Percorso Ghiaccio Part 1
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “Oh?  What is it…”
Ghiaccio: “...I should be the first to warn you, I have a temper that makes working together a hassle.”
>: Should I ask Ghiaccio for guidance?
      >: [Please help me!]
      >: [Do something else]
Ghiaccio: “Huh?  I thought I told you I don’t like working together.”
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “Despite that...you’re still persisting on it?  What are you doing?”
>: Ghiaccio seems pretty annoyed...
(((Note: If you don’t have a high enough patience stat, you’ll get a small rejection scene telling you at this point:
>: Capula does not have enough “patience” to spend the day with him…
>: ...I decide to quietly leave. )))
>: But due to Capula’s high “patience”, she can deal with his attitude…
>: [”Please!!!”]
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “Huuuhhhh???”
Ghiaccio: “If you still really want to after how much I’ve said no...I guess you can come along.  Fuck!”
>: It seems that he accepted my company somehow…
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “.......No helping it now.  Follow me.”
>: Ghiaccio drags me with him down to the basement…
>: ...........
Tumblr media
>: We arrive in the record room in the basement…
Ghiaccio: “Here, hold onto this document here…”
>: What do I answer?
      >: [”Why?”]
      >: [”Understood”]
---[”Why?”]---
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “Just do it and don’t complain.”
>: I was scolded by Ghiaccio...
(((Note: leads back to main dialog)))
---[”Understood”]---
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “...Well, at least you know how to listen to orders.”
>: Ghiaccio reluctantly praised me...
(((Note: leads back to main dialog)))
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “Look...I’m sorry if I come off as an asshole a lot, I just don’t like to waste time.”
Ghiaccio: “But me being sorry and looking after you doesn’t mean I’m going to go easy on you or treat you differently.”
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “I need you to find me a document somewhere in this room.  Let’s call this a test of character.”
>: What do I answer?
     >: [”Isn’t there something else I could do instead?”]
     >: [”Okay, I can take care of this”]
---[”Isn’t there something else I could do instead?”]---
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “You...you’ve got some nerve.”
(((Note: leads back to main dialog)))
---[”Okay, I can take care of this”]---
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “...Alright then.”
(((Note: leads back to main dialog)))
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “..........”
Ghiaccio: “............I’m not the type of guy that’d normally do that sort of thing, but I wonder if I could still kick their ass if they messes up…”
>: Ghiaccio’s muttering like I’m not even here...
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “Okay, I’m going back upstairs…”
Ghiaccio: “There’s plenty of time before I need any of this, so you don’t have to get it all done today.”
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “But while you’re going through all of this, put a lot of thought into if you really want me to be the one teaching you.”
Tumblr media
>: And so Ghiaccio leaves...
>: ...I decide to start organizing the materials.
>: ......Some time passes.......
Tumblr media
>: I was planning on taking a break as soon as I got tired, but I never even felt my eyelids get heavy.
>: I might actually be suited for this kind of work...
>: ........!
>: It feels like someone’s coming...
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “Hey, you...are you stupid or something?”
Ghiaccio: “I thought I told you we had time...you didn’t have to try and get it all done in one day.”
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “Do you even realize that it’s technically not even the same day as when you started?”
Ghiaccio: “What are you thinking you idiot!”
>: What do I answer?
    >: [”I didn’t even notice”]
    >: [”I wanted to stay out of everyone’s way”]
---[”I didn’t even notice”]---
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “How can you not even notice when you’re being stupid!  You’re going to make everyone worry about you.”
(((Note: leads back to main dialog)))
---[”I wanted to stay out of everyone’s way”]---
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “What?  That’s not something you should even be worried about!”
(((Note: leads back to main dialog)))
>: Ghiaccio seems offended about something...
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “............”
Ghiaccio: “....Fuck it, whatever.”
Ghiaccio: “I guess it’s sort of understandable...there’s no windows down here to help tell the time…”
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “Don’t worry about the rest of this, I’ll take care of it.”
Ghiaccio: “...I know I’m going to regret this later.”
>: I feel like I understand a little bit more about Ghiaccio now...
Tumblr media
>: New possibilities arise in Capula’s spirit...Capula developed the stand [Resist]!
Tumblr media
>: Was that some sort of new ability waking up…?
>: It’s sort of nauseating...
Ghiaccio: “Hey!  What’s going on Capula?”
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “.........Huh?  What stand?”
Ghiaccio: “Shit...you seem pretty out of it…”
Tumblr media
Ghiaccio: “Look, you can lean on my shoulder until we get you up to your room.”
>: With some help from Ghiaccio, I return to my room...
>: I was actually able to get Ghiaccio to try and teach me something!

Being Sorlato’s child + Being babysat by La squadra
A/N: Soooo, this is a direct sequel from the one-shot “Encounter” if you haven’t read it yet, feel free to browse it here
Genre: Fluff, platonic, wholesome headcanons
- After the encounter, the couple found themselves thinking about it all the time, how different they acted to a child at the face of danger, and how afraid they were and how quick they were to act upon instinct and save you. There was certainly something the couple felt in their chest they can’t fathom but somehow liked the pleasant feeling.
- One time Sorbet was found lounging around the La Squadra headquarters with a pamphlet regarding parenting whilst waiting for the meeting. When asked why he was reading that he nonchalantly replies that the thing was lying around and decided to read it because, “Why not?” One knows not to question him any further, so they let him be.
- Gelato was found longingly staring at parents with their kids on the playground whilst on a mission and again, no one dared to speak a word of it. He didn’t leave even if the mission was over, until Sorbet was called in and had to physically drag him away.
- They both knew it was getting out of hand because all they can think of now was wanting to raise a child of their own but they knew their circumstance were the least ideal to put a child in. For crying out loud, they kill people for a living and they didn’t really want to subject a child into this mess of their’s.
- “God, is this what baby fever feels like?”
- The couple has discussed about this, over and over than they can recall. When Gelato would suddenly mention, “You know, if we were to have a son I think that you can teach him how to ride a bike. That’d be sweet to watch to be honest.” or Sorbet saying, “If we were to have a daughter, I get to threaten her boyfriend to bring her back home before dinner.”
- Once again, they were out to go on their once a week date all to their selves and decided to go to the same restaurant they had to stop in to save the child. And on their way their, what are the odds, the aforementioned child coming up to them and greeting them.
“Ciao signore Sorbet! Signore Gelato!”
W-was this a sign???
 "Ahh, Y/N!" Gelato was practically enthusiastic, he can just pick you up, but of course, he has to bind himself down.
 "Out in the middle of the night again, I see." Sorbet points out.
 "Aheh, yes sir..." You sheepishly responded. "But I really have to do everything if I want to graduate elementary with high marks."
 - After a brief chat, weather, school and whatnot, once again you went on with your merry little way. After that, it was back for longing and yearning for the couple.
 - The rest of La Squadra noticed this, but didn't knew how to help; until Melone picked up on the signs the couple were exuding: Sorbet reading the parenting pamphlet, Gelato longingly gazing towards parents bonding with their children, the two of them talking away about 'If we were to have a child...'— why, Melone's diagnosis: Baby fever.
 - Melone somehow came up with an elaborate scheme involving an orphanage, did a couple of research. Due to some... Fortunate moment, somehow, someway, the figure running the same orphanage you resided in has made quite the list of enemies all his years.
 "Melone you know that you can just tell them it's okay for them to adopt the child, right???" Risotto looks up from the detailed, complex document sent in by Babyface's user.
 - Yes, it was stupidly complicated and a lot of work compared to just simply signing papers and adopting the child. The paperwork would be, again, stupidly complicated, but at least it doesn't involve bloodshed. It's not like the couple shied away from shedding blood but that wasn't the point.
 - Capo Risotto had to consider their circumstances to adopt a child. Like I said, the dilemma was killing them and simply can't act out of selfishness and adopt a child just because they wanted to, it wasn't the same as a adopting a pet.
 - Cue the four hour meeting with the couple, discussing about what they can do and what they cannot do. Risotto was most certainly happy for the two of them to be adopting a child of their own, taking care of them and along of those lines but again, the fact they are a part of a crime syndicate and there were a lot of things they discussed about.
 - After that, everything was settled and got started with the process of adopting the child. They didn't have to chose, they already had their eyes set on a specific kid; Y/N L/N, age eleven, abandoned by their parents when they were born, who adores reading and loves (insert food) and— what? They've done their research!
 - The couple was just beyond elated!
 - Through the process of adopting you they learned you were six
 - Now that fact was uncovered, they were now more concerned and pissed why the orphanage would neglect a first grader and let them return from school at eight in the evening. And the fact that they met you under the circumstance of danger, pretending to be the couple's kid in desperation.
 - Needless to say, a lot of things are going to change in your life, especially at the aspect of your security. They are a part of those people you should fear at night, admittedly gelato has almost pulled a gun on you that fateful night out of sheer jealousy, and didn't even register the fact you were barely half Sorbet's height.
 - First and foremost, you won't be staying in school longer than six thirty, as the couple takes turn on picking you up. They understand and adore the fact you're a hardworking kid thriving to have a scholarship in college despite being a literal first grader, but being a little kid walking alone in the middle of an evening is frightfully concerning. And in those times wherein either sorbet or Gelato picks you up, they'd buy you treats you want but not enough to spoil your appetite for dinner.
- You did not hesitate to address them the way you addressed them that one fateful night when they tucked you in your new room for the very first time.. Gelato cried after that and Sorbet had to hold him to his chest to clam him down. Ugh, you were so effortless at making the two of them so soft.
 - They're underpaid, not broke, so the couple spoils you in an overwhelming rate, the entirety of La Squadra were beginning to get concerned. Proscuitto scolded the two that they might spoil you rotten, but they reassured them you weren't.
 - Speaking of La Squadra, the couple considered them as their family. Sorbet and Gelato did not hesitate to introduce you to them not as La Squadra, but as your uncles.
 - All of them were touched that Sorbet and Gelato want them to be a part of their child's life, that one of them would often volunteer to watch over you if the two were away. The couple were not going to introduce you to them as assassins and took advantage of your gullible nature as a young child. they don't intend to hide it as a secret from you. Perhaps someday they'll tell you their line of career, but six was not the right age to do so.
 - Which brings us to their circumstances, the fact that they're assassins and how it is not an ideal career for people who has an attachment outside of their jobs. They were extremely careful in terms of that, wanting to protect and prevent others from using you against the couple. Well, now there's now a fate worse than death if ever that happens.
 - With new responsibilities, Risotto understood them and gave them less jobs in order to take care and watch over you. But there were times where the two were both absent, prompting one of La Squadra to babysit you.
- Melone, Formaggio and Proscuitto are top picks for babysitting duties! but, of course, there are disadvantages. Melone is... Melone. Formaggio can and will act as a kid rather than an adult. And Proscuitto, well, he can be a bit too domineering. So yes, they are A-tier babysitters, nonetheless.
 - B-tier babysitters would be Illuso, Pesci, and Ghiaccio. Illuso can be a bit too dismissive, Pesci will be too anxious and overprotective-- like in an extreme rate, and Ghiaccio... Hide your copy of Merchant of Venice, and you'll live another day.
 - S-tier would be Risotto, except the fact that he is always busy. He is good with kids and he can guarantee their safety, I mean, need I say more?
 - Under no circumstances, are they allowed to swear around you. The couple already had restricted their foul language around you, and they expect the others to do so as well. Ghiaccio is highkey sweating when you started saying bullshit whenever you're frustrated. He profusely begged you not to day that again in exchange for ice cream.
“Bullshit!” Ghiaccio’s heart skipped a beat after hearing your small voice whisper-shout on the dinner table as you attempted to solve a rather difficult math problem.
 - Your relationship with them was well. They were protective of you, love you and support you. They're very affectionate, but not in an overwhelming amount... Well, at least they try to hold back but all they want to do is to spend time with their baby and love them unconditionally, as they should.
 - Padre Gelato is more of a fun dad, very playful and energetic. He likes lifting you up to his hip before gently nuzzling his nose against yours. Dad jokes subconsciously slips from his mouth, be careful. He does a lot of cool tricks with his butterfly knife, twirling the sharp blade around while you stare in awe, whilst Papa Sorbet was more concerned that he'll accidentally cut himself, or that you might try the trick unsupervised. Needless to say, Padre was responsible enough to keep his knife in his pocket at all times to prevent that.
“When will you teach me how to do that, Papa?”
“When your old enough, N/N.”
 - Papa Sorbet is a bit more reserved, but certainly not distant. He will not hesitate to kill someone who tries to hurt you. So he's the perfect person to serve as your teacher, as he helps you with school work and help you learn other practical things: cooking, baking, doing laundry by hand (which product is more effective to get blood off clothes), self-defense, etc.
“So if there’s a stranger following you, what do you do?”
“Cling to the nearest person I see and pretend that I know them?”
 - They both tuck you into bed after reading you a bed time story, though it only lasted until you were nine because you insisted you were already grown up (cue, Gelato hiding his face on Sorbet's chest because his baby is all grown up--), but some things don't change because by bed time, they just check up on you even if they won't tuck you in to sleep.
 - Extremely supportive and encouraging. Like, they're basically the gasoline you pour on fire to intensify the fire of your passion. Like, they'll cheer you on sport games and competitions, tries their best to attend recitals, etc, etc. Though sometimes one is missing due to missions, sometimes both, but in the end of the day, you were confident that they would have loved it.
 - Unbeknownst to you, at the end of the competition, a certain figure will come behind you and lock you on a headlock before harshly rubbing their knuckle atop your head. Uncle Formaggio can be a mean sometimes. So yes, if ever the couple is absent from your competitions, one of your uncles would volunteer to go.
“‘Sup, little sport?”
“Uncle Formaggio, my hair--!”
 - The first time you celebrated your birthday with your new parents was your seventh. They wanted to throw a goshdarn ball, but you insisted to keep the party amongst yourself. Just you, your papa and padre, and your  seven weird uncles. You were already a big family, and you were happy with that.

Omg imagine la squadra with a teenage teammate 👀 (platonic obvs but I'm 18 and I wonder how they'd act with a team member that's a lot younger than them) cause I hc them as being in their late 20s early 30s ‼️
Okay I love love love this idea! I decided to go for the approach of a younger teenager, someone around 14 or 15 years old, and make them someone who is keen to prove themselves and be respected, but still has all the fears that would be natural for someone in this situation so young, hidden beneath the front they put on.
La Squadra Interacting with a Younger Teammate
Formaggio- The prospect of La Squadra’s next recruit being a kid is actually quite appealing to Formaggio. He doesn’t get much respect from the rest of the team, but he hopes a teenager would be more impressionable, more easy to wow. As soon as the newcomer is through the door Formaggio is already pulling out his cool uncle act. He’s always begging to show them something cool (usually just some random thing he shrunk) or tell them a gruesome story from the job. He totally forgets how naturally weary they’re going to be as someone who recently moved teams. When he finally realises how uncomfortable he makes them, he feels very guiltridden and backs away. But then one day, by pure accident, he makes them laugh. Genuinely. Things ease up a lot after that.
Illuso- Since he isn’t particularly good with kids, Illuso thinks it’s best to just treat them the same as he does any other teammate. This doesn’t go well, their interactions clunky and awkward as the newcomer is unsure how to respond. Eventually, Illuso realises too and decides he’s going to have to change tactic. What do teenagers like? Mischief? While the idea of taking the kid around the mirror world to wreck havoc on the base is tempting, it would not go down well with Risotto once he finds out. What else is there? Gossip? Yes, that could work. When Illuso finds himself alone with the kid with nothing else to talk about, he starts telling them all the dirty secrets he’s collected about his team over the years. There’s nothing age innappropriate, but it’s enough to break down the image the kid has of La Squadra as humorless, intimidating adults. The others soon notice a change in the kid’s behaviour and congratulate Illuso for helping them settle in, however it was he managed to do that. Well, that certainly wasn’t Illuso’s intention, but he’ll take the applause anyway.
Pesci- The arrival of the newcomer marks a big change for Pesci. He’s no longer the youngest of the group, both in age and in experience. While he’s glad to lose the associated teasing, it fills him with a sense of responsibility he isn’t quite ready for. Being the youngest in the group gave him a slight feeling of immunity for all his fuck-ups, both real and percieved, and that’s gone now. Worse, he sees this kid and he sees someone far newer to the game than he is yet somehow still able to face it with more courage than he does. The kid scares him, really. It feels like he is the junior member of the dynamic they have together. Then one day he finds their phone in the front room. He knows the others have a habit of pinching things like this for mean-spirited jokes, so he puts his anxiety regarding the kid on hold to go up to their room and give it back to them. He didn’t expect to find them crying there. He rushes up to them immediately, patting them on the shoulder nervously to offer some comfort. He asks them what’s wrong. “Everything. I’m scared.” At the end of the day, they really are just a child.
Prosciutto- The second-in-command doesn’t have time to mentor the newcomer to the same extent he does with Pesci, but he’ll still keep an eye on them whenever he can. Any of those violent idiots could teach them to kill, but Prosciutto’s going to make sure they learn to carry themselves right as well. For one, they need to get rid of those grungy hoodies and jeans they insist on wearing. He supposes he’ll just have to take them shopping. Overall, he can seem quite harsh on the kid, but he has their best interests at heart. He wouldn’t be paying them any mind at all if he didn’t have faith in them to go far.
Melone- As is only natural with his stand, Melone is good with kids. Teenagers are a different matter, and with little concrete memory of the whirl of heartbreak and emotions that were his own teen years, Melone isn’t as sure of himself as he would like to be. So he takes the experimental method, observes how their reactions to certain interactions in order to figure out the best way of keeping them at ease. It’s overall a good approach, and Melone becomes one of the earlier members of the team who the newcomer opens up to. The only issue is the others. They do not trust him. So, Melone takes it upon himself to prove himself. He makes a point of adjusting his behaviour, abandoning some of his more unsavoury habits for good, and not just in the kid’s present. The others are surprised, but pleasantly so. Melone is thankful to the newcomer for improving his standing with the team in general.
Ghiaccio- He is not happy. He knows about other teams getting actual children dumped on them, but he never thought it would happen to them. It makes him absolutely furious; the last thing this team needs right now is some petulant brat to take care of. Ghiaccio will give them the cold shoulder for a long time. Eventually, it takes Risotto dragging him into his office and point-blank asking what his problem is to make him reconsider. Ghiaccio drags his heels, insists he needs nothing to do with the newcomer, but then Risotto reminds him how young Ghiaccio was when he got trapped in his life. That changes things. That evening, as Risotto watches on silently from the doorway, Ghiaccio approaches the newcomer in the sitting room. “Hey… kid… do you like video games?” he asks uncertainly. The kid perks up, surprised to hear such an offer from Ghiaccio of all people. They accept. Ghiaccio invites them to play with him often after that. Risotto doesn’t need to ask him.
Risotto- Well, this is interesting. Risotto finds the kid hard to deal with because of how much he sees himself in them. They’re pretty much the same age he was when his own life went to hell. Risotto may have trouble facing the newcomer, but he’ll do it anyway for their sake. He wants to do what he can to make their own youth easier than his, if only by a fraction. For them, he’ll let down his walls and be a confidante. He’ll let them be honest about their fears with him, and he’ll comfort them to the best of his ability. He doesn’t want them to end up like him. He doesn’t want them to lose their humanity.
Sorbet and Gelato- “Sorbet, that’s a baby.” “Christ, you’re right.” Sorbet and Gelato may be devoid of sympathy towards a majority of humanity, but they at least have it in them to feel sorry for a kid. Especially a kid dumped into the closest thing the couple has to a family. Truth is, Sorbet and Gelato have long desired a child of their own, but never truly believed the opportunity would present itself. They know taking in a scarred teenager a few years off from adulthood will never truly take the place of a child to call their own, but if this is the closest they can get, they’ll take it. So yeah, congratulations kid, meet your new group assinged fathers. Sorbet is the more realistic of the two, the one who reluctantly accepts the need to prepare the newcomer for mafia life. They develop a dynamic somewhat comparable to Pesci and Prosciutto, with Sorbet becoming the primary mentor for the child when Risotto is too busy. Gelato is the one who really tries to baby the kid, trying to keep them away from their work as much as possible and always fussing over them whenever a mission can’t be avoided. The kid might be reluctant to accept it, but it is what they need. At least once in a while.

Aaaaa i love the dragon ask you did sooo much. This time can we get La Squadra instead ??
Oh hohohoho this should be interesting
Just want to reiterate I don’t usually intend to write for Pesci but honestly I might on non-romantic requests like this one 🐟 not that I don’t like him I just feel writing for him is a bit awkward
~~~
Tumblr media
I’m so sorry the big tiddy goth gf isn’t in this picture but it’s the best gif I could find of most of the team
Risotto
- Much like Abbacchio, pretends he doesn’t like the dragon but he is a softie for it in private
- Unlike Abbacchio, he will never ever be caught by the rest of the team he’s just that good
- Dragon likes to both do the thing when it lays on the desk while he’s working and occasionally roll onto his paperwork, and curl up on top of him when it sleeps
- Risotto taught it different cues for a fight. He does the thing where he covers it in iron powder so their enemy can’t see either of them while they’re attacking
Formaggio
- The dragon hates him
- everyone expected it to hate Melone or Ghiaccio but nope it has decided that Formaggio is too much of a smug bastard
- Will bare it’s teeth at Formaggio whenever it sees him
- The only time the dragon tolerates him is when they’re fighting someone and Formaggio shrinks them down to tiny dragon size. Tiny dragon can beat the shit out of anyone the same size as it.
- Every time Formaggio thinks their relationship is getting better/gets comfortable around the dragon, it will bite him
Illuso
- Most likely to use the dragon for dumb stuff and teaches it to be mean to others
- Doesn’t know how to take care of a pet but really likes fighting alongside the dragon
- Wombo combos his enemy by hiding the dragon in the mirror world pre-attack, and then the two of them just wail on whatever poor soul Illuso dragged in to take out
- These headcanons probably make it sound like I don’t like Illuso but he’s actually the La Squadra member I’m most thirsty for
- Idk about the other La Squadra fights I’d have to think about it more but if Illuso had the tiny dragon when he fought Giorno, Abbacchio, and Fugo, he honestly probably would’ve won
Prosciutto
- The only responsible member of La Squadra
- The only reason he didn’t want to keep it was because he knew he would get stuck caring for it
- He was right
- He and the dragon have a special bond. It will sit on his lap and not mess with anything at all. Risotto and Ghiaccio are both jealous
- The dragon is barely affected by his Stand because dragons live forever, so it makes a great partner for attacking/protecting Prosciutto
Pesci
- Was the one who found the dragon
- Had to beg Prosciutto to let it stay, Risotto was fine with it
- The dragon loves playing with Beach Boy. It bothers Pesci a lot until he brings out his Stand to play with it. It jumps at it like a cat.
- The two of them are best buddies
- Dragon will slaughter anyone who tries to hurt Pesci
Melone
- Melone is afraid of the dragon. The dragon will not leave him alone
- It is weirdly affectionate to Melone
- Does the dragon sense his fear, or does it genuinely like him? The world may never know
Ghiaccio
- Ghiaccio’s temper irritates the dragon, but it still likes him most of the time
- In the way it likes to curl up on top of others for their warm bodies, it likes Ghiaccio’s body because he is cold
- Dragon will let him rant to it for hours about something if he makes it a nice little block of ice to sit on first
- One time Ghiaccio was working on finances and the dragon rolled over onto his keyboard while he wasn’t looking and messed up the entire file. Ghiaccio was so furious he started destroying the room. The dragon was amused
Wow I'm so happy I can send another! Thank you! May this please be an imagine if it isn't too much to ask for another la squadra members imagine set? I just worry because of how much writing is involved in a set it may be daunting in your ask box. The members of La squadra being visibly stressed or upset and their shy fem member approaches them with a gift like chocolates or something they like because she wants her teammates to feel happy too and she cares about them. Thanks if you do this!
Heyyyy. I’m sorry the request took so long… and I didn’t write all of the members, I’m like feeling lowky sick rn. If you want the other three written, you can request it again if you want. I’m so extremely sorry!
Ghiaccio
Anger and stress are the two emotions present on Ghiaccio’s face constantly (maybe add constipation in the mix as well). However were times where his mood can get from worse to even more worse. This was one of those times.
The only two members at the base were you and Ghiaccio, frankly because the other La Squadra members can hardly handle him at his worse, and now that Ghiaccio was in one of his moods, nobody was gonna put up with that shitty attitude of his (Risotto included).
You just got back to the base from a day of grocery shopping, even buying something that you hoped that it would cheer him up because you’d like to think you were a member that he tolerated. Ghiaccio rarely insults you, even converses with you on some occasions after a year of you being on the squad, so that’s how you came to the conclusion.
You held in your hand, a blueberry popsicle, right in front of Ghiaccio’s room. Hopefully he liked blueberry. You knew he liked popsicles because he ate the frozen snack most of the time, even in the winter, and he probably likes blueberry because… Well… It was blue.
The only thing preventing you from knocking on the door and giving it to him (as well as keeping the popsicle from melting) was the extremely cold temperature that was literally seeping through the door. You could feel the cold air from a mile away.
You took a deep breath in and out, trying to calm yourself down because you were only giving him a popsicle, nothing important. Just a popsicle. You raised a fist to knock on the door and… Everything was happening quickly. Too quickly for you to process. Ghiaccio opened the door, and then you knocked on his chest, and your faced morphed into extreme discomfort and heat began to rush to your face. You pulled your hand away as if you were burned, and began to gesticulate wildly, trying to bs your way out of this.
You began to pray to every divine deity you knew: God, the Buddha, anything and everything.
“Oh my god- I’m so sorry- I didn’t know that you were going to open the door and-”
“What do you want?” Ghiaccio interrupted you, getting straight to the point. It didn’t look like he was that irritated but more like the calm before the storm kind of way.
“I-You-Popsicle-It’s blueberry-” You stammered your famous last words as you pointed wildly to Ghiaccio and the popsicle in your hand. The temperature dropped a couple more degrees, Ghiaccio’s dark eyes began to narrow behind his obnoxiously bright, red frames. You made a little noise of frustration, and just handed him the popsicle, and began to walk hastily away from him, so you didn’t get to hear a word of complaint come out of his mouth about how he hated blueberry or something.
Ghiaccio stared at your retreating back for a few moments, and then observed the treat you gave to him. He tore off the wrapper, and took a bit out of the popsicle, relishing in coolness and sweet flavor. His facial expression softened for a millisecond, and then he went back into his room, a bit less pissed off than before.
Pesci & Prosciutto
Prosciutto gritted his teeth as he lit yet another cigarette. He lost count of how many he smoked, but his office now currently smelt like Las Vegas and he was out of cigars. He muttered a few curses under his breath as he ran a hand through his usually neat hair.
Prosciutto heard a couple of soft knocks at the door. He crushed the cigar in his hand, accidentally burning himself.
“Fuck!” Even more frustration. Whoever was at the door was about to face the wraith of him. “What?!”
“I-It’s me…” Prosciutto barely heard your soft voice through the door. He sighed. You were one of the more tolerable members in the squad, shy and recluse, but you still got stuff done.
“Come in,” He forced himself to calm down. Prosciutto didn’t want to lash out on you. You slowly open the door, peeking in through the crack that you made, double checking if it was really okay to enter Prosciutto’s room, and then soon fully opening the door. You lightly coughed as you inhaled the fumes created by Prosciutto’s chain smoking, and making a light frown. “Did you need something?” You looked downwards, as you held up a pack of cigars, and tossed it towards him. Prosciutto caught it with ease.
“…I heard what happened,” You muttered. He scoffed. Who hadn’t heard? Pesci’s second failed mission on his own. His protege. Pesci’s failure might as well be his own because it reflected on Prosciutto too. “You should talk to him…”
“And say what?” He snapped, making you flinch. “There’s nothing to say to him. He failed a mission, and that’s that! I can’t baby him like he’s some child! We’re grown men! We’re assassins!”
“But he’s different. Pesci is different…” Prosciutto knows that. “He’s much more insecure than all of us… I don’t think he’s taking this failure well. He needs encourage, confidence… From someone he looks up to.” He knows that.
“Pesci can’t keep relying on me… What happens if I’m gone… when I’m gone? He needs to learn how to become independent.”
“Just throwing him on the field alone, like trying to teach a child how to swim in the pool by throwing him in, is unwise,” Your voice was becoming a bit louder. Prosciutto sighed, lighting another cigar.
“Just leave,” he didn’t want to deal with this right now, even though you were right about it. You frowned deeply, looking downwards.
“Don’t smoke too much…” You muttered and exited the room, leaving Prosciutto alone with his thoughts.
You traversed over to Pesci’s room next, concerned for his well being, since he hasn’t come out of his room since the failed mission. You lightly knocked on the door, much like how you lightly knocked on Prosciutto’s door. No response. Pesci was probably too scared to face any of the members, it’s not a surprise, everyone was a dick in your squad.
“Pesci?” You called out. You could hear shifting on the other side of the door.
“W-What?” Pesci’s voice was small and muffled, and took that as a sign to enter the room. Pesci’s body was buried under his blankets and comforter, not even peeking to look at you. The room was dark, not a shred of light in it, besides the natural sunlight coming in through the door you opened.
“Hey…” You greeted, your grin weak and awkward. “I’m… I’m sorry about what happened…” Pesci’s body shifted more under the sheets.
“… It’s not like it was your fault…” He grumbled, voice cracking near the end of his sentence. “It’s mine…”
“It happens to the best of us, Pesci,” You walked slowly, cautiously into the room, careful you didn’t step on things that belonged to him. “We’ve all failed on missions, Pesci. Me, Ghiaccio, Prosciutto, even Capo.”
“…But you didn’t ever hesitate, did you? I did. I hesitated when I saw the target, but I just… I just stopped. I don’t know…” Pesci’s voice wavered. “Does big bro hate me?”
“No… Never. He’s just worried.” And disappointed and frustrated, but you didn’t add that. You cracked a smile. “There was a time where I failed a mission back when I was a new member, it was… Hilarious.” More like embarrassing. “Do you wanna hear it?”
“Um…” Pesci hesitated, but peeked out of the blankets for curiosity’s sake. “If you want…” You smiled fully at him, and squatted on his full, chatting softly to him about your embarrassing tale of failing a mission in the darkness of his room and the light barely peeking in.
Formaggio
Any public, crowded places make you… Uncomfortable. So why and how were you in a run down bar with Formaggio, drunk out of his mind, trying to flirt with anything in his sight (including a barstool).
It all started with the build up of emotions Formaggio felt with the members of La Squadra poking fun at his stand, constantly. Formaggio was stressed out and frustrated, but always hid it with a smirk and returned a quip back to whatever member was mocking Little Feet. You felt bad for the poor guy, so in order to cheer up him, you offered to take him for drinks… On you.
Needless to say, one shot turned into two, which turned into three, which turned into four, and so on and so forth. It was quite… Taxing on your poor wallet. You barely get paid enough as it was as an assassin, but as long as Formaggio had his fun.
But seeing as his current drunken state signified that he was having way too much fun hitting on that barstool, you decided that enough was enough.
“Um… Formaggio?” You approached him carefully on the side, tapping on his shoulder lightly. He was staring lustfully at the chair, and without looking he pressed his index finger to your lip, sloppily.
“Shhhhhh…” He slurred. You blushed heavily. “Trying to do something here…” Formaggio turned his head to look at you, his eyes widening as he did so. “Well… Hello there…”
“Um… Hi?” You greeted with a quirked brow, staring in suspicion at your drunk team mate.
“I’ve never… I’ve never seen…” Formaggio hiccuped. “Anyone as beautiful as you… What’s-” another hiccup. “-your name?”
“Formaggio… It’s me…”
“Formaggio?” The drunk man chuckled. “Ha. Your name means ‘cheese’. That’s so stupid.” You stared blankly at him. “Hey wait… That’s my name!” Another laugh coming from him. “That’s a nice name…”
“Sure…” You chuckled weakly. “But hey… It’s getting late… We should, uh, go home?” Formaggio smirked, slinging an arm around your shoulder (he almost hit your face as he did so).
“Your place or mine?”
“Um… The base… HQ… Headquarters,” You corrected as you slowly start to guide him to the door, Formaggio was quite heavy, leaning against you as he stumbled around.
“Ooohhhhhh,” He responded in understanding. His face scrunched up. “We have a base?”
“Yes… We live there…” You huffed as you tired to catch a breath. Formaggio was too heavy. Maybe going to the bar was a bad idea if he was going to be this drunk. Formaggio hummed as his head lolled around, looking everywhere and taking in the sights around him like it was his first time seeing it. Formaggio placed his head on your shoulder, nuzzling in the crook of your neck, making you slightly stiffen.
“Thanks…” He muttered, strangely serious, but not sober because you could still hear his slurred speech, as you felt his warm breath on your neck. You shivered in response and blushed harshly.
“…It’s no problem…” You squeaked out of embarrassment. “I like spending time with you…” Shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up.
“Me too… You’re like… The only one who doesn’t make fun of Little Feet…”
“Yeah…”
“We should-” a hiccup “-do this again.”
“I’d rather not carry you home drunk again…”
Those puppy HCs were adorable! How about for La Squadra?
Tumblr media
Anonymous: “Can I have La Squadra with a puppy? The first one was just so good!”
Risotto doesn’t have a problem with a puppy being around as long as it’s housebroken and obedient. Once it’s proved that much [or that it can be trained], he allows them to stay and ends up enjoying their company more than he thought he would. He keeps a few treats on his desk and in his pocket that he lets them nibble on at night when they lay at his feet or they go out for a late walk, just keeping him company. When he wants a distraction, he plays tug-o-war with them to see how strong and how much of a “tough guy” they are. But not when anyone’s looking.
Prosciutto makes sure everyone does their share of chores for the pup. If they’re going to stay, then they’re everyone’s responsibility. He’s strict with making sure that they’re trained and well behaved. He makes them run little make-shift obstacle courses for exercise, so they stay active and healthy and is quick with rewards and pats and even cooes at them when they do well. He will deny that last part. You saw nothing.
Formaggio thinks the little guy is cute and doesn’t mind when they jump on his lap and brush their head into his hand for pats and scritches, just as long as they don’t scare any cats away. If he’s feeling it, he’ll toss stuff across the living room and play fetch with them. His favorite thing to do is to throw stuff and shrink it for a few seconds, so the pup gets confused trying to find it. He wonders what kinds of things he can teach them to fetch.
Pesci is in love. He loves to play with them and makes sure they’re happy and get a lot of exercises. They’re just so small though, so he tries to be careful when he plays with them and he’s surprised how easy they bounce back if they run into something or fall over. He loves holding and carrying them when they tucker themselves out, even when they get bigger - Pesci’s strong enough that he hardly notices the difference until someone points it out.
Ghiaccio is fine as long as it’s not one of those really small, yappy dogs. He probably doesn’t get too involved with them until he sees they’re trained. Then he lets himself get a little attached. Especially when it first brings an old sock to him to play. He tries to be cool about it but ends up laughing when it trips over the sock trying to bring it to him. He takes the pup out with him when he goes out for a jog. He got a little frustrated when they couldn’t keep up at first, but can’t stay mad for too long.
Melone likes to have the puppy around. He thinks it really livens the place up having the little ball of energy around. They bounce and run and curl under clothes and blankets dropped on the floor and Melone loves to give them a little pat when they’re excited - he just hopes they don’t try to steal his gloves. [spoiler alert: they do at least once and Melone spent 20 minutes trying to get it back] He thinks it’s just the cutest little thing and so do his potential dates and targets when it’s his turn to walk them.
Illuso keeps a very good eye on the pup when they’re running through the house. He keeps them from making too much of a mess, saving precious decorations from being knocked over or ruined until the pup is properly trained. He doesn’t mind it too much, he has to do the same when the others wander around after a long night of drinking. He likes messing around with the little pup by popping in and out of mirrors, trying to get them to try and catch him. He rewards them with treats and pats once if they can manage it.
