ohhh glitchfell???

Glitchfell!!! It's funny you mention that specifically, because originally it had just been to separate Dos specifically, but I've actually been developing it on its own on the back burner...

Dos is still sort of the star of the show, since, well, he’s the reason it's glitchfell. Dos is [REDACTED]. However, his creator made a fatal flaw when trying to fix a previous mistake and it completely fucked Dos' code. At first, it was just minor glitching and stat instability. But as he got older, and the attempts to fix the mistake only continued making it worse (sort of), by the time he was a young teen, the glitching was causing problems in the Main Code, so when a particularly bad episode hit, he unintentionally collapsed the timeline and threw himself to a "neighboring" au.

...or so he thought (and how I'd initially written it lol).

But I've been working with, at least an alternate "timeline", where the au didn't actually collapse when Dos was thrown. Rather, it became corrupted. It wasn't too bad at first, more like Glitchedswap, where there were new tics here and there, but things could continue on as normal.

Unfortunately though, a tree cannot grow from a severely damaged trunk. At least not well. The damage was done, and as time went on, the corruptions only continuously worsened. There's a good likelihood it would have collapsed on its own by the time Dos met Void, there's just no way an au like that could sustain itself after a point, but it's incredibly interesting to think about how far it could've fallen before that point, and if it's possible anyone from it could've been saved before then...

Or if anyone would've put them out of their misery before it got so bad.

TrafficVesselFell

Anon and Alibi were trying to pull their dad from the void. Instead they got a dying human child, yippee! It’s fine though because a mysterious multiverse traveler shows up offering help, and over time, Al winds up falling for him and his husband. It works out surprisingly well!

Mafiaswap

So a mob boss walks into a flower shop-

Fr tho that’s what happens. Two shop owner acquaintances, Edge, a florist, and Alibi, a book retailer, wind up entangled with the district’s local mafia family, and ultimately end up in a relationship with one of the dons, Stretch (Luck).

Contract

Stretch accidentally summons a demon. A duo of hunters try to cast the demon, Edge, from the mortal plane. Instead, one of them, Alibi, winds up falling in love with both contractor and contractee. Somehow works out happily.

It takes (multiple) near death experiences but they finally just talk about their feelings and wind up together =*)

Edge was an abandoned lab experiment with a vampire mutation. Nurse Blue and Caseworker Alibi are assigned to him in a ditch effort to rehabilitate him before he’s deemed too unsafe and euthanized. Of course it goes well and Edge eventually stays with the swap brothers once released, which is also when the usual suspects fall in love together.

Literally idk how to summarize this one. The underground is basically just cyberpunk 2420 or whatever, Edge and Al both run rebellion factions and Stretch is but a humble mechanic who winds up involved in their shenanigans.

Young Contract except Edge was branded with a special sigil to hide him and make him appear mortal. Toriel raises him until it’s eventually discovered he’s a demon and the TrF bros help him and his bf Stretch hide.

Through a series of bizarre events, Lace is “gifted” to the recently crowned king Alibi. After the barrier finally breaks, the two of them break away and start a new life together, where they also meet Stretch.

Voice

Those from TrF have the unique ability to imbue their voices with their magic. However, due to circumstances, Alibi cannot speak. This doesn’t stop Edge and Stretch from falling for him all the same.

Edge is a mer creature. Stretch is a mortal helping him find his way home. Alibi is a pirate giving them a lift. Works out, after a few complications.

Edge is a different type of mer creature, while Alibi is the Royal Guard stationed on a remote post whom Edge loves to bother in his free time. Stretch is a charter who somehow winds up tangled up with the two.

Edge is a sort of god-entity, reincarnated avatar type…being. Alibi is his devoted bodyguard and Stretch is one of his dedicated Judges. He’s not really supposed to get so attached to individuals, but the “Elder Priests”…don’t really know how to stop him! Lol

Alibi is the lone survivor after the sailors who’d been helping him with a curse are attacked by pirates. He was saved by a curious mer creature, who then dedicates himself to helping as well. Eventually, they meet Stretch, a brilliant mage who specializes in curses. Convenient!

Mirror AU except Edge now has Hanahaki disease.

It’s not entirely impossible...

An Underfell version of Glitchtale.

They say it can’t work because that would ruin the characters? Well, HA! I say. 

Sure, if all you do is coat everyone in red and give them edgy personalities, of course the story���s gonna fall apart. That’s why you have to make changes.

Here are a few of my ideas.

Season 1:

First, Papyrus plays a role in Season 1. I can understand Sans wanting to protect his brother in the original, but UF Paps is (often depicted as) Captain of the Royal Guard for a reason. I see him being present for the fight in the barrier chamber. Plus, I don’t think Sans could keep the crisis a secret even if he tried. This Papyrus seems like the kind of guy who, if he isn’t told what’s happening, is going to find out anyway.

Second, how does Sans bring Gaster back? I may not be a huge expert, but UF sans doesn’t exactly seem like he would have as much of a scientific background as the original. Regardless, the way I see it playing out is that he’s a bit like Grunkle Stan in Gravity Falls. He isn’t really an expert with the machine, but he still spent years trying his best to understand and fix it.

Third, I see Gaster as having a personality reminiscent to that of Rick from Rick and Morty. After spending who knows how long in the void, he’s become a nihilist, although being freed has improved his mood a bit. He also has a pretty big ego. It doesn’t take much to convince him to help. His mindset is probably something along the lines of “Eh, might as well try a good ending. At least it’ll be interesting.”

I don’t really know much of how Hate would work in a world like this. I don’t how Chara would specifically act, nor do I know what to do with Asriel and Flowey.

Season 2:

First and foremost, only the base cast is full of Edgelords. Everyone else, A.K.A. the humans on the surface and Betty, stays the same. Why? Because it wouldn’t make sense, it’s easier manage, and it would be hilarious.

Second, Frisk is more involved with the politics. They work alongside Asgore for a lot of things and advise him often to make sure things go smoothly. Something tells me this man isn’t as patient as his OG counterpart.

Third and funniest, Betty has an extremely difficult time getting anything done. Picture this: she goes in, thinking she can easily spy on and deceive the monsters only to realize she’s a little out of her league. Remember, these monsters are battle-hardened warriors who have lived in a very dangerous society. Paranoia is probably a common trait shared among many of them. I can totally see Sans and Papyrus escorting Frisk everywhere they go - or at least Sans because Papyrus told him to - for protective reasons. Also, when they bring Betty to Gaster to research her soul trait (assuming she makes it that far), the man immediately thinks something is up. Perhaps he prefers to think he knows everything than to acknowledge that he might have missed something. Maybe he did research into forbidden spells. Or, maybe he just can’t believe that there’s still something new and exciting left to see in the world.

“I’ve cultivated my genius by researching souls for 800 years, kid. What’s more likely? That a trait that I’ve never heard of just whooshes into existence, or that someone’s trying to pull as fast one on me? Don’t bother answering; it’s the latter.” 

“No, I couldn’t have ‘missed it.’ Determination souls can only exist one at a time, and we found those didn’t we? Do you really think there’s something rarer than that? ‘Cause there isn’t.”

This isn’t necessarily how I think he would talk, it’s just an example. Although, I do like the idea of him answering his own questions. Also, he should definitely be very egotistical, which could first be demonstrated while explaining the core to Jessica.

“Electricity bi- Did you even listen to my conference? Do you even understand what this brilliant piece of technology can do?”

*Teleports the group the Core for a quick, spiteful tour of it’s chambers.

That’s pretty much all I’ve got for now. Although Toriel definitely shouldn’t be able to open a school in this version. Then how does Betty’s trait get revealed? I don’t know. Some other way. If Betty sucks in this world, who’s the antagonist? Jessica, maybe? She’s always had that potential. Or, it could just be a comedic what-if scenario meant to give Betty a hard time.

I love it a lot! Excellent story.

I found a combination of Underfell and Glitchtale, and decided to contribute to it! I went a little crazy with shading, but overall, I’m proud of it.

I didn’t want to change the color palette too much, but I didn’t want to barely change it either. Underfell is mainly red and black, but Betty is mainly pink and purple. What I did was make some of the pink more of a red-pink so it could be seen as either, and made the purple darker and less saturated so it could be seen as either purple or black. The skirt is torn like Amber’s was when she died.

The way I shaded kinda ruined it, but whatever.

The main idea is that Amber tried to fight back when Agate tried to kill her, but didn’t succeed. Betty was created from Amber’s soul which didn’t want to completely die, but she’s Amber in the same way GT!Betty is Agate. In other words, she isn’t, they just share a soul. She is a lot more sympathetic than canon Betty in a way. She dislikes monsters and considers herself a protector of humans, but she isn’t right in the head and won’t hesitate to kill a human if it suits her. She genuinely cares about Frisk and Jessica in a platonic way and is convinced she’s saving them from monsters. She is genuinely distraught when shot by Jessica or when Frisk goes crazy after she kills Asriel.

What are some weird things Ichigo and his friends have been caught doing? Example: Karin discovering her brother eating from a jar of peanut butter... In the bathtub. At two AM. No explanation was ever given.

So I know you said Ichigo, buttt first one’s gonna be-

Kon, one time while taking Ichigo’s place, was caught by Yuzu climbing into the window of Ichigo’s room, candy bar hanging out of his mouth and a bag of take out around his wrist. Yuzu was going to the bathroom in the middle of the night, so she half assumes it was a dream... but she wouldn’t ask about it after getting the feral look he gave while climbing inside.

Orihime’s taste in food is weird enough, but one time Ichigo found out about her candle collection. Let’s just say he hopes that she never lights the pickle scented one near him. And that wasn’t even the weirdest scent.

Uryuu doesn’t sleep walk, no, when he’s stressed--he sleep sews. It can be so bad that it happens at school... Tatsuki caught him sewing during an off period at school, went to ask him a question and forced him to wake up. She’s still confused on how he didn’t prick himself.

Ichigo has been through some shit, so he sometimes has nights that he doesn’t sleep at all. It only gets worse as stress rises or tests at school. It’s gotten so bad, that he actually passed out on the stairs heading to make a late night snack after three or so days of lack of sleep. Let’s just say that when he hears noises, he immediately wakes up again... and you don’t need a sleep deprived Ichigo laying on the stairs staring at you as you try to go up them in the dark night. It’s happened to all three of the other members, and even Rukia, of the Kurosaki family. All of them have had nightmares about the scene.
