How do the characters address each other? Do they have any nicknames or pet names?

Hello, and thank you! I didn't see this before, sorry.

The women usually just call each other by their given names, but only Pallas calls Rosaespina by "Rosita" sometimes. Rosaespina uses "Gigs" to refer to Giustizia, something she doesn't like. All the women call Giustizia "madam" during working hours and in front of customers and other men in order to show her as the figure of authority there.

As for the men, for a long time they are referred by formal adressing. It's not until very late in the story that Pallas dares to call Kurt by his given name, and only adresses Bernhardt by name while in private. Rosaespina of course has nicknames for all customers.
