Genshin 5.3 Archon Story Quest Spoilers.

First of all wow. Seriously.

Natlan has brought so many emotions to me, and those who hate on it, I'm not sure what you're thinking. Yeah, I can get it can bring you out of it, with how cartoonish it can look, when it's supposed to be 'The Nation of War' and such. But minus a few pacing issues, honestly, the story is so well done, and so good for me.

The whole bridge between life and death. How deep that goes. I legit had to pause for a moment because of one moment in particular. Natlan as a whole has been great for me.

Will say, for me, The Captain is one of the best Fatui Harbs for my money. Lady Signora was tragic. Childe I will always love, mainly thanks to a friend they know who they are. Arlecchino for the same reason as that. But The Captain's entire arc, god. I'll be honest, I came into Natlan, a bit tired of Fatui, and how things are. But how The Captain is written, top notch all round.

To end on a final note, now I know why things are as they seem, which only makes it more exciting for me, and I cannot wait for more. This might be the end of 'Natlan arc' in a sense. But this is certainly not over.

Natlan archon quest? I saw the death of Mavuikka coming and got blindsided with Capitano. Didn't expect him to screw archon plan like this. So, hearth wrenching, tension upper certainly, but we knew in what we were going. We knew it would be a gut clencher quest

Now. That Lantern rite on the FUCKING other hand!?!

I was not ready, I did not expect the gut clench coming and did not expect Hu Tao fucking death!

Two death fake out in same update? Two pyro ladies death fake out? The hells Hoyo, calm down with the deaths, space them out a bit

Spoilers for the ending of Incandescent Ode of Resurrection under the cut!

So. He's 'dead'. But he's still breathing... But he wasn't in the silhouetted group of upcoming playable characters they showed in the special program. But a lot of people would pay for him! But this isn't the first time they've killed a fatui harbinger who could've just as easily been a playable character.

What do you guys think? I am pretty high in copium right now so I need someone to either give me hope or a reality check. Do you think he's still going to be playable somehow? And if not, is his role in the plot over?

I'd really miss him if this is to be the end of him... I hope we'll get to see him in flashbacks at least. I just assumed we'd get to play him so I was already saving up primos... I think that if he does become playable at some point, it'll be a long time before it happens. Hoyo will wait until we've forgotten about him and then he'll make a comeback in the most desperate of times... That's how my gut tells me it'd go. But idk man. In grasping at straws here.

Kinda crazy that first Capitano got hurt at the heart by Mavuika then we learn that he held countless souls in the exact same place, yet those two things are not related at all

Alright folk! I slept, and now can put my thought on paper... er... screen? Anyway! That archon quest!

Very fun interacting with everyone during feast, and Xilonen/

The whole ghost things was fucked up, but also ouch.

On to the quest then! The whole spiritual suport and ghost of the heroes past was something.

Pretty annoying I couldn't use the camera, there was some very cool photo. And then:

Quieck edit: I wonder if the attack change when we jump from water dinosaur against the eye at the end of the sequence change depending on current element of traveler

Mavuikka travel, ever onward, toward that distant light, and so they fear, and so they cower

And with that! We won! The fire is defeated, we got a badass sword, and a crown, and everyone cheer. (also pyro traveler)

Side note. Our mantra is awesome, lot of reference to Prométheus, and that's nice.

But doesn't it sound too easy?

(No joke, I was getting same feeling than the SUmeru timeloops, or Penacony victory)
