I got it in my head that Jin has always wanted to be a dad, but once the war starts and he starts becoming the Ghost, that road seems to shut on him. Who wants to live as the wife of a marked man, and what could he pass to the heir of a disbanded bloodline?

But I can't see him being single for the rest of his life, and I don't just mean casual sleeping around. He would be one of those people who somehow get locked down, and once he's quietly married he'll sit there wondering, "When did this happen?"

I do see him as bisexual, especially given that samurai were allowed to have relationships with other men (it's a specific age gap type of relationship, but from what I've read, that doesn't mean the door was shut on adult samurai having relationships with each other either), but when it came to actual marriage, it was expected that they end up with women because of how people expected gender roles to work when it came to starting a family.

So...I think one of two things could happen:

He has a child with Yuna. I absolutely do not ship this by a million miles (no hate to the ship, I just very strictly see them as bros), but she's the only woman he can get close to without dragging her into danger by association with him. It's very much a case of "my best friend and I made a pact that if we're still single by forty, we'd get married."

Or he finds a woman who willingly throws herself into a life on the run, or already is, and they become inextricably involved with each other. It could even be Tomoe. He sneaks onto the mainland on a mission, to the capital of Japan itself...and, well...

I have a lot of complicated feelings about this, given that Jin was most likely raised being taught that blood is everything. But the way he was raised, his relationship with his elders, and eventually the found family he ends up with at the end of the game tell a completely different story.

(tw SA) Red Dead Redemption 2: -Original Character & Van Der Linde gang: Minnie observes the gang's downfall from within while seeking her own redemption.

-also working on what a possible RDR3 might look like CROSSOVERS: SKY Children of the Light x V miniseries (1983-1984) "They appeared not long after the invasion. It's said they are bringers of death, and they sure look like it. But it seems more like they're seeking shelter from the war, just like the rest of us. I wonder who they really are?" The aliens' appearance already ended decades of scientific and philosophical debate... These moth people, their existence, it wasn't so hard to accept after that. Still, people cower in fear at the whirr of laser beams and wings alike... -this was meant to be a comic but it's taking wayyy to long to draw!!

im replaying ishikawa’s tales (the ones that are in izuhara at least) and i’m realizing just how much i (begrudgingly) enjoy this guy’s existence. he’s very stuck in his ways but he isn’t malicious about it like some people (cough. shimura) and he is—or at the very least seems to be—a good teacher. he is deeply intriguing and nuanced to me i wish someone else got this.

🐌 Hello! I am 20 and I write maybe 200-400+ words, depending on the scene. Rarely less, sometimes more. I’m pretty slow with replies, just as a general thing. And I’m looking for other 18+ that can write about the same.

I’m looking for people interested in My Hero Academia, Haikyuu, and Ghost of Tsushima related roleplays. I’m open to both ccxoc and ccxcc. For ccxoc I would prefer doubling (and I’m open to write cc’s outside the ones listed, though my characterisation might not be great), but I’m pretty flexible. All characters are 18+. 

I’m open to most pairings (I’m very selective when it comes to mxf where I play the f, though), with a slight preference for anything queer and anything poly. I’m also weak for rarepairs, just in general. And I’m open to nsfw as long as it serves a purpose for the story. 

When it comes to plot, I’m open to most things, canon-verse or AU. I have a few very vague plot ideas and AUs I’d be interested in, but again I’m pretty flexible. In general, I’m big on hurt/comfort, trauma recovery, complex relationships, gray morality and way too many other things. I’m also weak for some good action. And I’m open to a fair amount of darker topics.

This is such a weird little quip, but after watching a shitton of Korean and Chinese media, which is my main, it's nice to play a game like Ghost of Tsushima where the characters are super gorgeous while having round faces and soft jawlines.

Like, look at that! They're in the north! They're on the same latitude as Henan and right beneath Busan! They don't need a ghostly pale complexion and knife-like jawline to be strong, attractive characters!
