Set in a wondrously evocative re-imagining of France, a beautifully crafted otome visual novel following Emma, orphaned at a young age, as she fights to uncover her forgotten memories. A witch who lost her powers when young and now living a quiet life, Emma is led by the memento her father left her and finds herself swept away with the arrival of a travelling amusement park in town.

Filled with magic and dreams but holding a dark secret, Emma feels an immediate connection to the wondrous La Foire du Rêve. She discovers that hidden underneath the lustrous fairy-like charm of the park, its employees are trapped, bound to the amusement park and only the magic within Emma can free them. But it has been years since Emma has been able to access her magic, and she must dig deep within herself, navigating painful repressed memories, in order to recover it.

Working at the Rêve as she unravels the tangled threads of her forgotten past, Emma forges bonds with the employees of the amusement park. A cast of wonderful characters; the dazzling director Hugo, the stoic accountant Serge, the Tsundere Performer Crier, the kind-hearted rabbit Lyon, the Reclusive Mechanic Luciole, and Emma’s special childhood friend, Arnaud. Each character with their own crosses to bear, stories of tragedy and longing woven together with desperation, Emma builds deepening bonds of friendship, and maybe more, as she works to unlock her magic and their freedom."

Starting Genso Manège!

A bright and colorful otome game about an amusement park which apparantly is darker than it appears?

(Not as dark as Café Enchante tho I heard)

Ah, so Emma is living in these types of times? Scary 🙈

Well, at least he wasn't against her getting a job.

Situations like these are magical and horror at the same time.

A magical and exciting situation for a child that doesn't want their trip to end. Horror for everyone else...

The amusement park changing location changing doesn't mean much when you're chained to the park grounds.

It's amazing how well everyone is keeping up considering their situation.

But I assume I will see some cracks eventually.

Right now I think I'm most interested in Lyon since masked characters are a little weakness of mine.

In real life tho I can't stand people in mascot costumes🙈

Nothing against the actual people, the costumes coupled with being silent just gives me major uncanny valley.

I was terrified as a child of them and I still avoid them like the plague today...

DAUGHTERS OF THE RAINBOW

The daughters are said to be a rare race of colorful sky fairies, princesses of the atmosphere and sisters, all the offspring of the spirit that controls Rainbows for the Earth. They can only be seen in the magical realms such in the Land of Oz but also travel to other mystical and non mystical lands. They live in "Cloud Palaces" and enjoy dancing along the surfaces of rainbows whenever these bend toward the ground below. They are generally mysterious, ethereal creatures, luminous and unearthly.

 Little is actually known about them other than the youngest of sisters named Polychrome, whose boldness and independence has more than once gotten her left behind for adventures among terrestrial beings within the magical Land of Oz and all its neighboring fairy-countries.

Below the cut are all the sisters and FCs i’ve chosen for them. Just for fun and incase I ever need to reference them in a thread. I like making visuals like this for people incase they’re more visual learners like myself.

One common factor between all the sisters, FC or not, is that their eyes reflect rainbow colors, and always appear to have every color of the rainbow in them in some way or form. Their hair will always reflect light no matter the color, and they will have an ethereal feeling around them. They can change their haircolor at will, by changing how light reflects on it, but one can see they have favorite colors.
