Jet Jaguar - a heroic robot made by Japanese inventor, Goro Ibuki. It made its first debut in the 1973 Toho film, "Godzilla vs. Megalon". It was able to grow and change its size in order to assist Godzilla in the battle with Megalon and Gigan.

The most iconic thing that I remember about this character was the cheesy theme song that went along with it...The 70's were an interesting time in kaiju film making.

The new Godzilla vs. Megalon short is worth another watch, as Toho went back and added English subtitles. They're not good subtitles (was the person who translates Godziban and Godzilla Island unavailable?), but they'll clear up a few things.

This art was heavily influenced by @diloph 's really funny tags/reblog and @whoatherebigguy 's awesome art. (SO sorry that I tagged you two. Just tell me if you don't want to. I completely understand. I just wanted to credit you for the funny idea!) I saw the art again and this idea popped in my head! It was 1am and I really wanted to draw something Godzilla related :]

Maybe these disguises will work this time! (Probably not lol)

I've also really wanted to draw two other characters with Gigan and Megalon because they remind me of eachother for some reason. I've been really wanting to do it but I've been suffering artblock lol 🥲
