Honestly I've been so used to calling it the Geno route primarily due to the exposure to the name when Undertale was first getting popular.
I ain't a stickler for what it should be called if I'm gonna be real with ya - No Mercy is probably the best as is for base Undertale if we do wanna get on that idea - but this has reminded me how people feel weird calling Deltarune's varient of this the "Snowgrave Route" compared to the "Weird route", at least with a few people I've talked to. I don't judge either way - if it feels uncomfortable for ya, call it whatever else you want, so long as it fits well within the context of what that kind of route is.
Maybe it ain't all that comparable tbf, especially given the context of Genocide here but I've always been a bit Lasse Fairé with it. If the homies or others feel uncomfortable with the term though I never see any issue calling it something like No Mercy.
I DO dig fan takes on names though, especially in this Renaissance of Undertale fan games and this rise of Deltarune takes too, and hell, it should be encouraged for creators to go with their own takes on it beyond just the name.
Is it weird I've just grown uncomfortable with Undertale's murderous route being collectively referred to as the "Genocide" route -- given the very real ongoing genocides taking place for the world to see?
I'm not trying to take digs at people using the term "Genocide route," nor claim that using the term is trivializing the struggles of real people -- but I just think that, by now, there's a lot of better names that can be used to describe it.
For one, while Undertale doesn't have official route names, it does refer to the route as "murder" in the game files. There's also naming easter eggs for "Murder" and "Mercy," which give the response "That's a little on-the-nose, isn't it...?" With these two combined, it's entirely plausible that if there were official names, they could be "Mercy" (kill nobody) and "Murder" (kill everybody.)
Going off of this, there's a bunch of different names you can use:
Murder Route (simple, concise.)
Murderous Route (a little more flair!)
No Mercy Route (simple and concise, but problem: there's a Neutral ending with this name, where all encountered monsters are killed.)
Merciless Route (a little more flair, doesn't conflict with the former.)
Furthermore, there's names that other Undertale fangames use for their own "kill everyone" routes (albeit to better distinguish these routes from the original game's, and what you do in them.)
While these route names are more based on the contexts of their own routes' stories and content, they can be applied to Undertale pretty well!
TS!UNDERSWAP uses "Ruthless Route." I came up with this! It was originally an idea I had to replace Undertale's "Genocide Route" name, in a hypothetical "if I could have chosen the community-given route names" exercise. It's meant to best describe your actions: being utterly Ruthless, going out of your way to do things you shouldn't be -- and in the context of TS!UNDERSWAP itself, doing things worse than just killing.
"Eradication Route" is also something I've seen people use, given the route's journal status for eradicated monsters.
DELTATRAVELER uses "Obliteration Route." It's pretty to the point, and works really well with how Undertale's route isn't just about killing everyone, but draining the world of everything that makes it special -- until at the end, you obliterate everything.
Personally, I'm probably going to end up going with "Murder Route" due to its simplicity and in-game references. Let me know what you think!

Interrogation (Part 2)
“So, talk to me, old man. What have I been missing for the last couple of months?” Guin asked. “Is Geno still a genius with the brain of a caveman?”
“Oh, come now, Guin, is that any way to treat your brother?” Silver chided gently. “He may be a bit of a loose cannon, but he’s not a child anymore. He can make rational decisions now, I can trust that much out of him.”
“Really now? I'll believe that when pigs fly. You're telling me he hasn’t gotten into any accidents while at your lab or anything?”
His prosthetic tail tapped the ground. A thinking sign, a hesitant sign. “Depends on what you define as an ‘accident’.”
Her eye twitched. “On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a minor oopsie and 10 being borderline apocalyptic, how would you rate him now?”
“8.”
“Stars, old man, you can’t be serious!” Guin groaned. She knew her brother was an idiot, knew her brother was prone to reckless behavior - she wondered how he managed to keep up with the engineer for this long without killing himself on accident - but this was the icing on the cake. “What did he do this time?”
“He was involved in a rather... misshapen accident,” Silver explained, and Guin sat up straighter, ears at attention, taking mental notes. “He thinks he can take on the world on his own, and he gets banged and bruised in the worse way possible. It’s honestly annoying having to tell him not to do that and he does it anyway.”
“Oh, man...” Guin’s previous attitude switched to something more serious. Geno, hurt? Misshapen accident? That could have been anything in his field. “Is he alright? How badly is he injured? Who or what did this to him?”
“He’s fine now. The boy bounces back faster than my whiskers can grow,” he reassured her. “I gave him the chewing out of a lifetime for sure. I’d made sure for him to know he isn’t allowed to be so reckless.”
‘He’s moving around the question. Who did this to him?’ Guinevere grumbled inwardly. 'And why is he so hesitant to tell me?'
The sound of a tea kettle whistling broke her thoughts on how to best approach the situation now as she mentally took the tea off the stove and poured some in the respective cups. She couldn’t be hasty with this, he’d find out about her intentions that way.
Besides, she had more important questions to ask him than know about her brother, as troubling as that news was - she kept that as something of note though, just in case it were to come back up in something else.
Now, how to get him on the subject of Deire...?
“Now, how about you, Guin?” Silver asked her, dumping a couple of sugar cubes into his teacup. “Working with Larzen must be a tasking chore on your style."
"Nah, old man, it's chill," Guin answered casually, taking a bite of one of the cookies she made for herself. "Don't you know? I get to kick ass and get a nice fat bonus at the end of the month for doing it. It's a sweet gig."
"If "fat bonus" equates to stuffing your face with food, then Larzen is doing a great job." The engineer rolled his eyes this time, sipping his tea. "I don't understand why you do this to yourself.”
“You’re telling me you wouldn’t want to try solid foods for once in your life instead of that stupid paste?”
Silver gave her a deadpan expression. “At my age, I would die doing that.”
“It’s not that bad, honest!”
“The day I heard you had to get detoxed, I thought I was going to have a heart attack, thinking you got hurt on the job. Turned out you got hurt eating those blasted Appleberries again. Two dozen of them. The doctors were shocked that you even survived. The amount of poisoning would have killed a normal Arkan."
“Well, clearly I’m no normal Arkan. And hey, those Appleberries are awesome! There's no paste varient of it. And even if there were, I wouldn't want it anyway. Nothing beats eating the real thing." Guin pointed to her scar, smirking. "Besides, I've had harder fights with Ix . Berries won't kill me so easily."
Silver blinked. "Ix attacked you?" he asked quietly as he ignored everything else she said before that, tail swishing feverishly on the floor, not unlike an upset cat - anxiety, fear. Subtle signs Guin picked up over the years.
“Larzen didn’t tell you?” Guin questioned with equal surprise - maybe the Boss hadn’t wanted the engineer to worry over her. She hoped she hadn’t given away classified info. “I got this returning from a mission, and accidentally entered Ix territory. They scrambled my radar and nearly took me down.”
“Egad!” Silver exclaimed. “Scrambling radar? How did you escape?”
“Quick wits. And PK Fire.” Guin blew a puff of flame from her mouth. “Never making that mistake again.”
“You better not, young lady,” Silver chastised. “Those fiends are nothing but death on wings. If they’re scrambling radars now...”
His tail stopped moving, and he stood up from his seat. “I best make haste. I got work to do.”
“Wait, old man, what are you- where are you going?” Guin inquired, making to follow him - she still had questions, for the love of-!
“Back to my lab. I have a project to attend to... one that will hopefully put an end to all attacks from the Ix like yours.” His response was curt, the true engineer in him coming out.
He paused, and then added, “And before you go on anymore undercover investigations, learn how to be more subtle in your approach. A blind man can see right through your guise.”
Before Guin could even register what he had said, he had teleported away.

How Rabbids can be both an Assist Trophy and a Newcomer.
While a Regular Rabbid can fight as a newcomer the Assist Trophy would instead be a washing machine which I'd like to call
THE RABBID DISPENSER
Tumblr media
The story of this washing machine goes like this. After The Rabbids came across the World of Smash Bros the soon discovered a Smash Ball in which they attempted to take with them. It was then that The Smash Ball fused with the Time Traveling Washing Machine and sucked up a few rabbids holding various objects belonging to some fighters. Thus it soon became the dispenser Fighters use as an assist trophy.
How the Rabbid Dispenser works is that when summoned it will dispense a random rabbid varient of a fighter to help out who ever summoned it. However sometime the Rabbid dispensed will also affect the one who summoned it as well. Some can be knocked out while others cannot
The dispenser dispences 8 random rabbid varients that I separated from 4 different classes:
- Support Varients
- Distract Varients
- Attack Varients
- Danger Varients
Let's start off with the Support Varients:
Support Varients Support the player that summoned it by any means possible.
Tumblr media
Rabbid Isabelle: If dispensed then she'll help out who ever summoned her by giving him/her a random stat boost such as strength, speed, or defense. No players will be able to be knocked off by enemy players
Tumblr media
Rabbid Game and Watch: If dispensed than he'll run to the one who summoned him and give him a random healing item. Enemy players can be able to hit him and make him drop the healing item and use it for themselves.
Next up is The Distract Varients
Distract Varients work to distract all players from fighting each other.
Tumblr media
Rabbid Pacman: If dispensed than he'll walk around until he finds any kind of item and will just about eat it including a Smash Ball. He can get hit by any player in order to make him spit out the last item he ate.
Tumblr media
Rabbid Dedede: If Dispensed then he'll start bawling like a baby so loud that it will give all smashers a negative effect such as low speed, low strength, or low defense. No players will be able to knock him off.
Here come the Attack Varients:
Attack Varients will either attack the the enemy players besides the one who summoned it or all players will be attacked.
Tumblr media
Rabbid Megaman: If dispensed then Rabbid Megaman will try and fire his blaster but will lose control of his random abilities, he then uncontrollably fires a barrage of random abilites (Example. Metal Blades, Leaf Sheilds, Crash Bombs, etc.) All players take damage if they get close to Rabbid Megaman. No player is able to attack him.
Tumblr media
Rabbid Mac: If dispensed then he'll attack the summoners enemies by pulling a barrage of punched when he gets close to the enemy player, which might wind up sending the enemy player flying. Enemy players are able to knock him out
Last but not least the Danger Varients:
Unbeatable and able to send you flying no matter if you summoned it or not.
Tumblr media
Rabbid Smake: If dispensed then he'll just walk to the nearest player in his box until he comes in contact with him then he'll jump you in his box which then blows up and sends you and any other players around him flying.
Tumblr media
Berserker Rabbid: If dispensed then he'll just wander around until he disappears, but be careful not to hit him otherwise he'll turn into an unstoppable smashing machine which will send you flying with just one hit. He'll disappear after a period of time has passed
That's all of them the rest I see as possible echo fighter (Such as Rabbid Inkling, Rabbid Ridley, Rabbid Geno, and Spawny)

Ummm yeah sort of but it’d be the other way around with geno yelling at error lol. Because Error is the more unhinged version of geno because of the anti void- in this case error would keep his memories of being geno.
or like in the head cannon where Nightmare has two personalities his uncorrupted one and his corruption one.
or or a varient of Geno brooding and  Error sees so much of his old self in him that he goes and gets geno to stop being a shit and listen to sans.
Geno and Error are sorta the same right?
Cuz now I'm imagining Geno sadly brooding in a corner while Error yells at him to get a grip lol
