SERIES - On this day August Edition: James was born on 21 August 1670.

JAMES was born on 21 August 1670, at the town of Moulins in France. He was the eldest illegitimate son of James, Duke of York and his mistress Arabella Churchill, and thus was from an illegitimate line of the HOUSE OF STUART. He was named JAMES FITZJAMES, meaning James son of James.

Raised and educated in France, he only moved to England after his father acceeded as James II, King of England (and as James VII, King of Scots) in 1685.

By 1687 his father created him DUKE OF BERWICK, EARL OF TINMOUTH and BARON BOSWORTH, and he was also made a KNIGHT OF THE ORDER OF THE GARTER.

However his father's reign lasted less than three years, before he was deposed in 1688 by the Glourious Revolution. After which he accompanied his father and stepmother, his father's second wife Princess Maria of Modena to their exile in France.

Over the next years as his father tried to recover the throne, he fought in the Jacobite Irish Army at the Irish campaign of 1689.

After the Jacobites many defeats he left for France again, alongside his father. There he joined the French Army entering the service of his cousin Louis XIV, King of France.

At his father's Parisian Court he married the widow Lady HONORA in 1695 and had one son. She was from Irish nobility, the youngest daughter of William Burke, 7th Earl of Clanricarde and Helen MacCarty. With her late husband Patrick Sarsfield, 1st Earl of Lucan, one of the leaders of the Irish Jacobite Army, she already had another son.

Around 1695 the English Parliament removed his titles from the English Peerage, to do his support for his father's cause, so they became part of the unofficial Jacobite Peerage and were later recognized in France but never again in England.

In 1698 his first wife died and in 1770 he married again, to another of his father's courtiers, a certain ANNE. She was the youngest daughter of Henry Bulkeley and Sophia Stewart, a very distant relative of his father. With his second wife he had thirteen children.

During his early service in the French Army he was a premier general in the Spanish War of Succession, achieving many victories against the Habsburgs in favor of Felipe V, King of Spain.

By 1706 he became a French subject and was made a MARSHAL OF FRANCE by the King Louis XIV. The next year King Felipe V recognized the title of DUKE OF BERWICK as a Grandee of Spain and created him as DUKE OF LIRIA AND JÉRICA. In 1710 he was also created DUKE OF FITZ-JAMES in France.

The Duke of Berwick fought on the War of the Spanish Succession until the end and was later assigned to fight on the War of the Polish Succession, dying aged 63, at the Siege of Philippsburg in 1734, being decapitated by a cannonball.

James, his only son from his first marriage succeeded on his Spanish titles as 2nd Duke of Berwick, Liria and Jérica. This son founded the Fitz-James Stuart family in Spain, that in the late 18th century merged to family of the Dukes of Alba.

While Jacques, his eldest son from his second marriage, succeeded as 2nd Duke of Fitz-James in France. This son founded the Fitz-James family in France but died childless and would be succeeded by two brothers as Dukes of FitzJames. This branch of his family became extinct at the death of the 10th Duke of Fitz-James in 1967.

the actor on the most left, name Wilson Michaelsm and the actor on the most left, who played Henrik and whose real name is Pelle Hanæus

if we keep reading facts about the actors in this show i quickly draw the conclusion they are ALL a bunch of leftist, who got roles in the show because of their involvement in swedish lefitist circles. which is not surprising, but a neat fact.

“ I’m the closest thing my mother had to a daughter,  I used to be ashamed of that but now I’m rather flattered.”  I have this idea that Genji was super close with his mum, and they’d do fun things like go shopping together and he would watch her put on her make up every day. When she passed away he started wearing make up because it made her feel a little closer. 

I listened to glourious sons ‘ everything is alright’ on repeat for 2 hours while I finished this doodle. I don’t particularly like music, but I do love sounds, and this song has so many beautiful sounds in it. The crash of the high hats, the hollow sounds between the singers cheeks when he sings. Give it a listen ! :)

CHARLES was born on 29 July 1672 in London, the capital of the Kingdom of England, which was ruled by his father.

An illegitimate child of Charles II, King of England and Scotland with Louise of Kérouaille, he did not receive a surname at birth. And, thus, he was not a member of the House of Stuart.

His mother was of French-Breton noble origins and had settled in England as a mistress of the King, not long before becoming pregnant.

One year after his birth, in August 1673, his father gave his mother an income and titles, such as Duchess of Portsmouth.

By December 1673, his father had convinced their cousin Louis XIV, King of France, to give lands in France to his mother. This land was the fief of Aubigny, with its castle.

So, it was probably at this point that his father began planning his future. As the Lordship of Aubigny had been first granted to their ancestor John Stewart of Darnley, 1st Count of Évreux and had been recently extinct with the death without heirs of a relative.

The relative in question was Charles Stewart, 3rd Duke of Richmond, and 6th Duke of Lennox. So these Dukedoms also became available in England and Scotland.

Even though we do not know when his father bestowed him a surname, it was likely around this time that he became known as CHARLES LENNOX.

When he was three years old, in August 1675, his father finally created him DUKE OF RICHMOND, EARL OF MARCH, and BARON SETTRINGTON in the Peerage of England.

And, in September 1675, he was created as DUKE OF LENNOX, EARL OF DARNLEY, and BARON METHUEN OF TORBOLTON in the Peerage of Scotland. However, he did not receive the Lennox estate because Frances Stewart, the widow of the 6th Duke, was still alive.

Regardless of being just a child, over the years, his father granted him many offices, honours, and other income allowances.

King Louis XIV created his mother as Duchess of Aubigny in 1684. And, in January 1685, he made him a French citizen upon his mother request. It was likely after his naturalisation that he became a joint DUKE OF AUBIGNY with his mother.

At the age of 12, he lost his father, who died in early February 1685.

Because his father did not have any legitimate sons, the throne was inherited by his Catholic uncle, who acceded as James II, King of England, and as James VII, King of Scotland.

Though by June 1685, his oldest illegitimate brother James Scott, 1st Duke of Monmouth, rebelled and proclaimed himself as King. However, his brother was captured and executed for treason in July 1685.

Following the death of his father, his income was reduced, and the allowances of his mother were not fulfilled. So, by August 1685, his mother decided to move to France and took him with her.

While in France, he declared himself a Catholic despite probably being raised as a Protestant. A decision that increased the appreciation of the French King for him and his mother.

For the next years, he traveled back and forth from France and England trying to build a career in the army, but neither the French King nor his uncle gave him any opportunities.

After the Glourious Revolution deposed King James II in 1688, the English and Scottish thrones were given to his Protestant cousins, Princess Mary of England and Willem III, Prince of Orange who were married. The new Monarchs ruled jointly as Mary II, Queen of England and Scotland, William III, King of England, and William II, King of Scotland.

As a Catholic, he decided to follow his uncle into exile in France and offered his services. In the war that followed, he succeeded in fighting for the French Army on the side of the Jacobites supporting his uncle.

But he was not content with his post in the French Army and decided to flee from France in the early 1690s, leaving King Louis XIV and his mother disappointed.

Soon after his return to England, he converted to Protestantism and declared his support for King William III and Queen Mary II. For which he was later given a post as an officer in the army.

In 1693, he married ANNE BRUDENELL, LADY BELASYSE, the widow of Henry Belasyse, 2nd Baron Belasyse of Worlaby. His wife was one of the daughters of Francis Brudenell, Baron Brudenell, and Lady Frances Savile. With her, he had three children.

Queen Mary II died in 1694, but King William III continued to rule England and Scotland because they were joint Monarchs and did not have children.

So, given an impending succession crisis over the English throne, between early-mid 1701, the English Parliament draft and passed the Act of Settlement, which restricted the line of succession to Protestants only. But as an illegitimate son of King Charles II, he could never be on the list.

Over the next months, other key figures died. The former King James II died in September 1701, and the Jacobite claim to the thrones of England and Scotland passed to Charles Edward Stuart, the former Prince of Wales. While King William III died in March 1702, having been succeeded by another of his cousins, Queen Anne.

It was only in October 1702 that he took control over the Lennox estate, following the death of Frances Stewart, Dowager Duchess of Lennox. Over 27 years after he was created Duke of Lennox. But he immediately sold the estate.

Other major events happened in the first years of the 18th century. In 1707, the Kingdom of England and the Kingdom of Scotland were united under the Kingdom of Great Britain, with Queen Anne as its first Monarch. And, in 1714, the Queen died.

Since Queen Anne did not have surviving children, the next-in-line, per the Settlement, was Georg I, Prince-Elector of Hanover, who succeeded as George I, King of Great Britain.

Aged 50, in 1723, the first Duke of Richmond died in Sussex, in the Kingdom of Great Britain, where he had settled with his family.

Following his death, he was succeeded in his British titles by his only son, Charles Lennox, 2nd Earl of March. The Duchy of Aubigny continued to be held by his mother, who survived him by 11 years.

To this day, his descendants still hold the titles given to him by his father. The current holder is his 8x-great-grandson Charles Gordon-Lennox, 11th Duke of Richmond.

Regarding the Duchy of Aubigny, even though his descendants still use and claim the title, it reverted to the French Crown after the death of his mother in 1734. Though, some sources say it was recreated some years later.

These titles have had a long History in his family. They had been previously held by his ancestors of the House of Stewart of Darnley, the House of Tudor and the House of York. His ancestors include:

His 3x-great-grandfather Henry Stewart, Lord Darnley;

His 4x-great-grandfather Matthew Stewart, 4th Earl of Lennox;

His 6x-great-grandfather Henry VII, King of England, the 2nd Earl of Richmond;

His 7x-great-grandfather Edward IV, King of England, the 4th Earl of March; and

His 9x-great-grandfather John Stewart of Darnley, 1st Count of Évreux, the 1st Lord of Aubigny.

Once upon a time, there used to be a castle on the top of the golden peak of the Karasuno kingdom.

It was gigantic, a true masterpiece that represented the glourious kingdom that was Karasuno; ruled by their two kings with an iron grip and who received pure love and adoration from their subjects.

But, after the birth of their first son there was a great war between Karasuno and Aoba Johsai, the castle was torn apart and the prince disappeared never to be seen again.

Now, what used to be one of the greatest empires known to man was mearly known as miniscule ruins of nostalgia.

“Repair my church”. To the feast of Saint Francis.

St. Francis of Assisi Birth: 1181 Death: 1226 Feastday: October 4

After a crisis in his own life and after a period of searching for a deeper sense in life, Saint Francis hear Gods call. He was deeply touched. So deeply that he never looses the faith in God again. He recognized that God is not only the glourious and powerful God the church was talking about, that God is also near and close due to Jesus Christ.

Touched by the Holy Spirit he understand Gods calling to repair his church. So he got to understand the Gospel in a more completer and fullified way. And he was called to follow Jesus in a diffrent  and new way. In poverty, without any possession, going around to teach people Gods love. He repair the church not by fighting with authorities, not with great conflicts. He furthermore repairs by living the Gospel in a authentic and forcefully way. Be doing what he was saying. In a respectfully and appreciably dealing with others, the authorities,the poor, the  sick ones ... with everybody, with the whole creation of God.

He gave up all his money, everything he had, he become poor and get really reach. Because he get free from any possession, he get fulled with Gods love. He understand that money and possesion most of the time causes struggle. He understand that Jesus was poor. Because he loves Jesus with all his heart he wants to live similar to him. And he trust God that he will give him everything he need to survive.

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit!

God, you call Saint Francis to repair your Church. Let us understand what you call us today. Let us understand the need of the church(es) and the Christianity today. Make us able to understand, what you don’t like and what we should change. Make us able to solve problems with love and peace. Make us able to recognize, where we do things instead for you for our own possessions and advantages. Free us from our greed and avires. Not like we want. Like you want. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. God, you are the greatest, the most powerful and the most lovely and you came to close to use. With all our heart we want to tank you. Thank you for your eternal love. Make us able to live just for your love and to give your love to everybody. Amen.

Saint Francis, thank you for teaching us a way to follow Jesus. Thank you for showing us a different understanding of the Gospel. We are not able to make such great steps like you. We have our possessions and we are still looking for our advantages. Help us to get free and to focus everything we have on God. Help use to love every human beeing and the whole creation more than the money that rules our world. Help us to choose God, the Father, the Son,and the Holy Spirit. Help us to choose Jesus and his eternal love. Saint Francis, please pray for us.
