Holy smokes we're at update 7 and chapters 12 and 13.
This update is pretty much a 101 course on Alaric. ALSO, continuity to canon is a pain in the buttttttt btw. I had to rewatch a bunch of s4 to make sure I lined things up correctly. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy this bit of the main two and more ninja family fluff.

Hello! I am the one who submitted Marietta Lloyd, I know she will probably not enter because surely I am the only one who submitted her, but I think she should be in the tournament because by not many people knowing who she is, she is getting away with the awful things she did! We can't let that happen! Everyone must know the monster she is!
hi, anon! you are indeed the only one to submit marietta lloyd. however, to make sure everyone know about the terrible things she's done, I've copied the propaganda you sent in and put it under the cut. everyone who follows me can read about her, even if she doesn't get in
read on about marietta lloyd!!
Okay so she was a poor girl that married for convenience, his husband was one of the richest men in the kingdom, together they had twins. At first, Marietta thought that she was going to have two boys, but was surprised when she ended up having a boy and a girl, Gavril and Gianna, looking at Gianna, she decided she was going to give her daughter the life she never had.
Everything alright until that moment right? Which mother doesn't want to give her kid the world? Well, that's when the problems started. First lets start with Gavril, Marietta only had eyes for Gianna, so she never played any attention to her son, basically ignoring his existence and never showing him ANY kind of love, she never hid the fact she only "loved" Gianna and that her son meant nothing to her. Even in a fight with her husband (he was getting tired of her toxic behaviour and wanted to get a divorce and leave with the kids), she says to him that he can leave with Gavril if he wants to but that Gianna belongs to her, Gavril hears that and breaks thinking why his mother doesn't love him, the only time she thought of him was when she needed Gavril to tell his best friend Emil, who is also the prince, that he should marry Gianna, aside of that, completing ignoring him. But if you thought that was everything, wait until you find out what she did to Gianna. While Gavril was the one that was ignored, Gianna was the one who received all the attention, incredible right? Wrong. Since a young age Gianna was heavily controlled by her mother in EVERYTHING, the way she looked, acted, dressed, what she did as a hobby, in her classes, the friends she had, how much she was allowed to eat, basically Marietta forced her daughter to be perfect, if she made a mistake or dissobeyed in any kind of way,
Marietta locked her into a small and dark room, and leaved her without eating. Marietta constantly screamed at Gianna, and told her she was useless and couldn't do anything on her own, that she had no value without her, forcing her wish of being queen on her daughter. When Emil needs to marry to become King he has to choose between his three best friends, one of them being Gianna (the other ones are Mila and Elyon, the most important for this is Elyon), that's when Marietta becomes even more obssesive, telling Gianna over and over again that she has to marry Emil, telling mean things about her friends. But what I consider to be the worst of all is that when realizing Elyon and Emil where in love, she sends an assasin to kill Elyon (which, technically, she ends up doing) so Gianna could marry Emil, and has no shame in admitting this to her daughter and making Gianna feel guilty about Elyon's death (because Gianna told her mother about Emil and Elyon's relationship).
Her other crimes include:
•Slapping Gianna so hard she has to use make up to hide her bruises, Marietta also pulls Gianna's hair from time to time •When Gianna eventually marries Emil, Marietta tells Gianna that she has to have sex with Emil and bring a heir to the throne, despite Gianna not being interested at all in having sexual relationships (she is asexual) •Following what was said above, one day Marietta hits Gianna very hard as a punishment for not having sleep with Emil yet, and tells her not to come back until she has done so. Which leads into Gianna almost forcing herself to have a sexual relationship she didn't want (lucky for her, Emil realized something was wrong and stopped before it could go too far) •Disregard her daughter's healing gifts despite her being one of the best healers in the world •Telling Gianna constantly that she is useless and would never accomplish anything without her •Trying to kill Elyon with her own hands in front of Gianna
Summary: She is an awful mother who says she is doing everything for her daughter while in truth it's only to feel better about herself, treating her daughter like trash and her son like he doesn't exist.

From historic achievements to tear-jerking farewells, these moments have left an indelible mark on basketball fans everywhere. So, let's watch the unforgettable events that showcase the true spirit and emotional depth of the NBA. Top 10 Most Emotional NBA Moments That Touched Millions!
Kevin Garnett's Iconic Legacy: Kevin Garnett's 21-year NBA career is nothing short of legendary. Drafted straight out of high school by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 1995, Garnett played for the Timberwolves, Brooklyn Nets, and Boston Celtics.
His memorable "Anything is possible!" declaration after winning the NBA Finals with the Celtics remains a defining moment of his career.
Allen Iverson Returns to Philadelphia: Allen Iverson's triumphant return to the Philadelphia 76ers in 2009 was a heartfelt reunion.
Despite his years away, Iverson's connection with Philadelphia fans remained unbreakable, culminating in an emotional reception upon his return.
The Evolution of Rebounding in the NBA: Imagine a time when rebounds weren't officially tracked! In 1950, the NBA began recording this crucial stat, leading to legendary performances like Wilt Chamberlain's 55-rebound game.
This change revolutionized the way we understand and appreciate players' contributions on the court. Dirk Nowitzki's Emotional Farewell: Dirk Nowitzki's farewell to the Dallas Mavericks and the NBA in 2019 was a touching tribute to a player who dedicated his entire career to one team.
From leading the Mavericks to their first NBA Championship in 2011 to his final game in Dallas, Nowitzki's journey is one for the ages. The Pioneers of Integration in the NBA: In 1950, Chuck Cooper, Nat Clifton, and Earl Lloyd broke racial barriers in the NBA.
These trailblazers paved the way for future generations, with Lloyd being the first black player to step onto an NBA court. Their contributions were monumental in shaping the league's inclusive future. Vince Carter's Return to Toronto: Vince Carter's initial return to Toronto as an opponent was met with boos.
However, over time, Raptors fans' sentiments shifted. During the team's 20th anniversary celebration, Carter was finally greeted with cheers, showcasing the power of time and reconciliation.
Michael Jordan's Emotional Championship Victory Without His Father: Michael Jordan's 1996 Championship victory was especially poignant, coming three years after his father's tragic murder. Winning on Father's Day, Jordan's tears and raw emotion highlighted the deep bond he shared with his father.
The NBA World Mourns Kobe Bryant's Tragic Passing: The sudden loss of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and seven others in a helicopter crash in 2020 shocked the world.
The global outpouring of grief and tributes at the Staples Center underscored Kobe's profound impact on the basketball community and beyond. A Symbol Beyond Sports: The NBA Logo: The NBA logo, featuring the silhouette of Jerry West, has been an iconic symbol since its creation in 1971.
It represents the essence of basketball and remains a timeless emblem of the league. Steals and Blocks Finally Recognized: The defensive prowess of players like Nate Thurmond was evident even before steals and blocks were officially recorded as stats in 1974.
This change highlighted the importance of defense and allowed for a more comprehensive appreciation of players' skills.

2012’s successor, quarantine life, the Philippine government, and everything else in between
To begin with, 2020 seemed dreamlike – this year was somewhat a clash of heavenly entities and hellish forces. The universe was not kind to us this time. Doing activities and routines outside were put to a halt, but with humans' confinement in their houses, it made our situation worse. 2020 has been a fast yet long year, and we may all feel that time now is linear.
Allow me to borrow a line from the 1972 film Grease: This is the life of illusion, wrapped up in trouble, laced with confusion.
Most would agree that the words above sum up the year 2020. An unfortunate series of events have taken place – from the Australian Bushfire crisis, the Iran-US conflict to earthquakes in Mindanao and the eruption of Taal Volcano in Batangas – and these events have transpired in the first quarter of 2020. It seems like a frightening state to begin the year.
Afterwards, life was starting to be okay. People were adjusting with initial solutions to problems and ready to start anew, but coronavirus emerged. Reports say the first local coronavirus case struck in January – and due to a rise in positive cases, collective fear transpired in March, thus declaring coronavirus as a pandemic.
During the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in March, changes were relatively minimal since people could continue their businesses at home. But some of which lost their jobs resorted to starting food businesses or grieve because of said situation.
It's funny yet disturbing to witness that the government officials thought of matters that are supposed to be "important", but negate the needs of ordinary citizens. There were also debates about the enforcement of travel ban during the first quarter of 2020, but to our disdain, it was never taken seriously. In the end, we suffered a lot from their gambit during people exclaiming for assistance.
People get nervous each time the government transitions to the loosened GCQ. Businesses, travel, and movement imposed some restrictions, but there's the liberty of people to go out and do [unimportant] stuff. Some boomers also mentioned that this pandemic is a divine intervention, telling us to step up our faith and keep praying until we see the hope of day. So weird to think of.
As time passes by, everyone has set and bat their eyes on social media. With boredom and temporary pleasure, the rose of TikTok dance challenges has become a trend, along with experimenting DIY recipes and snacks. The creation of support and humorous Facebook groups has also been a craze, helping us cope while in quarantine by sharing memes, tips, tricks, tutorials, and advice according to members' inquiries and concerns.
Though these temporary distractions made us somewhat feel on edge, social hurdles increased such as unemployment rates. A few lucky corporate employees are compelled to the transition to work from home; and for students to continue their education online. Some were not ready for this sudden change of lifestyle as they may lack the resources and mental capacity to keep moving forward. Along with financial issues inflating, hopes and dreams feel deteriorated.
2020 did not feel the need to stop, as it delivered more than we ever expected. There is the shutdown of ABS-CBN, the demise of George Floyd, hence advocating the socio-political movement #BlackLivesMatter, and the implementation of the Anti-Terrorism Bill, as it being unconstitutional inflicted dangerous implications towards the society.
Throughout the ber months, people thought of celebrating the holidays is something we all looked forward to, yet another shooting incident caused by the police emerged. Jonel Nuezca, an off-duty police officer, shot his two unarmed neighbors, Sonya and Frank Gregorio, due to a heated discussion over right of way and the use of a boga. The untimely shooting incident emerged on social media, along with netizens expressing their protest with the acronym A.C.A.B (All Cops Are Bastards), and the hashtags #StopTheKillingsPH, #JusticeForSonyaGregorio, among others. These phenomena struck us of the social realities we ought to face.
Not to mention some of the heart-breaking deaths of celebrities this year: NBA legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna, actress and singer Naya Rivera, and YouTube vlogger Lloyd Cafe Cadena, made us feel disposable. Netizens can’t help but spit these words with spite: GRABE KA, 2020!
Once a new year has come, people always claimed that it would be their breakthrough. 2020 was the most anticipated year for redemption, but unexpected turnovers left us clueless on what’s in store for us in the following days, dominating anxiety and resentment. It is then claimed that this pandemic may change our lives forever.
People could go all night, overthinking about the simplest and pettiest stuff. With chaos going on, the utmost priority should be safety, security, and survival. One's daily routine felt timid, hence the desire to feel free again. People are now forcing themselves to perform their duties and just call it a day.
No one gets ready for a pandemic. There may be warnings beforehand, but it isn’t the ordinary citizens’ fault – it’s the government’s accountability to look after. As much as possible, I do not want to sound overly political, but the government’s incompetence affects the rise of numerous COVID cases each day – why plenty of Filipinos still suffer and plenty of then-employees remained jobless.
It’s a good thing that searching for new ways to thrive is an innate feature we acquire. However, I also do not want to glorify our resiliency, as being a Filipino is commonly construed as “resilient people.” If there comes a similar situation in the future, people should use their “resiliency” to stay at their homes, and be careful at the very least. But one thing that needs to be changed is the decision-making and planning of our government officials. The birth of our chaos came from them, so it shall end from them.
We are close to bidding farewell to 2020, yet the glimmer of hope seems far away to be achieved. Ambiguity lingers as we ask ourselves “What does 2021 have in store for us?” Are there people still looking forward for more pains and unfavorable events and perceive them as a leeway to unlock the tool of growth and our power to keep moving forward? Are we still going to settle for the bare minimum and keep our “resiliency” intact?
With all these points elaborated, this now begs the question: did the world really end in 2012? Or these unfortunate events are just unusual to us and we are, more or less, capable of taking action to undermine our demons?

OFF THE GRID AND INTO THE SKY RETREAT
I was in a yoga retreat hosted by the fantastic yoga teacher Pedro Luna at Sky Retreat in North Carolina; therefore, I want to share my experience with all of you, beautiful souls!
First, I lost my flight! But the American Airlines staff allowed me to fly on the next flight to North Carolina. On the flight, I sat down next to a lady watching videos on her phone on speaker. I couldn't sleep during the flight! Luckily, the flight was quick, so I killed time reading my book. When I finally was at Sky retreat, I went to my cabin to nap before the evening yoga class. Well, I missed about 40min of the yoga class because I forgot to put my alarm to wake me up. However, Pedro allowed me to join for the last 15-20min of the yoga class!
I went hiking to see a beautiful waterfall with the tribe, but it looked like I twisted my left ankle on my way back through the hiking trail! I didn't feel any pain or soreness until Wednesday.
Then I went tubing, and when I was about to get out of the river, I slipped and landed on my glutes! I get out with my shorts full of mud. This may worsen my left ankle injury because I felt soreness on my left ankle during the evening yoga class and dinner. So I asked Pedro if he could find me an ace bandage to stabilize my left ankle. Luckily, Pedro asked Beth Anderson, the manager of the Sky Retreat, who was able to provide me with an ace bandage.
The next day, I was able to do the morning yoga routine without any soreness on my left ankle. I skipped lunch because I was full from breakfast that morning. Then, I had a fantastic healing massage by Beth Anderson. I couldn't do the yoga routine in the evening because I wanted to keep my left ankle iced suggested by two tribe members, Rene and Giana. Another tribe member, Jackie, was lovely to give me Arnicare to apply on my left ankle.
On the last day, it was the saddest day of the whole retreat because it was the day to say goodbye to everyone! However, it wasn't a goodbye for me; it was a see you soon! At Charlotte airport, I was stopped by security because I had two bottles of Coca-Cola on my backpack, my water bottle had water on it, and a bottle of bug spray on my carry-on. I didn't mind going back to the start of the checkpoint process because I had plenty of time to spare before my flight back home. On my flight back home, a guy took my seat next to the window, but I ended up becoming friends with him! We even watched Wonder Women 1984 on my phone together! When I arrived at Fort Lauderdale airport, there was a rain cloud, so the airplane flew over the airport for about 30 min until the rain cloud was gone to land. Lastly, when I was out of the airport waiting for my parents to pick me up, I waited like 30-45 min at the baggage claim because my parents were late.
Even though I lost my flight, twisted my ankle, slipped and fell at the river, stopped by Charlotte airport security, waited for my parents to pick me up, it was an unforgettable experience!
I met incredible people who are like-minded and vulnerable!
In just a few days, I felt attached to these people! I'm grateful to meet them! I'm thankful to share memories with them! I'm thankful to share many delicious meals from Chef Jose Luna with them for the past week! I'm so grateful they share their story with me!
I'm so grateful to spend this experience with Summer Luna, Pedro Luna, Chef Jose Luna, Dane Walthers, Kelly Rodriguez, Penny Gardner, Uncle Charlie, Rene, Patricia, Pam Satty Brandsdorfer, Gianna, Katie Donof, Hearon Dickson, Sabrina Victoria, Carissa Caster Eisele, Mere, Mackenzie Krueger, Beth Anderson, Jackie, Mariana, Liliana, Lisa, and Lloyd!
Thanks so much for co-creating this experience with me and for becoming part of my life!

His memorable "Anything is possible!" declaration after winning the NBA Finals with the Celtics remains a defining moment of his career.

Teen hosts Andrea Smith and Siri Phaneendra are joined by ebullient and talented cast members from the new Sean McNamara (Soul Surfer) directed film, Mighty Oak: Tommy Ragen, Gianna Harris, Rodney Hicks, and Ben Milliken. Mighty Oak is the story of Gina (Janel Parrish, Pretty Little Liars, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before), a band manager who struggles after losing her brother/lead singer (Levi Dylan) in a fatal car accident while traveling to a gig.  A decade later, Gina meets a 10-year-old music prodigy named Oak, played by Tommy, a real-life prodigy whose music inspired the screenplay.
