07/14/11: DJ Spinn (DJ Set + Interview)

DJ Spinn has been a major pioneer in the transition from ghettohouse / ghettotech to what is now internationally known as Juke.  Along with his Ghetto Teknicianz crew, DJ Spinn stands alongside the other masters of Chicago dance music, past and present, both as a producer and a DJ.  

Spinn ain't old, but he's definitely a vet of the game and had a lot of interesting things to say about the evolution of house music and his individual career path. Since this was a prerecord (and Spinns chill as heck), we were lucky enough to get a great interview AND a really tight DJ set.  

By now you should know what happens when these cats from Chicago come to Math + Science.  They drop a blistering, face-melting, hell of tight mix packed with originals, exclusives, rarities, classics, obscurities, bangs & works.
