some short fluff gojo thoughts to cope with whatever that ending was

ᡣ𐭩 i like to think that gojo is a sickeningly sweet lover due to the sweet tooth he accidentally developed.
ᡣ𐭩 whenever you two kiss his lips always have a hint of sweetness in them due to him constantly eating sweets, and you enjoy the sweet taste.
ᡣ𐭩 gojo has a LOT of love to give, especially when it comes to you. he’s so passionate in his relationship with you and he won’t hesitate to show you how much he really loves you.
ᡣ𐭩 would most likely nickname you after sweets (cupcake, honey, sugar, cutie pie, etc) what a sweet talker (get it?)
ᡣ𐭩 he loves sweets, sure. but YOU are his most favorite, you’re way sweeter than any other dessert out there.

Hii, can you write about clingy sunshine Gojo x awkward grumpy reader who’s not used to touch or relationships and avoids him but he’s persistent and tries to get her comfortable around him.. imagine he’s like “hey it’s normal for friends to cuddle or kiss” and it’s him slowly trying to introduce her to a relationship with him.
Please feel free to ignore!!!….. also love your blogs💗💗💖💖
Okay I LOVE this idea
It just makes sense. and I will probably expand on the whole dynamic at a later time, because I fear I got a little too excited about this.
Gojo’s always busy with work, right? But somehow, he’s still the ultimate extrovert. The man has endless energy and absolutely needs to be touching someone at all times (golden retriever boyfriend vibes, 100%). So, it makes sense that he has this awkward, independent girlfriend who doesn’t need constant attention. Like, you’re perfectly fine chilling at the apartment while he’s off on missions. No loneliness, no clingy vibes—just peace and quiet to recharge.
But then, he comes home. And you know what’s about to happen. The second Gojo walks through that door, grumpy little you is getting scooped up and plopped onto his lap, whether you like it or not. He’s smothering you with kisses every twenty minutes, and you’re over here trying so hard not to snap at him. You’re just trying to vibe—playing your little games, doing your crafts, minding your business—and here comes Gojo, sprinting at you like a golden retriever who just heard the treat bag.
And then it’s, “I love my baby!” like clockwork. It’s cute… until it’s not. Because he’ll leave to do one thing, and then he’s back again, interrupting you with that same goofy energy. And what are you even supposed to do about it? Complain? He’ll just scoop you up again. He’s the strongest sorcerer, what are you gonna do—stop him?
Don’t even think about trying to avoid his affection. You’ll get tickled instead. “Babe, nobody wants to be tickled,” he’ll say, while absolutely tickling you to death. But secretly? You love it. Even if it’s annoying, you’d never trade those moments for anything. The dynamic just works: he gets to smother you with love, you get to recharge while he’s away, and somehow, you both make it work.
It’s chaotic. It’s sweet. It’s you two.
******
A/n: This is 100% going into my drafts for a later time because I just love the opposites attract concept. And as an introvert who married an extrovert, it works as long as both people are understanding. Gojo would be very understanding about it, he gets overstimulated all the time so I can imagine he enjoys hanging out at home after saving the world so many times.

Satoru Gojo character analysis (incomplete)
Happy late birthday, to the glorious blue eyed king.
Tumblr media
I can’t stop thinking about how a kid will latch onto the praise and expectations of the adults around them. And that’s what Gojo did. From the moment he was born, he was told he would be great. To be great is to be different; As a kid, Gojo was treated as a gift, a rarity, a power— his innate talents overshadowed the fact that he was a person. As a kid, he didn’t catch onto the latter (that he is as human as anyone else), instead learning that he was special, incomparable, honored. His innate abilities coupled with how everybody saw him doomed Gojo to be shaped as a weapon. Can you blame Gojo for centering his personality around being the strongest? During the infamous fallout scene, Geto called Gojo out, playing on the concept of nature vs nurture, when he said, “Are you the strongest because you’re Satoru Gojo? Or are you Satoru Gojo because you’re the strongest?” Geto was essentially pointing out that the talents that Gojo was born with took on a huge defining role in who Gojo is as a person, which is to say, he’s powerful. And Gojo prides and defines himself on his strength. What did that leave room for? Certainly not human connection, introspection, or self expression— all things necessary to connect deeply with yourself, and others. Gojo was reduced to being strong, and only that. And when you’re strong, set apart from the rest, and praised for it, it’s not natural to think of yourself as the same as others. Being the strongest— such a position is inherently isolating. Because of his innate abilities, Gojo did not have much control over who he would become. (See: soft determinism definition for a philosophical explanation).
It’s important to note that Gege said that Gojo’s personality was his greatest strength. I believe he said this because it’s Gojo’s personality that lets him a) tap into his abilities that make him so strong in the first place, and b) handle the responsibility and isolation that comes with his position. In early life, Gojo was surrounded by an overbearing clan, without siblings, and without friends, and told that he was the chosen one who restored the balance of the world, as his mere existence caused curse users to retreat into the shadows— According to his own family and the Jujutsu Higher Ups, Gojo’s mission was to train, gain control over his abilities, and hone his skills. He did so, throwing himself into his training and mastering the tricky Six Eyes gift by reading old texts of his own will, training himself. Gojo was treated as a goal by his own family, and he never got a childhood or knew the warmth of a loving home. He never socialized with other humans. He didn’t get to run around and play. He didn’t ever see other children his age cry or smile. Rather, a huge responsibility was placed on him. Gojo never broke under the pressure. He was ambitious, and strong. He could train without having the normal human needs of socialization, acceptance, and love, fulfilled. He was conditioned to focus on being a weapon, capable and strong in battle, leaving no room for the autonomy of thinking and wishing for a life beyond sorcery. Who needs acceptance when you have already been defined, and you fulfill that role? What Gege said about Gojo’s personality being his greatest strength, it takes a certain kind of person to carry such responsibilities, and live isolated, without the need to break free from such mental, emotional, and physical confines. Gojo could do this, and thus, Gojo lived without human connection for most of his life (Geto and Gojo’s students being the sole exceptions), standing tall and strong— and alone. Another point: Gojo stated that he had trouble connecting to people. Everyone, to some degree, craves human connection, and needs it to thrive. In order to connect with others, we need vulnerability. So why could Gojo succeed even without his best friend in his life? His innate talent and intensive training had conditioned him against vulnerability in all senses— identity and strength wise. But this isn’t enough— most people would still break had they been in Gojo’s shoes. It’s Gojo’s personality that allows him to uphold himself, stay strong, and keep fighting for his mission, as we went over. It is as if an essential pathway going from the outside world to the heart, is blocked, shut off in Gojo. If you are to be the strongest, then you do not have the right to needing human connection to survive.
Gege stated that Gojo’s greatest weakness was also his personality. The very thing that allowed Gojo to become the strongest is what isolated him. That conditioning into being the strongest, along with his natural aloofness and insensitivity towards the emotions of others, created a roadblock in how Gojo connected with people. Gojo’s eyes were always trained on strength, creating a lens of “people are either strong, or weak.” The audience can see that when Gojo is 17 and arrogant, complaining about having to protect the weak. For Gojo, his entire world was jujutsu. While not heartless (we see him save regular people), Gojo had no idea how to talk to anybody, no idea how to care about anybody who wasn’t in a situation he was familiar with. As a teenager, Gojo is not the kindest soul (and this isn’t to fault him, as most teens aren’t the kindest person at that stage in life). Gojo makes callous comments that reflect his lack of sensitivity for others, such as asking Geto, “You think we’ll be blamed if the kid died from that?” (Gojo’s later behavior towards Ijichi is also telling, and it was stated that he does not realize how deeply he irks Utahime). At 17 years old, Gojo is simply doing the mission as the Higher Ups demand, without thinking much beyond that. He thinks of himself, how the mission affects him and him only. He even states that moral arguments are what people say to make themselves feel better. It’s clear that Gojo is not passionate and dedicated to their mission, not in the way Geto was (only for Geto to become disillusioned, see my Suguru Geto Character Analysis here). One could argue that Gojo’s weakness is that he isn’t innately empathetic, as he did not pay much attention to his or anyone else’s needs and feelings, which, while necessary for him to become the strongest solider, had also led to him living a life he didn’t choose, and without much ability for human connection. However, we do see moments in which Gojo does indeed connect with people through play (ie with Geto, Riko, Yuuji), and in these rare moments he may feel enough emotion to make decisions that go against the cold logic of Jujutsu Society, such as when he refuses to sleep, letting Riko have her last day of youth at the beach in Okinawa. Another key instance of this is when Gojo lets Geto walk away from KFC without killing him. (Before y’all attack me, please remember that 1) I am giving an evidence-based analysis, and 2) this isn’t to say that Gojo is a bad guy. Just because somebody is not deeply sensitive does not make them bad. Gojo is not a villain by any means. He does good things).
It wasn’t until a bit later on in life, after seeing his best friend defect, when Gojo gained another lens: that of protecting the youth from a corrupt system built on old traditions and child soldiers. Gojo’s new mission was one that his kid self, and all his peers, had needed. And that, that was the mission that Gojo dedicated himself to. —Adult Gojo’s way of caring for others was either through teaching them what he had learned himself (Jujutsu), or protecting/saving them in battle. He was never exposed to problems beyond his own, and he’s unfamiliar with the lives and feelings of “normal people.” Seeing strong and talented youth was something that made Gojo happy, as stated by Gege. Gege also stated that Gojo saved Megumi because Megumi was strong. Gojo’s craving for human connection does exist and come out— and we see it in the students he teaches. The anger that Gojo felt when Yuuji first died was potent, and real, as well. Where Gojo’s best friend dedicated himself to stopping “root” of curses out of trauma, a feeling of helplessness (the system was broken, and so was Geto at that point), and anger— Gojo dedicated himself to saving the youth by teaching them to become strong enough to save themselves by creating change that he couldn’t do by himself (without killing all the non sorcerers). Jujutsu Kaisen is a story that takes place during a time of war and change. Gojo, while ultimately a King with the power of a Queen piece, was still a pawn on the chessboard, seen and used as a weapon on the board of Jujutsu Society, in a war of sorcerers vs curses.
NOTE: This is an incomplete, disorganized analysis, and by no means a proper essay. I will rewrite it when I read JJK front to back and sit with the story for a bit. NTS: power and strength, and what it takes (self experience) + allows for, is not focused on nearly enough in this analysis
NOTE 2: I WELCOME discussion! Have something more to say? Disagree with a point I’ve made? Comment below, but please try to do so with the same or higher level of thought and consideration I’ve put into my post. I am not here to argue, rather, I’m here to chat and hear what others think and why, and hopefully learn a thing or two, so long as you’re not preaching while blatantly mischaracterizing or being hostile/rude/cruel, as such remarks will only get you the idiot hat for the day.

Just thinking about how...
Gojo is the epitome of the “don’t rush me, Katie. I’m--just not ready.” audio going around Tiktok from Monsters vs. Aliens.
He’s cocky and smug and teasing but as soon as your hands start moving down his strong torso, fingers nimbly beginning to unbutton his pants he’s going to become the biggest nervous wreck you’ve ever seen.
Why?
Thank you for asking I will elaborate.
I personally believe he’s only been with a small handful of people intimately.
Most sorcerers view him as this untouchable weapon that they want to use and control.
Its also my belief that a lot of sorcerers might be too scared of him to even try to approach him in that way if at all.
Non-sorcerers are an opinion I think he probably explored once but after that once never went back because non-sorcerers and him are just too different.
Sorcerers and him are just too different.
There was only one person in his life who understood--who wasn’t too different, but that person turned into a mass-murdering cult leader.
Gojo wants people to think he’s this super charming sex god.
When in reality he spends half his time outside of work locked in his room, listening to sad girl music and shoving his face full of sweets while he continues to think about and pine after Geto.
I half think he wouldn’t even want to know the person's name.
But the other half of me thinks he would want to know your favorite color and the name of your first pet before he even thinks about going to the bedroom with you.
Honestly, I think Gojo’s walls, while very flashy and fun, are very tall and very thick and it takes a lot to even get a peek behind them.
He’s been treated differently his whole life.
Treated poorly because most think words couldn't possibly hurt him.
And on top of all that, had his heart broken by someone he cared for and trust deeply.
So being intimate with someone is something I think he struggles with.
A “do they just want to sleep with me cause I’m the strongest” and “What if I get attached” mindset type of guy.
Gojo was hesitant to get into a serious relationship with you.
You had to fight tooth and nail for a long time to win a place in his heart.
So when you feel his muscles tense and hear him begin to talk on and on about literally anything and everything under the sun, you take a pause.
Give him a comforting space to talk about his fears and anxieties.
If you care about him even a smidge, and you care about him so much it hurts, you’ll let him initiate.
You’ll wait for him to be ready and when he is I pinky promise it’ll have been worth it.

What I rly want to know is why Gojo doesn't cover his eyes sometimes. [manga spoilers ahead ig, self harm mention]
After he awakened with RCT in the hidden inventory arc, he went out to reclaim Riko's body without them. Maybe they broke during his fight with Toji, idk.
But after he leaves the prison realm, Gojo never covers his eyes again.
My main thought was that it's out of hypervigilance. He won't let his guard down, even if it hurts. Maybe he needs specific glasses /fabric (I think Gojo has sensory issues).
Maybe he felt fine without them when he learned RCT, and he seemed pretty high then anyway so I don't think that time rly needs to have a solid explanation.
But after leaving the prison realm, he rly looked different. Maybe it's in part from Gege's art style change, or the awakening of so many sorcerers during the culling game. People say he was always that muscular, just was covered by clothes but I disagree. His facial structure is wider, we saw his skeletal collarbones at least during the flashback in the yasohachi bridge arc (which happened after the exchange event, so not that long ago). I guess what I'm saying is that Gojo changed since getting sealed, and I'm not sure in what ways. I think that seeing Kenjaku in Geto's body altered his mind too.
Maybe he's doing it as a form of self harm. Like when Sukuna switched back with Yuuji in Shibuya, the first thing he did was scrape his fingertips on the street and tear them apart. Which he knew would be painful from the detention center, he hardly reacted to losing a hand but lost it when the other was burning away from the fingertips, which are rly sensitive. Whether to cover one pain with another or try to punish the shortcomings out of themselves, I'm not sure, but would guess that it's both.
That seems like the most likely answer. And now. I'm sad. Again
Anywayyyy Gojo Satoru do you no longer get headaches? Pls explain
EDIT TO ADD:
I think now that it was to practice running RCT stronger than usual. He'd need to do that for the fight with Sukuna.
Before I thought it would have been better for Gojo to not wear himself down leading up to it. Especially when as far as I remember, he's surrounded by capable sorcerers whenever we see him. It isn't like Gojo needs to protect anyone so intensely that he can't wear anything over his eyes.
Edit 2: updated since Gojo's schedule has come out

I can't see Gojo ever getting involved in a romantic relationship, I feel like he believes he has a bigger purpose in life and he doesn't have time for romance. (He's gravely afraid of losing another person because he's not strong enough to save them.) With being the strongest comes a heavy burden that he has to carry, a price he must pay and he's ready to sacrifice his personal life for the greater good. (What good is it to be the strongest when you can't even save your loved ones.)

my idea of satoru's infinite — everyone at the mercy of it literally is being fed the interworkings of the universe all at once to the point of death, which is why I feel the flashes of random images would work better than them just standing in utter horror, because some workings of the universe cannot be explained by words
seeing as satoru's can have it so that infinite void doesn't affect people he's touching: it would be insane to look at uv from jogo's persepctive, or maybe even earlier than that — a special grade curse that satoru is particularly not fond of that dies slowly in his domain: flashed with jumbles of pictures and information that doesn't make sense and his brain cannnot form nearly enough neurons to combat the rapid increase of knowledge at the same time: he's learning things he cannot explain. he can see the beginning of the universe and by the time he may think he's come to something, he is dead.

gojo brain rot i see 👀
ecksplayne
Just imagine going to a concert with Gojo. You are so excited, you’ve been wanting to see this performance for SO long! But when it begins you can’t even see over the people in front of you. You struggle to stand in your tip toes but before you can even say anything, Satoru is on his knees beside you, helping you into his shoulders. He hoists you up like it’s nothing and holds you the whole time.
But it becomes difficult to pay attention when he’s kissing the inside of your thighs ever few minutes and his hands caress and grip against your legs.
Suddenly you don’t wanna be at the concert anymore and you grind yourself against the back of his neck.

bringing this back to the dash bc i want to make sure none of u EVER forget that gojo is not silly, gojo is SCARY
sometimes when you see gojo being serious, raising his voice, unleashing his power and wrath, using his authority, and leaving no mercy for anyone who crosses his path, you feel conflicted by the unfamiliar sight--that's not the man you know.
seeing your surprised face, he says, "i think you tend to forget the exceptions i've made for you"

Also Satoru giving his little munchkins a childhood, parent care and love, that he haven't had at all 🥹
~🩺
exactly!!!!!! satoru was taken care of physically as a child, but never emotionally. everyone was so distant from him, his only redeeming quality to any of them being the six eyes and infinity ct. so he wants it so different from his own kids - he wants them to know absolutely nothing but unconditional, overwhelming love from their parents in the way he never had

Ahhh, student!Satoru, who's leaning into the palm of his hand, mouth concealed behind his pale hand, eyes stuck on you. And they've been stuck on you ever since he saw you first walk up the steps into Jujutsu Tech. Bright blue. Heart quivering. Fixed gaze.
He takes any excuse to be near you, even though he knows that you're annoyed by him — he's so cocky and full of himself. But don't you see that he's also just a lovesick boy? Look at the way he follows after you down the halls, long striding legs effortlessly meeting your quick pace.
You're just trying to get a cold soda from the vending machine after a long two hours of practicing martial arts with Satoru, Suguru and Shoko. And since Shoko promptly left with Suguru for a cigarette break, that left an overjoyed Satoru alone with you.
"Which flavor do you usually get?" he asks, grasping at any conversation starter he can think of. He just wants to talk to you, even if it's about something so dumb... even if it's while stood next to a vending machine.
"Uh, strawberry... it's my favorite."
He takes a mental note of that.
He's always trying to get your attention, even if he has to become a fool in order to earn a glance from you. Walking away, looking dumb, even his best friend shakes his head at him and tells him that he's way too downbad for a girl that doesn't even like him back.
But Satoru doesn't listen to anyone when they say that you don't like him back. He knows the chemistry is there, as awkward as it may be sometimes. He knows there's something connecting him and you, like an invisible thread.
He still brings you gifts on V-day. He still pesters you in class. He still shares one earbud with you on train rides. He still gets that accelerated heart beat when you so much as graze your hand over his while walking side-by-side.
So eagerly looking at your lips, Satoru pulls out lip balm and makes eye contact with you while applying it. He's always got chapped lips, he knows because someone made exactly 1 comment about it and now he's never forgotten to put a lip balm in his pocket.
"Whatchya starin' at my lips for? You wanna have a taste of strawberry?" he winks, puckering his kissable lips at you.
"Ough..." you cringe at him, "Satoru, it's no wonder you're single."
Okay, he has zero flirting skills. But he earns a smile out of you right then, so even if he's cringe, he's surely doing something right. Are the cogs turning in your head? Do you think he's cute? Do you want to kiss him should he lean into a kiss oh he's leaning into a kiss now aaand he nearly falls flat on his face, because you didn't notice that he was leaning in for a kiss and now he just has to play it off and look like a dumbass once again.
His feelings grow exponentially as the years pass.
You're always catching him staring and he doesn't even feel ashamed.
Though it's been on his mind all the time, it's not until after three years of knowing you that Satoru kisses you.
It happens one day during heavy rainfall. He runs to you with a grin, no umbrella, totally soaked, and like a bright-eyed bunny he bounces at your side.
He's unzipping his uniform jacket, hanging it over the two of you. The proximity has his heart thumping. Before he knows it, he's leaning down to kiss you, right there as the two of you are concealed from the world in your own little bubble — in reality, everyone knows that you two are liplocking under Satoru's jacket. Duh. His shoes click on the ground as he repositions himself, bending his knees and arching down to meet your lips, 'till his spine gets angry at him for falling for a short girl.
