In a hypothetical Ghost of Tsushima sequel... I want Ryuzo to live and Tomoe to come back. I want them to be like the shadow versions of Jin and Yuna and save the island. The new dynamic duo.

I got it in my head that Jin has always wanted to be a dad, but once the war starts and he starts becoming the Ghost, that road seems to shut on him. Who wants to live as the wife of a marked man, and what could he pass to the heir of a disbanded bloodline?

But I can't see him being single for the rest of his life, and I don't just mean casual sleeping around. He would be one of those people who somehow get locked down, and once he's quietly married he'll sit there wondering, "When did this happen?"

I do see him as bisexual, especially given that samurai were allowed to have relationships with other men (it's a specific age gap type of relationship, but from what I've read, that doesn't mean the door was shut on adult samurai having relationships with each other either), but when it came to actual marriage, it was expected that they end up with women because of how people expected gender roles to work when it came to starting a family.

So...I think one of two things could happen:

He has a child with Yuna. I absolutely do not ship this by a million miles (no hate to the ship, I just very strictly see them as bros), but she's the only woman he can get close to without dragging her into danger by association with him. It's very much a case of "my best friend and I made a pact that if we're still single by forty, we'd get married."

Or he finds a woman who willingly throws herself into a life on the run, or already is, and they become inextricably involved with each other. It could even be Tomoe. He sneaks onto the mainland on a mission, to the capital of Japan itself...and, well...

I have a lot of complicated feelings about this, given that Jin was most likely raised being taught that blood is everything. But the way he was raised, his relationship with his elders, and eventually the found family he ends up with at the end of the game tell a completely different story.

Currently in my brain on repeat is the quest where Jin meets Tomoe but at first she pretends to be a girl named Matsu and there's this. Vibe going on. I wanted to say it was mildly flirty but I'm not great at picking up subtle social cues so I'm like??? Am I reading this situation right?

And specifically my brain is stuck on the part where Jin says something like "if we ride any closer together we're going to have to share a horse" and it's funny but it also sticks out to me for some reason.

It's said they are bringers of death, and they sure look like it. But it seems more like they're seeking shelter from the war, just like the rest of us. I wonder who they really are?" The aliens' appearance already ended decades of scientific and philosophical debate... These moth people, their existence, it wasn't so hard to accept after that. Still, people cower in fear at the whirr of laser beams and wings alike... -this was meant to be a comic but it's taking wayyy to long to draw!!

Hello! I am 20 and I write maybe 200-400+ words, depending on the scene. Rarely less, sometimes more. I’m pretty slow with replies, just as a general thing. And I’m looking for other 18+ that can write about the same.

I’m looking for people interested in My Hero Academia, Haikyuu, and Ghost of Tsushima related roleplays. I’m open to both ccxoc and ccxcc. This is such a weird little quip, but after watching a shitton of Korean and Chinese media, which is my main, it's nice to play a game like Ghost of Tsushima where the characters are super gorgeous while having round faces and soft jawlines.

Like, look at that! They're in the north! They're on the same latitude as Henan and right beneath Busan! They don't need a ghostly pale complexion and knife-like jawline to be strong, attractive characters!

Hiiiiii, I meant to post this yesterday but I forgot 😬

Quick note: I named Naoya’s mother/Naobito’s wife Tomoe. Another name I got from Ghost of Tsushima because I think it’s super pretty.

“Do anything fun for your birthday?”

“Same as always.” She sipped her wine absently again. “Mom made a cake. I had an exam, so nothing big on the day of.”

She despised making small talk with him. Answering questions he asked while he pretended to give a shit. Pretended he even knew how to be a father. He hadn’t even been a good father to Naoya before Tomoe died, and he had been planned.

“Strawberry cake?” Naobito asked, his smile growing. “That’s your favorite, right?”

“Yeah.”

It used to be a treat growing up. Her mother would let her pick one thing from the bakery for herself, even the cake with the very expensive strawberries.

She had to admit the fact he knew about that surprised her. He’d never paid attention or cared about her birthday when she was growing up, and she knew she hadn’t told him. Tomoe must have mentioned it at some point when she’d tried to get him to show interest in Rinko’s life.

“It’s- I’m never sure what to get you, so I thought you could use this on whatever you’d like.”

He slid the envelope toward her as he furrowed his brow.

The same thing for the past three years. She really didn’t expect anything from him. Didn’t want it after this long, either.

She wasn’t completely ungrateful, but she wouldn’t pretend that she didn’t still hate him. That the price of her childhood without a father was a few expensive dinners and envelopes of cash on holidays and birthdays. She couldn’t be bought. He couldn’t get her to act like everything up until a few years ago never happened.

I mentioned something about this on the stream the other night, since in Stardew your dad sends you money occasionally 😂

So I decided to post this lil preview of Naobito trying to be a half-decent father and giving Rinko a birthday present 😬
