I absolutely love the contrast of good brandberg amethyst on matrix, especially when it’s a nice sized and well saturated color. I think that the matrix truly compliments the crystal and makes the colors really pop that much more. Plus the aesthetics of the entire piece , this one displays really well since the crystal cluster is isolated in the center of the host rock matrix. Do you enjoy matrix amethyst specimens ?
