I know you are done with shippers, but, I'm really curious about your opinion on this... Misha is not the only one using neutral terms when talking about past relationships. Jensen did it too, twice. One was an interview where he said he had past relationships "with other people". But the most telling one was at VegasCon 2016 (youtube(.)com/watch?v=zNikNGeqwOI) when Jared and Jensen were asked how they knew their current wives were the ones to share the rest of their life with. (1/4)
Jared only talks about Gen, but Jensen shares a long, kind of weird, and carefully worded speech where it seems he's talking about 2 different people, and only uses non gendered terms. He didn't even mention Danneel's name. Obviously, he's talking about her, but he's ambiguous enough to look like he's talking about both her and another unknown person. You may argue that's only on shippers' minds and they make things up (2/4) and you are probably right. And yet, why did Jensen choose to be so ambiguous with that answer? Supposedly, he's done with shippers and sick of speculation about his sexuality, but then why did he deliver an answer which actually fuels shippers theories? And it's not the first time Jensen says or post something so ambiguous that it's open to interpretation (i.e. the so-called by shippers "10th anniversary selfies" or the "chest to chest selfies") (3/4) I'm sorry, I hope my question doesn't make you too uncomfortable. You may guess I'm a shipper so of course you take what I say with a pinch of salt because I'm obviously biased. But what I want to say is: in my opinion, it's Jensen ocassional weird behaviour what makes me rise my eyebrows, and not Misha's. I know he could be intentionally ambiguous in order to draw attention and queerbaiting destiel fans. But what are Jensen's reasons?(4/4)
Hello! I'm not "done" with shippers, I don't mind some of them, but the ones who go way off into other realities and who harass the actors/wives are the ones I don't like.
First of all, Jared was STRUGGLING with that answer. I had to skip through it. But onto your question!
So after watching the video, I don't think he was purposely being ambiguous. The question was about how they knew that their current wives were the one for them, so I don't think he felt the need to say her name repeatedly because everyone knows he's married to Danneel and he probably figured he didn't have to reiterate it. He wasn't talking about two different people, he was explaining that there are two types of people when they enter relationships and he sort of fell in the middle of the two types when he entered his relationship with Danneel. I also wouldn't dock him too much for not using terms like "wife" or using female pronouns because it depends on how you were raised or what you're used to. I know plenty of people who refer to their husband or wife as their partner. It's just how they say things which doesn't mean they're trying to be secretive or dishonest, it's just how they talk. I don't think he was fueling shippers theories at all, I think people just misunderstood his answer. I knew what he was talking about right away, but I also went in with no bias and I wasn't looking for hidden meanings or hints. So no, I don't think he was being purposely ambiguous or sneaky, I think it's just shippers misunderstanding him.
As for the selfies and things he posts, I don't see him being ambiguous or "baiting" anyone. But I'm not sure which selfies you're referring to?
You didn't make me uncomfortable, and hopefully I'm clear with my answers. I don't think Jensen baits anyone or is intentionally ambiguous like Misha is. I think shippers tend to see things in a different scope and so they'll read into things that aren't there. If I shipped Misha and Jensen, of course I'd see things that weren't really there, but since I don't, I'm able to see that they're just friends who work together from time to time.
I kind of liken it to people in my real life. If there were people shipping me, they'd probably find a lot of "deep" meaning in everything I did, but it's not that serious and doesn't mean anything. When you're looking with a bias, you see things much differently.

Pokémon USM is the new BW2
This is obviously low-hanging fruit as theories and observations go, but I wanna dive into it a bit. It’s a bit of a ramble as I mostly just wanna siphon these thoughts out of my head and let my hype begin to percolate, but I figured I’d share it.
"These games offer an alternate story taking place in the world of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon..."
Seems like people are getting hung up on “alternate story,” but I’m convinced that they’re sequels. I don’t know Japanese so I can’t be sure what Masuda actually said, but I’m gonna chalk it up to a translation thing. It’s another story in the same world. If it’s just gonna be a Yellow/Crystal/Emerald/Platinum style rehash, then why make two games? Why not just make one and call it Eclipse or Stars? I’m sticking to “sequel” until or unless I’m proven wrong by Game Freak. (Seriously, if it’s just a “third game” with two versions I’m gonna be majorly disappointed.)
The e-mail from the Pokémon company literally says “new additions to the story...” though I suppose that could be interpreted multiple ways.
So we’ve got the house here, looking like your character’s house in Sun and Moon. They cut the footage together to look like the USM trainer lives here, but I suspect that’s a fake out. Look at all the flowers and plants around the doorway. If this were a rehash and you’d just moved here from Kanto, why would it have all that? I think you can visit this house, just like you could visit the BW player character’s mom in BW2.
The trainer introduction shot, with hat and bag. It looks like the first Sun and Moon at a glance, but the Pikachu doll is now a picture of a Rockruff and it’s signed by someone. This wall is not the same color as your house in Sun and Moon.
Neither is this wall. (Also the Wii U has been replaced with a Switch.)
The character’s look same-y, but the male barely looked different from Calem in the first one. I’m assuming these are supposed to be new characters, but we’ll see. Maybe it could be the same character, but this time going for gyms instead of the Island Challenge, though that seems like it would be an odd choice. I’m kind of stuck on BW2 a bit, but I’m hoping for something similar to the “Memory Link” from those games.
The flowers stand out here, of course. Like maybe they’ve had a couple of years to grow. It might also be a different season. Spring as opposed to summer or something. Then there’s some kind of structure up on the hill.
This looks to be the road to Iki Town, complete with the PMC on the left, but Iki town wasn’t quite that developed before. Again, time has passed. It’s not just a rehash.
Sun and Moon has so many of these empty areas with girders and construction equipment just sitting there. Once could just be interpreted as a little flavor thing in a town, but these are in almost every town in Alola. X and Y had its fair share of loose threads, but Sun and Moon was definitely setting up for a revisit. We probably won’t see something like Gold and Silver, where we go to the previous region after completing the new one, until we’re on a console with a little more power, but the BW2 approach seems very appropriate.
The story of Sun and Moon leaves plenty of room for new material as well. Did Lusamine get well in Kanto? How’s Lilly doing as a trainer? Is Kanto really not so far away? What did Gladion and company make of Aether Paradise? How’s the new Pokémon League doing?
The fact that these are sequels seems really obvious to me, but this news reminds me of BW2 in some other very specific ways.
Gen 5 was the second generation in a row to be released on the DS. BW2 came out on the DS, even though the next system had been released, amid speculation that Pokémon would be getting a 3DS title.
This Z-ring is literally black and white.
Do I even need to elaborate about Legendary Pokémon fusing, gene splicers, and the Colress cameo? This is actually straight out of BW2. (And it’s been pointed out before, but Colress would look right at home among the Aether foundation.)
This also sets us up for establishing patterns with the remakes. I’ve been saying since ORAS that we won’t get Gen 4 remakes on the 3DS. It’s always two systems later. Gen 1 wasn’t remade for Game Boy Color, it was on the GBA. Gen 2 wasn’t remade for GBA, it was on the DS. Gen 3 wasn’t remade for DS, it was on the 3DS. With backwards compatibility, you can literally play the original Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum on the same machine as Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. It’s too soon for the Gen 4 remakes. Those will be on the Switch after the first Gen 8 games. We got HGSS, then BW2, then ORAS, and now USM. I do believe that pattern will hold up, with no “third game” or sequel in Gen 8, focusing that development time instead on the Gen 4 remakes. It’s early for this, but I’m predicting Gen 8 on the Switch in Spring 2019 and then the Gen 4 remakes 12-18 months later.
I’m curious about what these sequels could bring. The return of gyms seems like an easy thing to hope for, and I’d love to see them, although it also seems like there may be Totem Pokémon again. I find it hard to imagine other reasons to give such prominent cutscenes to Mimikyu, Lycanroc, and Togedamaru. I also find myself wondering if it’s a coincidence that Masuda introduced these games without Ohmori present. Maybe Sun and Moon were Ohmori’s, with the new deviations from the formula, and USM will be Masuda’s, with more of the familiar elements. That’s just wild conjecture at this point though.
With E3 and CoroCoro right around the corner, we’ll probably be getting some more information soon. I doubt that the storyline and difficulty curve will ever match Gen 5 in a way that suits my tastes, but if it truly pans out (as I suspect it will) that these are sequel games along the lines of BW2, I will be very excited.
It feels nice to be able to look forward to these new games, especially after my hype for the original Sun and Moon literally died inside of me all at once ten days before the games were released. That’s another tangent though.
And while I’ve got you here, please if you haven’t already, join the ongoing Sun and Moon global mission and do a little fishing. Literally a free 2,000 FC just for joining and even more rewards if you set up a Global Link account and Game Sync. We’re on pace to reach the Lure Ball stretch goal before it ends, but I’d like to see it reached sooner so I don’t feel like I need to devote all of my free time to fishing. I recommend the Steelix residence on Poni Island. You can reset the bubbles easily and you can stockpile Bottle Caps as you go.
