Have some more language brainrot for your brainrot
Writer reader getting kind of insecure that even if they write something nobody will understand it, so when Al haithem askes you if he can keep a draft or two just for analyzing, there's hesitant agreement but ultimately you tell him to please burn the documents once he's done. They're too awkward to look at now...
Only he doesn't burn them, in fact he ends up recruiting several people close to the creator with knowledge of olden speak to analyze them. A funeral parlor consultant well known for his historical knowledge, a 500 year old shrine maiden who owns and runs her own publishing house, and a bard who somehow butted his way in on the project. None of them could resist the opportunity to witness the creator's sacred scriptures with their own eyes.
Needless to say, the papers ended up being fought over and have been making their rounds around your acolytes. It started with Ei, who insisted that as an archon she also should see the creator's work with her own eyes. Then once Ningguang found out, she ordered they be handed over to a team of literary analysts in order to be properly handled and deciphered. Things got really messy quick, but have luckily come to a halt as none of the acolytes want the creator to know their random writings are being fought over.
Especially when it comes to the creator's sullen additute. Their acolytes first have to convince their holiness that their inability to read and understand the creator's writing shouldn't prevent you from doing what you love. In fact... could they convince you to write some more?
WRITER OR READER WITH TALENTS HAS MY WHOLE HEART LIKE-
On one hand, same 💀 id be terrified for my all time fav skrunklies to see my bs
But at the same time i rlly wanna show them goddamit- THANK U FOR THE BRAIN FOOD IM RUNNING LAPS AROUND MY HOUSE THINKING ABT THIS-
Sun: Gender Neutral Reader (they/them), Writer!Reader
Planet: Language Shenanigans
Orbit: Scenario
Stars: Alhaitham mostly, some of Kaveh, mentions of other Sumeru characters
Comets & Meteors: Content Warnings: Insecure about craft/writing, anxious first pov (not serious),
& Trigger Warnings: Mild Negative self-talk, insecure perspective/reader “you”, possible anxiety depiction.
You were not a very confident writer.
This had been an avoidable feeling ever since you picked up a pen for the first time and were asked to write a story for school.
You were always anxious turning in essays, letting friends proofread them, anything that would expose your writing to more eyes, because you’d learned the hard way early on that as you get older and better at something, the stuff from the beginning… starts to look a lot different than you remember.
things you used to be proud of after having completed them in the moment, were something you struggled not to rip to shreds a year or two after you re-found it.
If it weren’t for other writers advising holding onto old work so you can see your progress over time, you’d have probably literally nothing older than one year on your ao3, wattpad, etc…
So when you had the fortunate luck (no it is not unfortunately, you are very happy to be here tbh) to fall headfirst into your video game you’ve been obsessed with lately,
You were not planning on showing them any of your writing.
Why would you, after all? You’ve got the weapons, the artifacts, everything they need to be more powerful. Why would you show them a silly little story you wrote? Fanfic or otherwise, not that theyll recognize any characters besides themselves, but still.
Alhaitham, bc ofc it was alhaitham, cocky, deviously aware bastard he is, caught you writing in your spare time first.
You’d gotten your hands on an old journal (if made you feel better than something completely new, a nice worn leather journal, sold at a secondhand shop from an old adventurer) and had started to write what you could remember about some of your ideas you’d had drafts for in your old world
After initially walking in on you writing in the House of Daena (it was the closest you could get to lofi girl, god u missed her lmao), you nearly jumped a foot in the air bc Haitham’s a nosy bitch and leaned over your shoulder and scared the absolute shit out of you, mans goes from asking politely, to begging you to let him read some of your writing over the course of 3 weeks (a month really)
Finally, after this 6 ft (about 180cm) man leans down one day (you’re sitting writing again), and gives you the most insanely good?? puppy dog eyes??? you’ve ever seen on a man???
you give in, revise a draft about 5 times in a row, lose sleep bc ur having a breakdown about alhaitham judging ur writing the night before you give him his copy-
and hand over a small short story for him to read. you specifically leave a little note not to judge you so hard for Haitham bc u werent used to people reading ur work/let alone someone as highly academic as him, ESPECIALLY since your speech is already so much more archaic than his/all of Teyvats-
His stupid green eyes with diamonds look into your soul (are they sparkling??) and he braces your shoulders after you give him his copy,
“Mine Greatest Guide, you hath deemed this one worthy of thy trust of your creations personally, I would be a fool to gaze upon it in jest. To take this work as anything less than a masterpiece in its infant stages.”
…you just leave him to it, and are nearly running out of there (u managed to be calm enough to just speedwalk),
and you make a point to not ask what he thought about it, or even bring it up at all
you’re kind of hoping he forgot tbh… and so nothing happens!
◇
Nothing happens… for 2 weeks after you gave Haitham a copy of your short story.
You still don’t know Alhaitham’s opinion when you see the advertisement, a sign saying something about, a new book? By YOU???
You nearly start a mob because the shopkeeper insisted you sign some copies, but you only signed a few before too many people overwhelmed you, and seeing it was that same draft- !! Oh god, you’d been agonizing over the spelling errors you’d missed when you gave it to Alhaitham, and now it’s just out there???
(luckily it seems the reviews are positive, but dammit you’ve been rereading ur story u gave him for days, and now ur positive it’s shit-)
You make a break for it, and are literally running (more like speed-walking after a while, since u got further away) thru Sumeru City:
you pass by the open patio of a restaurant, the scholars are heatedly discussing ur characterization-
you pass by Dehya, Candace, and Dunyazard, the merc is waving around a copy of ur book, the other two women look excited abt the conversation-
oh my god-
Nahida is relaxing in one of the many little gazebos thruout Sumeru, while Wanderer seems to be reading your story to her-
You fucking track down Alhaitham’s house like a bloodhound.
You are banging the infamous gay roommates’ front door, panting til ur throat burns raw.
“Yes, yes, alright, greetings to you too! I was simply visiting the Acting Grand Sage Alhaitham, tis why I’m here- Greatest Lord?!”
Kaveh is nearly jumps a foot in the air at the sight of you, but recovers, (you’re still not tho lmao)
and invites you in bc apparently, Alhaitham’s been meaning to talk to you about your draft you gave him!
Oh yeah, you’ve got some words to give Haitham after giving him that damn draft privately-
But when he sees you, the fucker just- smiles??
Like he’s done nothing wrong???
You’re about to tear into him when he speaks first to tell you the good news!
He grabs your hands at the table and gets down on one knee, ohhhh no.
Alhaitham is giving you those damn begging puppy dog eyes again.
“My Greatest Lord, Giver of Power, and Guide to All, your exquisite story has entranced all of Teyvat, might I please insist you write a sequel? It is an excellent literary piece to analyze… or perhaps, even better, share other stories you’ve written??”
…
….Motherfucker.

hbd to me!!!!!!! here’s a vent fic i wrote a few months ago so proceed with caution; reader attempted suicide, reader continues to have suicidal thoughts/attempts, reader seeks harm onto themself (both from external sources and self inflicted), reader is depressed!!! be sure to evaluate your mental state before reading this fic :3. this also contains a scene that i felt compelled to write for some reason involving assisted hygiene: idk i felt that needed a little acknowledgment..
ik its my birthday fic and it proably should be happy, but theres a bit of hurt comfort to this that i love and i polished it up to share so that hopefully u like it too.. again heed my warnings^
also final note; formatted on my pc, sprry if its funky
The first thing you feel upon waking up is disappointment. This… you rub your face with your hands. You can’t do anything right, you sigh. Waking up is a clear sign of a failure as to your plans.
Although you frown as you observe your surroundings, this isn’t where you would be if someone had caught you attempting to take your life. You wouldn’t be dumped in the middle of a sunny field. This isn’t a hospital or ward, in fact there’s no sign of any modern buildings from where you sit.
Just where are you…?
You use shaky arms to lift yourself up, and begin to attempt to find a way home. Or for something to just kill you.
What luck, you realize morbidly, you spawned on a plateau, and that’s all you allow yourself to think before breaking into a sprint and running both to and over the edge.
You hit the plains with a crack and you wheeze out a pained groan. Before you can lift yourself up to try again or seek help or check for any witnesses, you feel your body fade away. It’s a weightless feeling as you sink into the earth of Teyvat.
There is not much pain, not as much as you had hoped or expected. In ways this is a pro, for you are a coward in the face of pain no matter deserved or otherwise.
You fade, but not into the hold of death, at least you don’t think this is death, rather you fade from your spot crumpled on the ground into a sitting position firmly in the arms of an Anemo Statue of Seven. The marble orb of Barbatos’ lookalike stops you from falling out of the statue’s arms and you heave a sigh.
How unfortunate. It seems you cannot permanently die here. Though… what if it was a fluke…? With another bone deep sigh you fall to the ground and walk back to the ledge and stare down at the fifty foot drop.
Before you work up the courage to take the plunge a high, excited voice calls out for you. You flinch, opening your eyes to see a youthful bard dressed in Mondstatian green, holding his hands out for you. Venti is sprinting towards you and you take a step back nervously. He seems to recognize you… but how could that be?
His face falls as you back away and his sprint slows when he’s a few yards away from being able to reach out to you. Venti calls your name again. He falters, the smile adorning his face slips.
“Wait…” his voice wavers. “What are you doing, Divine One?”
Why did he call you that…? Is it some Mondstat greeting of sorts? You can’t kill yourself in front of him and retraumatize the poor guy, so you allow him to get closer to you, and you don’t stop him when he sweeps his lythe form down into a kneeling bow.
“Hello.” You greet, unsure of how one is supposed to act when approached by a fictional character.
Venti lifts his gaze from the ground up to your face, looking downright awestruck.
“I, we, have long awaited your descent, Divine One, it is an honor to have you grace the lands of Freedom with your presence first.”
Uh-oh. He seems to have confused you with someone else, because you are certainly no one special and definitely not any sort of divine. How are you gonna break that to him without too much embarrassment on either of your parts?
“Please, come with me to the city, I’m certain the people will be delighted to host the one who shaped the world.” His voice is high with a musical lilt, and it’s hard to decline him.
“I’m sorry,” your voice comes out dry, and you realize you’re terribly dehydrated. “I think there’s been a mistake. I’m not whoever you think I am.”
You take a step back, backing yourself up the hill onto higher ground.
“Whatever do you mean, Divine One? Your presence is unmistakable.”
You shake your head, stepping further away from the Archon. Venti reaches his hand out to grasp at the bottom hem of your pajama pants. “Please! I’ve waited so long for you.” He falls onto his knees to beg.
Fuck, his eyes are so pretty when he pleads. You don’t want to risk angering whatever God he’s mistaking you with, though, “Venti….”
The blue-green sky of his eyes turns to the color of the ocean as tears well up in his waterline. His whole body shivers when you utter his chosen name. “I can keep it a secret from the public. Surely only Archons and those blessed with a Vision will be able to sense you. We can keep it quiet, please, Divine One, I beg of you.”
“I’m not this Divine One you speak of,” you kneel and place a hand on his hat. Venti’s eyes search yours with confusion. As he lifts his head, your hand presses into the curve of his skull, making him lean harder into your touch.
“Th-That’s okay, please just stay in Mondstadt for a night, that’s all I wish.” He doesn’t believe you, that’s clear, but he seems so eager to appease you.
You pause, looking away from the pathetically begging archon. His hands clench on your pant fabric.
“Okay. Just for the night.” You hope no one else from Mondsat is as strange as Venti is…
“I don’t have any way to pay for this,” you smile at Diluc, placing a hand on the side of the glass to push it back across the counter.
“I wouldn’t dream of making you pay, please drink all you wish. Let me know if it isn’t to your taste.”
“Does that apply to their guide as well, Master Diluc?”
“No.”
“A shame,” Venti sighs, taking a deep drink from his glass.
You have to hand it to Venti, he is a good guide. He’s quick to shut down any vision holder you come across with a quick whisper in their ear, and he truly knows Mondstadt in and out.
The bell above the door jingles as it swings open, and you glance behind you in time to see Rosaria come strolling in with a timid Barbara clutching the back of her cathedral robes. She must not visit the Angel’s Share much, seeing as the hydro-user looks around with quick, nervous eyes. When her eyes land on you they widen comically, her small hand darting out to steady herself on Rosaria’s forearm.
—
“Farewell, my Divinity,” “Safe travels, Divine One,” and “May the wind bless your travels, Your Grace,” follow your retreating form as you make the hike to Dragonspine.
Honestly you aren’t certain where you’re heading. If the other nations treat you the same as Mondstadt, that's a no-go. You won’t know unless you go, though. Maybe you should head the same route the Traveler would. That would mean Dragonspine is your next destination.
Who will you meet there? Albedo…? He’s the only one you can think of that stays there.
As you begin the trek you realize; he’s a research-type dude, you hesitate to say scientist, but he does experiments and such. Perhaps, you can make use of yourself by giving your body up to him to work on. Surely an undying body would greatly interest the research of life?
After a surprisingly simple search you find him and present your proposition.
“Absolutely not,” Albedo dismisses you without thought. He doesn’t even bother to spare you a look. “That is blasphemy of the highest order, I’d suggest giving that attitude up sooner rather than later.”
You flinch back at the words, taking a step back into the chill of Dragonspine.
“I can offer you sanctuary here if you seek it, but I will not harm you.”
“That’s…” not at all what you want. “That’s very kind of you to offer, but I must decline.”
His haunting blue eyes follow you down the snowy path to Liyue. Once you are far too away to hear, he states calmly, “safe travels.”
As you walk down the icy paths lining the gravel streets you think… Albedo had rejected you just like that. What’s the next step?
You might as well stop by Liyue Harbor, maybe meet some characters before… before maybe heading to Sumeru?
Ahhah! It hits you then, the harbinger introduced in Sumeru: Il Dottore. If Albedo had reservations, then Dottore would have none.
Even still, Liyue is a harbor. You’re sure to find a way to Snezhnaya from there.
You almost get to the docks without drawing any attention to yourself. Almost.
Your mistake laid in the fact that you passed the Golden House, the weekly Childe Boss fight. In your defense you didn’t actually think he’d be in there. And it’s not like you even went in, only going up the steps and around for a detour.
And it was a quick route until a strangled gasp came from behind you, making you spin around in alarm. There, Tartaglia stood, with pupils nearly the size of his gray-blue eyes, staring, completely enraptured by your visage. Your knees buckle and you make to sprint, but your body is no match for a Fatui Harbinger.
In retrospect you’re not entirely sure what drove you to run, perhaps some fight or flight instinct buried inside of you.
His long hand wraps around your forearm, tugging you to a stop, you face him, and your face must portray your panic clearly because Tartaglia’s twists into sorrowful sympathy.
“My Divinity… it is an honor to meet you in the flesh.”
“Let go.” He does, promptly so.
“I’m sorry, I got ahead of myself. May I ask where you are headed, and if you are in need of company?”
“No. Thank you, Childe.”
His face shifts into a serious look, nodding. “Do you need an escort to Liyue then? Is that where you’re heading?”
“No. I know where I’m going, and I much prefer to go alone.” It’s not entirely false, you know where you’re headed, just not how.
“Well… be safe, okay? I hope to see you again.”
“I will.” The lie comes out and you cringe, because its delivery falls flat and its so obviously untrue.
“Does Mr Zhongli know you’re here? Surely you’re here to see Morax?” He strolls to your other side, offering a hand to lead you to the city. You ignore the hand.
“Goodbye, Tartaglia.”
“I can’t let you leave alone in good conscience…. You don’t seem well. Let me lead you to the harbor at least.”
Since he is as unmoving as stone, you let him take you to the main city, managing to ditch him before more people can know about your presence.
The boats docked at Liyue Harbor are hopeful. “Where is this ship headed?” you ask one of the dock workers. They look up at your voice before glancing at the ship they’re loading up with lumber.
“Snezhnaya.” They say glancing up at the grand vessel. “Why? Where’re you tryna go, friend?”
“Snezhnaya. How much does the fare cost, one way?”
—
“News of your travels have reached Snezhnaya, Divine One.” Dottore starts, fixing his posture from a lean on a surgical table to something more proper. You shake your head, the weariness you’ve accumulated on your journey weighing down on you. You’re finally where you deserve to be.
“I’m not the Divine One you speak of, Dottore.”
“Hm? Do you think so little of my intelligence? Your presence is unmistakable.”
“No, it’s not that. But I’m not. I’m just a regular person. And I came to you for a reason.”
“Oh? The Creator themself, seeking me out? It’s an honor,” the doctor bows to you, smirking at you from beneath his beaklike mask.
“I need you to hurt me.”
“What?” He pulls himself up with a startled question. “I’m afraid I misheard you, Divine One.”
“I can’t die, Dottore. I’m giving myself to you, you…” you heave a sigh as you explain your reasoning. “You could make use of me. I’m not whoever you think I am, please just take me. I don’t care what you do to me.”
“You’re… giving yourself to me?”
“Yes.”
“Do you know what happens to my… patients?”
“Yes, that's why I’m here. I can’t die, I imagine I would make a good test subject.”
“Is this a test?” Dottore seems to be speaking to himself more than anything. He pushes away from the table and paces to the back room of the lab, muttering madly to himself as he does so. The door swings open with a loud screeching and you catch sight of multiple mops of blue hair and masks.
His Segments.
You can hear a conversation ongoing between all of the parts of Zandik, it seems he doesn’t want to be rash and take you in too hastily. You can understand his (their?) hesitancy; if a god offered themselves up to you, you would surely think it was a trap. But you aren’t a god, so it should be a no brainer for him. How often does he get consenting test subjects?
It seems this absurd idea of you being a higher power has infiltrated Snezhnaya as well, which is… not good. Everyone is saying you’re more than what you are, you can’t be a god, you barely consider yourself a human.
An older, completely unmasked Segment sticks his head out of the door, frowning once he makes eye contact with you. There’s gray leaking from his roots into the teal of Dottore’s hair, and visible aging lines on his face; crows feet and tension on his cheekbones. Glowing red eyes narrow upon meeting your own, mouth pulling into a tight line.
A younger segment, smaller in size and stature, with a nearly full face mask, only showing part of his mouth. You think that is the one that the Fandom surrounding him dubbed Webttore. You usually see pictures of him with a wide, jagged-tooth smile, but, like his older part, he looks solemn.
You wonder just how many Segments Il Dottore has, because you can still hear an entire conversation going on without the two.
The conversation seems to be dying down, not ending without a few red eyes peeking out from behind the door at you. It’s surreal seeing so many versions of the same person at once; the youthful ones, eyes wide, and the older ones with wrinkles built with time and age, all at the same moment in time.
Eventually though, they do seem to come to a verdict: the Omega segment, the one you met upon walking into his lab, exits, closing the door behind him with a click that resonates through the room.
His answer is a simple word. “No.”
Your heart drops and stomach sinks at the rejection, and based on il Dottore’s reaction it must show. “Why?” your voice is small and sounds foreign to your own ears.
“I cannot forsake the true god in such a way, whether you acknowledge it or not, you have that power.”
All the turmoil and hardships it took to get here come crashing down, the light at the end of the tunnel is rejecting you. You hadn’t known this was something that could happen, your… your savior, the one you were looking for is telling you no. He won’t lay a finger on you, and it’s tearing you apart. This was the only thing that kept you from burying yourself in the deep forest of Sumeru and letting yourself rot.
“Oh.” It’s shaky and you nod, trying to take it maturely. “I see.” Your voice is warbling like you're on the verge of tears. Blinking rapidly to dispel the water from your eyes, you lower your head and make to scamper out of the lab.
Dottore lets out a heavy sigh, and his leather gloves wrap around your wrist.
“Wait.” You nervously glance up at his mask.
“You said you would ‘give yourself to me,’ no?”
Your heart pounds heavily in your chest, “yes.” Has he suddenly changed his mind? You shouldn't get your hopes up.
“I will take you. I doubt you will appreciate my intentions, but if I were to own you, you wouldn’t be able to complain. After all, you will have done it to yourself.”
You don’t know what those words mean, but the stinging rejection welling up in your eyes turns to relief. “Thank you,” he doesn’t stop you from dashing to his side and wrapping your arms around his waist. You press your face into his abdomen, letting his clothes soak up your tears. A hesitant hand rubs over your spine, an effort to soothe you.
You pull yourself together, sucking in a deep breath of the sterile lab air.
“Alright,” Dottore says after he deems you put together enough. “Come.” His hand covers your wrist, gently tugging you behind him. You aren’t sure where he is leading you, as he takes you out of the lab. The halls are tall and gorgeously crafted, intermittent with intricate moldings on the wall.
It’s a small room you find yourself in, but it is infinitely better than the wilderness. The size is comparable to an average hotel room. Dottore instructs you to sit and stay on the bed, which you do obediently. Nerves swirl inside of you, as to where he has gone and what he will bring back with - when he will return, if at all.
Il Dottore knows. While he is not well versed on human, much less godly, psychology, he can tell you’re depressed when you first stumbled your way into his workstation. Besides, he’d be hard pressed to deny the rumors from various agents that had been located in places you’d traveled through.
With a small caddy in his hands Dottore kneels next to the nightstand and places a hand on your shoulder to force you to lay down. “Arm.” Is what he prompts for you to let him maneuver your arm to lay open and flat over the edge of the bed.
The scent of alcohol alerts you to the sanitary wipe before you feel the chill of it. You keep your eyes trained on the ceiling as you feel the slight pinch of a needle and a clicking as an IV is deposited into your arm. Out of the corner of your eye you see Dottore set up a drip, but you don’t bother to ask what it is, the excitement of the day catching up with you.
Il Dottore eventually leaves the room in silence after pushing an odd vial of liquid into the drip, not bothering to look behind him as he closes the door and leaves with confident strides.
Although it’s entirely possible it’s simply the Placebo Effect, as the drip spreads throughout your veins you can feel your eyes getting heavier and heavier. Before long you can no longer keep them open and slip into a dreamless sleep.
You wake up to a Mirror Maiden tidying up the nightstand next to you. You observe her work, wondering how she can manage to navigate with the blind pulled over her eyes. She startles when she catches your eyes on her, though returns back to work, quietly disposing of the used needles from earlier. You wonder what The Doctor has injected you with; wonder if he added more of whatever it is while you were unconscious.
There’s a brisk, impatient knock on the door and the Maiden straightens up, taking hold of everything to discard and striding over to change positions with Tartaglia behind the door.
You stay flat on your back, looking at the ginger in mild surprise. Last you saw him he was in Liyue and set to stay for quite a while. Had he heard you gave yourself away to Il Dottore? Is he here to plead for you to change your mind?
But to your bemusement he stays quiet, walking over to and kneeling next to your bed. Instead of speaking he merely rests his head on the nightstand, dull blue eyes gazing at you sadly, yet reverently.
You’re unsure of how long you look up at the ceiling, doing your best to ignore Tartaglia’s eyes on you. His gaze is unwavering, and eventually, you turn your head to the side, meeting his eyes.
“I’m sorry for my behavior in Liyue. I was too excited to see you, and my manners deserted me.”
“It’s okay.” You croak, throat dry from sleep. “I was dismissive as well.”
Dottore doesn’t bother to knock when he comes in.
“I see you’re awake and seem to have found a stray harbinger.”
Tartaglia doesn’t react to his entrance, merely moving to the far end of the bed, laying his head on the covers near your feet. You realize someone has drapped a plain, solid color duvet over your body when you slept.
“Are you feeling anything out of the ordinary?” Dottore asks, checking the emptied IV bag. He unclips it and pulls a fresh one from his lab coat pocket.
You take the moment to assess (how do you spell it) your body. In all honesty you’re feeling much better, the hydration from the drip really made a difference.
“I feel hydrated.”
Dottore hums, he sounds disinterested. “How’s your appetite? Can you stomach anything for me?” He clips a new bag onto the pole, screwing it into your IV’s tube. “Stand if you can.”
Dottore’s eyes watch you intensely behind his mask, observing how you tremble when you put a leg onto the floor. “Childe, help them and follow me.”
Tartaglia scrambles to steady your arm as you fully get out of the bed, wrapping the one without the needle in it around his shoulder to support you. You stiffen, but aren’t in any position to be able to get around without him, not with the emptiness of your stomach and the way black fades into your vision when you stand. “Get them to the restroom, take care of their needs. I will return with what they will eat.”
“Come on, I got you,” Tartaglia assures as he leads you to the ensuite restroom. It’s nothing too fancy; simply a sink, shower, and toilet.
You eye the toilet, realizing how long it’s been since you’ve relieved yourself. A shower would also be nice…
“Allow me to assist you, Divine One,” Tartaglia remains stoic and respectful as he shimmies your pants and underwear down your legs, letting you support yourself on his broad shoulders as you step out of the pant holes. After making sure you get to the toilet safely he turns around and starts the shower faucet.
The sound of the water helps you get over your pee shyness and by the time Tartaglia finishes soaking and preparing a cloth for you, you’ve finished and are ready to bathe.
With weak arms you gather the hem of your shirt in your hands and remove the remainder of your clothes.
Tartaglia helps you get clean with warm, respectful touches, passing you the cloth for you to clean more intimate areas, before helping you out of the shower and wrapping a large, soft towel around your body. It’s huge, covering the top of your bust to well past mid-calf, looping around your body almost twice. He tucks the towel tightly with practiced precision.
“Il Dottore will be back soon, I’ll help you get dressed before he returns. Do you have any material preferences?”
—
You sit up in bed, feeling marginally better than the day before. The day after that, and the day after that all proceed in a similar fashion; each time you feel just a little bit better. More clear headed, a better appetite, less like a corpse walking.
Only after Dottore deems you well enough to remove the IV do you get your suspicions that it was more than just the proper nutrition making you feel better. He still stops by your room twice a day for some shots; he encouraged you to choose where he would deposit them (when you said into your brain or through your chest, it did not amuse him). It feels suspiciously like the antidepressants you’ve been on before.
It only further confuses you, though. Does he want you in a proper state of mind for something? He has no reason other than unfounded faith to help you, you don’t like it. It’s … uncomfortable receiving this type of care, knowing it’s only because they think you're better than who you really are.
The food they feed you, the clothes they dress you in, it's all much more than you deserve.
“What are you doing to me?”
“Pardon?” Dottore sets the syringe down with a metallic click. Through his mask you can feel his gaze on you.
“You’re… you’re trying to— to…” the words fail you.
“Mitigate your depressive symptoms? Yes, I am. What of it?” Il Dottore picks the syringe back up, pushing the knob back before stabbing it into the vial in his hand. He pulls the liquid up with ease before removing the needle and pushing to remove the excess air in the syringe.
“Why?”
“Hm? Why would I not?” He flicks the syringe and some liquid flies from the point of the needle.
“If I were anyone else you wouldn’t be doing this.”
“Indeed.”
“Haven’t you realized by now that I’m not who you think I am? That I’m just a normal human in a horrible situation of being unable to die?”
“That is not so. Your skin cultures and biopsy results do not share that conclusion. Even if you continue to deny your god-hood, it changes nothing. I know for certain who you are, and you will remain in my care until you utilize your divine right to revoke such.”
Biopsy? When on Earth — Teyvat? — did that happen? But there’s more important things to discuss with him for now, not that you care how or when it happened. You’re more surprised you never noticed, that’s all.
“You’re wrong!” You wail, tears finally coming for the first time in a while. You had thrown your head back to speak, but now you collapse in on yourself with your head between your arms and legs. It’s humid, but saves you from having to look at the doctor and his unreadable bird mask.
“Oh my,” you hear Dottore murmur, then he sets his medical supplies to the side and places a hand on your shoulder. He remains there while you sob, when finally the lack of speech seems to reach the boiling point, he heaves a sigh. “If it is of any consolation, if it were to come to my attention that you are not in any way godly or divine, I would treat you the same. I’ve put far too much care into you to just toss you aside..”
That consoles you, if only a little, damn the drugs making you want to continue life to see the future. But you broke the dam of tears, and it’ll take a while for them to stop; you need to cry out everything that led you here….
Your… attempt that put you in Teyvat, the one you tried right after arrival, the false death, all the eyes and praise that aren’t meant for you. It’s dysphoric.
The lurches of your body with your cries, stitches your sides and you sniffle harder into the crevice your body makes, the moisture of the confined body space blending in with your tears.
“There now,” Dottore says, quieter as you get so as well. “Perhaps some more rest will do you good. I’ll be at the ready whenever you wake.”

Isekai'd Student
A/n: Been a while...
You were an average STEM student before you were Isekai'd into the world of Teyvat.
Imposter Au
It has been over a month since you've arrived in Teyvat. It's also been 3 weeks since you had to completely change your identity.
No matter how far you run you knew they'd catch up... So why run when you could easily disguise yourself.
Your knowledge on chemistry helped you understand a bit of alchemy.
It helped to make money from it.
Your alter ego was considered as a brilliant person.
Exploring Teyvat wasn't easy since you'd always have to be careful on who sees you.
That is until one day, you stayed at the one of the inns in Liyue. A bustling city of opportunities is when you were approached by one of the Fatui.
"Your Eminence, Please come with us. One of the Fatui Harbingers hopes to meet with you." With no choice or escape you hesitantly followed.
Pantalone, A Businessman at heart, his choices are rational and practical. This was the man you knew he'd help you.
"Your Grace, My-" you raised a hand and smiled. "I don't like idle chatter and we both know your name Pantalone, I have a proposition for you." You smiled as the man took a seat.
"I can provide knowledge that can easily be profitable, and easily advertised to the public. In return I'd only want protection and a meeting with the Tsaritsa."
Pantalone could only smirk "Might I ask why would you need to meet with the Tsaritsa?" You smiled devilishly as you sigh. "Revenge of course and Visions. I can create visions for the Harbingers. Delusions could easily kill someone and we wouldn't want that." You smile remembering Singora.
"Your Grace the Tsaritsa called me to tell you about your meeting but it seems you also want to meet them. I'm quite glad about this deal we've made..."
Your Revenge is only about to begin...

Random thought but if I ever isekai into Genshin impact and still had access to this worlds tech and shopping, I’m giving neuvillette a ‘air-up’ water bottle cause I know that man will love that shit and if he ever existed into modern era he would’ve sponsored and promoted air-up products like no tomorrow!
I bet if I ever one day met neuvillette in some random location in Fontaine I would just randomly drink the air-up in front of or near him and then randomly talk about how the bottle works where neuvillette is near by to hear, and somehow get him engaged into the convo and then BOOM now air-ups are everywhere and now neuvillette has more reason to talk about ✨water✨, though on a real note, water does have flavor in my opinion but that might be because I have a very sensitive nose and taste buds.
I might try draw a comic or something for this cause this sounds better in my head or like shown then written, I also can’t write for shit so-😭😭😭

𝖯𝗋𝗈𝗅𝗈𝗀𝗎𝖾, 𝙰𝚌𝚝 𝙸: Start Anew

Authors note: Hope everyone's day is good. I have been working on the story for a while -- it takes time to write a chapter -- getting inspirations and tidying up the plot a bit. I really love were this is going! Side Note: If you want to ask more about the story, or want to clarify somethings, my ASK! is always opened! I think I will also be accepting request from this fandom as well. So, don't be shy. PS. This is the longest chapter so far.
It’s been a while since I arrived here; a place filled with unknowns and mysteries.
Not knowing where I was…frightening to say the least. Being far away from my home, into a land of magic.
If I hadn’t tried pinching myself every time I encountered a creature right out of a fantasy anime, I would believe I was in a dream, crazy even.
When I awoke, I found myself inside a big hole with cecilia flowers blooming in the dark. It was deep in measure, as I couldn’t see the surrounding area. As confused as I was, I decided climbing was my best option to take.
A few hours went by as I tried getting out the ditch.
Out of all the places to spawn in another world, a hole isn’t on the list.
If not for the fortunate encounter of a blonde haired boy, I would have still been there as I speak. He rescued me, helping me reach the top of the pit. Afterwards, when I thanked him, he understood nothing. He spoke to me, and I understood nothing.
And so, my second problem since coming to this strange place began: language barrier.
With the limit of communication between the two of us, we attempted to introduce ourselves. The boy pointed at himself and said Sirius… It meant the brightest star in the night sky in Greek.
I followed suit and copied him, pointing at myself, and said my name. It’s nothing special so I won’t waste my time saying it–mother would have said otherwise giving me a frown in disapproval.
We smiled. We solved the problem of how we could get each other's attention. The happiness didn’t last long hearing rustling in the bushes. In defense, Sirius took out his sword. The sight of it made me freeze, though not much the sword, but the way it appeared out of thin air.
My mind twisted, frustratedly trying to grasp logic to reason the sudden appearance of the sword. There’s just no way a sword can just materialize out of nothing. Was I going insane? I would've believed myself to be if not for the thing that came out the bushes belonging to imagination.
I think I passed out after seeing it because when I woke up again I saw Sirius' worried face. What I saw was a smile. A cute, yet very dangerous, slime. If this place could give me more to think about how stupid this all was, it would be the weird fashion of these clothes.
At that point I noticed that I wasn't wearing my school uniform. I wore a cloak. It’s not all I had–I think anyone would notice if they were buck naked, but that is the only noteworthy item I wore; the rest is plain and simple, except for the hair piece on the left side of my hair; It’s a crystal, surrounded by gold with engravings on it.
My thoughts at the moment reflected my confusion. Perhaps, I had miraculously found myself on the other side of the globe! …but that’s just hopeful thinking. I knew monsters weren’t meant to be real, nor these gravity-defiant clothes we wore existed.
Reality Dawned on me a few days later being graced with the same routine: Waking up thinking it was all a dream, greeting Sirius, eating, moving on in the plains to who-knows-where, encountering monsters, repeat.
That’s how it was, up until we fished out our third party member.
She is…something. At first, I worried the poor thing had drowned in the pond, but after making sure she was alright I discovered she could float. That killed my sense of urgency.
How could a fairy, who literally floats, drown?
The fairy, who later gave us her name–Paimon, teached Sirius the language of this planet. Apparently, I was speaking a different language than the one I’m using right now. Sirius pointed it out after he learned to formulate sentences, albeit broken, but understandable nonetheless.
Two months passed since then.
We were sitting on a beach enjoying its offerings. Sirius and Paimon–the fairy we helped–were closer to the shore drawing images in the sand. I relaxed under the protection of a palm’s shade, not wanting to get a heat stroke from the scorching sun.
But this peacefulness did not last long.
A loud sound played, akin to that of a classic German symphony, short but loud enough to make my eardrums ring. It made me dizzy when I heard it.
Some sort of vision, screen-like, projection, showed up in front of me when I heard the sound.
“So…what you're trying to say is that you fell here…from another world?” I heard Paimon speak.
Two shining stars, traveling from an unknown place onwards to the sky itself.
“But when you wanted to leave and go on to the next world, your path was blocked by some unknown god?”
A space between the clouds and stars was shown to me; there was Sirius, and someone that looked exactly like him in the opposite gender.
Then I saw her.
The god that Paimon mentioned; she was tall; her clothing were fit for the divinity she is; with her beauty, she’d be capable of killing the careers of hundreds of models if she were to join the modeling business.
“Outlanders, your journey ends here!” I shivered. Her voice was colder than any ice-cream that could give me a brain freeze on a winter’s day.
“Who are you?!” Sirius’ look-alike questioned.
“The sustainer of heavenly principles. The arrogation of mankind ends now,” the god summoned a red cube expanding its domain in the ground. It almost captured the outsiders, almost.
Jumping away from her attack, they each manifested a pair of glorious crystalized wings and swords; the sun shone through its glass making the wings seem like they were glowing; their swords–matching in style–live for the protection of their masters, and ready for battle; launching forward, they meet tentacles made of the same cube which tried to take them down. Every slash made by their opponent was evaded by them. They looked like butterflies dancing a duet; so serine and gorgeous.
But just like a game of chess, the enemy’s turn is finished, it is their turn to make a move. Readying their attack with all the power they can muster; they do a combined strike. Unfortunately for them, the god shielded their attack, rendering them hopeless to her.
The Queen eats a pawn.
With only a glare at the boy made him recoil. But to his dismay, his counterpart wasn't so fast. She was swallowed by the god’s swarm of red-and-black cube.
In a desperate attempt to free her, Sirius charged an attack with some power that is unknown to me. As fast as lighting, he was behind the god. The force of the power collided with the god making a big explosion.
Pawn moves.
Smoke was everywhere; Sirius catches his breath thinking the god was defeated.
His eyes widened, the fumes of the aftermath scurried off to reveal the god intact. Not even her clothes were affected. Intinctly, Sirius backed up, but found himself unable to move: the god had trapped him as well.
Queen moved, blocking the pawn from advancing. The game paused momentarily.
“Wait, don’t go!” His eyes looked desperately at the god, “give my sister back!”
In that instant, I could feel his emotions radiating through his voice. They barreled onto each other, it made me want to crawl into a ball and cry; anger, worry, sadness…the worst one of them was the feeling of separation–loss.
The scene continued, ignorant of my feelings.
“And just like that, the god took away my sister.”
I discovered Sirius had a sister; a twin intertwined in the stars.
“Some kind of seal was cast upon me, and I lost my power. So while we used to travel from world to world, we are now trapped here.”
“How many years ago was it? I don’t know… But I intend to find out,” the scene changed back to the sunny beach and the call of the ocean.
“I was completely alone from the time I woke — Right until I met you and [Name] two months ago.”
“Yeah, Paimon owes you guys for that. Otherwise Paimon likely would have drowned… So, Paimon would do her best to be a great guide for you two!” She vowed to be our travel guide across this unknown world.
Sirius looked out into the horizon with hopeful eyes for the future.
“We should head off.”
When the scene ended, Paimon and Sirius came to me to continue our journey.
“[Name] stop relaxing, and let’s go!” Paimon took me by the hand and lifted me up, dragging me to wherever we were going.
I didn’t share what happened, or what I saw. It's a secret for now.
Currently, we are on our way to our next destination: Mondstadt City.
The city belongs to the nation of Mondstadt–funnily having the same name. According to Paimon, it is the closest civilization from our location. Before going further we stop atop a hill looking out into the plains and what awaits us in the future.
And that is where we found ourselves. Standing idly at the edge of a mountain looking out into the wilderness….
Wait…. Did—did I just have an internal dialogue? I stopped enjoying the view questioning my sanity, before being rudely interrupted by a certain gluttonous-fairy.
“Woaww! This is certainly something Paimon could get used to waking up to see each morning!” She said happily. “What do you think, Sirius?”
Oh, so we’re just going to ignore me, are we?
“I also like the view…” I glanced at her. She looked at me with a sorry-d face.
“We like it, Paimon. Thank you for ask,” Sirius responded calmly.
“See, Paimon? It wasn’t so difficult to include me.”
“Oh look!” she pointed at a lake in the middle of the valley, trying to divert the conversation. “That’s a Statue of The Seven!”
I was unimpressed, but Sirius followed her enthusiasm.
“What is it?” He asked, looking at what looked like a pillar in the middle of a pond.
“They are statues showing The Seven’s protection over the world,” she said proudly, “you can find them scattered all over the place. Among the seven gods, this one belongs to the god who controls the wind.”
“And that is important to know, because…?” I found the information useless. The gods in my world are practically non-existent, or hard to contact unless you're a devoted follower they’ve shown favoritism to. The gods in this world are no different.
“Because! It can help Sirius find information on his sister and clear up if that’s the god he’s looking for, and help you remember who you are!”
I nearly forgot. I made an excuse of losing my memories when Sirius became suspicious for knowing the language but not the places a while back. I need to keep that in mind.
Darn you Sirius and your keen senses.
“...you’re right.”
“Of course Paimon is right!” So presumptuous she is. I’ll play along for now.
“Oh, what would come of me if not for the number-one-in-the-whole-world’s travel guide not being here with me?” I sounded overdramatic, yes, but she bought it and became even prouder.
“You would be a lost little Seelie, that’s for sure!”
Sirius giggled at our shenanigans. “Okay, Paimon is best travel guide. But, we need go. Will be late when arrive in city.”
“Oh no! We can’t have that. If we’re late, all the restaurants will be closed, and Paimon won’t be able to eat!” She was more worried about her empty stomach than monsters attacking us.
“*sight…* I guess the only thing inside that head of hers is food," I commented.
“Haha. Don’t let Paimon hear, she will eat you at night,” Sirius said with a jokingly-creepy voice.
“Ha-ha-ha… Getting eaten by a flying child is not on my experience list,” I said with sarcasm. “Anyway, we should follow her. We don’t want her drowning in another pond…”
The only response I got was him giggling. We ran after Paimon. She is not to be left alone for a second, lest you want your rations to go poof.
But nothing would have prepared us for what we would see in the sky that day.
“Are you confident we’ll be able to meet this god?” I said.
We managed to catch up to Paimon before she ran into any trouble. Now, we were closer to the statue we saw on the hill.
“Paimon’s not sure… Paimon has never meet any of The Seven in person, so Paimon doesn't know if they’ll answer. But, it's worth a try!”
“Better than nothing,” Sirius looked at me for confirmation.
“It’s progress,” saying that earned me a smile from him.
I looked away from him admiring the species of animal I’ve never seen before. Even the fruits were different. Reminds me that I need to try all the food I can. When in a new world, try all you can, especially food.
I’m thinking like Paimon now…
Approaching the statue, I stopped and looked at it from a distance. My mouth was left agape at the stone’s craftsmanship; from far it looked rather plain, but on closer inspection it was as complex as understanding chess; it was large, having angel wings in the back; the silhouette was that of a person, with braids and a good figure.
Was this the god of wind?
Paimon went in front of us before I could marvel at it any longer. I’ll have time to gaze at it later.
“As we all know, poetry and language flow like the wind…” she began.
“Wowww, Paimon. Didn’t realize we had a poet in our group,” I clapped.
“Oh, for goodness sake! Leave Paimon alone!” her tiny legs stumped the air, showing our companions annoyance.
I raise my hands to shield myself from her wrath. “Fine, fine. I'll leave you alone for now.”
“What do you mean ‘for now’?!”
Before Paimon’s anger flowed out, Sirius decided it was the best time to take a dip in the pond, splashing Paimon and I.
“Ah!” Paimon tried to take cover. But a little too late, she was as wet as I was.
“Was that really necessary?” I asked, looking at myself.
He smiled at us. “You two stopped,” He swam to the minuscule island in the pond where the statue was.
Paimon shook like a wet puppy, splashing even more water on me.
“OI.” I was ignored.
She flew right above the pond joining Sirius, leaving me behind. Thanks Paimon.
Do I really have to go there? I’m already wet, so I might as well.
I took my shoe and socks off, I didn’t want them smelling bad later after they dried. My right foot was the first to make contact with the water. Nope. It was iced cold. Not going. No, with a little spice of Nuh-huh. Sirius could get all the attention from the statue all he wanted because, I. Ain't. Going.
“[Name]! You coming?” Sirius got my attention.
“No, I’m good! I’ll just…look around the area!” I told him, quickly putting my socks and shoes on.
“Okay, don’t go far!” He told me before focusing on Paimon and the statue.
Now. what to do, what to do?
I walked around the pond finding nothing of my interest. Then, a sound came into earshot. It was the same one I heard when the vision appeared back on the beach! Was I going to get another one?
I see as Sirius touches the statue, and a ball of…air? Leaps into his body. The star in his chest and his wrist that were previously black, are now filled and glowing with teal.
My perspective comes back to the spot I was formerly.
What was the thing that went into Sirius’s body? I wondered.
Suddenly, a zephyr flowed in my direction. It was playful, messing with my hair. Then it became strong and lifted my cloak. I was amazed at first, right before the little demon made it fall, slamming it against my face. I yelped in surprise. I could hear soft giggles in the breeze.
The wind was mocking me.
I won’t forget this, you little…
“[Name]! There you are!” Paimon shouted as she got closer to me.
“You don’t have to yell for me to hear Paimon, I’m not deaf,” I winced.
“Oops, sorry.”
“It’s fine. So, did you two discover something interesting?” I asked, pretending I didn’t just see an orb go into Sirius’s body.
They both nodded with big smiles.
“Yup! Sirius resonated with the statue, and is now able to control the power of Anemo!”
“Excuse me?” I said dumbfounded.
“Uhmm, Sirius resonated with the statue?” Paimon tilted her head in confusion.
“No yeah, I heard that part. What do you mean he can use the power of Anemo?”
Sirius put his hand out and concentrated. Then a small ball of air was formed.
I was gone for two seconds, and Sirius is already getting powers??? How is that fair? I want powers too!
To say I was mad would be an understatement. I was furious.
Couldn't it have been me instead? All those times where I dreamed of having cool magic and powers have been shattered. They’re so close, yet so far away. Darn you Sirius!
“Now I’m the only one without powers… Great.”
“In his defense, he didn’t know he would get them,” Paimon defended. “Maybe the gods didn’t give you any powers because you are mean, [Name],” Was she trying to provoke me? She is reminding me of someone annoying I know.
I gave her a nasty glare before letting it go. “Now, can you please show us the way to Mondstadt city. I’m getting hungry and tired of this day.”
“Oh, Paimon is too! Paimon can’t wait to taste the sweet delicacies of the nation of freedom…” her mouth watered at the thought of her stomach being full, “Let’s move then!”
Paimon took the lead down a path to a forest. If there was a way to avoid forests I would tell Paimon to make a detour, but it seems this is the only way to the city, so I stayed shut.
From what I saw on the hill, the city is built on an island in the middle of a gigantic lake. It’s a good idea. It keeps enemies and monsters at bay. With only one entrance to the city, regulating who comes in and who goes out is as easy as pie!
Guess I was daydreaming about the city for a while, because before I knew it, we were approaching the forest. I could see a few signs from here.
I always get fascinated by old methods of engineering cities.
“Wow! What is that!?” I heard Paimon ask, “There’s something huge, in the sky!”
“Woww…” Sirius let out in amazement.
I turned to see what all the commotion was. Honestly, what was so amazing that both Paimon and Sirius were amazed.
“Huh?”
My eyes couldn’t believe what they were seeing.
It was a dragon….
A damn dragon.
“HUHHHHH???????????”

Hey siri, how to take care of an aura jelly blob?
Continuation of my series | part 1 | part 2
Seelie! Genshin characters x Platonic! Gn! Reader
Sumeru men edition
Tags : fluff, crack, scenarios
Warnings : cursing, mentions of animal attack
Summary : you took home a strange creature, that looked nothing like anything from your world. So, you try to take care and somehow live with this sentient balloon.
You didn't know what had happened at all. You didn't know how and why you took home an intellectual blob with pretty colors. But, right now there is no time asking questions, as this flying circle thing has been squeaking for about 30 minutes, trying to explain you something. You came up with an idea in your mind, but for a moment thought it would be impossible. But, who knows? Maybe this creature actually has an intelligence and can write what they wanna say on a notebook?
Grabbing a empty notebook and a pencil from your workspace table, you open it and give the pencil to the creature. Shockingly, it holds it with tiny arms, and levitating themselves closer to the paper, they start to scribble something.
Wanderer ♥︎
"Filthy humanoid creature! I am the unnamed wanderer from teyvat! I know nothing about the surrounding environment around me. Tell me, where am I, so I can figure out a way to return to my homeland. And don't you dare to take advantage of my current state! I am powerful beyond your understanding, even if I'm not in my original form."
Okay, that's kinda freaky. Why is an aura balloon acting all supreme now?
When you read what he wrote, an "really?" expression set on your face. That's probably why he zapped you when you took him out of your bag.
As much as you know, there isn't a place called "teyvat" in any part of the globe. So, this thing is from another one. Great. You somehow bringed an alien into your house.
But at least, some of your questions were answered.
You found a bit funny that a floating circle with cat ears and tail was deliberately trying to boss around, though you didn't wanna get electrocuted again, so you simply followed whatever demands this alien thing could have.
Oh, his demands were BIG. No sleeping past 6 AM, doing intense research on the topic of multidimensional lapping, and long explanations about literally everything your world can offer you.
Well, you are glad that you don't have to feed him or watch after him.
That last part was a lie, as this seemingly harmless boss companion of yours was dangerously curious, and happened to cause trouble even if he was as soft as jelly.
Yeah, that time he wanted to see what type of clothes do your humans wear, he shaked that closet a little too much, as it almost fell on you.
You learned that he is surprisingly very strong after that, he even helped you put the heavy wood rectangle back in place.
Or that time you both were taking a walk in the forest, and he came too close to an aggressive tank with antlers, a 6 feet tall moose, making him react violently to you.
Gladly, the moose couldn't come any closer as your blue-purple friend somehow casted a heavy gust of wind, strong enough to push the animal away.
Your angry little jelly blob rushed to your side after that, afraid of you damaging yourself in any way. After scanning your face for any injuries and finding none, the cat blob made sure to not to stray away from you far.
Kaveh ♡
"Thank you, kind-hearted humanoid! I was so scared when I woke up in that place. Your rescue will be forever remembered by me. I am Kaveh, the architect of the sumeru city! It is an honour to be acquainted with such a peculiar creature like you! Please, help me find a way for me to get back to my planet."
First off, did he mention sumeru? The ancient city that existed centuries ago? Second off, did he call you peculiar? These balls be wildin
The warm-yellow bunny eared balloon floated around you excitedly, waiting for your response. You wanted to pet him and slap him into the void at the same time.
You got his vibe just right in your first interaction. The jelly ball acted all cute and adorable, but the clinginess of his made you progress on the aggression part in the cuteness-aggression feeling way more.
Seriously, this piss blob's ignoring of your personal space is on another level. The amount of times you had to shove him away from nuzzling all over your face and hair is overwhelming.
In his eyes, you are a majestic architectural masterpiece. He takes notes how your eyes and ears are on the same level, how your brows are exactly perfect centimeters away from your eyes. He loves your nose structure, he often stares at it to much, gaining a questioning look from you.
He is just like that with literally everything else in your apartment. He takes notes of the proportions of some objects, and in his seelie mind he finds ways to project your modern structures into his own.
Other than disturbing your piece he likes to look out the window, stare down at all of the other buildings and examine them with extreme focus.
Sometimes he even tries to make a sketch with his itty bitty hands, but fails miserably and comes crying to you, burying himself in your arms and making you pet his smooth body.
Al-haitam ♥︎
"I am Al-haitam, and I come from another world, as you probably already have guessed from our appearance differences. I thank you for taking me into a safe environment, may the archons bless your kind-soul. I ask you to fulfill my another wish, help me return back."
Who are archons? Are they some kind of deitys? Gods perhaps? You truly don't know.
His calm and reserved behavior matched his talking style. He kinda reminded you of the mystical tree, his colors and a leaf like antenna confirmed your statement further.
That's probably why you would burst out laughing whenever the green aura circle would act all smart, reading books and watching educational videos on youtube with you.
Though, after laughing your ass off, you would always think of his behavior as cute in a way. So much that you would have to hold your hands in place and resist the urge to just squeeze the life out of him.
Sometimes you couldn't hold it tough, and give in to your desires, smiling and giggling as you nuzzle this jello orb body of his.
Fighting back and eventually winning, he would aggressively bring your communication notebook and write down that your relationship is purely professional and you are disturbing his necessary research.
Making a ridicilously serious face and nodding repeatedly you would leave him alone for some time, only to come back again to lay on him and fight in the process.
Eventually he would just give up and go with the flow of your playfulness, seeing as he got exhausted of reading multiple books already.
And when you would get tired, you both would just lay there, napping peacefully as he nuzzles in your chest, listening to your heartbeat and think of how strange you are in his world perspective.
After waking up from a quick nap, he would poke you with his tiny arms and tug you to stand up to go to the library with him.
He really loved your libraries, the sight of your extremely detailed and textured bookshelfs and scriptures would make him scream like a fangirl on the inside.
He also liked your concentrated state, with your reading glasses on and gaze fixed on the letters. He would enjoy it even more when you would take notes of the subject, he's genuinely amazed of your handwriting.
Cyno ♥︎
"I am the general Mahamatra, Cyno. I thank you for saving me from the streets. I would be more than happy if you could get me back in my world, teyvat. Thanks in advance, or should I say, in later on."
What the hell was that. Was it... a joke? Okay, now is not the time to question what type of humor does this purple circle has.
Oh, but he's questioning you, looking at you with such a attentive gaze. Is he waiting for you to laugh?
Fulfilling his wishes, you chuckled from the amusement of not getting the joke at all. The blob didn't care though, as he simply jiggled in his place, proud of himself.
From that moment you discovered that this alien orb is a terrible jokester, as he would literally pull you from whatever you were doing to just check his new made ones.
And everytime you couldn't help but laugh histerically at his antics, because you wouldn't get the premise at all. All of his jokes never made sense, but were the most hilarious thing you laughed at in a while.
And he would always jiggle with pride after you laughed, bro really thought he gained a fan of his jokes💀.
One day you thought about showing him your world's perspective of humor, as you sat him up on the couch and turned on the tv with popular comedy shows.
Safe to say he would repeatedly jump from his seat, and roll on the couch from side to side, as his purple anubis ears would jiggle uncontrollably.
You took it as a sign of him liking it, and soon enough you both had a routine of watching comedy shows and gasp from laughing.
At first you thought he was just a happy go lucky guy, not realizing he can be sort of a guard dog.
Really, you only saw him being serious when he sensed something and flew to it's direction, only for it to be a racoon that he scared away with mini thunder.
Now you got why he was such a bright color of purple. Not gonna lie, you were a little scared to hold him after that, afraid he'll electrocute the shit out of you😰.
But it never happened, so you guess he's only friendly to you? Honestly, you felt kinda honored to have this status.
Tighnari ♡
"Greetings, suspectable another species of humankind. I am Tighnari, the forest ranger of the sumeru region. It is a pleasure to be in your natural environment, being able to study your world. Though, I would appreciate it if you could help me return back to sumeru. I still have a ton of things to do back there, so please, make sure to fulfill my request."
Is he some type of a scientist? "A pleasure to be in your natural environment, being able to study your world" yeah, my ass.
And he was an ass. Pain in the ass, to be exact.
He wouldn't leave you alone, wherever you would go or whenever time it was. He was always around you, floating and examining your features.
He just can't help himself, you look so strange! And everything around you looks so strange. He just has to know atleast something about the place he is in right now, what type of setting it is, how does it work, and yada yada yada...
That's what lead you to the situation you are in now, as he peeked out of your hoodie pocket, staring at all the contests of the supermarket you were in.
Even if you had told him already a thousand times that he can't go with you because he doesn't look like everybody else, he didn't listen and sneaked inside your clothes, successfully getting out of the house with you.
You desperately tried to cover his enormous ears with your hands, stuffing him further inside the pocket only for him to pop out from the other side. What a nosy aura blob.
It would get even worse when he would fly out to scan some object like salty pickles, thinking of it as peculiar, when in reality the only thing that's peculiar was him.
He would closely watch whenever you would put something in the cart, taking notes on how you hold the product and how you place it inside the metal structure.
He especially got very freaky about your world's greenery, demanding you to go out with him into a park, a nearby forest or literally anywhere where there is some type of plants.
You instead decided to take him into a local botanical garden, and when I say he went crazy, he went crazy.
Stopping every 3 minutes to find a new plant and examine it for about 20 minutes you and him spent the whole day in that garden.
He would poke your shoulder to it being numb, asking you to explain or tell what kind of plant it is, where does it grow, how does it grow, can we take it home, all that nerdy shit.
You did end up taking some small house plants afterwards, due to his unstoppable crying and squeaking, like a child wanting their parent to buy candy in the store.
He then made sure to always bug you to take care of the plant, saying that he is "incapable" of doing so himself. What a troublesome circle.
Oof, this ones LONG. And I'm proud of it😜. Genuinely hope you enjoy this, cuz I spent an eternity writing this😭.

Do AI Dream? [1]
Synopsis; You figure out the truth of your world, of yourself, of everything and everyone.
Warnings; Existential crisis, and some overworking!
Word Count; 778
A game.
That’s all this is.
A game.
A stupid fucking game that people use for entertainment.
You’re not real, you never were. And you have to accept that truth.
The sky is truly fake, just as told; It all makes sense now, why the days felt so monotonous, why almost no one ever moved from their spots. Why those you’ve defeated would seemingly come back to life after only a few moments of defeat- Magically appearing out of thin air.
As you walk through the streets with a blank expression you take a look at your ‘life’ and realize there’s truly nothing left for you. If there was anything for you to begin with.
You seem to be the only ‘person’ aware of the truth. All attempts to get others to wake up are met with blank stares, they don’t react- No one reacts.
You’ve tried consulting your closest friends and allies, however, you’re met with the same blank stares.
You wish you never became self-aware. How did it even come to this? …Stars.
The night the stars were sent down, was the day you became like this.
What do they have to do with that?
No… There has to be something or someone else behind it. This whole experience is still fresh and new to you after all.
So thus, you went through some digging to find the truth.
A few days go by without progress, much to your dismay; You’ve looked through all the information you could get your hands on, went to every person you could see & find- Even if you were met with nothingness. There’s not one bit of information that looked useful.
You’ve lost almost all hope.
Almost.
Some strange menu quickly pops up one day as you fight- Time seems to stop completely, and everything has frozen.
What this incredibly strange phenomenon is, you don’t know, you’d like to do more research on it however!
You look at the menu for as long as you can, analyzing each and every single icon, symbol, colors & etc. You wonder whatever they may be for.
Ah, why didn’t you think of looking into language sooner? Of course whatever this language is must be important to what you’re trying to look for!
But it doesn’t match up to any language you know… You can’t really understand what the symbols mean since it’s in an unknown text… You make a mental note of yourself to begin to research and find as much information as possible on that language and translate it as soon as you can.
Those boxed icons however, you can understand, at least, to some form of degree- Magnifying glass, a few sheets of paper, cards, a bag, someone's side profile & etc… You try to make out the meanings of the icons as best as you can, coming up with what you hope to be accurate conclusions for now.
Your analysis comes to a halt, as the menu disappears as quickly as it appears. You ingrain as much of the image as you can inside your mind.
And then you’re forced to fight again… Ugh, why do you even do this stuff? You’re not one to fight… Or maybe you are, I haven’t read your wiki or delved into your background much.
You lay restless on a bench somewhere, you’ve finally stopped fighting and finished all tasks after awhile- And you’re beat.
As much as you need to rest the reminder that you need to study and research whatever the hell that menu thing was and the truth of your world becomes far, far more important in your mind.
Your mind lingers back to the icons again, what could those mean? You take out a notebook you’ve recently begun to keep close to jot down any sudden ideas on these strange phenomenons.
It seems that the thing controlling yours has similar concepts and ideas considering the familiar objects you saw.
You begin to think of the magnifying glass, it might symbolize trying to find something… Perhaps quests of some sort? The paper could be research- But that would go hand in hand with the magnifying glass, would it not? And so on and so forth you theorize on the symbols' meanings.
Several hours pass, you seem relatively okay with all you’ve put out. You finally, finally get off from the bench and head back to wherever you’re staying.
What a day… You lay down, the exhaustion from fighting and using all of your fictional brain cells to hypothesize on the outside force quickly catching up, and you fall asleep.
Ah, sweet little you, so dear and precious… Don’t worry, you’ll get your answers soon.
Notes; Inspired & based off of this; One sided love, Darling’s Canon Romance, Childe’s Self-Inserts, Old man Pierro, Special Skins, Reverse Isekai, Vaporon Copypasta, Antagonist Darling, Cardboard Cutouts, Self Awareness, Disgust, & Streamer Diluc & Ei, Streamer Scaramouche & Fischl, Streamer Xiao, Ganyu & Zhongli, Streamer Aether, Albedo, Childe, Scaramouche & Xiao’s Traveler gets kicked, Android Darling Chiori Cosplays
There’s only ever drabbles and imagines of this stuff and I only found ONE fic of this so I decided fuck it and make this teehee.
Reader isn’t stupid, their a bit blunt too. So sorry if you aren’t really like that!
Characters may be OOC, but I’ll do as much research as I can to understand their character better when writing them.

Isekaing into genshin is fine and all, but it’ll literally be a nightmare
You’re isekaied into genshin, and you essentially just wake up in a unknown land, with no money, no proper clothes, no house, no weapon to your name. and the worst part? People sometimes forget that the world of Teyvat has its own language. (skipping the fact of language barrier doesn't necessarily make a isekai fic bad, I've just seen a very minimal amount of fics acknowledge it) Me personally? theres gonna be a whole lot of panic breakdowns and crying. which means, you're basically running wild without any way to even talk to people without seeming suspicious (who tf is this stranger, speaking a language that no ones ever heard before?) Visions? powers? Lmao. Sure, you MAY have a chance of having the same privileges' of cycling through the elements just like the traveler, but then again, you’re not exactly a celestial being like them. And speaking of the traveller, as far as my genshin lore knowledge goes, they’re the ONLY shot you’ve got at potentially returning back home. (seeing your fav characters is really neat, but homesickness would probably make you crumble in a few weeks) Easy peasy task for you. hunt down the traveller and fall to your knees and beg them to help you out. Maybe even take a side quest to search for Nahida for any more potential help. God forbid the fatui find out that theres another descender (you). Y’know what. Maybe I WILL write out a realistically accurate isekai. I sure don’t see much of those. And fuck you readers, im gonna write in myself as the omnipresent narrator who’s gonna be a voice inside your head. The funniest part? I’m gonna make the reader use “Yin” as their fake name in genshin. Why? cause you’re gonna get a chance to be y/n of course.

An idea for a SAGAU
Or it could be just an isekai? SAGAU’s been my comfort hobby for a while now (almost a whole year, yeah). I think it reflects very well that desire many people have of living an adventure in their favorite fantasy world with the characters they love, and that’s why Y/N / Reader is most of the time a big, knowledgeable fan of Genshin Impact, but what about the people who don’t play or even know of this game? Someone like that being transmigrated to the Teyvat has potential for both comedy and angst, I don’t think I have seen many stories of this type.
But let’s be fair and make it 50-50: Could be a story about a huge Genshin player who knows everthing about the story, the characters and is also pretty good at playing it; they have a friend who doesn’t give a f*ck about it and has no clue what it’s about, then one day said friend gets transported to Teyvat, and their family and friends in this world freak out when they go missing, but the player discovers their friend has become a playable character in the game, thus they are the one who guides them throughout the story and this dangerous, beautiful magical world.
An if you want to throw a little bit of SAGAU creator on top, the characters might believe the transported friend is an envoy from the Creator, then be amazed/jealous that their beloved deity is this outlander’s friend.
If anyone is interested in making a whole story of this, even if it’s short, please let me know cause I will 101% read it.

Immortality
AU: Genshin SAGAU Isekai, Creator!Reader has their religion
Genre: Bittersweet, in between fluff and angst
Characters: You and unnamed Genshin NPCs
Content Warning: assumed Religion is present, mentions of human death and life, loss and succession
A/N: writing practise, may expand upon, depends!
They rejoiced, spun in circles as they pranced like deer and dresses flourished under the sun.
Your gargoyle pair looks on, somehow stoic and rocklike despite being soft to the touch. All three of you feel the warmth through the shimmering carriage veil, dyed into rainbows and bubbles.
As it loops on, the people change; their descendants succeed each one of them. The dance recoloured, unrecognisable if not for the same spirited fingertips, extended excitedly towards you in perpetual invitation. It still makes your mind blank for a bit whenever they await your response.
You try not to sink in your memory of the first fiesta. Your gargoyles, at least, will always be here as you shall live; their same cold yet gentle nudges keep you at bay when you turn away, mind wandering back to the swaying braids, face caressed in the embrace of floating dandelions.
You guide them into another spin as the laughter raises with the playful seas.

Each story begins with some form of call, doesn’t it?
That was what I expected. A call from the unknown, the one that would have guided me in the matters of this journey like the others. It was something that you may think that everyone would expect, as if you were chosen, you would expect something to tell you you were.
I was one of those people. Though, I soon came to realize that the assumption I made was entirely false. Bogus. Not true.
Why, if it was, things would have gone differently. And maybe, I had wished it did, if it meant that I would be able to save face from what had happened since the beginning.
It was one of the most recent patch when we received an update to the story on Genshin, which was all about the continuation of the twins’ quest. Everyone was hyped and talked about it in great lengths, some even mentioned that it had opened so many possibilities for the twin that was taken, but to what avail? We wouldn’t know.
And thanks to the leakers saying that the story was going to be much more than we had all anticipated, everyone was already up in arms on updating the game, and I was one of them. It was already interesting from what we learned on the events, but hearing about the outlander we were playing more and more was something I was more keen to learn about.
While the update was still running in the background, I began to scroll through one of the servers that I joined, already seeing people’s reactions to it all with what they found out about the quest. One of my closest friends were already talking about how big of a deal it was, and how it had confirmed one of the growing theories that was made within the 1.0 - 2.0 era.
Although, some of them had piqued my curiosity.
“Wait, we’re going to see what?”
One of them had mentioned a character I forgot in the past, mostly because he wasn’t so involved at the time. In that regard, hearing about him appearing was a feat in and of itself, and especially with what happened last time back at the Chasm.
Holy shit, Dainsleif’s coming? I thought he was dealing with that in the Chasm, so how—
Wait. I had to pause.
Dainsleif must be relevant. He is usually when it comes to the abyss twin. But then what does he have to do this time? Is it about Khaenri’ah?
It wasn’t as though I hated Dainsleif. He was a good character, and it was something I myself wouldn’t deny. After all, if he wasn’t, I would most likely speak ill of him. But because of this, it presented another thing that I wouldn’t want to admit in fear that people who like him may end up saying that I didn’t understand the game.
… I was one of those that genuinely thought he was some plot device to push along the narrative, and that without him, things wouldn’t have changed.
Hey, some thought the same way I did, didn’t they? They mentioned that some were rather redundant in the story and perhaps even annoying, while others said that they only did 1 action only and didn’t deserve to be in the story. But to me, if Dainsleif wasn’t present, the story would have stayed how it is.
…
Hah, not like they’d think that way. They’ll think I don’t like Dainsleif, just like those lore maniacs and Dain simps.
When the update managed to get through, I set down my phone and turned it off before proceeding to click ‘START’ on the screen. It’s fine if there are additional things to download – I think it’s better to get it started now.
Seeing the game load in, my eyes drifted to the resources being downloaded, though it left once it was validated and shown me the familiar screen.
Welcome back, [name]@gmail.com.
Checking the server, I clicked yes and waited in anticipation for the game to load. Seeing the loading screen go by slowly for a moment, only to speed up until the door at the end of the hallway was built, I held no hesitation and clicked to enter the game.
Time for dailies, I mused with a huff. I’ll check the events once I’m done and see what’s up.
The update wasn’t that great.
It was hard to tell considering most of it was catered to the lore, sure, but it made things confusing for me. The revelations had made my head ache, and even more so when the quest in and of itself opened more questions than answers. Dainsleif coming in was one thing I didn’t expect, but I had to take a break on it after enduring headaches on being with an NPC I can hardly care about.
It was much like the Chasm event with Yelan and the gang, but if only this catered specifically to the NPC and NPC alone. And Gods, did my brain ached.
Maybe tonight isn’t it for me. I had been busy with other pressing matters to focus on the game, I thought to myself as I closed Genshin. I’ll just pick it up again when I feel ready. It is an archon quest, so technically, it won’t be as urgent like the events that I have to finish them.
It was a little bit of a bummer, but I tried to keep myself from thinking about it by going through the server. But even after I aired my own grievances to a few close friends of mine, it didn’t made me feel better. If anything, it made me feel worse, considering their replies to me.
Complex? I scoffed. Yeah, right. Like they aren’t on some power trip.
…
…
I saw them type.
And stop.
And type again.
And stop.
And finally…
Ping!
I checked the message, and I found a message from Mae herself.
… Well deserved.
Before I can reply to her to stop her, the last message I saw her was:
… And try as I might, I got blocked from sending messages to her.
I knew that Mae was just throwing a fit. She’s always like this, and it’s always her that reaches out to me. It’s like she can’t have Nyx speak to me like a normal person.
She always has to be the one to act as her savior. It’s disgusting.
It wasn’t like Nyx was entirely not at fault with what he did back then. Back then, he had done things and pushed Mae to feel like she was walking on eggshells. It was mostly out of guilt-tripping, but after getting professional help and a break from the Internet, he had returned and became a better person.
Mae and Nyx had a talk about what happened, and from what I can recall, they decided to try again. From his end, it was revealed that he didn’t know and saw her as someone he could rely on and depend on more for her help. However, as time went on, it was clear that it felt unbalanced. And perhaps even more so… One-sided.
… Still, it never ceased to make me feel like the two are just tied together all because of a sunken investment. An investment that I personally think is pointless.
As I clicked off the server and decided to turn my status off to invisible to avoid the duo, I grabbed my phone and earphones and plugged it in, soon moving to lie down on the mattress with a creak. Switching to a playlist on Spotify, I lied down, but I can still feel the edge from before.
Gods, those two make me pissed. It's almost like I can't catch a break with them.
I let out a scoff and just focused on the music, taking a deep breath before I closed my eyes shut. I didn't focus on anything but the song in and of itself, letting the melody take me further and further away.
… Further and further from the place I was familiar with, and to the place I want to be in.
I made sure to have my heart set onto going there. Onto Teyvat. It was silly, sure, but I know shifting works. I have reached many, many close calls when I shifted previously, and I knew tonight was the night I will be able to get there.
All I have to do was just focus on the melody of the song and let it take me away. Nothing more, nothing less.
After all, it was the only thing that I can truly focus without being angry at something else interrupting me. And while I stayed in the position I was in, I can feel the song merge together in its rhythms and tunes and drift off bit by bit into the comfortable white noise.
… And the feeling of warmth spreads on my body as I slowly feel the effects occurring, up until I can visualize the place I want to be in. The situation and even down to who I'm seeing right now.
The one whose eyes shone like gold greeted my imagination as the last notes of the music in my playlist grows quiet.

I was playing Genius Invocation yesterday, but out of nowhere this idea came to me like tge whispers of an old god.
How would the characters react to knowing they are the creator's favorite card? (Mine are Beidou and Ningguang, but if you are confortable, I would like to know yours as well)
AHDAALLL I HAVENT PLAYED TGI CARD GAME ENOUGH!! SO FOR NOW I RLLY LOVE THE WAY CYNO AND KAEYA'S ART LOOKS (tho diluc does look shmall in his hehe)
Thank you for your patience!! Sorry this is SO FUCKING late :0 and if it’s bad! i havent rlly liked my writing the past couple pieces, so i stuck with some fun headcanons i thought of while kicking me feet and twirling my hair over this question hehehe
Sun: Gender Neutral Reader (they/them only)
Planet: General SAGAU/Isekai Stuff :)
Orbit: Headcanons
Stars: Beidou, Ningguang, Kaeya, Cyno
Comets & Meteors: Content Warnings: Cussing & Trigger Warnings: None Known.
☆
Beidou:
BIGGEST EGO BOOSTS OF HER LIFE LMAO
SHE WOULD LITERALLY SUBTLY FLEX EVERYTIME UR AROUND IM CRYINGGG
Every fucking port knows she’s a favored one, every goddamn pirate knows it atp, hell maybe even some abyss monsters at sea too-
(Kazuha’s happy for her, but also lowkey jealous)
literally got one of her cards framed and hung in her captain’s quarters, and insisted you sign it omfg-
Ningguang isnt surprised tbh, (she knows u like strong women lol)
Ningguang:
…she gives one of the most smug smirks of her entire fucking life.
All of Liyue is gushing for her, not that she isn’t also excited on the inside, she’s just more proud than anything on the outside/for appearances
Literally set up a whole date meeting that felt like it was about to turn into a goddamn wedding proposal
I’m talking giving handcarved furniture, household necessities but they’re in pretty colors that all match (like a gold tea kettle, gold throw blanket, etc.)
Full nine-yards different kinds of teas, cakes, and all accustomed to your taste
so if u dislike super sweet stuff there are more savory items, the teas can be more bitter, or if u love sweets, this woman is giving you a bakery basically every day for nearly 2 weeks, u dont have enough space in the cabinet for all these teas- help-
Kaeya:
so fucking smug on the outside, def brags about it in Angel’s Share and he’ll only just be tipsy he’s so fucking excited to talk abt it
whenever conversations end or get a lull, he just, “So anyway, our All-Powerful Guide, really likes my TCG card, maybe even above yours, Diluc…”
pls stop him he’s annoying Diluc, and slowly other patrons 😭 (there are bar rules posted on the wall, and Diluc adds one, not for the first time, specifically for Kaeya to stop talking about TCG while in the bar LMAO)
Now all Kaeya has to do is just pull out his card (cough he’s constantly got it in his pocket, the one he asked u to sign cough)
Rosaria just looks the other way like if she can’t see it it’s not real, Diluc will literally be in the middle of making a drink for one of them and just leave it halfdone and attend to somebody else, Venti’s eye twitches-
and the entire bar just groans too LMAOOO
(have a meme I made just for you <3 )
Cyno:
oh no.
Look what you’ve done, you’ve seduced the General Mahamatra!!
Take responsibility, play TCG with him every time you see him now lmao, the only reason all of Sumeru knows you like his card (which makes it all that more desirable to ppl who do play, and collectors)
is bc he talked to Tighnari about it for hourssss, and then it made it’s way down the grapevine, and if they didn’t find out that way, the other was just seeing the usually stern and formidable General Mahamatra nearly vibrate out of his headpiece when you come near him every time you visit
Cyno weirdly gains like, 20x the luck when ur either playing against him, or sitting watching him play someone else, he’s struggling to find partners tbh bc “you’re my lucky charm? Of course I’m winning more.”
When you initially told him about him being one of ur fav cards, he literally looked like there was a loading sign over his head… Then proceeded to nearly break your ribs hugging you so hard, and nearly take ur eye out with the ears on his headpiece lol
☆
Sorry if all my writings shit for these past 2 posts! Idk im just thinking its not so good rn and idk how to fix it-
anyway I’ve started playing Breath of the Wild over the past like 2-3 months I think, and it’s amazingggg
I may or may not be both getting gender envy and also a huge crush on Link help-

Sagau Headcannons
A/n: I see you all like the sleep deprived Headcannons.
Dying
I am bad at keeping my characters alive or rather I have a screw loose.
Imagine trying to defeat a boss with only one character alive in the party (definitely did not experience this 5 minutes ago)
The only character alive would be praying to you, to let them win this battle in your name and glory.
If they win the battle, they're stopping by an altar or statue of you and praying thanks as they survived the brush of death. After the prayer they'd clean, polish or train with their weapon given by you.
If they lose the battle, they're not going to blame you. No...No...no they're going to blame themselves and how they should've been stronger and faster. You gave them weapons they could only dream of having or even never heard of, You also gave your blessings towards them (levelling and artifacts).
The characters who died earlier they'd be in the same boat as if they lost. Whether of they won or not, they still died.
Travelling & Companions
Your most favoured characters who managed to be on your team are ecstatic.
They'd be so amazed by the different places and attractions.

Authors note: Sup, how's everyone's day? Amazing as usual I presume? Anywho- I've been trying out this new style of drawing as mine solidifies. Also, I've realized that if I make less drawings with colors these chapters go a lot faster because I can't continue writing if I have an idea for a scene. I NEED to finish the drawing then go back to writing (It's rare if I continue writing after an idea).
A week has passed since I discovered I was in a game.
Sirius helped clear the final temple, returning Mondstadt's elemental flow back to normal after a week straight of work. Paimon and he were on their way to Acting Grand Master Jean to report the good news.
Unfortunately for me, I happen to be walking in the same direction to renew the book I borrowed from librarian Lisa, lest she comes looking for me if I don’t inform her I need more time with it.
Talk about bad luck.
“So, [Name], what’s new? Do you have something interesting to tell us?” Paimon questioned me.
“Nope. Got nothing new,” I did not look at her when I said that.
She stumps her little foot in the air. “What? What about that book you’ve been reading?! Have you not learned anything new after a week of reading it!?”
“Well, it’s nothing new for you. But it’s new for me. Lost memories, remember?”
“...What is the book about anyway?” She asked instead of responding to me.
“Teyvat’s history. I finished reading it, and I’m getting another one. This one was a very old edition.”
“Is Teyvat’s history that interesting to you?”
“Yes, very,” I nod. “What about you two? Anything else besides reporting back to Master Jean?”
“I wanted to ask them about the teardrop we found in the forest,” Aether responded. “It was left behind by Stormterror, so maybe they know what it is.”
“Good thinking! It could also help us deal with stormterror easier.”
Reaching the Knight's Headquarters, we saw Master Jean who appeared to be talking with someone.
“Look, it’s Jean!” Paimon pointed at her. “Who is she talking to?”
She seems to be talking to a woman. She had a black outfit with purple here and there; her hair a burned-blonde, bangs that rested right above her eyebrows; her face hidden behind a gray mask.
She spelled trouble through-and-through.
“Don’t know. But I have a gut feeling that she’s no good,” I said, eyeing her with distrust.
“Let’s wait for her to finish,” Sirius said. “We can wait on the side over here. I don’t want to be in the middle of the street.”
As we waited, we saw the frustration from both ends of the party. Jean looked adamant about her position, while the masked woman seemed to be irritated; she looked like she was trying hard to convince Jean to whatever she wanted from her.
I remember this part of the story. Jean gets pressured by a Fatui agent –a Snezhnayan diplomat– Anastasia, to kill Dvalin. Amalia warned me about them:
“Never. Ever. Trust the Fatui.”
The scary part about that was how she looked dead serious. Before then, I had never seen that side of her. The fact she changed so quickly too… I got nightmares for a month straight; Amalia would come in and tell me how I was a bad friend.
Ahg, I get shivers just thinking about it… I looked back at two political figures. I’ll trust Amalia and my gut feeling about the Fatui. Note to self: “Don’t talk to the Fatui.”
“Looks like she’s done talking to that person!” Paimon announced. “Let’s go talk to her.”
Jean’s gaze followed the masked woman, face laced with worry. Her eyes then darted towards us as we got in her peripheral view.
“Oh, Traveler, you're back,” she noticed I was with him, “and company… Is she the one you and Amber were talking about?”
“Yup!” Paimon confirmed. “This is [Name], our traveler buddy and official cook!” Her eyes sparkled at the mention of cooking.
I sighed, turning my attention to Jean. I smiled, “It’s a pleasure to meet you Master Jean.”
“Likewise,” she reciprocated the smile.
“Now that everyone is acquainted, Paimon has to ask. Who was that just now?”
“First, I would like to thank you,” she looked at Sirius, “Lisa informed me that the elemental flow is finally stable because of your help, and skill. For that, you have Mondstadt’s gratitude.”
Sirius scratched the back of his neck, embarrassed for getting compliments.
“Is someone getting shy now?~” Paimon teased.
“Leave him alone Paimon. He actually did something, unlike someone.”
“I told you, Paimon is moral support, moral support!”
“Anyway–” Jean intervened before she had to break up a fight, “the aftermath of Stormterror’s last attack is finally settled for the moment. But not the pressure from the delegation, in fact, it has become too big to ignore.”
“Delegation? From Liyue, or Inazuma City?” Paimon asked.
“Snezhnaya,” she paused and then continued, “they choose to follow the god of Cryo. Their envoys go by a particular name: The Fatiu. Heard of them?”
“Are you kidding? They are famous! Wait, infamous is more of the word.”
“Let me guess, the Fatui wants to take Stormterror down, right?” I said fully knowing the answer to the question.
“Correct. I don’t think killing Stormterro will do anyone any good, nor do I think it’s the right action to take. The Cryo god’s Fatui have always coveted the Anemo god’s power.” She had the same worried face I saw when the Fatui woman left, “I don’t believe they have Mondstatd’s best interest at heart.” I nod in agreement.
“Speaking of power…” Sirius began.
“What is it?”
“I have something I need to show the Knights,” he finished.
“Oh? Then let us go inside the Headquarter. We shouldn't discuss important matters…” she looked around, “out in the open.”
Jean led us inside. Before I stepped foot inside her office I stopped. Jean noticed and turned to see if everything was fine.
“Sorry guys, I need to return this book to Lisa,” I said from just outside the office.
“I see,” she understood and said nothing else about it, she knew how Lisa could be when a book was missing. “Before you go, could you do me a favor?”
“Yes. What is the favor?”
“Once you’re done, tell Lisa to come to my office please. We might need her.”
“Okay, I’ll tell her,” Jean closed the door dismissing me. I skipped a few steps to reach the other side of the building faster.
I opened the door to the library and went in. I looked at the front desk only to find it empty.
Lisa’s not there… Maybe she’s over here. I walked through the first floor, but no Lisa in sight.
Not here either… Going downstairs, I ran through the whole floor as there wasn’t anyone in the room, yet she wasn’t there either.
Where is she!? I yelled internally. So, she can miss a day, but we can’t? Talk about unfairness.
“Hi, darling.”
“AHHHHH!” I turned around but managed to slip due to a paper on the floor. “Ouf–! Awo! That hurt…!” rubbing my butt, the voice reached out their hand to help me up. I looked up and saw, the one-and-only, Lisa!
“Oh, dear, are you alright?” I took her hand and responded.
“Yeah, I’m fine…” I lied. My butt still hurts.
“You keep on getting scared whenever I greet you. I’m not that scary to you, am I?” She sounded hurt asking that.
I rolled my eyes. You look harmless, but you’re a rose with pesky thorns… That’s what Amalia has said anyway.
“Of course not, miss Lisa,” I dismissed her. I faked an innocent smile and said, “You look average to me.”
It looked like an arrow had hit her bullseye in the heart. She was mumbling how cruel youngsters are nowadays, and how, begin quote, ‘her beauty is fading because of her age,’ end quote.
I didn’t mean my comment obviously. I only said that to get back at her for the two times she’s given me a heart attack. She looks young for her age, that’s for sure.
“What are you back here for, returning the book I presume?” She asked me, leaving behind the commentary I made like I never said it in the first place.
“Yes, you see, the one I have is outdated–a century outdated to be precise–of the history of Teyvat,” I explained.
She hummed, “yes, I remember. I found it quite odd that you wanted to read such an old book. Now I know why.” She turned and waved her hand in a follow-me motion, “Come, I know exactly where the newer version is.”
We moved to the section that Amber showed me when I came here last time. Looking at it now, the history section was much bigger than I remembered.
“Here it is!” Lisa handed me a book. “This is the newest version, it came out a year ago.”
“Thank you again, miss Lisa,” I thanked her as I eyed the book.
I wonder what they added.
“Please, this is nothing compared to the work I had to do the past week,” she rubbed her shoulders. “Taking care of the Temples of the Four Winds was more of a hassle than I had imagined.”
We walked up the stairs and stood by the front desk.
“You’re being too modest. Thanks to you and the others, Mondsatdt has one less thing to worry about.”
“Thank you again, sweet-pie,” she smiled. “I checked out the book already, so you’re as free as a bird.”
“Thank you,” I lightly vowed and walked toward the door.
!
I almost forgot!
“Oh! Miss Lisa?”
“Yes?”
“Master Jean asked for you, she is in her office.”
“Ah, thank you for informing me. Now shoo, off you go,” she pushed me out of the library as she herself went out, locking it with a key after she made sure there was no one else inside.
“[Name], if you ever find yourself unable to find a quiet place to read, go to windrise. It was nice weather, and if you’re lucky, you’ll hear the soft strumming of a lyre.”
“Thank you for the advice,” I thanked her for the third time today. I walked out of the Headquarters and made my way to find a place to sit and read.
I can go to Windrise like Lisa suggested, I looked up to the blue, and the sky is clear. Oh! There is a Statue of the Seven there! I can try and obtain powers similar to how the MC did in the game— well, better said how Sirius did. Plus, there is a big space to test out the System.
The air near the sea is the best… I breached in the air.
I basked in the atmosphere underneath the massive oak tree, the symbol of Mondstadt’s hero – Vannessa.
The trail from Mondstadt City to Windrise was perfect. Not a single monster interfered, with a few slimes that minded their own business when I passed by. It was a bit strange, since I remembered they attacked on sight. But, this is the world of Genshin, some things are bound to change.
“All right, time to get to work. System!”
“I’m sorry, I can’t make a proper analysis at the moment,” Lisa said.
“Huh? But Paimon thought you were able to see some impurities.”
“Correct. But it’s not enough for me to come to a conclusion,” she turned to Jean and Sirius, “give me some time. I’ll take a look through the library's restricted section.”
Jean nods. “I’ll leave all the research to you then, Lisa,” she looks at the outlanders.
“I’ll notify you all if I make any progress,” she went closer to the crystal, “thought I wouldn’t go getting your hopes up. They are incredibly ancient texts, not to mention—Ouch!” Lisa retracted her hand from the object as the force of the impurities hurt her. “Gosh, that hurt!”
“Are you okay?” Jean worriedly asked, checking her friend from any injuries. The other two were just as concerned.
“Now, now, you three are looking at me like I’m half-dead. I’m fine. The impurities in the crystal…” she looked at it before continuing, “it hurts when I get close…” She hummed in thought. “It appears to react to Visions, repealing it even.”
“What? How can that happen?” Paimon asked.
“I’m not going over the details, if not we'll be here for days-on-end. All you need to know is that the impurities and the elemental energy we embody repel each other.”
“Really?” She looked at Sirius, “then why is he able to hold it?”
“That is a good question, and a question I don’t have the answer to, unfortunately.”
“...” Sirius stayed silent through the whole interaction. What could be in his mind?
“Anyway, the crystal would be better left in the hands of my cutie,” Sirius places the crystal back in his bag. “It will be a pain if left with – both literally and metaphorically.”
“Okay. I will keep it.”
“Fascinating… Do you know anything about what makes you special?” Jean asks Sirius in wonder. He nods in solidarity.
“Well, that's the end of that,” Paimon said.
“Traveler…” Jean called, “the knights of Favonius have another favor to ask of you. Please accept the title of honorary Knight and the gratitude of the Acting grand Master.”
“Honorary Knight…of Favonius?!” Paimon gave Sirius a smirk, “look at you go. You just arrived in Mondstadt and already have a super cool title! Paimon is impressed.” Sirius puffed his chest with pride.
“We gotta tell [Name] once we see her. Oouu, she’s going to make that angry face again, Paimon can just tell!” she says excitedly with a small fire in her eyes when she thinks of your face.
“Then this is a meeting concluded,” Jean dismissed then. “We’ll meet back here if you find anything.”
“Okey-Dokey! Let’s go!” Paimon and Sirius walk out of the office leaving Lisa and Master Jean alone.
“What peculiar little creatures they all are…”
“What are you mumbling about?” Jean inquired after hearing Lisa mumble.
“Oh, nothing. Just complaining about how I haven’t had a proper nap since the incident with stormterror started,” she lied.
“Don’t worry. Soon, we can all rest properly,” Jean reassured.
A little far from the Knight’s Headquarter…
“Okay, we’re far from the knights to hear us,” Paimon stands–floats–in front of Sirius, making him stop. “There’s something you didn't tell them. The boy. The one that communicated with the dragon, kinda hard to miss.”
“I know, Paimon. But I’d like to investigate on my own first,” Sirius explained to her. “And I don’t think he’s a bad guy.”
“So you do remember him,” a boy in green caught her eyes, “he looked just like the guy down there!” Sirius looked at the guy Paimon pointed at.
“The exact same shade of green, what a coincidence. Seems like green is a popular color.”
“See? See? Wait… Hold on a minute… that… that's the same guy!”
“Hmm… looks like him,” he said nonchalantly.
“Stop joking around and let’s go after him!”
