Alright everyone, I just thought of an awesome BCG AU called Partners in Crime.

It's one where Gloria goes through a villain arc like Chip and ultimately sides with him because of their mutual hatred of Cricket.

In general, the start of the show is the same, with Cricket still having to work at Big Coffee for his debt. However instead of Gloria growing close to Cricket, she gains a hatred of him further when working with him (barely tolerating his presence).

The major start of this AU is in Coffee Quest, where they still need to get the coffee beans.

In it, like usual, Gloria and Chip officially meet. However during the episode, Gloria grows a vengeance toward Cricket, so when Chip offers for her to work with him, she agrees and leaves Cricket for good.

So for the rest of the show, it basically functions the same, although with the future "Gloria episodes", they'd not exist whatsoever, with a few exceptions.

Some examples include:

Level Up, where in the AU, Cricket is the one to talk to Ms. Cho, and she allows Bill to expand his farm to the roof.

Remy is the one to help the Green family boost their sales and their online publicity instead of Gloria.

During season 3, when the Greens are away, Vasquez is set to look after the Green's house in Big City.

There's probably more but these were the ones that I remembered having an effect on the plot.

Another major change is that Chip episodes now have Gloria (or not depending). There may even be some episodes where Gloria and Chip take turns putting their plans in motion to take down the Green family to see who's plans are better when they bicker about it.

In terms of their dynamic. It's like an abridged version of Team Rocket (sort of). Gloria being the one with her fighting skills and being the sharper one of the two, and Chip having his manipulation tactics and business power. They may or may not (not so secretly) like each other too, with the occasional bickering about who's plans are better.

So with this in mind, Chipocalypse may happen sooner (or not depending).

Also this would mean that both Chip and Gloria are present in this scene:

Not to mention that the twisted Chipocalypse intro would have both of them in it.

Now, instead of Gloria helping Cricket and Remy, it'd be some random employee who wants to get back at Chip with his mistreatment and he feels sorry about Cricket's situation and they help them into Chip's office.

This means that both Chip and Gloria take an attempt on Cricket and the Green's family lives together.

Just think of this scene, but with both of them coming to a mutual agreement simultaneously to kill the Greens.

This also means that they're both flung away in the helicopter and that they both fake their deaths to get back at the Green Family.

Sorry if this is long, when I get an idea, I have to get it out there. Hope this all seems coherent enough for all of you to understand.

Gloria shut herself up as they heard yet another noise from the alleyway, and a huge ominous silhouette painted the brick walls of the neighboring buildings. The two stood paralyzed in fear as they watched the shadow move closer, and closer, and closer, until a hand peered out from the darkness.

They looked at each other, breathed, and started screaming, as Chip jumped into her arms in an attempt that maybe if the attacker saw their love they’d let them go or something.

However, Gloria’s screaming subsided as soon as she heard the attacker’s voice. Huh, the attacker sounded strangely like a little girl. As Chip continued screaming, Gloria cocked her eyebrow in confusion, opening her eyes to see the source of the voice.

“Um, ma’am, sir, are you two alright? Why are ya’ll screamin’?”, the little girl asks as she looks around herself.

Wow! This was a roller coaster to write. Honestly, I can't get enough of the concept of Chip and Gloria being parental figures. Rent Control really affected that stance as well. This was mainly just a daydream I had and decided to roll with it. Hoping to have multiple chapters!

Some GloChip Prompts

(ayy here’s my first batch of prompts, feel free to use any of these if you want, if not that’s cool too, hopefully you had fun just seeing them lol.)

-Early into their relationship they hit a breaking point one date night where Chip has to choose between once again trying to get back at the Greens or finally letting go of his hatred for a second so he can finish his date with Gloria. 

-They both really like playing with the other's hair. Chip'll braid Gloria's ponytail whenever her head is turned and Gloria just likes brushing Chip's hair, something about it just relaxes her

-Gloria's dead set on helping Chip be more independent. This week she's gonna make him learn how to -insert boring everyday activity our rich boy wouldn't know how to do- but man does Chip not make it easy on her. 

-Chip is constantly embarrassing Gloria with his excessive PDA (public displays of affection), especially whenever he comes into Big Coffee, so Gloria's decided to get back at him by giving him a taste of his own medicine. (Bonus points if you make the setting wholesome foods) 

-Gloria's starting to get annoyed at Chip constantly offering to buy her art, she's sold him three paintings already and she knows he's only buying them to make her feel better and that they probably just end up in storage or stuffed in his closet. At least that's what she thought, til she walked into his office one night…

Not me rambling about GloChip(Gloria Sato/Chip Whistler) again oops-

So like, I’ve joked with a friend about this before ,but like I’d like to think Gloria would be fairly nervous about introducing Chip to her parents because of their high standards and well, because it’s Chip.

And Idk why ,but I’ve always imagined that Mr. and Mrs. Sato actually end up really liking Chip, like a bit too much actually. As in they start comparing Gloria to him like,

Mr. Sato “Gloria you really should get a better paying job like your boyfriend.”

Gloria “What? You mean the job his Dad gave him??”

Mr Sato “It never hurts to have connections.” 

Queue Gloria slamming her head into the table adjaklsdbjd

On the flip side though, I also imagine Gloria and Mr Whistler totally being bffs. Like he’ll totally call her up randomly to tell her about something cool he found at the flea market.
