Which dance careers were cut short, but you would like to know how far they could have gone? By this mean I mean, dancers who actually stopped their careers for whatever reason early or they didn't get the direction's support. Mine are: Nika Tskhvitaria, Nelly Kobakhidze, Romany Pajdak, Ghislaine Fallou and Svetlana Ivanova
ANASTASIA GORYACHEVA AT THE BOLSHOI. She is such a beautiful dancer and is so rarely cast and never got to dance the classic roles she would excel at. I mean, she would be amazing as Odette/Odile but she never danced it and now she's generally only cast in Onegin and The Nutcracker. It's awful.
Definitely Ivanova, her lack of soloist career makes me so sad/angry because she was such a stunning dancer. Good news is that she's now teaching at Vaganova, so her students can learn from her and bring it to stage.
Even though she's a prima, I would also say Ekaterina Shipulina because she never got to dance the classic roles she would excel at, especially Nikiya and Raymonda. Along these lines, Mikhail Lobukhin falls into the same category. He never Siegfried or Rubies (he would kick ass in Rubies) and now at the Bolshoi he is rarely cast in anything except principal character roles.

You know the amazing girl in pink leotard on the Paris Opera Ballet School video? This is her when she was a premiere danseuse at POB.
