.
'You're a Jedi, Anakin, so yes, it is,' the older Jedi says, raising his voice slightly. 'This… affair… has to end today.'
'This isn't an affair,' you deny, frowning.
'Whatever this relationship is, it has to end,' Obi-Wan says and looks at you with sorrow. 'I'm sorry. But if you truly care for him, you must understand how much at risk he is now. More than ever.'
'How dare you-' you start, outraged he has the nerve to suggest you don't care about Skywalker.
'We're not getting a divorce,' Anakin interrupts you, his voice firm. Kenobi is taken aback. His eyes go wide.
'I beg your pardon?' he splutters out finally. 'You- What?'
'We're married,' your husband declares, grasping your hand. 'And we're not going to get a divorce, because the Jedi are suspicious. We knew they're going to become one day. It changes nothing. I love [Y/N], Obi-Wan. And she loves me. She… she makes me a better Jedi if you can believe it. Just today, everything in me was screaming to run straight into danger and rescue her. But I didn't. I went to you and agreed for your plan. All the time I was anxious and wanted to save her, but I trusted you can bring her safe. My feelings for her in no way stop me from fulfilling my duty.'
His former master stares at him in shock. He opens and closes his mouth a few times. You wait anxiously. You've wanted him to know, he's like a brother to Skywalker, but you're still nervous about his reaction.
'You're married,' he finally repeats and looks at you. 'I honestly can't believe you've gone that far. You know how much that complicates things. Not only Anakin is a Jedi, he's also a general to the army of the Republic. And marriage to you made him king. Why would you even do that is beyond me. I hardly think your father would approve of that.'
'Actually…' you say slowly, '… he's the one who pushed us into it.'
'What?' the older Jedi asks, stunned again. You inhale and exhale.
'In my culture, love is the most sacred thing,' you start explaining. 'If two people love each other, they should battle the odds to be together. Because Anakin is not a Luthian, I tried to pull away from him, give him a chance to be a Jedi he's meant to be. But then that… forced marriage thing happened. We started our relationship but I was ready to pull back if it was to become an obstacle for Anakin. And then… I was kidnapped by the Separatists. All I could think about was him. And my father saw that. He suspected something, of course. But only then he saw I'm in love with him. And our people love unconditionally. When we fall in love… we won't do it ever again. So, he saw that as a bit problematic since I was the heir to the throne. Because I'd either marry the man I love, or I'd have to marry someone I could lever love. And he wanted me to both do my duty and be happy. So, he encouraged Anakin to propose to me. And after the kidnapping I didn't need much convincing.'
'So, you got married before you have become a queen,' Kenobi sighs. You nod.
'At the time, we believed we have much time,' you say. 'We hoped that either something will change in the way of the Jedi or the war will end…'
'And if nothing changed, I would leave the Jedi Order,' Skywalker reveals, surprising his former master. 'But then Luth was attacked and the king murdered.'
'I had to take the throne,' you say grimly. 'We really believed we won't have to hide our relationship by the time that happens.'
'Hold on,' Obi-Wan says, frowning, and points at his former padawan. 'During the coronation you were gone for some time. At the time [Y/N] was being crowned. Am I right to presume you've been crowned the king at the time?'
'Yes,' his best friend confirms, feeling a bit uncomfortable.
'So,' the older Jedi says after a beat. 'The priests know then. And your people have a king and don't know about it.'
'Weeeeellll…' you say and look at him with guilt. His eyes go wide.
'They know?!' he asks, shocked. 'But… how did you manage to keep it a secret from the rest of the galaxy?'
'There is a reason why our planet is called a paradise,' you scoff. 'Thanks to that, the people are loyal to the royal family.'
'I'm sure someone tried to sell that information,' Obi-Wan argues.
'Of course they did,' you confirm. 'But the reason for our low percentage of criminals is because our intelligence is good at their job. Before they manage to slip that information, they're already in custody.'
He stares at you. You give him an innocent smile. He sits down in a chair.
'I'm going to need a drink after this is over,' he declares. You stand up and crouch in front of him. You take his hands in yours, looking at him with guilt.
'I'm sorry, Obi-Wan,' you say softly. 'I don't like it either that I'm making Anakin go against your rules. But you said it yourself. He's happy. And… I like to think we both make each other better people.'
Kenobi glances at his former padawan. He can't deny that. Ever since the Clone Wars has started, he noticed a certain change in him. He matured. He's still the reckless Skywalker with a big heart. But his temper is more under control. He actually listens sometimes.
'Very well,' he sighs after a long moment. 'I can see I'm not going to convince you to change your minds. And I can see you've thought it through. I also admit that you seem to have a good influence on each other. And you couldn't have predicted the death of your father, [Y/N]. But you must be careful. All it takes is one person unkind to you and… Promise me, you'll be careful. You are stronger together, there's no doubt. But people can't find out about you two. Not just yet.'
'We promise, Obi-Wan,' Skywalker says, relieved. He feels as if a large burden has been lifted from his shoulders. His best friend, brother, knows his deepest secret and while doesn't exactly approve, he's not going to tell on him and also is going to support him. He hasn't even realized how much he wanted that. Needed that.
You smile beautifully at Kenobi and for a moment an older Jedi can see why his former padawan has been so captivated by you he fell in love. But then your arms are around him and he stares with surprise at your husband, who stifles a chuckle.
'Thank you, Obi-Wan,' you whisper and pull away. 'Truly.'
He sighs and gives you a tired smile. He looks you in the eyes.
'Don't let him lose his course,' he asks you quietly. You nod solemnly. He sighs again and stands up.
'I see those glances, Anakin,' he says. 'Very well, I'll leave you two alone.'
'Well, don't blame me for being anxious to check out if my wife is all right after being kidnapped,' Skywalker says, barely stopping a grin. You roll your eyes and stand up as well.
'Ignore him, please,' you say. The older Jedi shakes his head.
'It's not easy, you know it,' he says. 'I'll go and check on the Duchess.'
'Let us know if you need some advice,' your husband says, grinning. His former master sends him a glare and leaves. You look at Anakin, frowning.
'What was that about?' you ask.
'He and Satine are in love,' he explains, stunning you. 'But they both are… too dutiful to act on it. I suspect they may have somehow done in the past, but I've never gotent it out of Obi-Wan. But maybe now that he knows we disagree about the rules of the Jedi not having attachments, he and she will try.'
'I hope so,' you say. 'They'd be so good together.'
He smiles. But then his face twists into concern. He cups your face gently.
'How are you?' he asks softly. You smile at him and lean into his touch.
'I'm okay,' you answer and cup his face too. 'Seeing we have no chance, I surrendered, wanting my people to be safe. I knew you'd come and rescue us.'
'Always, my star,' he says and pulls you in for a hug. 'Your safety is my priority.'
'Shouldn't the galaxy be?' you tease him. He holds you tighter.
'You are my galaxy,' he whispers. You fall silent. You close your eyes and let him hold you.
'And you're mine,' you murmur, clenching to him. For a long moment you stand like that, simply basking in each other's presence. Then, he starts kissing your neck.
'I know this is a bad place…' he says, '… but I need you.'
'To hell with it, I need you too,' you say and bring your lips together. He responds eagerly and starts undressing you.
'Oh, dear!' you hear a familiar voice. Startled, you spring away from each other. You see C-3PO, who's covering his eyes.
'I'll stand on guard, then,' he says and quickly disappears.
'He could have knocked,' Anakin says, annoyed.
'I guess he did but we didn't hear it,' you explain. 'It happens to me all the time. When I don't respond after the third call, he enters. He's afraid I may be kidnapped or assassinated.'
'Oh, that's actually very good of him,' Skywalker says and pulls you to himself again. 'Now, where was I? Ah, here.'
He joins your lips again and quickly finishes undressing you. You get rid of his clothes as well and then let him carry you to the bed. He lays you down and starts kissing your whole body, starting with your face and ending on your womanhood. You're a groaning and wriggling mess under him by the time he reaches it.
'Anakin…' you breath, reaching for him. But he grabs your hands with one of his. You look at him, confused.
'Now it's about you,' he says softly. 'You were in danger. You must relax and feel alive.'
'I feel alive when I'm touching you,' you say and try to free your hands. But his grip is tight. He smirks. Oh, you don't like that smirk.
'It's also a punishment for being kidnapped again,' he says. 'You don't get to touch.'
'That's hardly fair,' you pout. 'It wasn't my fault.'
'I don't care,' he says and pushes one finger inside you. You gasp. His smirks widens and he returns to devouring you, adding more fingers with time.
'Anakin… please… I need you…' you pant after some time. He licks you a few more time, curls his fingers, until he finally pulls away. You let out a ragged breath and look at him.
His jaw is clenched. His pupils are dilated. His very hard. His body is tensed. He's just as much aroused as you are. And you think he's afraid he can't hold himself back.
'Darling…' you say softly, '… I don't want you to be gentle this time. So, do what you need. I want the same.'
His eyes spark. You see him fighting back a moment longer. But eventually he pins your hands above your head and looms over you. He presses his mouth to yours… and suddenly he's inside you.
'Anakin!' you gasp, buckling your hips.
'[Y/N]…' he groans and starts moving. He eases you at first. But when you start moving your hips, encouraging him to do more, he does just that. He goes fast and hard, making your toes curl. You meet him back with your hips, moaning his name in his lips, because he doesn't pull away for more than a second.
'Oh!' you gasp when he starts massaging your breasts with his free hand. You grind on his manhood in return. He moans and kisses you harder.
'My wife…' he murmurs. 'My star… My [Y/N]…'
'Yours,' you breathe. 'And you're mine. My husband. My phoenix. My Anakin…'
'Only yours,' he agrees and goes even faster. Your eyes roll back and you arch your back. You're close. Just a little further…
'Anakin!' you cry out as you come undone after him. Feeling your walls clench around him, he pushes a few more times and reaches his release as well.
'[Y/N]!' he moans, burying his face in the crook of your neck. It takes a moment for you to come back to reality. Once you do, he pulls out of you and falls on the bed next to you. You turn and cuddle into him. He immediately pulls you to him.
'I love you,' you say at the same time and chuckle.
'I don't know if I can stay away for much longer,' he admits a few minutes later. You squeeze his arm.
'You must,' you plead. 'Not for much longer. I feel it. Can you hold on a bit longer for me?'
'For you I'd do anything, my darling,' he murmurs and presses a kiss on top of your head. You smile and close your eyes. Soon enough you're both asleep, exhausted after everything that has happened lately.
*
A bit after Bariss' arrest, you're reading yet another boring report in your office when you hear a sound meaning someone is calling you. Glad to have an excuse to stop reading, you answer the call. You blink, surprised, to find one of the Clones in Anakin's legion.
'Fives, hello,' you greet him and frown. 'Is something the matter? Is… General Skywalker all right?'
'He said we can always call you when we need help,' he says, his eyes darting around. 'And we all saw you rushing to Commander's Tano aid. I… I need help.'
'Where are you?' you ask, instantly serious. He looks at you, relieved you're ready to aid him.
'On Coruscant,' he answers. 'I… I'm hunted by the Republic. But I did nothing wrong!'
'Send me the coordinates to meet you,' you tell him. 'I'll be there as soon as I can. Then you will explain everything.'
'Thank you, Your Majesty,' he says with gratitude. You smile at him. But as soon as he ends the call, it falls from your face.
'Lanash,' you call. Your maid quickly enters the room and curtsies.
'Yes, Your Majesty?' she asks.
'Make preparations for a trip to Coruscant,' you order. 'Incognito. No one can know but you, C-3PO, Hawk and his selected security.'
'Yes, Your Majesty,' she says, frowning, but doesn't question you. She leaves the room and carries on to fulfill your orders. You exhale slowly and quickly get ready.
You're on Coruscant as fast as you can. You check the coordinates you got from Fives and hand them to Hawk. He frowns once he sees where is the meeting point.
'It's a warehouse on level 1325, Your Majesty,' he says. 'It's one of the lower levels. It's not a safe place. It may be a trap.'
'I trust Fives,' you respond calmly. 'He's one of my husband's troops. The fact he's chosen such place means he's in deep trouble and requires our help. Let us hurry.'
Your bodyguard is not happy, but gets you on a speeder and drives off toward your destination. With you are a few soldiers acting as your protection. Lanash and Threepo have stayed on the ship, being too recognizable.
Finally, you stop. You climb off of the shuttle and follow Hawk into the warehouse warily. You look around but don't see the Clone.
'Fives?' you decide to call, getting a disapproving look from your bodyguard. 'Fives, it's me.'
A moment later a very nervous Clone emerges from the shadows. While your security tenses, you relax. You smile and walk toward the soldier.
'Your Majesty,' he says, relieved. 'You came.'
'Of course, I did,' you tell him and take his hands in yours. 'It's all right, Fives. I'm here. Tell me what happened and how can I help you.'
'I was framed because I know the truth,' he says. 'The truth about a plot. A massive deception!'
'Framed?' you ask, confused. 'For what? By whom?'
'Well, there's a sinister plot in the works against the Jedi!' he says, making your heart stop. 'I have proof of it. I can prove that everything that I know is true beyond a shadow of a doubt!'
'Show us the evidence,' Hawk says. You glance at him. He appears doubtful but he takes his duty responsibly, so he's ready to examine every situation.
'The… evidence… is… in here,' Fives says, touching his head with his finger. 'It's-It's in here. It's in all of us, every clone!'
'What is it?' you ask, worried more with every second.
'Organic chips, built into our genetic code to make us do whatever someone wants, even kill the Jedi,' he answers and you go pale. 'It's all in here!'
'If what you say is true…' your bodyguard says slowly, exchanging a look with you. You stare at the Clone. He's nervous, anxious… maybe a bit dangerous. You have to calm him down.
'It'll be okay, Fives,' you promise him, your voice soothing. 'We'll sort this out.'
'You don't believe me!' he cries out in dismay.
'Fives, we are listening to you,' you assure him. 'Your accusations are serious, we cannot dismiss them. We only want to help.'
'How do I know you're not tricking me?' he demands. 'How do I know… it won't be a trap? The Chancellor will try to kill me! I-I promise you that!'
'The Chancellor?' you ask, confused.
'He's in on it!' he explains. 'I don't know to what extent. But I know he orchestrated much of this. He told me in the medical bay!'
'He told you?' you ask, your heart beating fast, and turn to Hawk. 'We have to get him out of here. It's even more serious than we thought.'
'You… you believe me…' Fives says, relieved. 'I hoped you would. You were always suspicious of the Chancellor. That's why I called you.'
'I promise you, we'll get to the bottom of it,' you say, squeezing his hands. Just then Hawk notices something above you. His eyes go wide.
'Your Majesty, get down!' he cries out, running to you. But it's Fives that throws himself at you. Next thing you know you're on the ground, there's a loud noise and the ground is shaking. When you come to, you see your bodyguard's worried face above you.
'What happened?' you groan.
'A grenade,' Hawk answers grimly. Your eyes go wide.
'Fives!' you shout and push your bodyguard from you. You locate the Clone, a few of your soldiers already by his side. You join them and take his hand in yours. He opens his eyes.
'This... It's… bigger than any of us...' he gasps out. 'Than anything… I could have imagined. I-I never meant to... I only wanted to do my duty.'
'Stay with me, Fives!' you plead, panicked. 'Stay with me!'
But he passes out. You look at your soldiers.
'Let's get him out of here,' you order. They nod and pick him up. You hide in the shadows and get back to your vehicles. You speed back to your ship, where very anxious Lanash and C-3PO await your arrival. They're stunned to see the injured Clone and while your medics examine him, you relay what he told you.
'What now, Your Majesty?' C-3PO asks after you're done and you thought about it for a moment.
'Fives is seriously injured,' you say after a beat. 'He needs the best medical attention. In the meantime, we need to investigate what he said about the chips. And Kamino while we're at it.'
'Discreetly, I assume?' Hawk asks. You nod somberly and look at him.
'Can I trust you with that?' you ask. He nods.
'You can count on me, Your Majesty,' he says, bows and leaves.
'He's a fugitive,' your maid says. 'The Republic is after him. Your husband is after him, Your Majesty. We can't just hide him on our planet like that.'
'Well… we are friends with someone who is neutral,' you say slowly. 'And doesn't see the Chancellor as a flawless being.'
'I'll contact Axe immediately and ask if they can help us,' Lanash says and leaves. You smile, knowing very well she's happy for any excuse to visit her boyfriend.
'Your Majesty…' Threepio says slowly, '… are you going to tell King Anakin about this?'
'I should,' you answer after a moment. 'There shouldn't be lies in our marriage.'
'Oh, that's good,' the droid says, relieved. 'I'll leave you to it, then.'
He leaves as well. You're alone. You sigh after a moment and take out your hidden communicator. You call Anakin. After a moment his hologram shoots out from the com.
'[Y/N], are you all right?' he asks, worried. 'Are you kidnapped again?'
'No, I'm not,' you answer, rolling your eyes.
'Then what is it?' he asks, frowning, and looks around. 'Because I'm not going to lie to you, it's not the best moment for a conversation.'
'Fives called me,' you go straight to the point, stunning your husband. 'He asked me to meet him on Coruscant.'
'He… you… why not me?' he asks, puzzled. You smile slightly.
'Because you told your Clones they can count on me,' you explain and his look softens. 'And after what I heard, I understand why he believed why I can be more willing to believe his version than you.'
'You already met with him?' he demands. 'Where are you? Where is he?'
'Safe,' you answer sternly. 'Someone tried to kill him during our meeting and I believe it's another reason to take his accusations seriously. I'm not going to tell you where he is, I don't want to get you in trouble or force you to choose a side. But I'm asking you to consider what he told me.'
'He tried to assassinate the Chancellor, did he tell you that as well?' he asks. You blink.
'He did?' you ask. 'Oh, well, after what he told me I can understand his reasoning. I mean, I want to kill him most of the times when I meet him, but I have a strong self-control. And Fives is a soldier. Add what he told me and… well. I understand his thinking.'
'[Y/N]…' he says sternly.
'Hush and listen,' you silence him. You repeat what the Clone told you. Skywalker is obviously against a suggestion Palpatine may be involved in a plot against the Jedi.
'Now you see why he felt it's better to come to me,' you say, rolling your eyes, as your husband protests vehemently. 'Darling, stop. I'm not saying Fives is right. I'm just saying we must look into it. Either to find out the truth or to clean the Chancellor's name.'
'You're right,' he sighs after a moment. 'I need to question him myself, though.'
'It's not possible,' you deny. 'He's unconscious. Someone threw a grenade at us. He… he pushed me out of the way and took most of the impact on himself.'
'I'll have to thank him after he wakes up,' he says and looks at you with worry. 'He will wake up, right?'
'I'm still waiting for the doctors' verdict. I'll keep you updated. I'll also look into the chips.'
'I know you will. But… be careful. Both with hiding Fives and looking into the chips.'
'I will. You be careful as well.'
'I'll try. I love you.'
'And I love you.'
You smile at each other, your gazes full of longing. You end the call and exhale. Just then Lanash looks in.
'Axe said they will help us,' she informs you. 'They're already preparing everything.'
'Thank you,' you say, nodding. Your maid frowns and walks to you.
'Your Majesty?' she asks. 'What is it?'
'If the Chancellor is involved in the plot against the Jedi…' you say and look at her with worry, '… then we're in big troubles.'
'We'll be all right, Your Majesty,' Lanash says and squeezes your hands. 'The Jedi are strong. And now we know what to look for.'
'I hope you're right,' you say quietly. 'For the sake of the whole galaxy.'

Marion, Faragonda and the Ancestral Witches for the bingo? 👀
Thanks for the ask!
Marion:
She has had so much happen to her and only about 0.00001% of that has been acknowledged by the franchise. Like, okay then. If you won't do anything with her, why put her in the story in the first place? Oh, that's right. To give Bloom everything she's ever wanted. Honestly, this is pretty much Winx Club's patented process of coming up with brilliant characters and then wasting them.
Anyway, she's a bad bitch, a total queen in every sense of the word and an emotional wreck sidelined by a story that cannot fit this much greatness in it. Case open and the folder is bursting with all the different threads woven into this woman. Definitely needs further investigating and that's my opinion as a professional fangirl.
Faragonda:
I'm not the biggest Faragonda fan. Tbh I am a lot more interested in her dynamics with other characters than in her as a standalone character. But my god, the fandom does not get her, like, at all. If I see one more Shady!gonda post, I swear to god. People need to stop fucking villainizing her for the fact that she's purposefully sidelined by the writers in order to put the spotlight on the Winx and make the plot happen. Get a grip! That's not interesting! Feels like the very same processes behind the "Flora is a drug dealer" take are at play here as well. People just cannot handle kind, (seemingly) non-threatening characters. Everything has to be EdgyTM.
I think the backstory adds a lot to her character (and the rest of the Company of Light). Exploring the ways in which she has healed from her trauma and the ways in which she has suppressed it in order to be at least somewhat functional as a leader is a far more interesting way to engage with her character imo. The fallout with Griffin some time after the final battle on Domino is the prime example of this because think of the trauma of essentially losing another friend after what they all went through that day on Domino and after Hagen left, too. And then trying to balance her non-existent relationship with Griffin, her (now co-dependent, on her end at least) relationship with Saladin and Griffin and Saladin's surviving relationship that she's not privy to. I'd better stop or I'll start writing fanfiction right here in this post.
Ancestral Witches:
They're only interesting conceptually and the concept is... not lacking per se, but very unclear. They mostly exist in backstory and the backstory is a nebulous void basically so... that's not helping them. Honestly, if you really think about it, they're not that threatening. They supposedly served Darkar so they weren't even their own bosses and it took them, like, centuries? iirc to even locate the Dragon Fire and then steal it. The Trix were infinitely more proficient than that, please! They are totally underwhelming in SotLK, too, even when they're onscreen with how illogical their whole plan of action is. Didn't they know that Bloom survived and had the Dragon Fire? Valtor knew that! Yet the movie implies it's news to them. And their plan to get Bloom to destroy the sword is pathetic. They are only truly menacing in Magical Adventure (another proof that it's the superior movie).
I'm going on a slight headcanon tangent here because it explains perfectly what I find to be lacking with them. At least one dub implies that the Shadow Phoenix possessed a person to become Lord Darkar. Seeing that he created the Ancestral Witches, the assumption that they were just like him - incorporeal - fixes literally every problem. Why it took them so long to obtain the Dragon Fire? Because they needed to find bodies first. Why creating Valtor at all if they are more powerful? For the same reason. Having descendants (magically created; PLEASE, the idea that the Trix are somehow biological descendants of the Witches is fucking nightmare fuel and needs to be abolished!)? For the same reason again. Why not just possess the descendants then? Because that would limit the power that the Ancestral Witches can harness through the mortal bodies they've possessed (they'd need someone with strong and compatible powers (aka end of Magical Adventure) or to create their own bodies). It will even mix perfectly with Valtor's mark and what it does to people - it's a downgrade of their ability to possess people. Having them as incorporeal entities makes them more interesting because they have something to overcome too while at the same time it doesn't necessarily make them any less threatening. On the contrary, if played correctly, this could be a trump card. They can be everywhere, unable to directly influence events but lurking into every corner, seeing everything and pulling strings through the puppets they already do have (aka Valtor and their descendants). It would make them more interesting, plus, could kind of be a reason for how unsegregated their personalities are.
Anyway, canon version is cringefail. Not least of all because they got an ember of the Dragon Fire, made a living, breathing creature from it, looked at it and went "Hm, yeah, that's only good enough to be a tool." I'm starting to ask myself if the writers were projecting when they wrote the Ancestral Witches.

I'm on my way back from visiting Jess. And I had such a awesome day. Like seriously I could not have asked for a better Saturday with my best friend.
I slept a lot better last night. I did wake up a couple times. It was hard to fall asleep at first because sweet pea kept biting me and then I pushed him off the bed and I felt bad so I had to go downstairs and give him treats. But I was able to sleep until James left for work. They stopped and gave me a kiss and said goodbye and told me to be safe. I slept in until about 9:00.
When I woke up I texted Jess that I was going to leave at 9:40. And I took a couple extra minutes to wake myself up. I made the bed and it took my time. But I felt really good. I went and got dressed and I wore my new pretty dress that I plan on bringing to gonda. Kind of like as a test run. But it ended up being super comfortable and it stays up and doesn't shift around so I feel very good at it. I just wish it had pockets.
I warmed up one of the biscuits James made the other day and said goodbye to sweet pea and then I was on the road by 9:40. And it's a really nice ride. It's pretty easy. It's an hour 20 and hit any traffic. And I just listened to music and rolled up at Jess's house at 11:00.
She was at the door when I pulled up and we were waving at each other. And I was just so happy to see her. I texted James to let them know that I was safe and then we went inside and she showed me some of her house updates. Including where she pulled the carpet up to reveal the original hardwood. Which is very exciting. And I'm very jealous because I hate our carpets. And we would sit for a little while while she gave me some things that she collected. I brought my fake nose ring so she could try it because she's thinking about getting her septum pierced. And we talked about our plan for the day.
The plan was to go to flower farm to pick tulips. After that we decided we would go walk around the mall and then we would go to Costco and trader Joe's. And in there we would also have a couple meals. So our first stop was going to be brunch.
We took her car and we drove to a diner in swedesboro and it was really good. It was pretty busy but they sat us right away. And our waiter was nice. We got sandwiches and I told her all about the movie last night and we just caught up on stuff. Like we're text ing constantly but sometimes the nuance is lost. And it was just really nice to hear about the dates she's been on and me and James stuff and our plans and some of the Uganda things. And I just was having a wonderful time.
At the end of our meal I went to pay and they were having some Wi-Fi issues so Jess wanted to use the bathroom while we figured that out. And then after I paid I also used the bathroom. And then we drove to the farm. And it was great.
1.5 million flowers. That's what the paperwork said. And I believe it because it was crazy. Rose and Rose and Rose of tulips and daffodils. It was beautiful. And we decided we were going to get the 10 stems for $10 thing that they were doing. Jess wanted to get one of everything and I wanted to get a variety of the purple ones. I just thought that would be fun. So we walked up and down the road trying to pick the best ones and some of them were loud because they had bees inside of them. But it was just a lot of fun figuring out how you pulled them without pulling the bulb up. Just would end up pulling three bulbs by accident I only pulled one. And it was just a beautiful day. And even though there was a lot of people there I didn't feel like we were on top of anyone and while it was windy it was just really beautiful. And after we picked our flowers we would take some pictures and just be silly and sit at the picnic table and just enjoyed being outside.
You would walk over to the farm stand and they had a lot of peach cider products but nothing I was really interested in. Jeff says that the guy that was running the stand was flirting with her and I believe it. She's very cute. And then we went to pay and it was a child at the register which was very funny to me. And we went to find the car. Which was difficult. We struggled to find the car all day. We're not good at remembering where we parked.
Next we went back to the house because for the rest of the day we would take our own cars. It just made more sense because it was in the direction of home for me and we didn't want me to have to pack So we got back to the house and we spent like 45 minutes just chilling on the couch. Playing with Lady Bird. Drinking water. You're both really thirsty after the flower farm. Just surprisingly dehydrating activity. But we chilled for a bit and double checked that we were both still cool with our plan. And then it was time to go.
We both stuck around cars like I said and we drove to the Christiana Mall. I was mostly behind just for the whole time but I did lose her at one point but then I got up at her again and we were waving at each other being silly. And we parked near the Barnes & Noble so we had a pretty solid place to meet in case we didn't get lost. But it ended up being fine.
And man is it cool to go to a not dead mall. This mall was crazy. I haven't been to the small in a very long time. I think I have gone a few times like a decade and a half ago. But the parking lot was fullful and it was busy inside. And it was just so nice to experience that again. Because I was such a mall kid. Like that was my life when I was in high school. And it's the same for Jess so we get to reminisce and this was just a really good mom. And we were doing really good not to buying nonsense. We both did buy some stuff. She got a shirt and I got James a gift. It's a jacket. And I bought hand sanitizers about the bodyworks because I use those all the time now. Trying not to get sick again. And we both went to a special fancy candy shop where we did their fancy pick and mix. And we were very good about staying at our $10 limit. We were both under it.
And we also just had really nice interactions with people. In the stores people just be really nice. There was a baby that tried to hand me a lollipop and then there was a whole like little moment we had together. And we got to see the Easter Bunny. And we went in and out of every store that we were interested in and just telling stories and talking about stuff. We went and airy and I found a bathing suit I liked in the clearance section but they didn't have my size and I was a little bummed about it but that's okay. At least I know kind of know like somewhere I can look. Because I do want to get a new bathing suit this year. But it's not like a need need it's just something I want to look out for.
But we were having a great time. Looking at the calico critters at Barnes & Noble. Going in the Hot topic. Looking at toys and clothing and people. Being together. It was awesome. And once we felt like we had seen everything we wanted to see we decided it was time for dinner.
Just took me to a sushi place that she really enjoys. And I wasn't like particularly hungry. But I'm so glad we went. It was one precious. And two the food was really good.
our waiter Isaiah was very nice. But he brought the food all out very weird order. We ordered at a mommy to come first but it came last. But it was fine. We both got rice hand roll things that are kind of triangular and they both had avocado in them and were wrapped in seaweed. I would love to tell you what they're called but talk to text is not understanding what I'm saying so I'm not going to worry about that. And we also got edamame. And she got me so soup and salmon over rice. Which also has a name but text to talk to text will not write it correctly. So whatever. And then I got a coconut pudding drink. To go at the end it was so good. I told Jesse tasted like a fancy candle and she said that's disgusting. But it was really nice. And I was just having a great time watching people around us and eating my edamame and seeing what everybody else got over here in conversations and just having fun with just. It was great. We make each other laugh and it's a good time. And I said her at one point I'm just having such a nice day I'm having such a good time. And she was like I'm so glad that you're telling me how much fun you're having and if it was anyone else I would say that sounded sarcastic but I know she was being serious because we both like to tell each other when we're having fun. Plus we were both really excited that we were hanging out but we get to be in our own houses later which that is something we both struggle with I think when we have sleepovers is like I'm loving this but I would love to be home. So now that we're closer and we can do these day trips it makes everything just a little easier.
While we were sitting there I had decided that I wanted to go back for the jacket for James. Originally I was going to try to buy it online but then I saw the people were reselling it for like twice what it is in the store and it's not available in the size I wanted on the website. And they had given me a coupon when we were leaving so I was able to get the jacket for 25% off plus they took another $10 off for giving them my email. So I really felt like I won in the long run. though I did not like that we had two backtracking through them all and it was a little bit of a weird spot so we had to go like all the way back around. But whatever. It's not like we were in a rush to go anywhere.
Our next stop was to go to Costco. I told Jess I was excited because I haven't been to Costco in a very long time I thought it would be fun but she's like it is a very stressful. And she's not wrong. There was entirely too many people. But I did have fun. And she bought me a couple things. Including cookie bites that are thin mints. And some street corn dip. And a jam that's really tall. Like it's the jam that we normally buy except that I much larger container. So I'm very excited about that. And we got almost everything on her list. It was fun walking up and down the aisles and seeing all the weird stuff that they sell. There was even a couple things I would absolutely buy but I did not want to spend hundreds of dollars today. Like the screen door that retracts instead of being in the door all the time. But that can be something I investigate later. For now it was just really fun hanging out and doing chores with Jess. I'm so glad that we're able to do that now. That was something we always really enjoyed when we both lived at home with our parents in bucks county. In the end just would end up spending $350 at the Costco. But we were having a blast and she even got to use cell check it at the end. And while she was doing that I went to go wash my hands because I touched something very dusty. And while I'm a dirty gremlin person half the time I don't really want to have dirty Dusty hands.
Are very last stop would be trader Joe's. Just as a lot of her grocery shopping there it turns out because while all grocery stores have gotten expensive and trader Joe's has always been kind of expensive. Trader Joe's is kind of evened out because of all the other grocery stores being expensive in and out are pretty cheap comparatively. And she got two bags of groceries for like $60. So pretty sweet. And it was busy in there but I was having a lot of fun and the staff was really nice. That cashier flirted with just too. Though she says that that is a requirement to work at trader Joe's. She says that being flirty is part of the drop description. I don't know if that's true. But it was very funny when she said it. And I got two very fancy cheeses. One is lemon ricotta which just says people say taste like cheesecake. And I got a sweet heat cheddar that I think James is really going to like. And I got green tea mints and chai tea mints. And I tried to try tea so far and the cardamom is really nice and I don't always like cardamom because I think it tastes like Christmas. But maybe a sweet cardamon would be nice for me.
While we were paying just was telling the cashier that I was just visiting for the day and he was like all excited that our friendship has been able to exist over all the different distances that we've lived apart from each other. And it's just so true. And friendship really is all about the effort that both people put in. And we both put a lot of effort into this friendship. And I think that's just really lovely. I love my friendship with Jess and I love Jess. She's such a wonderful person. And when we were done at trader Joe's she drove me back to my car.
After I moved all my stuff that I purchased back to my car and saw that my tulips were a little wilted We hugged and I promise to tell her when I get home. And that's almost now. It started to rain on my drive back but it wasn't bad. I listen to a podcast and about 25 minutes ago started working on this post. I already had the document pulled up because I knew I would like to do this and finish it before I get home. And I am 1 minute from home now. Tonight I am going to put all my stuff away and hang out with my husband and then tomorrow's Easter. And I don't really have any plans. I kind of want to paint eggs. But I think we only have brown ones. We'll see. I'm not that concerned. I think it will be a really nice day. I hope that you all have a great night and you are taking care of yourselves. Happy Easter everybody. Good night.

Blog Post #13: Funeral Parade of Roses by Matsumoto Toshio
Well, this was certainly a goofy movie. I remember after watching the film that Professor Smith had shown us a clip from this film in our Japanese Culture class, so I’m glad that we actually had the chance to continue watching it all the way through, and really get to know the characters. It follows the story of Eddie, a transgender woman who works at a gay bar in Tokyo's underground scene. The film explores themes of identity, sexuality, and societal norms through experimental filmmaking techniques such as avant-garde editing and documentary-style interviews. This film was a very pivotal moment in redefining what was possible for cinema as it spurred a new generation of radically-minded filmmakers doing everything they could to express themselves. Eddie's journey intertwines with that of a young man named Gonda, leading to a tragic and visually stunning climax that left me quite speechless after watching it. The film is known for its bold portrayal of LGBTQ+ characters and its influential impact on Japanese cinema, what is evident in some of the great films it inspired, one being Stanely Kubrick’s “A Clockwork Orange.”
One thing that especially stood out to me in this film was Matsumoto’s ability to depict the complex identity of a transgender woman living in Japan. After Professor Smith’s lectures in Japanese Culture on the whole “gay-boy” subculture in Japan, I was quite curious to see how people of this marginalized group were able to survive in this society. The film portrays Eddie's complex journey of self-discovery and self-expression as she navigates Tokyo's underground LGBTQ+ scene. Through Eddie's experiences, the film delves into the challenges and complexities of transgender identity, including societal pressures, internal conflicts, and the search for authenticity and acceptance. I felt that Matsumoto’s directing choices really allowed viewers to look into the eyes of the protagonist and get behind the character’s mental state. I found myself being able to understand not only Eddie’s experiences, but more about the transgender identity in Japan as a whole. Matsumoto’s portrayal of Eddie was able to challenge traditional gender norms and explores the fluidity of gender identity, offering a thought-provoking exploration of transgender experiences in a time when such narratives were rarely depicted in mainstream cinema. I always love when film directors target a more controversial, and less-spoken about topic in cinema, so I greatly appreciated Matsumoto’s directing in that regard.
In terms of the directing, some scenes were definitely a little hard to watch. While I think the sex and the gore did add to the movie (as in it wasn’t unnecessary, some films like to do that), I did find myself thinking, this is really weird (my unprofessional thoughts). However, I love arthouse films so this was definitely a fantastic movie in the sense of the way it was directed and the overall weirdness I found myself to be quite a fan of.

Gonda is ever so slowly progressing; all of this roaning, except for the weird looking bits on his ears and muzzle, was done with a black Staedtler pencil crayon.
And damn, am I loving Staedtler! This is my first time using anything from this brand and I am really enjoying the nice hard lead which actually sharpens up to a really proper point. I'm used to Prismacolor crayons whose leads break constantly so this Staedtler pencil crayon is a freakin' dream.
The weird discolouration on Gonda's nose and ears is from me using a Tombow pen there - turns out Tombow ink doesn't adhere very well at all to Vallejo primer; lesson learned!
Next (after I finish roaning Gonda's right side,) I will be nicening up Gonda's coat with chalk pastels because it turns out that I am not as good at roaning hair by hair with pencil crayons as I am at rendering dapples that way. So, hopefully I can get him looking nice; right now I am in the phase of a piece where I kinda hate it a little but I am nudging myself onwards anyway because I know that if I can get past this fugly stage the piece'll be glorious when I am done!
Lady Blue.
Gonda is to be a dark blue roan when he is done, somewhat similar to a Breyer Stablemate that I previously customized, Lady Blue. He is a Breyer Cigar (Traditional scale thoroughbred,) that I have given an entirely new tail to as well as feathers, a forelock and some mane details. Gonda will not be for sale.
I'm really laser focusing my attention on Gonda at the moment because for my digital art I am waiting on new nibs for my Apple Pencil to arrive. Inking has been far too frustrating lately and I finally comprehended that the problem was my Apple Pencil's nib. You are apparently supposed to replace them every two years but I'm still using the same one from when I first got both my iPad Air and Apple Pencil four years ago. Oof.
This has made my pen pressure absolute shit. I've gotten by by 'carving' the ends of my lines with eraser but cat gods it's annoying, plus it takes longer than it should! So I am very eagerly awaiting those new nibs and hoping that they will solve the problem so that I can get back to producing Knife Edge happily.
☘️☘️☘️Happy Saint Patrick's Day!☘️☘️☘️

Hallucinogen
CW SELF HARM SUICIDE HALLUCINATIONS AND DELUSION
All in first person because it's just easier for me to write
But this is luca's backstory
.
.
.
.
I grew up with my father who also had schizophrenia.
He wasn't a bad father per say but he wasn't always there.
He refused to take his meds and he was always on edge about something. But he did love me.
He actually named me after him so he would call me hombruna growing up.
He was my only parent too. My mother wanted nothing to do with either of us... which... I get. He wasn't exactly a stable person even when he was okay so I understand being afraid of me being like that too...
I grew up in several places.
Mostly new Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma. I was always in and out of school because he would get so Paranoid about cps and the government that he'd move us to a new city or state at least once a year.
So I never was too social. I sucked at making friends and to be honest the only person I trusted was my dad.
He may have be Paranoid and drunk but I could rely on him to listen when I needed something.
I learned quick he wouldn't help me unless I asked for it, but I also was a pretty timid kid. I knew from the start he wasn't always able to help me. So learned how to fend for myself pretty quick.
But.
If I did approach him and ask for help, which I rarely did. He would be right there and do what he knew how.
Which often was either fight shit head on or... run.
Around 17 I started hallucinating too...
At first I could hide it but eventually I couldn't handle it
I tried to keep as much off his plate but... I broke one night I was so bad I'd cut myself pretty deep and I was scared. I'd never done anything this bad and so I showed my dad.
He was definitely freaked out to say the least. I finally broke it to him I was seeing and hearing things and that's when it hit him the worst
He had a pretty bad delusion that the government was out to get us.
And that they were putting things in his brain.
So when I started showing signs he thought they were doing the same to me...
He packed our bags pulled me out of school and we fled to Canada. Or at least we tried.
We drove and made it to Washington. We were so close but he'd just gotten worse.
I was just 18 at this point so I had no idea what to do. And with my own psychosis kicking off we just fed off eachother...
I had enough one night and I ran away. I would always go on longer walks while I was growing up so he didn't worry until about two days in... that's when he called me over and over.
My head was just so heavy I couldn't answer.
I got voicemail after voicemail
A few asking me to come home and that he was living for me....
I still haven't listened to them all.
Especially the last one he sent...
I just shut down.
He died that night and I blame myself for it.
After that I finally got help.
His funeral was covered by the homeless community I stayed with for a while.
As long as I stayed on my meds and got my ged they'd help.
And I did it. But I didn't stay that way.
I wasn't perfect.
I was so numb for most of it.
At first I thought it was because of his death but it just got worse.
My mind wouldn't work. So I finally figured it was my meds.
I stopped taking them. Stopped getting help from the homeless community. Started living on the streets
My hallucinations started again. And I lived like that around Washington for two years.
In and out of episodes, in and of jail for starting fights.
And almost went back when I had an episode in a park.
Thought the cops were gonna take me again.
And that's when I met gonda and taiyoshi.
They saved my ass... and that's where you meet me in the comic
