Flowerworks
Pairing: Namjoon x Fem!Reader
Rating: M (SFW)
Genre: Exes; pure angst; fluff
Warnings: a lot of angst; pining; meet-cute; suggestive language; missed opportunities; vague infidelity
Word count: 4,241 words
Summary: “The love you had in your past...unfinished, untested, lost love...seems so easy, so childish to those who chose to settle down. But it’s actually the purest, most concentrated stuff.”
A/N: This story was inspired by an anthology series that I had binged while I had Covid back in January this year. For a while, I've been wanting to do a rendition of that but I wasn't sure which member to 'cast.' But Indigo has such a great inspiration so I've revisited this draft and thought Namjoon would be the perfect angsty main character here. Also, Kelly Price's rendition of As We Lay was a good inspo for this as well, except it's got none of the spicy stuff and you're left with all angst!
A/N2: I've never been to the UK or Europe 🤡 so a lot of this is just talking out of my ass hoping it would make for an interesting backdrop. I apologize for any geographical inaccuracies. This isn't the first time I've mentioned Juan Luna in my fics--I just thought, wouldn't it be cool if Namjoon studied Filipino impressionists🤪. Anyway, hope the story still lands! 💙
“Thank you so much for the presentation, Dr. YLN. It was so refreshing to hear a new take on a subject that’s so rarely…uhm, what’s the word…”
“Discussed? Thought of?” You finish their sentence for them. You smile warmly at a young journalist who was covering your lecture as part of a feature piece they were doing for a magazine. After the program ended, they decided to come up for a side conversation.
“Yes, that’s right,” the journalist says. “Your perspective is so fascinating to me. I mean–when we were in grade school, these lessons were just so repetitive and boring. It’s practically a bird course,” they chuckled.
“Right, because you’re supposed to just fly right through it?” You joked. You, too, had that impression when you were much younger.
“Your research style is so much more interesting. I was elated to find out that you’re the historical consultant on that ‘Ilustrados’ series!”
You tried your best to stay humble but deep down, you were still pinching yourself about getting to work with a major studio and top-tier production team. “I saw it as a great opportunity for us history and literature majors to flex a little, you know?” Then you caught yourself and laughed. “Oh my god, that sounded so nerdy,” you flushed.
“Not at all! Don’t be too modest,” they giggled. “I think it’s great that we get to give stories like this a new angle.”
You smiled and mouthed your thanks.
“I’m curious, do you remember what or who inspired you to pursue history as one of your fields of expertise?”
You grew flustered then blew out a quick breath. “Wow, uhm…nobody’s ever asked me that!”
“I don’t have to include it,” the journalist adds.
Your brows furrowed. “Include what?”
“That story that’s written all over your face,” they say with a knowing look.
“Oh, well…I think I’ve always been on track to study literature in some shape or form. That was my chosen major in college. Pursuing a career in history, however…was a happy accident,” you recall fondly.
They smiled excitedly. “Please tell me more,” they urged.
You stifle a grin. It was one of, if not the most unforgettable time in your life. If you could ever capture lightning in a bottle–that was the moment to do it.
You began, “He was an art history major spending a year in France while I was a language and literature major spending a semester in London. I met him while on holiday at a cafe in Paris–”
“Hang on! I think I’ve heard this story before!” They interject.
You give them a confused look. Up until this moment, you’ve only spoken about him to your former flatmate and a couple of close friends. “Y-you have?” You ask slowly.
They let out a soft chuckle. “I’m sorry, I’m kidding! Is that real?”
You laughed. “Yes, yes it is!”
“You know, most people are like–we met in college, lost touch for a while, then ran into each other on the street years later and had coffee.”
“Well…it does sound like quite the Hallmark movie plot, huh? The place we were at was certainly the perfect backdrop for it,” you smiled at the memory. “But, as unbelievable as it sounds, if it weren’t for him sparking my…” You cleared your throat, “...Enthusiasm in the subject and history in general–I wouldn’t be in this position today.”
It was indeed a serendipitous time in Paris, which began as a casual encounter over drinks, then eventually led to hours of exploring historic art districts with him. The day trips around the city certainly brought your interest in history to a whole different level.
“W-what happened to him?”
You shrug your shoulders. “After my break, I had to return to London. He wanted to come with me but he had some travel commitments with his fellow students. We agreed to meet at my place but–it just…didn’t work out for some reason.”
The journalist listened intently, indulging you in your story.
“I don’t know what happened. I thought we had a great connection. I mean, wasn’t that as perfect an opening to a relationship that you can get? Back then, I would go back and forth trying to think about how different it felt for me than it did for him.”
For a moment, you felt yourself slip again. But as you had done for the past several years, you smiled and shook your head to brush the memory aside to lock it away. Then, at your most vulnerable, you can unpack it again. You wave them off, “Anyway, that was such a long time ago, though!”
“How long?” They ask curiously.
“10 years,” another voice answered.
For that fraction of a second, your heart drops to your stomach, and you’re afraid to look up. This has to be another figment of your imagination. Still, you couldn’t help thinking about the times you wished to hear that voice again.
The journalist steps aside to clear the path. You finally peer up, blinking a few times to assure yourself that this was real.
There he was, standing in front of you–your lightning in a bottle…Namjoon. He had the biggest smile on his face and it was just as warm and bright as you remember it.
Suddenly feeling that they’ve intruded in a special moment, the journalist excuses themself and thanks you for the lovely conversation, promising to send you the initial draft of their feature via email.
As stunned as you were, you managed to string some words together. “I can’t believe it’s really you.”
“Hello, YN,” Namjoon greeted you as he moved closer.
“H-hi.” You were shocked to hear how calm your voice sounded when all you wanted to do was melt into a puddle.
You both stand in front of each other not knowing whether to shake hands or hug. Before you knew it, you were throwing your arms around his neck to embrace him. You feel his warmth envelop you, hearing him sigh faintly into your hair.
“It’s been a long time,” you say after pulling away. “Weren’t we supposed to meet in London?”
//FLASHBACK
When you met in Paris, he was only one of the handful of patrons who spoke English at the cafe. You don’t know how exactly your conversation began, but he started spouting some facts about craft beer as opposed to wine–and tried to convince you that one was better than the other.
After a few spirited arguments, you agreed to settle things…back at his flat, which was a block away from the cafe. Your worked out your differences in opinions in bed, eventually agreeing to disagree after he made you orgasm.
He later confessed that the spontaneous debate was a pickup tactic from him. He thought he was being clever but never expected you to offer up some valid points. But you told him that you thought he was cute so you were all-too-willing to be reeled in anyway.
Though you were on break, he was in the middle of his school term and had to spend time traveling within the city to check out recommended sites to fulfill his course requirements.
He invited you to come with him on a day trip to check out the former studio of an artist who turned out to be instrumental in their home country's rebellion. You were apprehensive but came with an open mind--and you never regretted it.
You spent the evening at his place once more...and a few more times after that. Your favorite thing was waking up next him in the mornings, exchanging innocent kisses in bed that always escalated to the point where one or both of you would end up moaning each other's name.
But when you weren’t in bed, you spent many hours just talking. He was so passionate about his studies as much as you were about yours. The way he spoke about art, its origins, and inspirations was so reverent, it was fascinating to experience a drop of his enthusiasm.
The day you had to return to London was difficult, not just for you but for him, too. He and a few of his fellow students were supposed to travel to Rouen and spend a few days there to check out some impressionist exhibits recommended by their teacher. He planned to take the ferry to visit you right after.
When you arrived at the train station, he noticed that he lost his phone somewhere between the ride from his flat to this point. You dug into your bag and retrieved an old receipt where you wrote your number and address down. He took it and slid it in between his book that he carried with him. Then, on the week that you were supposed to meet, the borders shut down.
//END FLASHBACK
“I’m sorry I’m late.”
“Mm-hm…you better be,” you respond wryly.
He rubbed at the back of his neck sheepishly. “I, uh…missed my alarm then, got caught up in the border lockdown. Before I knew it, I was stranded in Normandy for a bit before the school managed to make arrangements to get us back to Paris then back home.”
You’ll never forget it, since you, too, were stuck in a foreign land so far away from family.
“How come you never called?” It was a question that niggled at you for years.
He chewed at his bottom lip helplessly. “In the midst of all the chaos, I misplaced my book–the one where I kept that receipt where you wrote down your information.”
That all sounded too easy and far-fetched. But in the week that you spent with him, it wasn’t that hard to believe. He nearly left his passport behind at the bar that first night before going back to his flat; Once, he got off at the wrong stop after mixing up north and southbound trains.
You sighed. “Well…you’re here now. That’s all that matters, right? How did you know I’d be here?”
He smiled wistfully. “I saw your picture in one of our e-newsletters I get at work,” he answers. “I normally send those straight to my trash but something told me that I needed to take a look at it and…I’m sure glad that I did.”
That made your heart flutter. You made a mental note to thank the university’s Communications team for convincing you to do a headshot to promote the lecture series.
“Do you live around the area? Are you local?”
He shook his head gently. “No. I made the trip out here because I wanted to come see you.”
Your mouth falls open at his confession. “O-oh.”
“I wondered if I could take you out for dinner? There’s a bistro that I passed not too far from here. U-unless…you’ve already eaten–”
You snorted loudly then interjected, “Oh, please–you know I could always eat!” He laughs hysterically.
******
“Have you ever gone back?”
His eyes flick up at your question but the look he gave told you that you didn’t need to clarify it further.
“Mm-hm,” he answered affirmatively before adding, “Not as often as I’d like, though. And you?”
“Yeah,” you reply. “Actually, a year after travel restrictions eased up, I went back right away.”
His eyebrows lifted. “Really?”
You nod and look at him enigmatically. “I went straight to Villa Dupont.”
Remembering the area so clearly, his lips twitch at the thought. “Luna’s atelier?”
You nodded again. He sat back on his chair then interlocked his fingers behind his neck before he tilted his head against them. “Wow. That’s…amazing!”
“What can I say? That’s where my career started,” you quipped.
“And here I was, thinking that I was such an idiot for taking this beautiful girl on the most boring, mind-numbing walking tour of Asian impressionist artists.”
You both laughed, but those walks with him were one of the best memories of your time there.
“Anyway, I came back a few more times after that for my doctoral dissertation. And now here I am, giving lectures on it.”
The look on his face showed pride and admiration. All those hours you spent talking, you both shared your dreams and hopes for the future. You both had your head in the clouds…just two kids trying to justify the relevance of your respective liberal arts programs.
“That’s amazing. Consider me envious,” he says in jest. “You’re traveling around the world…and living your dream.”
You wave him off. “It’s not so glamorous. These days, I’m happy if I get to squeeze in some personal time. Usually, I get to a place, spend most of my time working and…” Your eyes drift down to your left hand, picking up your drink, “...then I have to get back to my family.”
He follows your line of vision. It wasn’t the first time he’s clocked in the piece of jewelry you’ve worn for a number of years now. He noticed it when you took the menu from the host after they sat you down at your table.
He hadn’t asked about it then, nor did you ask him about the ring that he wore on his finger when he moved his wine glass to the edge of the table when the server returned to pour him a glass of red wine.
You cleared your throat. “So, what else have you been up to these days? Are you just calling up former lovers?” You teased him.
A low laugh rumbled within his chest. “I’ve only ever had one former lover,” he held up one finger and stared. It was so unnerving, you had to break eye contact first. “Then, I got married. Really quickly…to the first girl that I met a year after I got back from France.”
You couldn’t hide the shock written all over your face. “Wow,” you managed to say. “That’s…” You try to think of a word that didn’t sound too reproachful.
“Crazy? Impulsive? Yes. I was really young and I thought the world was ending. I just didn’t want to lose anybody again.” he trailed off.
You and your husband were together for five years before you even thought about getting married. Maybe you were unconsciously holding out hope that you’d run into Namjoon again.
You swallowed the lump in your throat and smiled sadly at the thought, but that was quickly interrupted by the server bringing your dinner to the table.
******
You go through the rest of dinner talking about your most recent work and him sharing some of his more recent projects. When the server returns to dish out your plates, they ask about dessert. Namjoon declined but immediately looked at you.
“Oh, no thank you,” you declined politely.
Namjoon’s eyes widened in disbelief. “Who are you? I could have sworn that moelleux au chocolat was calling your name,” he teases, remembering your favorite treat that you indulged in while you were together.
“Shut up,” you laughed. “We’re not 21 anymore. You can’t…eat chocolate cake just like that.”
“Not even in bed?” The soft crinkle in his eyes deepened as he smiled cheekily.
You try to put aside those memories of chocolate and him. You cock a serious eyebrow at him, his expression unchanging. “Nope, not even in bed.”
You fall silent for a bit. Then he asks, “How many kids do you have?”
“Two girls. You?”
“I have a son,” he answers.
“Must be blissful to just have one,” you commented, polishing off your wine.
“Oh, trust me,” he says, picking up the bottle to pour you another glass but you hold your hand up, feeling like you’ve had more than enough for the night. “He’s still a handful, though.” he laughs, proceeding to empty out the rest of the bottle’s contents into his glass.
“But he’s my handful, so…” he trailed off, setting the empty wine bottle on the table.
“Are you and your wife still together?” You thought maybe the question was out of line but curiosity was getting the best of you.
His expression turns wistful. “We live under the same roof, let’s put it that way. She’s a great woman, a good mother. And I don’t deserve her.”
You smiled sadly at him, then stared at him silently. You begin to question why you even decided to come with him. Perhaps it was all a big mistake.
And yet, even though it's been so long, your memories of him were so incredibly vivid that you could just reach your hand out and you'd feel them. Feel him.
“What are we doing here, Namjoon? Why did you show up at my lecture? What did you hope to achieve?”
“Honestly?” His eyes flicked downward and he began to fidget with a loose thread on the table cloth.
“When I found out that you’d be in town, I booked a room within five minutes.” He chuckled. “I didn’t even care if the rate was ridiculous…”
Then, his gaze lifted back to your face. “I was hoping that we could pick up where we left off."
Your hand instinctively clutches at your chest. Your heart was beating so fast, you were afraid that it would just burst out of it.
"For 10 years, I imagined what our life would have been like. And if I ever saw you again, would I feel the same way about you? Would you feel the same way about me?”
You purse your lips and lean in closer. “You didn’t need to book a hotel room to find out if we still love each other…” You paused, then gave him a small smile. “Because clearly, we still do.”
His lips curved into a smile and the dimples in his cheeks grew deeper.
“For 10 years…Just the idea of you, knowing that you existed and that you were in my life…I held onto those memories and they got me through some tough times.” Your throat tightens but right before your tears fall, he reaches across the table, holding his hand out, beckoning you to put your hand in it.
After some hesitation, you acquiesce. He gives it a gentle squeeze, then brings it up to his lips to kiss it. “C’mon, let’s get out of here.”
******
You took a leisurely walk by the avenue and into a small pub a few blocks away. You shared a few more drinks and stories. For hours, you caught up with each other’s lives.
You excitedly talk to him about your new television project while he enthusiastically describes recently studying works by the late Yun Hyong Keun, even developing a friendship with his family.
Art was Namjoon’s pride and joy. His eyes, though the corners were now wrinkled with laugh lines several years later, still lit up the same way when he talked about his passions and the things that he loves.
When one pub closed, you moved into another. And when that closed, you moved your conversation to a park bench, right outside of your hotel by the waterfront.
It was a little after 5:30AM and daylight was breaking through the horizon. Most of the town’s commercial avenue was still asleep, save for the cafes that were gearing up for a new day for early-morning patrons.
When you sat down next to him, he lifted his arm up, inviting you to sidle up closer to him. And you did. You basked in his warmth and rested your head against his chest. You caught a whiff of him…cinnamon and coffee mixed in with faint traces of lavender-scented fabric softener. Even though you felt fatigue set in, you couldn’t close your eyes. You crane your neck up to find him sitting still with eyes closed while the sunrise kisses his face. Now, how could you possibly miss that?
******
You head back into the hotel and go up to your respective rooms only to retrieve your things so you could check out and head to the train station.
“You don’t have to take me, really–”
“I know I don’t have to but I want to,” he insisted.
You laugh at him. “You’ve gone and rented out a room that you didn’t even sleep in. Now you’re saying that you’re going to take the train with me, see me off at my stop, then transfer at a station that’s completely out of the way for you?”
He laughed in return. “It sounds so crazy when you put it that way but…yes, I want to do all that.”
You shook your head at how ridiculous that was. “Joon…”
“Please? Just let me do this,” he all but pleads.
You wanted to protest again but instead, when you open your mouth, a yawn escapes you.
“Look at you…that’s like, the fifth time in a row you’ve yawned,” he snickered.
“Spare me,” you chuckled with a slight eyeroll. “I know we barely slept when we were together. Now I can barely keep my eyes open.”
“Dawn is for lovers…and bakers,” he adds with a grin while his eyes peered up at a bakery that had just turned over its ‘open’ sign on the front door.
Your cheeks flushed with warmth. “You always had a way with words.”
“Things haven’t changed much,” he replied as you made your way out of the hotel to catch a cab together.
******
Hours later, the train approaches your stop, and you begin to gather your things.
“Thank you,” you say to him.
He smiled wordlessly then dipped his head down. You didn’t stop him and instead, met his kiss halfway. Warmth bloomed within your chest when your lips brushed against each other’s. In an instant, you had traveled back in time…back into his embrace. It was like coming home.
The train comes to a halt, making you bump against each other. Pulling away, you stare at each other with half-lidded eyes. Both your pulses raced but ironically, there was a calm that washed over you.
Neither of you said anything for a few beats until a smile broke through his lips. It’s so infectious that you do the same. He leans in again and plants a soft, lingering kiss on your forehead. You find yourself squeezing your eyes shut.
When he lets go of you, he looks into your eyes again. “We should do this again.”
His invitation was so unexpected that it knocked the wind out of you. You give him a small smile and a nod. “Sure, just call me.”
“I definitely will. You know, since I have my phone with me now instead of an old receipt,” he says.
You gather your things and off-board the train hand-in-hand. You put your luggage down then faced each other on the platform.
“So…have a good life!”
Your comment tickles him. “‘Have a good life’?” he echoed. “That sounds like something people say when they won’t see each other again.”
You didn’t really mean anything by it. You thought it sounded better than saying, ‘That was fun,’ or ‘Take care.’
You chuckled at him and shrugged. “You never know what could happen between now and the next time we see each other again. I could die; you could hit your head and fall into a coma; another border lockdown could happen, or…maybe one of us decides that they want something else,” you reply casually.
He took a step to narrow the gap between you. “I’ve always loved your wild imagination,” he says, tucking a few strands of your hair behind your ear.
You grinned at him. “So you’ve told me.”
His expression turned serious. “Well, none of those things will happen. We’ll see each other again.” he promises, keeping his eyes locked with yours.
You nodded softly and gave him a small smile. “Alright.”
His smile grew wider and you tilt your chin up to kiss his lips again before his train home arrives on the other side of the platform. You watched him board and saw that he sat by the window seat, his eyes still on you.
True love in its absolute form has many purposes in life. It’s not just about bringing children into the world; or romance or soulmates or even lifelong companionship. The love you had in your past...unfinished, untested, lost love...seems so easy, so childish to those who chose to settle down. But it’s actually the purest, most concentrated stuff.
For years, you imagined what it would be like to see him again. To learn that things hadn’t changed and that spark between you was just as bright and electric as when you first made eye contact.
And while you were happy to learn that he still felt the same way, just like any spark, there’s a brightness for a few seconds…before the wind blows it out. Like a firework that shoots up into the sky, bursting into different colors, only to fall back down as smoke and ash. Like a bolt of lightning, crackling through the storm clouds, followed by a loud thunderclap and a burst of rain.
Up until the last few hours, you realized that something this good can only last for so long.
You had your beautiful moment with him. And that’s how it will always stay in your heart.
When the train rain pulls away from the station, you feel a twinge in your chest. You blew him a kiss and stood there silently until he was far enough away from you.
He waved at you through the window then turned to look straight ahead.
“Have a good life, YN,” he whispered to himself.

OOH IF YOU'RE STILL TAKING ASKS FOR THE TROPE THING can i get vernon and like you two are assigned partners on an art project but he's awful at art LMFAO okay thank love you xx
JJ BELOVED HI HELLO I AM FINALLY GETTING AROUND TO THIS <333333
okay first of all i LOVE this idea skfjllkdfl this would definitely be a fun, comedic, romcom nonsense fic hehehe
i'm picturing this being set in like, a fucking calculus class and this project is the professor's way of trying to "bring more creativity to the sciences" or whatever. and vernon's just like. 'dude. how on earth is making a collage...sculpture...thing... supposed to help me learn calculus???' no one in the class really gets it either, since they can just, you know, do the math without having to create anything. but whatever, a little arts n crafts never hurt anyone [spoiler alert: it maybe hurts someone *cough*vernon*cough* a little at some point]
anyway, vernon ends up being partnered up with reader who, thank god, actually has an idea for what they can do for their project and also talks like someone who knows about art. in fact, they seem really into art and like, super pumped for this project. which is great! except, they're also really cute? and like, they're maybe kinda sorta the person he's been lowkey crushing on from afar since last semester???
and because having a crush sometimes makes you say/do stupid things, he tells reader that he can totally help with the art portion, easy peasy. [narrator voice: it was not, in fact, easy peasy] queue montage of the week leading up to when they're supposed to meet up again: - vernon desperately watching all kinds of youtube videos trying to learn how to Art™️ - him walking into a Michael's and just being so lost and overwhelmed that he just. has a bit of an existential crisis in the fabric section - he somehow manages to accidently cut himself with a pair of scissors while trying to do some kind of papercraft thing and has to go to the nurse's office. - his roommate (let's make it chan for funsies) is convinced that he's having some kind of mental breakdown "hyung, i don't know what to do, he's just staring at a pile of children's playdough like it holds the secrets of the universe. or maybe like it killed his pet goldfish. i don't know, he's just being weird."
all of this leads up to when reader and vernon meet up again to present their 'prototypes' of the art part of the project so they can decide which they like better and then start actually working on it. reader is already at the cafe they agreed to meet at, and vernon (sleep deprived and already overly caffeinated) walks up to where reader is sitting, drops his sad attempt at art on the table, and blurts "i lied about being good at art because you're really cute and it broke my brain a little bit and i'm actually really, really bad at it. i'm so sorry." and then he fucking WALKS AWAY because he's a LOSER and you were extra cute today and his brain is still a bit broken and reader ends up having to chase him down the street, his shitty attempt at art clutched in one hand, to tell him that it's fine, they can handle the art part as long as he does his fair share of the math
"and like. maybe i could, teach you? sometime? if you want to learn, that is. and i'm not the best artist, but i've taught some summer camp classes before, and—" / "wait, you'd really wanna do that? after seeing how bad at it i am?" / "well... it means i'd get to spend some extra time with you outside of school, so... yeah"
vernon of course readily agrees, and they start going on little art dates together (and yes, they're Date dates bc vernon finally gets his shit together and asks them out) and they get a solid B- on the project bc while reader is great at art, turns out neither of them are the best at math rip </3
[send me a person and a trope/au and i'll tell you what kind of plot i'd write for them]

Meeting And Dating Thor Odinson Would Include:
Meeting And Dating Thor Odinson Would Include:
Thor Odinson X GN Reader
Additional Characters: Loki (Mentioned), Frigga (Mentioned), Heimdall (Mentioned), Tony (Mentioned) Reader's friends (Mentioned), and The Warriors Three (Mentioned)
WC: 1,175
Warnings: Mentions of fighting (brief), cute stuff, baby angst, and fluff
You met Thor in a very unconventional way.
In fact, you met him quite literally by accident. You were walking home from a cafe with your friends when someone bumped into you. You tripped over yourself, and in your haste to regain control, you ended up on the floor. When you looked up, you saw him looking at you with a slightly panicked expression. Your face must have said it all because he offered you his hand. You accepted his offer, and he helped you stand.
He was quick to apologize, saying that he was so caught up in his own thoughts that he had failed to notice you. You actually didn't mind at all, the person before you was Thor, after all, an Avenger. His kind words put a smile on your face. He then asked if you'd like to join him for coffee. You smiled again and agreed. How could you say no to the Norse God? That's how you found yourself sitting across from each other at a small table in a cafe. It was pretty nice. You didn’t even care that that was your second coffee of that day.
Unsurprisingly, Thor was a charmer, retelling his great adventures with the Warriors Three and his brother, Loki You laughed along with his stories. You couldn't help but be enamored with the man in front of you. The god had bright blue eyes that seemed to glow and a handsome smile.
It wasn't long until you went on another date, and another, and another…
Expect Thor to tell you more stories of his quests. Ones with the warriors, Loki, and He enjoys your laughter as he tells you about the times they've gotten into trouble. You're always fascinated by their antics. Your laugh is so contagious, Thor can't help but laugh too.
You help him with technology. Helping him with the toaster or how to use the tv remotes.
Thor loves taking selfies with you, posting them to his social media with your help. Literally more than half of his phone is full of pictures of the two of you.
You, 90% of the time, go to cafes for your dates, and Thor always gets a coffee and lemon scone.
Thor takes you to Asgard the first chance he gets. He has a constant bright smile on his face as he introduces you to his mother and brother.
His mother, Frigga, loves you. Welcome to the family.
Heimdall thinks you are a great match for his friend. He sees how happy you make Thor. He approves.
You always think of Thor when it thunders outside.
On quiet days, you and Thor sit together and read. Most of the time though, Thor asks you to read to him as he rests his head on your lap. He finds your voice soothing.
You like to take him to art museums. Taking him to see some of your favorite paintings.
Thor is prince charming. Always taking care of you whenever possible. It makes you happy, knowing that someone cares so much for you.
Stealing his clothes, mostly the t-shirts he wears when he's not saving the world. Thor does notice when they are missing, in fact, he leaves them out in the open in hope of you finding them and stealing them from him. He does think you look better in them than he does.
After you move into the tower with him, you and Thor take turns pranking Tony. Moving his tools when he's gone, reprogramming his ACDC music to classical through JARVIS, and getting everybody in the tower to call him ‘Pony’ for an entire day.
You and Thor play Just Dance together, and it really turned into a competition. Thor is surprisingly really good at dancing, which makes you pretty jealous. But, quickly your dance jealousies subside when you see Thor dance in those jeans.
Sometimes, at night when you both can't sleep, Thor would turn on some soft music, taking you in his arms and leading you into a gentle sway. Closing your eyes, you held each other close, as the world just fell away.
Thor is a cuddler. He'd cuddle with anyone, but with you, he's a full-on raging cuddle monster. There isn't a night where he isn’t cuddling you. Either he’s spooning you from behind or literally on top of you, his head resting on your stomach.
He does snore, you don't mind. It helps remind you that he's there.
Will thunder and lightning if he's angry. If someone is rude to you and makes you cry, the skies will darken and the weatherman will get confused.
Now, you don't fight or argue a lot, but when you do, you're heated in a fight one moment, and the next either apologizing to one another or in a passionate kiss. Either way, it ends quickly, you never fight for long. You and Thor never want to go to bed angry.
Thor watches in bated breath as you wrap your hand around the handle of the hammer. He throws his arms up in the air as he jumps out of his seat with glee. Wrapping you up in his arms, he spins you around.
"I told you Y/N was worthy!"
Thor's not too much of a fan of PDA, but if someone tries to steal you away, he's not afraid to show them that you are his.
Huge into hand holding.
And hand kisses.
When he's called off for a mission, Thor always says goodbye. Taking you in his arms as he takes in your scent, memorizing it for when he was away. Pressing a kiss to your forehead before promising to be back soon.
He will use your shampoo. Gotta keep that hair looking fine. And it reminds him of you.
Thor surprises you with little gifts and trinkets from Asgard and any other planet or realm. Leaving them somewhere random in your room.
Will get you anything you desire. You say your favorite brush broke, he's off to get you another. Your favorite shirt ripped? He's finding a sewing kit and learning how to sew just for you. You pass a cute animal on the street? He's coming back with your new pet. He'd do anything for you.
A lot of terms of endearment. Like, my love, dear, darling, etc. And, on occasion, baby.
Thor is a huge fan of board games. He loves playing Monopoly. He always plays as the dog. though, you did teach him the game Twister.
There are two types of mornings for you two, 1) Waking up and not feeling like getting out of bed until later. Your head resting on Tho's chest and his arms wrapped around you as he hums an old Asgardian song. 2) Waking up with him bringing you breakfast in bed. Laughing as he sneaks a piece of bacon off your plate.
Thor plans to spend the rest of his days with you. He wants you to know how happy you make him, and how much he loves you.

Your writing is so good, I love reading your work! Could you write for Albedo + Glaze Lily please?
[Glaze Lily]: "Tell me, oh storyteller, of the tale of those ill-fated, star-crossed lovers."
Event Masterlist
pairing: Albedo x gn!reader
genre: angst
At its core, the art of alchemy goes against the natural order of the world. The process of breaking an object down into its very essence, molding it to one's will and transfigure it into something else entirely, is one that displays the arrogance of humankind in thinking they can tame something that cannot, and should not, be controlled. But those ever lofty gods do not take heed to these trivial acts of arrogance. What harm is there in allowing mere mortals to fiddle with a little sliver of power?
Alchemy remains harmless to their eyes, until it deals with giving what was once inanimate or decayed feeble life, something they thought they have buried deep underground long ago.
Their fears are realized when a practitioner of that forbidden knowledge appeared in the high walls of Mondstadt.
"Do you think he'll come today?"
"I sure hope so! He's so dreamy~."
You finish the coffee order in your hand, only half-listening to the conversation from your coworkers about some guy who's been coming into the cafe lately.
"What's so great about this guy anyways?" You ask after handing the coffee to the customer.
"Oh (Y/N), if you were here then you would get it. He's so handsome! He must a model. Or an actor."
"Or a prince of some kind. Gods, he looks like he's straight out of a fairy tale. I wouldn't mind if he sweeps me off my feet."
"And his voice...I can melt just thinking about it. Do you think he voices audiobooks?"
"Maybe he can help cure my insomnia by reading a bedtime story to me."
You look at them in suspicion. "That sounds a little too perfect."
"I thought so too! But man, he's so fine. Even his name is pretty." One of them sighs. "Albedo."
Something prickles at the back of your mind at the name, but you quickly shake the feeling off. "That's a rare name."
"I know! I tried looking him up, but he doesn't seem to have much of a social media presence."
"Oh, if only he would show up for your last shift, (Y/N), then you'll see."
You smile ruefully at the reminder that this will be the last time you work here before you move to another city. "Let's see what happens."
To your coworkers' dismay, there's no sign of that mysterious, golden customer. Though you can't deny that you're curious, there's no help mulling on what could have been, especially when you're going to be leaving soon.
At the end of your shift, you change out of your work clothes and hug all of your coworkers goodbye, clocking out one last time before exiting out the back door to start a new chapter in your life.
A few minutes later, the bell chimes, and a young man with hair as pale as chalk walks through the front door.
───── ⋆⋅✨⋅⋆ ─────
The gods trembled upon their divine seats in a mixture of fear and indignation at the last remaining student of the Art of Khemia. An abominable creature existing outside of their jurisdiction that cannot be directly influenced by their dictated fate.
But they would not make their move just yet. No, let the false creation be lured into a sense of security. Let him be convinced that he deserved a life of happiness and peace.
He would make a mistake soon enough.
Spending time in an art gallery isn't what you expected for your day-off, but some of your colleagues have recommended this place to you ever since you've moved here, so you figured there's no harm in going. Besides, it would be a nice change of pace, and it's free to enter to boot.
Coincidentally, the day you decided to go is the day that the gallery is introducing a new exhibition from an artist that you've never heard of before.
"Kreideprinz?" You pronounces as you look at the brochure in curiosity, the name settling into your tongue like a well-worn blanket.
"It means Chalk Prince," the person at the counter informs you. "He's a rising artist that started out in the online space and amassed a following over the years for his sketches and paintings. He's famous for blending realism with a fantastical approach in his landscape depictions. His identity has been a well-kept secret in the industry, but there's a rumor that he may appear at the event tonight."
"Is that so?" You say under your breath while scanning quickly through the brochure. There's no denying the beauty of these images.
"You can find out more on the website if you're interested."
The exhibition is called "On the Boundary", and according to the brochure in your hand, displays a series of his paintings that depicts the world constantly in motion and often on the cusp of a transitional stage.
You stroll through the gallery and find yourself lost in these worlds: from a blooming field of Cecilias that hide signs of decay and rot; to the ancient mountain of Vindagnyr — verdant and prosperous, only belied by a thin flutter of snow on the ground; to the old city of Mondstadt blanketed by darkness and a whisper of a storm.
But not all of it signifies doom and gloom. There's the Tower of Decarabian and the bubbles of resistance hidden among the crowd. The early formation of Liyue Harbor, a skeleton of its now glorious self. The rain slowing its downpour on Yashiori Island. A dazzling depiction of Sumeru City as dreams return to its people.
You stop at a painting of Starsnatch Cliff at night, not as sprawling or grandiose as the others, but something about the simplicity of it draws you in. You wonder what the change could be in this one, could it be the saplings of Cecilia dotted throughout the dusky landscape? Or something in the breeze? Or maybe it's the silhouette of two figures sitting on the precipice of the cliff, bodies so close together that they almost seem to be fusing.
You stare at the sight, entranced. An overwhelming, unnameable feeling fills your soul, a mixture of wistfulness, nostalgia, and yearning. You've been to Starsnatch Cliff once before, but never like this. This is the cliff in another time other than your own. So why is it that you can feel the breeze caressing your cheek, the solid presence of someone beside you, their velvet touch against your skin?
You snap out of your reverie just in time to realize that you had a hand outstretched as if you were going to touch the canvas. You look around to catch the disapproving look from the security guard nearby and quickly retract your hand, your cheeks flaming in shame.
You walk away, and that unexplainable feeling becomes nothing more than dew sliding off a leaf.
That night, a young man wanders discreetly through the gallery, his eyes as blue as the waters of Cider Lake sweeping over each artwork before halting at a particular one.
He gazes at the painting of the lovers on Starsnatch Cliff, and only those observant enough would be able to understand the look in his eyes.
───── ⋆⋅✨⋅⋆ ─────
The creature had everything anyone could ever desire for. Respect from his colleague, power, talent, friends, family, even love. Oh, how he trembled when he realized that this molded heart of his could be capable of such a flighty and ferocious emotion.
How tangible he must have felt, how corporeal and human to be able to taste the fruits of love. He thought he had risen above his shameful origins and was worthy to stand by his lover.
Oh, how the gods anticipated his eventual fall from grace.
It's the perfect day for a stroll in the park, and you congratulate yourself for dragging your body out of bed and enjoy the weather for a little bit, even when your plans for the evening consist of binge-watching your favorite shows and ordering takeout. Ah well, no shame in that.
You're walking along the lake when you feel something crashing into you. You're preparing to chastise them when you realized that the person is only a child, a blonde girl wearing a red dress adorned with clover patterns whose height only manages to hit your upper thighs. Tears rim her eyes, and she has a panicked look on her face.
"What's wrong, are you lost?"
"Klee can't find her mom anywhere! I wanted to see the ducks so I turned away from her for a moment and now I don't know where she is!" She lets out in a ramble.
"Ok," you gently take a hold of her shoulders. "I need you to calm down for me, Klee. We'll find your mom together."
"R-really?"
"Yeah," you smiled. "I promise. Can you describe her to me?"
"M-mom has blonde hair like me, and she's wearing a red dress today so we can match! She's also tall, and very pretty!"
You nod and look down at her dress. Let's hope that there's not a lot of blonde women wearing red dresses with clover patterns in the park today. "Ok, let's go find her."
You let the little girl take your hand and slowly lead her through the park, eyes peeled for the woman fitting the description. You decided to go towards the security booth, thinking that if a panicked parent just lost their child, that would probably be the first place they go to.
Along the way, you get to talking with Klee to ease her worries, asking about her family and listening to her stories about Dodoco (her early interest in chemistry and bomb-making is a bit concerning, but you attribute that to childhood curiosities.)
"You remind me of my brother!"
"Hm? I do?"
She nods enthusiastically, her previous worry seeming to have lessened. "Big brother is also very kind, and he always look after me. Even when he's busy with work, he would find time to play with me."
"Sounds like a good brother."
"He is! I love him very much!"
Thankfully, true to your guess, when you arrive near the booth, there's a hassled woman fitting the description talking to the security guy., waving her arms around frantically.
"Mama!" Klee exclaims and leaves your side to run to her. At the shout, the woman turns around, her eyes brightening in relief.
"Klee!" She springs her arms open to hug the girl. "Where have you been? I've been looking all over for you!"
"I'm sorry," Klee hangs her head guiltily. "I just wanted to look at some ducks."
The woman's shoulders sag. "Oh well, that's alright my little clover. You're here now. Are you okay?"
"Mhmm! I had some help!" Klee gestures to you, still standing there to see the reunion. The woman locks her eyes with yours, and to your surprise, a quick flash of recognition goes through them. She looks at you stiffly, eyebrows furrowed and her mouth almost hanging open.
But she recovers only a second later. "Thank you for helping my Klee."
"It's nothing." You wave a hand. "I'm glad I was able to help."
She nods, and the movement seemed tense. "Come on Klee, say goodbye to the nice person."
"Bye bye!"
"Bye Klee, bye Dodoco."
The woman looks as if though she wants to say something more, but at the last minute she turns away, and offers nothing else than a wave goodbye.
───── ⋆⋅✨⋅⋆ ─────
His fate may not be written by their hands, but his lover was not immune to the whims of destiny.
How cruel it must have been to see a life taken so prematurely, when there was still so much potential and purpose left. How distraught the alchemist was when he witnessed the lifeless body of his lover, how he had begged and pleaded and prayed to the gods he never truly believed in.
They were anticipating this moment, and his next action was one that would seal their paths forever.
"False creation, your attempt at tampering with the natural order of this world to revive a human corpse to life has left us no choice but to intervene. Their soul is no longer of this world, and it is not your right to tether them back to a husk. We cannot ignore this transgression, nor can we let it go unpunished. While everything in this world live and die, you cannot age nor die. Enjoy your immortality, homunculus, and know that you will never be reunited with your love. No matter how many ages past, no matter how many times they reincarnate, no matter if civilizations rise or fall, your paths will never cross again. Heed our words, homunculus. Heed them...or reap the consequences."
You're speedwalking on the sidewalk, silently hoping that you'll make it in time for your appointment. You weave through the streets towards the tracks, the pedestrian light ahead letting you know that a tram will be making its way through soon. You speed up, but the moment your feet makes contact with the tram tracks, you turn to meet the sparkling teal eyes of a young man, his pale blond hair brushing his shoulders, strands pulled back into a half-ponytail to reveal ethereal and delicate features that takes your breath away.
How does one measure a moment when it seems to last forever? You're confident that you're still moving, and yet your feet seem to anchor itself to the ground, trapping yourself in this one instance and refusing to let you go. Everything that is once concrete fizzles out until your surroundings become nothing but dust. There's nothing but you and this man that you've never seen before.
Then why is it that deep inside you feel something call out to you? Why is it that goosebumps rise to your skin and ears buzzed and something creaks in your mind like an abandoned cabinet finally being opened?
Why is he gazing at you with so much tenderness and sadness?
The moment passes. You emerge on the other side safely, the tram blocking your sight entirely. You find yourself lingering for a few seconds, as if seeing if you can catch another look at that mysterious person. The fleeting desire is broken when you take a glance at your phone, horrified to know that you only have a few minutes left.
You dash off, all thoughts of that beautiful man seemingly lost to you.
───── ⋆⋅✨⋅⋆ ─────
Albedo watches as the tram pass, and to his disappointment there is no sign of you on that other side.
He had anticipated this. The gods have kept vigilant to their words for thousands of years, never letting up in their promise to never let him see you ever again. But this slip of theirs...how interesting.
He had seen it in your eyes, he knows that deep down your soul still recognizes him, even when a fog encases your heart and mind. This gives him some hope yet, that those deities up above are not all-powerful and omnipresent.
He turns away, his footsteps clacking against the sidewalk as he thinks about his next move.
He will find their weakness, topple them from their heavenly thrones with his bare hands, and reweave the strands of fate.
After all, Albedo has nothing but time and patience.

Alright Season 3 lets give it up for season 3 everyone.
Cannot believe this show left me on "How do you know what you brought back it 100% pure Sam?" and I just said to myself
GODDAMN
and then just didn't watch S3E1 for three days
Anyway. Liveblogging spn while I work tonight. We're bringing back the old days where I did this with x files if any of you remember that LMAO
Kicking things off with a bang (and me trying to not post too many rambles about a stupid tv show, so I'm conglomerating my thoughts into big posts instead)
we have S3E1 - The Magnificent Seven
Love this show's deep appreciation for full black contact lenses MWAH
cheffs kiss
Sorry I know I should be focusing on the evil demon smoke going to infect whatever city this is but like. Do you guys actually genuinely have flags out the front of your houses like this for real
Like really. Do your houses really have flags like that.
OH YEAH BABEY SEASON 3 GOT AN INTRO STING GRAPHICAL UPDATE!!!!!!!!!! NICE
He is SO concerned
No one is giving me practical effects like this show is and I'm living for this
I WISH there was more of a scene in australia cause god I'd work as a prop maker for a living if it was a viable career to do more horror aligned stuff here.
They've spiced up the camera work this season and it is FUN!!!!
These two are great I hope they're gonna be regular supporting characters PLEASE
Highly entertaining seeing Dean's superpower of "Flirt with woman successfully" actually used as a utility (bonus points because it's making him uncomfortable)
RARE HAT-LESS BOBBY SPOTTED
Oh.
Absolutely visceral death, but a real damn shame because these two were cool :(
This show has no right just putting jokes like this right after a scene like THAT.
These dickheads are far too fun to be a one off PLEASE
Australian chanting
FOIGHT FOIGHT FOIGHT FOIGHT FOIGHT!!!!!!!!
Alright that was a fun way to start a season. Nice recap. I get it. It'dved been a while since it last aired. I like shitty pissed off Sam a LOT.
Are you tired of being nice Sam? Don't you just want to go apeshit?
Round 2 Electric Boogaloo with S3E2 - The Kids are Alright
Starting strong once again with a callback to Victorian worksafe ads!!
(Victorians know.)
Love that Sam inherited NONE of the lying genes in the family
I'm sorry you cant make the comment "as many as I can squeeze out" (EUPHAMISM) and then immediately smack me in the face with a fucking GUMBY REFERENCE?????!!!!!!!!!
Fuck off I hate this show. Fuck you dean you stupid piece of shit
A FUCKING
GUMBY REFERENCE (how many of you know what that is LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO)
Look I get it, I do, but c'mon he looks so fucking awkward getting cake while these two women are talking about the explicit details of his prior intimate experience with Lisa from 8 years ago
Like what the fuck did they DO to illicit a reaction as intense as these two women are giving
No I will not suspend my disbelief for the running gag No I'm not taking this too literally NO i don't have a problem with interpreting jokes
The closeup of Dean's face as his brain was doing the dialup tone killed me, then immediately PANIC but don't drop the cake (SAME)
Anyway. Lisa I love you. You're amazing. Please be done justice by this show. Please.
Need you all to know I go through hell (HAR HAR) to watch this show
And I thought my conversations in cafes sounded unhinged to bystanders (LITERALLY had some old dude tell me and a friend we were weirdos as we minded our own business drawing horror art in a cafe hgakjrhgkagh)
HATE that my brain just went "NOT THE SARAN WRAP SKIN" (we don't call it that. Next I'll start pronouncing things more wrong than I already do)
Not the white DS Lite!!!!!!!!
Remember this kid you bullied in highschool? This is them now
Oh this show doesn't pull punches and it has some NICE shots
Anyway bye Lisa I love you I hope you come back soon :(
the running gag of bizarre interior décor hotel room never ceases to entertain me, I'm like a small child
Anyway
ran out of room for more images on this post so. Who knows maybe I'll fuck off or I'll do a part 2 tonight we'll see

RWBY V9E7 Reaction
Chapter 7
Content warning baby!!
The perils of paper houses.
Alright well that's a title for sure.
Still haven't skipped an intro, Casey is doing amazing this volume.
And an origami bird, cute
Seriously? They have them kiss last episode just to have a rough breakup this episode? Are you kidding me? Lazy, lazy writing.
.
April Fools, now back to the ep
Yang is a cannon snorer
Adorable.
Ruby starting the PTSD strong
What he late for?
He lives in a paper town, that's amazing
JAAAAAAAAAZZZZZZZZ, god i need this soundtrack so much
paper pleasers
Wow, the subtlety is out.
Jaune went crazy, confirmed.
The idea of him talking to team RWBY dolls for years is hilarious.
This is crazy, you're crazy.
They all think you're crazy.
NEPTUNE CALL BACK YOOO
Little is sooo cute with that face full of food.
Weiss forever the pessimist.
Exposition paper is exposition.
Everyone is so fluid at the little cafe, the animation is great this volume.
Once again the tree is referred to as a character and a person not a tree.
Ohhh nothing you say? I Think Not.
And yeah jaune has definitely gone nuts, his outburst confirms that.
And neo attacks, and i feel like something was cut there from what Wiess said but oh well, fight scene is awesome.
That knight and knight action, the bee tag team, the punch cut *chef's kiss*
Wiess getting launched wow.
And then the problem.
That clock of crescent rose was so juxtaposed I love it.
NEOOOOO!!!!
Finger guns yeeeeaaaaahhhh
well power upgrade confirmed.
But that fight was great, my favorite this season. Every beat was matched, each character got enough time, we saw some crazy combos, and Wiess got yeeted like team rocket. Not having ruby in the action leaves a lot of room for other stuff, kinda like it from a visual standpoint.
So ruby's PTSD: yeah that's a thing. And
And jaunes scream and ensuing breakdown.
Ruby's losing it yeaaaaah.
This outburst into everyone's faces, i think we're seeing what should have happened in apathy way back in V6. But it's a little strange ruby's just been playing off the bees, after her comment earlier. But then jaunes Talkback, like he's not wrong and i think it's okay he's treating her on more his level, like he's obviously way older than them now, but he's not matured at all, he still sees them as his equals deep down, and he still goes for her, even if he does apologize afterwords.
But let's break that down; Lindsay did a great job btw.
So she goes straight to Wiess, with Jaune and home, then the bees, and the rebuttal from jaunes the height difference the framing of the tears.
Ruby yooooo.
The shut up, the deeper voice,
The look on everyone's face, blakes ears God it's a good scene.
And then she flipping flies out.
And the sinking paper in the background.
The concept art for this one looks amazing, this was a really cool location and as much as the paper pleasers were short lived, they funny enough filled Their place in the exposition, and the integration of tales of ever-after stuff Is welcomed.
alright, I've got a theory cooking so stay tuned for that, guys this is a lore dump ep so it's gonna be a long one.
EDIT: I JUST LOOKED UP THE CREDIT FOR THE PURPLE ONE AND IT'S FUCKING CIEL'S VA?!?!?!??? GET THE CAT ON THE PHONE SHE CAME BACK IN A NOTABLE WAY OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD
#team rwby#rwby#reactions#yang protected blake when ruby started on them aghaghagah its so cute#yin yang of nevermore#spoilers#v9c7#rwby spoilers#rwby liveblog

I think the date at the park is so cute! Gabby and Lara have teamed up against Krow. They both believe that he is sketchy. This is how I imagined it.
“Again?” Lara asked exasperated. “Yes. I really like him! He’s really sweet and talented!” Mara said. Her twin sighed. “Mara, he's got to be the sketchiest guy I've ever met,” Lara said. “Ooh! You're right! I can confirm that when he sketches, it still looks so good!” Mara said. “I'm not talking about art, dimwit!” Lara said. “You should listen to me and Gabrielle. Sweetie, he's a weirdo. I mean WHY is he always calling you Dove?” Lara asked. “Because they're cute and I'm cute!” Mara said. Lara rolled her eyes. “We're here,” she said. She stopped the car. “Thanks, sis. I'll call you!” Mara said as she got out of the car. “Bye Mara!” Her sister yelled. “Remember no kissing, or hugging, and stay six feet apart!” Lara screeched. Mara cringed Everyone was staring. “And absolutely no se-” Mara cut Lara off. “Shush, I'm 23 and I know how to behave!” she said. She was blushing in embarrassment. Lara snorted then she drove away. Mara met up with Krow. “Hi!” she said giving him a shy smile.
On the drive to the cafe, Lara called Gabby. “Hey gabs, guess what? She actually did it. She is on a date with that weird guy!” Lara said “What? Why?” Gabby asked. “She wouldn't listen. She thinks he's sweet and so talented.” Lara said. “Oh, my God,” Gabby said. “You want to know what really ticks me off?” That she invited him over. He's going to be at our house.” Lara said. “Again,” she added, delighted with Gabby's frustrated noises. When she got to the cafe, Lara and Gabby sat in a booth in the back. They needed privacy to discuss how dumb Mara’s actions were. “And when she brought him over I was pissed! They were on the couch cuddling! Ew.” Lara said. “I am done with this s***. If I had proof he was sketchy she would believe me.” Gabby said. Gabby and Laura continued to trash-talk Krow. When they ran out of steam, they started talking about fashion. Gabby was working on something new. “Gabs, I should bring that mannequin over for you. It would be perfect!” Lara said.
Mara was having a great time! Once the awkwardness of her sister's outburst went away, she and Krow’s picnic went a lot better. He was like a dream! The food was good. They got up to stretch their legs and Mara made sure to grab his hand. I'm breaking the rules already. She thought. Krow brought Mara to a peaceful spot with lots of birds. They had fun feeding them. Krow was also telling her about them. “Krow, you know a lot! Have you ever been pooped on?” Mara asked giggling. “Hehe, no I h-have not,” he said. When their date was over Mara and Krow were saying bye. “Oh and before you leave, give me your number!” Mara said. She and Krow exchanged numbers. As he was handing her phone back their fingers touched. Mara blushed. She wanted to find another reason to hold his hand. This was the second date but she already felt like he could be the one. Mara was a firm believer in finding the one, her love for life. She wanted a relationship like both her mom's. Ever since she had seen Krow around at the coffee shop, they have talked a lot and she found him really funny and charming.
Lara's car drove up. She beeped and rolled the window down. “That doesn't look like six feet, Mara!” she yelled. Mara and Krow were standing really close to each other and they had yet to let go of each other's hand. Lara gave Krow a disgusted glare. “You know Mara, you really shouldn't date down. It's not a good look for you. You deserve better. Plus you chose the sketchiest guy I have ever seen! He looks like he came from the back alley of a bar!” Lara yelled. Mara gasped. She and Krow were both offended. “Lara! You're my sister, you have to be nice. That's disrespectful!” Mara said, disapprovingly. “That's just what I'm going for!” Lara said. “Now get your ass in the car!” she yelled. Mara turned to Krow. “Bye Krow! I'll text you.” Mara said. Then she hugged him, knowing it would piss her sister off. It was the most contact they had all day besides holding hands. She would rather NOT recall the time today when she accidentally fell on him and just lay there because she liked being close to him. Or the fact that the only reason she got off was because she didn't want to sit on top of him too long. Mara left with Lara. As the car drove off, she thought she saw a green glow coming from Krow’s direction. What was that? She wondered.
Eeeeeee I love this! The difference between Lara and Mara, Lara and Gabby being sassy bitches together, the sweetness of Krow and Mara's date. All so cute!
Krow would certainly try his best to be polite and get along well with Lara. He doesn't necessarily WANT to infringe on Dove's family if he can help it.
Gabby sympathizes with Lara though. u_u
Krow would love to take Mara out to one of his favorite bird watching spot in the forest!

WHAT IS THAT? WHAT IS THAT THING WHAT IS THAT. IT'S PURPLE? IS THAT A SWORD IS THAT EXCALIBUR WHAT IS IT DOING IN SPAIN?
I can't get to it :c
One of these days I will get to the school. I have been playing for hours.
Some friends have told me a little more about what's coming than I actually wanted to know but it's whatever. We continue to get distracted.
oh yeah Daya evolved before I got to school. Wait....that pose/////THIS DUCK IS A BALLERINA I KNOW A PLIE WHEN I SEE ONE even if i don't know how to spell one
i am perhaps a tad overpowered for this area
oh i got access to mystery gift TIME TO GET MY BACKPACK. oh that's a fancy present. Oh, and Havva evolved so into the box it goes, out comes Pinkle for type coverage. And maybe evolutions.
Okay it's finally time to go to school but Nemona wants to battle first....and she has TWO WHOLE POKEMON this time
Nemona I have like thirty
Nemona you're half my level
Nemona you have type disadvantages-
Oh! Terastalization makes its appearance! ....And, that sure is a lightbulb. And you're still weak to me.
God Nemona is such an airhead for ANYTHING outside of battling. It's starting to be endearing. Nemona why are you giving me revives you need those? You're the one with fainted pokemon.
I FINALLY ARRIVE IN MESAGOZA.
i absolutely want to see the food first are you kidding me
Map says there's a Scatterbug....in the middle of the water? RIP Scatterbug.
Finally found a mention of the bigass crater, which is called the Great Crater, which makes sense.
i am wanderiiiiing just, spending forever exploring this city
where did I get these other clothes?
why is all of the food arted so deliciously. i got a phone case. i found places with ice cream, churros, crepes, cafe, ooh sandwich store. ooh, fruit shop. Ah, here's a pharmacy. Another sandwich shop...? Deli. Another restaurant.

whines at how big the school is too....there is SO much to explore. once again Nemona can only think about battling.
also jfc that looks like some kind of touchscreen instead of a blackboard??? oh i am being interviewed. oh suddenly i need to have a dream.
why are these my only options??? they're GOOD but they're not CORRECT, you feel me? oh, now i get to explore theschool. oh that is not how i expected this to work, that's a little disappointing. what kind of school lets a student just waltz into the staff lounge? La Primera....oh OH she's gonna be the FIRST champion rank. Such hair.
nemona cannot think of anything but battles ever and WILL shanghai me into doing it too. i like nemona but man she's kinda overbearing.
found Arven in the cafeteria and so far he seems a little nicer? maybe he really was just hungry. ...Yeah he's a LOT nicer. Still a little not-nice, though, but like yeah Fani IS a little maniac.
HIS PHONE CASE THO
oh shit my smartphone's been hacked!!! Cassiopeia? That name Always means shit's gonna go down. Well if THAT wasn't mysterious as shit...
Once again I do not think I trust Clavell completely...and now I am called to the Director's Office.... he can wait while I do me some learns. Oh snap classes progress how many are there?
fuck you plot i am EXPLORING. Penny is in STEM....the school was established 805 years ago?! Team Star was a big problem but only a while ago... Pages containing recent graduates have been ripped out....some clear indications of Gym Leaders, and clues to the Scarlet Book stuff.... Sada's the only one with a Hall of Fame badge???
i have Much Sus
also jfc Team Star having recruitment quotas to meet sounds like my (admittedly probably flawed) understanding of multilevel marketing schemes
oh shit that's Sada. Oh snap my theories were right, Area Zero is in the Great Crater. I bet we ARE dealing with a Lost Continent plot here! ...how do you know about Koraidon. Like, obviously, you KNOW, bc your son was involved with Koraidon, but like....how do you know I have him. if arven didn't tell you, which it doesn't seem like he did. howmst.
also i am absolutely taking care of koraidon you can't have him back
the adults are up to something
OH YES TAKE ME TO THE DORM. Oh man they give me a kitchenette? This is a lot of trust you're putting in a like...twelve year old girl. I think I'm like twelve? oh snap thats a timeskip
time to ACTUALLY start the game. Nemona barging into myroom again....nemona can you, maybe,,,,cool your jets,,,,, TREASURE HUNT BEGIN
but i kind of want to go back inside and attend classes. it's not IC but I want to befriend the teachers. Nemona please stop deciding what I'm going to do for me, I plan to run off into the wilderness, never to be seen again.
oh. i see. everyone is competing to be my best friend. and Koraidon and Fani are both very food motivated.
And now it just.....opens up. I feel like I'm gonna let both Nemona and Arven agonize over where I'm going for a bit, i'm going back to class. oh man there's mass outbreaks in this game too?
oh snap i have been asked about food sir i have never made a sandwich in my life mommy didnt let me use the kitchen
anyway, classes. classes classes classes. explooooring.
man i love the details. Like the art room's special sink at the back of the classroom, or Raifort's accessories all depicting different legendaries.
I CAN BEFRIEND MY TEACHERS? brb becoming teacher's pet. oh my god do i have to help clavell speak slang....okay i had to look that one up
obviously the day/night cycle has begun but i cannot for the life of me figure out how it.....works....
anyway im supr tired and have work tomorrow so i guess that's it for now!

aw shit...
My comfort characters are Jade the Jellyfish (KinitoPET), Clementine (Stray), and Bittegiggle (Garten of Banban)!!!
Matches, easier to use.
No, I have a fear of being watched.
Kraken. Wanna know why octopuses can't tell jokes? It's cuz they'll start Kraken up!! Hehe, get it?
A REALLY dark brown. Would be creepier if I had pitch black eyes though lol
... Do what? I don't know what you're talking about...
Hair ties are less visible on my hair, and also I feel it's easier to use.
Zero. I rarely use water bottles sometimes.
Hot coffee is good, but cold coffee doesn't require waiting 10 minutes to cool down. But the ice in iced coffee makes it taste watered down... so hot coffee.
I mean... for good reasons yes. But I'd probably have to do it in secret, I don't want to be sent to jail lol
arts and stuffs.
Oh y'know, a day like any other. 24 hours long.
On Thursday October 3, 2024, at 6:09. And no, I'm not making a 69 joke.
Hell yeah! It's really nice! ^^
No, I'm more of a big sister (not biologically though)
No. If anything I'd probably crash into a tree or something...
Neither. I can see things perfectly fine.
Dove and Head & Shoulders. Or literally anything available in the shower.
If you want to, yeah!
Soda.
A Hello Kitty pillow, and a few dolls displayed in my room I never use.
Aggressively passive. I will dig my fingers into your shoulder as I wrap my arm around your back, and I will whisper in your ear, "get fucking therapy."
Chilly weather's nice, it's a shame I'm literally allergic to the cold. I get hives. From the cold.
Probably hanging out, singing songs and playing music. I'd do the craziest shit on the rooftop though
Lotion. My skin is dry as hell.
A bunch of stuff. Too many in my head to count.
Haha, what's sleep?
No, but my god I want a phantom mask SO BAD URGH
Warm, maybe cold.
No, I don't keep dishes in my room.
Grounded? As in not in the parent sense? Probably like, silly fun music like Spellcasting and Tsundere Twintails, but if I'm in the mood I'll probably go for calm cafe jazz music.
Nope. As long as it's my towel.
When I went to a forest park thing, it's full of plants and stuff. It's huge and in open air too. I would really like to go to an actual forest though! Y'know, stranded right in the middle.
A bunch. Soft fuzzy man, From the start, Your Stupid Face, etc. Too much for me to remember.
It's 7:23 as I type this!
Zero times. I haven't changed my url at all lol
Maybe not for 10+ years, but it's been 4+ years since me and a certain irl friend have been friends!
I don't mind, any soap is fine.
Occasionally. Not much though, unless my lips get too dry.
A slice of bread.
Any. Even black coffee, I'll take any. (I NEED THE CAFFEINE)
Pixilart. I used to have Twitter and Reddit but I stopped cuz I got bored of both.
I love spicy foods! They're great =D
Any pedophile. Actually, with or without free pass I'd slaughter a pedophile anyday.
Maybe. I did eat cranberries yesterday, and... Uhh... That's pretty much it.
Christmas Chronicles was a fun movie =D
"The silly!!!" -Me, 2024
I don't do alcohol, and I don't plan on doing it in the future.
No, would be really cool though! What I can do is throw rocks at anyone's head.
Hell yeah, go for it, mutual or not!

I was tagged in 15 questions for 15 mutuals by @tadpal
I'm tagging @no-lava @salamancialilypad @justslowdown @colossalcryptid @aggressivebutterflies @thatsthenorthstar, sorry I know that's only 6 people, I just don't have a lot of mutuals on my main.
1. Are you named after anyone?
Yeah. I was named after Katharine Hepburn. My middle name comes from my great grandma Gertrude's maiden name, and I'm planning to legally change my first name to my great grandfather's once I get the money and paperwork together.
2. When was the last time you cried?
Ooooh fuck, I cry a lot tbh. Last seriously bad cry was probably 3 weeks ago? It was around the time I left my job, it was super stressful. Since then, I think I cried most recently a little over a week ago. April 29th marked one year since we had to put our older dog down.
3. Do you have kids?
No! Thank god. I love kids, but only in small doses. I have a little sister who's 7 who I love to absolute death, but after a week visiting her, I feel like I need to just lay in a quiet dark room for a week straight.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
I exaggerate and use hyperbole more than I use sarcasm. Like I use it occasionally, but when I'm going for comedic effect I tend to use the other tools in my arsenal.
5. What sports have you played?
I'm gonna be real, I have never been a sports girlie. If ballet counts, I did ballet when I was little.
6. What’s the first thing you notice about someone?
Hair and clothes. I guess, style in general. I'm decently faceblind, so faces don't tend to register much unless they're pretty distinctive. I'm very much a person that'll notice what you're wearing and stop to give you a compliment if I like it.
7. Eye Color?
Blue, but specifically, blue enough that I made having blue eyes part of my personality when I was younger
8. Scary movies or happy endings?
I like scary movies, but only as long as they have a happy ending. I don't like any movies that end where everyone's miserable and everything's shitty and sad.
9. Any special talents?
Uhmmmm, not really? Like, there's not really anything I can think of off the top of my head.
10. Where were you born?
I was born in a decent sized city in the Southeast US. I still live there, and it's not too bad a place to live, but as soon as you leave the city and surrounding suburbs shit gets real rural and real conservative, real quick.
11. What are your hobbies?
Honestly, I fly through hobbies like nobodies business, I have ADHD, so I tend to hyperfocus and then get bored really quickly. The majority of my hobbies tend to be crafty stuff, but hiking and other outdoorsy stuff is another thing I love. Fashion and style and design stuff is a big passion of mine. Right now, I've been locked in on houseplants and stuff related to them. I have maybe 20(?) or so, and I also have terrariums, and a planted aquarium.
12. Do you have any pets?
Yes! I have my sweet little Persie dog(follow us on @pomegranatepup), and I also have aquatic snails right now. I feel like all the plants I have should also count as having pets, but whatever.
13. How tall are you?
5'6"! I always try and lie and say I'm taller than that, but I'm really, really not. I'm mad about it because I feel like I definitely had the potential to be taller than I am.
14. Fave subject in school?
English! I was one of those gay bitches that'd be obsessed with their english teachers. My english teachers would have to give me advanced material because I'd finish and get bored so quickly with the english assignments we were given. I was also constantly reading books in class and getting in trouble for it. I know it's not the question, but my least favorite had to have been math, I failed algebra 1 like 3 times. Kind of embarassing, but I had undiagnosed dyscalcula, so whatever...
15. Dream job?
Right now, I want to someday open and run my own bakery or cafe, maybe a coffee shop. My current plan is to go to culinary school for pastry arts and go from there. I've been working as a baker for the past 4 years or so. Honestly, my real dream job is being a worthless layabout. If someone handed me 10 million dollars today, that would be amazing.

Yoga TTC in Rishikesh
Practicing yoga and meditation is one of the best ways to relax the mind and body. If you are considering going to Rishikesh to practice yoga, you may want to consider taking a yoga teacher training course (YTTC). There are several schools in Rishikesh that offer these courses. You can also opt for an immersion program if you are interested in teaching yoga. You will increase your learning potential by immersing yourself in the practice. You can also enjoy the natural beauty of the area while you're taking a course.
YTTC courses combine classical Hatha yoga with meditation. You will learn how to perform different cleansing techniques, such as breathing exercises and chanting. You will also learn to teach kriya yoga, a powerful cleansing technique. You will gain experience as a yoga teacher and become certified to teach yoga.
You will also learn physiology, the ancient science of yoga, and anatomy. You will also learn how to perform different meditation practices, such as dhyana and shamatha. You will also learn how to lead yoga classes, and how to adapt the practice to the needs of your students.
There are two levels of Yoga TTC in Rishikesh: a 100-hour program and a 200-hour program. The 100-hour course is designed for beginners, while the 200-hour program is a more advanced training. The 100-hour course is an 11-day residential course, while the 200-hour program is primarily a non-residential course. Both courses are in compliance with the standards of the Yoga Alliance, USA.
YTTC in Rishikesh is a great way to learn about the practice and culture of yoga. You will be introduced to the various aspects of yoga, including its philosophy, yogic lifestyle, and the history of the practice. You will be taught how to meditate and chant, and you will be given handouts to guide you through the exercises. You will be encouraged to practice meditation for 10-20 minutes twice a day. You will also learn to chant simple mantras.
You will be given three vegetarian meals a day, and you can shower in the filtered water provided by the school. You will be offered fully furnished rooms, which are ideal for your relaxation and meditation. You can share a room with another trainee if you prefer. You can also book a private room if you wish. You can also relax in a cafe overlooking the Ganga.
You will be taught how to teach classes and how to adapt the practice to the needs and desires of your students. You will be introduced to the art of chanting, and you will be given handouts that you can use in your classes. You will also learn how to pronounce and chant the names of the gods and how to enliven different parts of consciousness with chanting.
You will be introduced to many forms of meditation, such as dhyana, shamatha, and kapalabhati. You will also learn how to enliven different parts of the brain with the use of chants. You will also be exposed to many ayurvedic cleansing techniques. You will also have opportunities to participate in weekend excursions and movie nights. You will also have the opportunity to see the beautiful Himalayan mountain range and the sacred river Ganges.
