Which Resident Evil character is most likely to believe they've seen a ghost before? WINNER(S)!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fuck it, they both win!
Poor Rose is gonna have to forever listen to the story of that time mom and dad saw a ghost...
This also marks Ethan's fifth win! He will be taking the next three polls off to go on vacation.
Anyway, congrats to both, I guess lmao!

I follow a lot of cryptid and ghost pages, so believe me I love that type of stuff.
But any time someone starts talking about shadowy cats that only appear in the corners of their eyes I'm like "NOPE that is an extremely common form of hallucination and you should talk to a doctor instead of a Facebook cryptid page!!"

The Hampton Court Ghost refers to a figure seen on CCTV footage near the Hampton Court Palace in October 2003. A strange presence had started being reported by employees and visitors in early 2001 until this "apparition" appeared in court robes opening the door to the building. What is so unexplainable about the images is that the humanoid being doesn't appear to have a face.
Do you believe in ghosts?

You know sometimes I question if my belief in my house being haunted is another delusion… and then I remember the time I was home alone, on the toilet, when suddenly an invisible force turned the handle to my bathroom door and opened it wide. And then upon my exclaiming “Hello??” in confusion slammed it all the way shut like it had accidentally opened the door one someone.
With how my bathrooms set up there’s no way I wouldn’t have seen someone open the door (and I was home alone), and it wasn’t a gust of wind as all the windows were shut due to the cold weather.
I’ve also seen a full body apparition but that’s a story for another day (and significantly less funny)

do you believe in ghosts?
This nickel is really odd, but I've sort of adopted it as my vibe thing. It's always in my wallet, and I keep trying to figure out where it could have come from—especially since it's the only thing that could have made that sound when it hit the wooden floor in the hallway. The coin itself is weird, but the fact that it seemed to appear out of thin air is even weirder to me.
Later that night when my cousins got home, I didn't mention the coin, but I did bring up the strange noises I heard—like someone running up the stairs and knocking at one point. One of my cousins brushed it off as the neighbors, claiming he's heard similar sounds before. I almost wanted to ask him, "Did a coin magically appear for you too?" but then I remembered I was a pot head… nobody's going to believe a guy who's stoned practically 24/7.
I was a bit nervous to leave the room that night with the hallway light off, but one of my cousins pulled me aside and told me that their great uncle had died in the house we lived in. They mentioned that sometimes ghostly things happen in the house, which they attributed to their uncle. They added that sometimes, well, sometimes things happen that they can't explain—things that aren't so nice.
I sighed in relief, but before I could gather my thoughts, my cousins asked what was on my mind. I spilled about the strange occurrences at my parents' house and admitted that I was starting to think whatever was there had followed me. One cousin asked, "You believe you have an attachment?" An attachment? I asked, puzzled.
Then he asked me a series of questions: Do you ever feel sick out of nowhere? Exhausted? Can't sleep or eat normally? Have you had sleep paralysis? "Sleep paralysis? What's that?" I asked. He explained, and I answered yes to pretty much everything—these are regular symptoms for anyone with anxiety like myself.
He then asked, "Did you ever wonder when you got anxiety? Where it started? Did you just one random day have a panic attack and then out of nowhere it wouldn't stop?" Again, I said yes. "Have you ever had the feeling someone is looking at you? Standing behind you when you know it's not possible anyone is there, but you just have that gut feeling someone is? Felt insecure for no reason but to second guess yourself? Felt unwanted or the feeling of fear for no reason?" Yes, I've had all these problems, I said to him.
His conclusion? "It sounds like you have an attachment." Okay, so what do I do about this attachment? The short answer? "Pray," he said. If I wasn't rolling my eyes before, I was now at this point. "Really?" I replied. "What? Your answer is God?" I asked him.
"What's wrong with praying?" he responded. "Nothing," I said, "just… when do you ever get an answer doing that? You doing that is just something you manifest yourself." I added jokingly, "You could have told me to spray Lysol in my room, and I would have done that first."
"I'm going to bed," I told him. As I started to walk up the steps, the closet door at the bottom of the steps started to knock. Thinking it was my cousin messing with me, I quickly turned around about halfway up the staircase and noticed he was nowhere near the door. "Did you hear that?" I asked him. "How couldn't I?" he replied.
"Well… go ahead… check what's in there," he said. "Me? You want me to open the scary closet door, and I'm halfway up here?" we both laughed as I slowly came down the steps and reached my hand for the closet door, opening it slowly.
As if on cue, out of nowhere, the cat came running down the stairs, jumping over the railing and knocking everything near the TV off the stand. "What the hell?" we both exclaimed. I opened the door, and there was nothing… nothing in the closet.
"Well, I don't know what we were truly expecting when we opened it," I said. "Maybe it was just a breeze," my cousin suggested. "Yeah, maybe," I repeated to myself, closing the door. I turned around to say, "Well, that was a waste of time," before getting cut off by a loud bang on the inside of the closet door.
I jumped—or rather, I should say, I sprinted, hurdling over the coffee table onto the couch, repeating "oh hell no" out loud. My cousin stood in complete shock, just staring into the closet.
Suddenly, my other cousin, his brother, came and stood at the top of the steps from upstairs. "What the hell are you two doing down here that is making so much noise? Come here," we both screamed up the steps.
"What are you two crying about?" he asked as he walked down the staircase. "Bro… GHOSTS. WE HAVE GHOSTS," we exclaimed. We explained what happened, expecting the response we'd gotten earlier: "Stop smoking so much weed."
But this time, I realized my other cousin had heard it too. I was unsure what was happening with this door. Why was it not only happening to just me but both of us? Was it because we have the slight belief that ghosts can be real?
I didn't want to stick around to find out, so I ran up the steps into my room and smoked a bowl, reminiscing on what had just happened. What happened to us? Was that a ghost? Is the house just old? Are we freaking out for nothing?
I didn't know, and I didn't want to stay up late enough to the witching hour to find out. I thought to myself moments before I covered my head with my blanket and passed out on the bed. I don't want to know if they are ghosts at this point. I'm not even sure if I want to find out…

Yeah, this seems about right lmao!
Spotting and getting startled by a ghost seems like such a fun activity for a married couple... great bonding experience.
But we can only pick one winner here...

ghost :D
At the time of this recording I didn’t see or hear anything but turns out, the Oreo box in the back moved a bit and there was a small particle as you saw :)
I don’t think this little ghost is trying to do any harm so it can stay for now <3

This One Ghost That I Can't Get Out of My Head
It's so weird how just one ghost sighting almost 14 years ago in a shopping centre has still bothered me to this day...
Though this time, I thought about another sighting that has now bothered me even more now that I think about what that ghost looked like.
I guess I'm not sleeping anytime soon.
