"Today and every day, we ride for you, Gino." — Team Bahrain Victorious
Wout Poels wins stage 15 of the Tour de France exactly a month after Gino Mäder's death.
Like his teammate and stage 10 winner Pello Bilbao, he dedicates his win to Gino:
"I always dreamed to win a stage at the Tour. Especially with what happened in the team in the last three weeks with Gino, all the emotions came. It's just incredible. I won a Monument and now a stage in the Tour. I'm super happy."

In my last post, I wrote about the tragedy of Mäder and the safety in cycling. We need for more safety in our sport, with riders that could feel comfortable doing their job.
As always, the post is in Spanish. You can translate it if you want.

If you only watch one video today, make it that one.
It is honest, emotional, open. Mohoric is a terrific bike rider who just won his 3 Tour de France stage today (and an extremely difficult one - he was in a breakaway with Kasper Asgreen, who won yesterday , and Ben O’Connor). For the one who don’t, when he points to the sky and mentions Gino, he is talking about Gino Mäder, a forever 26 year-old cyclist who was his teammates and died after a crash in the Tour de Suisse a bit over a month ago.

Theo’s Buitelingen (52): A tombeau ouvert...
