7: Where did the title come from?: a vary sappy thought at probably 3 am regarding Al-an's comment about dimming stars translating to grief and mourning. Ideally imagined as faded saturation...thus resersal would be to add colour. (I am a simple human, it make sense when sleepy = i happy) a splash across a pale sky = healing grief.

9: Were there any alternate versions of this fic?

Yes, but it was really sad, and frankly depressing.

after saving Ryley Alterra finds out about Al-an's existence and finally tracks them down years later using the unknowingly bugged hermit, and comes for Al-an, unfortunatly they only find and abduct Robin as the other two were off world, unfortunately at that time she was with twins, but as the two are not able to save her before Alterra scientist get their hands on her and their would be precursor/human children...

It will would have been a harsh parallel to the Emperor leviathan's offspring's fate.

Obviously It would be dark and pretty dreary one my sister demanded be scrapped, especially since Al-an goes bonkers and strips the memory of it from her along with 90% of their relationship... lol xD
