Redneck West Virginia

West Virginia does not take being called a redneck as an insult, because he uses the original meaning of the word from Blair Mountain. 

He used to wear an actual red handkerchief around his neck, but had to stop during the Cold War after Kentucky, Virginia, and Dep. Ed. begged him to. 

Speaking of the Cold War. Wes continually clashed with Wisconsin. And Wisconsin, led by Joseph McCarthy and McCarthyism, reported Wes to the government agencies many times. Thanks to Dep. Ed, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania none of these reports were able to stick him on a list for long term. 

Up until Wes, tired that Gov would not approve a budget for him to fix a bridge in Vulcan, West Virginia . So Wes wrote to the Soviet Union to ask for assistance. Which was actually received and representatives were sent over. 

Once the US Gov found out, they did approve the money for the bridge. But that stunt got Wes put on CIA’s list permanently. And he has not made any efforts to get removed from it. 

Whenever CIA reminds him, Wes just shows him the state of his shape.
