SOMETIMES, Simone thinks her biggest flaw is her inability to think without her heart. It’s caused her trouble in the past; not just in a romantic aspect but with school and her relationships with her friends. But none of them had the same severity as this instance.
She was so desperate to have Lando back in her life that she foolishly talked him into making his relationship official with Eva. Of course she didn’t think that he would actually do it—she assumed, like all the other girls prior, that Eva was a sneaky link—a girl who he would disregard after a few days before moving onto the next one in his salacious rotation.
But when she saw them together and how Eva looked at Lando, she knew that it wasn’t just sex between them. Eva’s feelings had developed into something more real which Simone couldn’t fault her for because she herself had fallen victim to Lando’s charm and attractive personality. It was undeniably palpable; so strong that Simone knew that it wasn’t a crush.
Eva had fallen fast and hard for Lando.
And being the drunk fool that she is in her desperation of trying to reconcile and repair her friendship with him, she suggested that Lando make things official with her. Because at that moment (in her drunk addled mind) it seemed like the thing a friend would do. She didn’t think it’d easily become one of the worst mistakes in advice giving that she’s ever made.
Why did she think that her and Lando could be friends; given their history and the residual feelings that she had for him? Was it masochism? Did she have some sort of penchant for embarrassing herself and being unfurled into these kind of situations?
Even so, given all that’s transpired between them they have managed to reconcile. It’s been something that Simone’s cherished recently; having this sacred, important relationship with Lando especially in her time of need. It seemed as if they’ve grown closer than they’ve ever been before—she’s noticed the similarities between them; how reluctant they both are at being vulnerable with anyone else except each other, how they share the same humor, how connected they really are.
For the past few months, Simone’s felt disconnected with her own body. All she saw when she looked at herself in the mirror was a body deteriorating within itself, shriveling, discolored and unfamiliar. Her body dysmorphia became so bad that eventually she stopped looking at herself all together; too ashamed and disappointed at how she looked.
But an afternoon with Lando slowly helped her reclaim that confidence that’s been absent. His refusal in allowing her to be ashamed of her body gave her the courage to do something she was so afraid of doing.
“You’re beautiful,” He whispered softly as they stared at the photos he’d so candidly taken of her. She was apprehensive of doing the photoshoot at first—the idea of someone with a withering body like hers being the object of someone’s interest and affection seemed absurd to Simone. But one look at the photos gave Simone insight; about how he perceives her and how she should see herself.
And, if he’d said this to her a few hours ago, she would’ve scoffed in disbelief at his compliment and would’ve accused him of pitying her. But now, as she’s staring at herself on the screen as he clicked through the photos, Simone actually does feel beautiful again. And she has Lando to thank for that.
She’s at home, sprawled out on her bed reading a book when a knock on the door retracts her attention away. She bookmarks the current page that she’s on and absentmindedly set the book aside before clambering to her feet and walking towards the front door.
Unlatching the locks, she pulls the door open and is a bit aghast to see Lando standing athwart from her. He’s smiling, soft and boyish, like he always does (and as always it causes a flutter in her stomach.) she reciprocates the smile, though her expression is a bit confused as she wondered the reason behind his visit.
He seemingly answers her question when he holds up a bag of takeout food, “I ran into Thea in the quad. She said you had a pretty intense practice today and I figured a good way to end a day like that is with some egg rolls and Lo Mein,” He says, and it’s things like this, these mundane yet meaningful gestures that he does for her that has her falling even more for him.
She likes that with Lando she never had to ask. He always acts on instinctive impulse, always thinking of her without any hesitation. His consideration for others was an idiosyncrasy of his that she adored the most.
Simone’s stomach keens at the delicious aroma. Lando chuckles softly, “Gonna take that as a yes!”
She closes and locks the door behind him once he enters inside. She follows him as he saunters through the front entrance to the kitchen where he begins taking out the carton of food. “You didn’t have to do this, you know.” Simone says, though greatly appreciative nonetheless.
“Have you eaten anything today?” Lando questions, raising a brow at her.
“No.” She answers, shaking her head.
“Then, yeah, I did have to.” He sets the cartons of food onto the counter before maneuvering around the kitchen, grabbing two plates for them. “You know, it’s not healthy to go the full day without eating, especially with those intense practices that you guys do,” He laments, frowning a bit at her as he stood with his hands perched akimbo.
“I know,” She nods in agreement. “But, I lost track of time. Coach just started letting me practice how I used to and I wanted to be perfect.”
“Should you be doing that? You just got better again.”
Simone smiled as she gave him a knowing look. “Yes, I know. But I was cleared by the doctor so you don’t have to worry,” After weeks of recovery, her body had finally healed itself enough for her to return to playing.
The journey wasn’t easy in the least and for a moment, she didn’t think that it was possible for her to get to this point ever again, but she was fully recovered—back on the tennis court where she belonged, instead of shriveling away in her bed like she’s been doing.
“It’s hard not to worry when it comes to you.” He says softly, causing her stomach to flutter again. Just as those feelings emerge, she quickly dismisses them, knowing that his was concern that was solely amicable just like Nate and Keisha’s—that the look he was giving her didn’t actually mean anything.
It didn’t.
Because it couldn’t.
He has a girlfriend; one that she knows he cares about. One that she told him to go after. And he’d done it. Quickly. Without any hesitation.
(Fuck.)
Simone swallows down the thickness of emotions that bared in her throat and placated a small smile, “Thanks, but I’m okay. Really.” She gestures towards the food as she approached him. “Did you get—”
“Chicken stir fry,” Lando finishes, pulling the small carton from the bag. “Did you think I would forget?”
Simone grabs a fork from the cabinet drawer and grabs ahold of the chicken stir fry, scooping up a large portion onto her utensil before shoveling it inside of her mouth.
“You know me so well.”
She takes her perch on top of the counter, swinging her legs in an oscillating motion as she continued to gorge on the delicious rice. Lando stood athwart from her with his body leaned against the counter, while he consumed the quart container of Lo Mein.
“So… Valentine’s Day is coming up…” She couldn’t stomach hearing what romantic evening Lando has planned for him and Eva, but she really did mean it when she said that she wanted them to be friends again. And part of that meant asking about his relationship even if it meant breaking her own heart as a result of it.
Lando looked up at her with raised brows. “So?”
Simone rolls her eyes, giving him another knowing look. “So, what do you have planned! It’s your first Valentine’s Day with Eva as a couple. These things are important to us women. It has to be meaningful and spontaneous,” Part of her just wants to know because it’s easier than not knowing.
Lando prodded absentmindedly at his soy sauce lathered noodles, shaking his head. “Uh, nothing. I don’t have anything planned.”
She was taken aback to hear this. And for a brief moment, her curiosity does get the best of her and she’s so close to asking him why, the underlying retort of if they broke up sits on the edge of her tongue. But she relents, allowing him to maintain his privacy.
“Oh!”
Lando shrugged, “But I don’t know. My plans might change.”
Oh.
“What about you?”
She gives him a bewildered look. “And who would I possibly have to spend Valentine’s Day with? I’m not seeing anyone,”
Lando turns around halfway to set the carton down onto the counter before shrugging. He folds his arms across his chest, “What about that guy…who is he again? The DJ from your party,” He recollects knowingly and Simone feels her face flush in chagrin at his exposure.
“Who…how did you even know…” He was someone that satiated her needs at the time. She was out of control; acting impulsively, doing anything she could to relinquish that control. But then her aunt helped her come to a much needed realization that resulted in her abruptly ending their hookup.
Lando didn’t respond to her question, only blinked at her and shrugged as he waited for her to answer his question first.
“No, I don’t have anything planned with anyone. I’ll be single and alone like I have been.”
And for a brief moment, Simone allows herself to foolishly believe that Lando actually looked relieved when she told him that.
-
“You like Lando,” Simone’s eyes hastily avert away from Eva and Lando who were perched at the table a few feet away from theirs, leaned against each other with Eva smiling at whatever Lando was whispering in her ear. She looks at Thea, hoping that her expression was indiscernible enough to not give herself away. “You should tell him.” She avers, seemingly looking through Simone’s facade.
She shakes her head in opposition, briefly looking in their direction again. “I can’t.”
“Why?”
Simone exasperates a deep sigh, “Because I broke his heart. I chose Damon, which was a huge mistake to begin with, and he moved on with Eva and he’s happy. I mean look at them, I can’t ruin their relationship just because I’m feeling the regret of my decision. It wouldn’t be right or fair to either of them.”
Damon had been someone she liked at one point. She thinks their bond was more of platonic aspect than anything romantic. Because they didn’t have the same kind of friendship or relationship that she and Lando shared. They didn’t have those deep conversations and didn’t truly know each like she knows Lando and vice versa.
Part of her thinks she chose Damon because he was the safe choice. He’d been there from the beginning and it felt right (in that moment.) But she didn’t realize that that feeling was solely because of their friendship.
She didn’t feel her heart breaking at the sight of Damon and Thea when they were together like it is watching Lando and Eva; she knows she’s lost the best thing that could ever happen to her. But it was far too late to cry over spilled milk especially when Lando’s moved on.
“Okay, but, you of all people know that life is too short to let anything or anyone slip away.”
“Thea—”
“Simone,” She interjects with a heavy sigh. “You’re right. Maybe he is happy with her. But I’ve also seen how he looks at you. So if you think that he’s completely moved on from you then you’re wrong.”
Simone heeds Thea’s words in contemplation. “What do you mean how he looks at me?”
At Simone’s obliviousness, Thea rolls her eyes. “Don’t tell me you haven’t noticed it. Girl, he looks at you like he’s still in love with you!”
Could there be a possibility that she’s right? She did notice a certain way Lando stares at her, but she simply deduced that as him being friendly. The thought of him still being in love with her after what she did seemed ridiculous and highly unlikely. Because how he looks at Eva was something so visceral that it made Simone jealous.
“He doesn’t.” Simone insists, shaking her head as she allowed her eyes to wander over towards their table again. “I know that he doesn’t.”
It’s a few weeks later that she rings the bell after receiving news of being in full remission and her body recovering successfully after months of her sickness. Everyone’s there with her to commemorate the day; each of their faces spread with joy as they stood behind her and watched her filled Simone with unbridled mirth.
They all bombard her with hugs, expressing and extending their support for her and congratulating her on this successful milestone. It’s when she’s pulling away from Nate, that her eyes meets Lando’s and her heart lurches in adoration. When his arms wrap around her, she melts into the embrace—feeling the comfort of being held by him.
“I’m so proud of you,” He whispers in her ear, turning his head to imprint a soft kiss against her cheek.
He holds her tightly, like he’s savoring in the feeling of holding her. And Simone makes no efforts in retracting from the embrace, only indulges further into it when he pulls her tighter against him and tucks his face in between her neck and shoulder.
The only reason that they pull apart is because of the sound of someone harrumphing behind them. Simone’s eyes wander to the person standing behind them and she notices that it’s Damon.
She’s aghast.
After he left to go play ball in the Dominican Republic, their relationship completely halted. Their communication became delayed as each day progressed until one day, it ceased all together. Part of her felt guilty for not staying in contact with him as promised, but given everything that’s happened recently she knows he’d give her some leniency.
Though his visitation was unexpected, she was happy that she had all her friends here. Even him. Withdrawing her arms from around Lando, she turns to fully meet Damon’s gaze. It’s only been a few months since she’s last seen him but there were a few noticeable distinctions that she immediately see—like his grown out goatee and bulk of muscles.
His face softens as he looks at her; a smile adorns expression—crinkling in his eyes and stretching across his lips. “Simone,”
She returns the genial smile of affection, happy to see her friend after such a long time. “Damon,” She doesn’t know why he’s here or how he even knew where they’d be today, (part of her suspects it’s J.R’.s doing.) but nonetheless she’s happy.
There’s a silence that hovers over them and when she sees Damon’s eyes linger down to Lando’s hand that was rested against the small of her back, she flushes softly.
While everyone greets Damon upon his return, Lando’s hand removes itself from its perch. “I should get going,” He says, stuffing his hands in the front of his pockets as he gave her a small smile. “Eva…”
Her heart drops at the mention of Eva’s name.
It’d been a while since he last mentioned her and she foolishly thought that maybe they’d broken up. Much to her unfortunate dismay, it seems like their relationship was still fully intact.
She swallows down the thickness of her disappointment and placates a halfhearted smile as she nodded her head. “Right. Uh, thanks for coming.”
He shakes his head, waving her off dismissively. “Don’t thank me. I wouldn’t have missed today for anything.” She knows this; because while everyone has been there in support of her, Lando’s support has been beyond. His mouth parts like he wants to say something else, but after a moment’s contemplation he eventually decides against it and sighs. “I’ll see you later?”
She doesn’t want him to leave.
But he wasn’t hers to keep around.
“Yeah.”
He gives her another smile and brushes a hand against her arm before eventually making his way in the opposite direction towards the elevators.
It’s after they leave the hospital that she and Damon have a moment alone. They find themselves in the seclusion of her bedroom, while everyone else was in the kitchen enjoying the food that Nate prepared for her welcome home party. She’s sat on the bed; watching him as he looked around her bedroom.
“Nothing’s changed around here,” Damon acknowledges.
Simone nodded, “Yeah. Everything’s pretty much the same.”
“Everything except you,” He recalls, pausing as he turned around to look at her. He slides his hands in the pockets of his jeans, giving her an indescribable look that she can’t quite gauge.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” She questions, watching as he shrugged his shoulders and leaned against her dresser.
“You and Lando.” He says after a brief moment. Simone’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion; wondering what he was insinuating. At her look of perplexity, he elaborates. “Last time that I was here, you two weren’t talking. When I get back you guys are close again like you were last year.”
And he’s not exactly wrong.
The repercussions of her decision had greatly tainted their friendship, but with her wanting that reconciliation and him in her life again, she refused to let his anger prevent them from being friends again.
“You two…?” He trails off airily in question but she knows what he’s inquiring.
“No,” She immediately responds, shaking her head. Though she really wishes that they were. “We’re just friends. Besides he already has a girlfriend,” Damon nods but given his expression she can tell he’s a bit disbelieving of her assurance.
“Right.”
“Did you come all the way from the DR to ask about me and Lando or did you come to be here for moral support as a friend?” She jests, playfully rolling her eyes at his suspicion.
Damon raises his hands in the air in defense, “I’m just asking, you know…making conversation.”
“Well, there’s no conversation there. We’re friends and nothing more.” She avers, in which Damon nods his head again. He pushes himself off of the dresser so that he’s able to walk over towards her bed. He sits down beside her, mattress dips a bit beneath their conjoined weight.
“But you want there to be.”
Simone guffaws, shaking her head incredulously at Damon’s persistence. She’s surprised by his vocation in wanting her to admit her feelings for Lando. She thought his disliking for Lando would’ve had him wanting to talk about anything but him and their relationship friendship.
“Alright when did you become team Lando?” She asks, seemingly avoiding answering his question.
Damon chuckles as he shrugged, lowering his eyes. “When I realized that there wasn’t a chance for us to be together again. Even when we were together I could tell that I wasn’t really who you wanted to be with. It fucking hurt, but I realized that life was too short to be mad at you especially after everything you’ve been through. I still care and love you, Simone but you love him and I have to accept that and move on,” He confesses somberly.
Simone sits there considering his spiel. It did surprise her hearing Damon admit that he still had feelings for her and more importantly, that he knew that she had feelings for Lando when they were dating, because at the time, she didn’t fully realize it herself. She simply reduced it to her feeling guilty for breaking his heart not realizing that she broke hers too for not giving in to the happiness that she desperately wanted.
It’s the same thing that she’s doing now; putting someone else’s feelings above hers because she’s scared of heartbreak. It was easier said than done though, because now he’s the one that’s in a relationship and it’s different because she can tell that he really does like Eva.
It’s too late.
He’s happy and she wouldn’t do anything to interfere with that.
“Maybe, but it doesn’t matter.” She shrugs, giving him a small smile. “Anyway, enough about me and my nonexistent love life. Tell me what’s it been like playing ball in the DR!” She says, seemingly diverting the topic of conversation.
She and Damon join everyone at the party again after they finish catching up. When she walks out, she sees that everyone’s gathered around the living room couch; drinking and conversing. Grabbing herself a red solo cup, she fills it with juice and accompanied her friends in their perch, squeezing herself on the couch beside Nate.
“The lady of the hour finally returns,” Nate proclaims, wrapping her arm around Simone’s shoulder as she pulled her in a side hug.
Thea takes a sip of her drink before informing her, “Just in time too. We got a bit bored and decided to play Truth or Dare,” there’s a knowing impishness stretched across her face as she says this and when Thea’s eyes wander over to Lando, a realization of what’s about to happen immediately dawns upon her.
“Yeah, it was just my turn so now I’m choosing you, Simone. Truth or Dare?”
Simone shakes her head, “I don’t want to play,” She murmurs, choosing not to indulge in Thea’s scheme. But Thea’s persistence wouldn’t allow her to so easily opt out of the game.
“Just one time and then you can quit!”
Simone’s eyes purposefully avoided Lando’s in caution, but it didn’t matter when she could feel the smothering intensity of his gaze focused solely on her. “Fine!” It wasn’t a set up, because regardless of what she chooses, she knows Thea will manipulate it in a way that revolves around her and Lando.
Since this whole reconciliation of their friendship happened, all of her friends have been trying to get her and Lando to admit their feelings for each other. But she wasn’t sure there was anything for him to admit because he has a girlfriend who he seems to really like. So this ploy seemed redundant to Simone but she simply agreed so everyone could finally move on past her and Lando.
“Dare.”
It was safer than picking truth, she ruminates, knowing that the worst she could possibly do was tell her to kiss Lando. They could disregard the kiss as something on insouciance and move past it. But if she picked truth then she knows Thea would’ve asked her to be truthful about her feelings for Lando and that wasn’t something she could move past if she confessed it.
And gauging from Thea’s expression, she can tell that she immediately put together Simone’s scheme of avoidance. What Simone didn’t know was that Thea was formulating another one of her own.
“Okay…” She nods, smirking as she pointed between her and Lando. “I dare you two to go in your bedroom together and talk about how you really feel.”
Everyone’s eyes watched her and Lando.
Simone swallows down the remainder of her drink before nodding. “Okay,” She felt nervous as she stood to her feet and squeezed past her friends on the couch as she made her way towards her bedroom.
(Leave it to Thea to have an alternate way to get her and Lando alone.)
She could feel Lando walking in tow behind her and when she grabs ahold of her knob to push it open, she feels the warmth radiating from his body as he stood behind her. She hastily goes to sit down when she feels her knees buckle beneath her.
Lando closes the door behind them.
He remains standing, walking around the room while Simone sat down on the bed looking at him.
“So…” She begins, shrugging her shoulders as she sat there contemplating on how they should approach this dare. She knew what Thea was referring to when she told them to “tell each other how they really felt,” but she wasn’t exactly certain how much Lando deduced from that.
“So,” He mimicked, pausing mid gait to turn around and look at her.
Thea’s proclamation of he ‘looks at you like he’s still in love with you!’ wanders around her mind as they sat there holding each other’s gazes. Her stomach flutters and her heart lurches at the attention that he gives her. Had Thea actually been right?
No way.
“We don’t have to—”
“—What did you want to—”
They both pause once they realized they were talking over each other. Lando smiles softly as he gestured for her to speak first.
“Oh. I was just asking what did you do want to talk about.
“Well, I believe your dare was to come in here alone with me so we could confess how we really feel,” He recites in a teasing tone, that admittedly makes her a bit sad at how he’s disregarding the situation.
“Right. Well…” She shrugs, uncertain and confused. “We don’t have to do anything except sit here and wait a bit to make it seem like we talked. I’m sure you’re waiting for the party to be over so you can go back with Eva anyway,” She doesn’t intend for it to come out as callus and accusatory like it does, but she was upset at Lando (and the situation) which she knows isn’t rational or fair but she can’t help how she feels.
And at the lilt in her tone, Lando’s expression sobers. She shouldn’t have mentioned Eva or their relationship but as she said before all sense of rationality has long dissipated.
“What’s that supposed to mean? Simone, I’m here because I want to be. Because I’m your friend. Why are you making it seem like I’m here out of obligation? And why are you mentioning Eva?” He questioned, his tone now holds one of accusation in defense of her earlier claims.
Simone’s cheeks flush in chagrin. She swallows the thickness of her emotions, lowering her eyes. “Nothing. Just forget I said anything, okay?” She sighs, shaking her head as she stands to her feet. “Let’s just forget the stupid dare and go back out there—” She began reaching for the door, but Lando stood in front of it intercepting her path.
“No, I want to know why you mentioned Eva.”
And okay, she can’t really be mad that he’s standing up in defense of his girlfriend but she is. “I told you to forget it”
“Because I didn’t say anything when you and Damon were in here for half an hour doing who knows what!” She recoils at this, surprised by the anger and jealousy bridled in his tone.
“We didn’t do anything but talk.”
“Right.” Lando rebuttals in disbelief.
“We’re friends,” She clarifies in which he nods sarcastically at her approach. Now she’s the one that’s mad because what gave him the right to come at her like this? “And why do you even care? You have a girlfriend, remember? You wanted to be with her so worry about what she has going on instead—”
“I only did it because you told me to!” He confesses, causing her to pause in her rebuttal. Lando’s face blanched at his admittance, his finger rubs over his brow as he sighs.
“What?” She murmurs, still bewildered.
“I did like Eva—I do like her,” He falters momentarily, wearily rubbing a hand against his face. “But she’s not you. I got with her and all those other girls to try to fix what you broke. But nothing worked no matter how hard I tried. All I could think about was you. Eva’s nice and I liked spending time with her but my mind and heart was always on someone else. I knew it wasn’t fair to drag her along like that so I broke it off a few weeks ago.”
Simone was surprised to hear this. She didn’t expect him to tell her that they’d broken up and that he still had feelings for her. She was under the foolish assumption that he’d moved on from her and had replaced his feelings for her with Eva. Every time she’s seen them together they looked so happy, making Simone envious and wishing that she hadn’t ruined the best thing that’s ever happened to her.
“You still—?” She trailed off airily, watching him with a heedful eye.
Lando nods, “I still love you. I never stopped.”
Tears gathered in her pupils upon hearing Lando’s confession. He immediately notices and pushes himself off of the door to console her. “Hey, I didn’t mean to bombard you with all of that. It’s cool if you didn’t feel the same.” He apologizes, but Simone shakes her head and smiles, giving him reassurance.
“It’s okay. I’m just happy because you still feel the same way that I do,”
“You still—? But what about that DJ or Damon?”
She rolls her eyes, chuckling. “Well, there isn’t me and Damon—it hasn’t been for a long time and never will be again. We work better just as friends. And as for the DJ, he was someone to help me try to get over you,”
He looks relieved to hear this, a smile adorns his face as he looks down at her.
“So, we were both trying to use other people to get over each other?”
Simone nods, “Seems like it.”
“And we both never stopped loving each other?”
Simone shakes her head, “Nope,”
Lando’s hands lower to Simone’s waist as he tugged her close to him. He leans his forehead against hers as he breathes her in. “And if I told you that I want to be with you?”
“I’d say yes,”
“And if I were to kiss you—”
“Yes.”
Wrapping her arms around his neck and pressing her body closer to his, she finds her fingers playing with the hairs on the nape of his neck. Wisps of his cool breath tickle against her face as they leaned closer to each other. Their breathing is hitched and heavy as their eyes flutter close.
It’s the faintest brush of lips on lips. The softness of her succulent lip entices Lando, making him moan throatily and he leaned in for more.
Their kisses were languid, gentle. He cradled each of her lips within his, taking in the delight of how soft and sweet her lips were. She breathed slowly in his mouth, breath hitching, heart pounding.
He moves his lips insistently along hers, kissing her with an insatiable vigor, sucking on her wet tongue, tugging at her bottom lip.
His fingers gently ran up and down her spine, coaxing shivers out of Simone. Lando’s lips brushed against hers as he tugged her closer, gripping into the skin of her waist. His teeth catches the plushness of her bottom lip, sinking into the soft flesh. He tugs and sucks on it as his tongue soothes over it in perfection.
Lando’s lips pecked her lips thrice, moving lower, marring soft kisses against her clavicle and below her ear before eventually moving lower to suck and nibble on the exposed flesh of her neck. His puffed breath is hot against her skin, soft and hitched.
“Lando,” She calls out to grab his attention. He pulls his mouth from his ravenous onslaught of her neck and stares curiously at her.
His pliant lips are a crimson, cherry color, plumped and completely kiss-swollen. His eyes are heavy-lidded, a carnal look of lust flickered in them. The sight of him looking so...wanton makes her inwardly whimper in need.
She loved how taut his chest was, how much it gave underneath her touch, despite the muscle. Right now, it was expanding and contracting rapidly, like he had just ran a marathon.
Lando could feel her tugging at the shirts, trying to pull them over his head. He pauses his movements to shuck himself out of his shirt, mindlessly flicking it aside somewhere.
Simone leans forward again, her lips pucker as she meets him halfway for a kiss. Lando closes the distance between them and marred his wet lips against hers, kissing her ravenously.
God, he could kiss her forever. He just loved the way how perfectly their lips fit in tandem
He loved her lips; how soft, pliant they were and how they some how managed to taste of salted caramel. She hums in content at the taste of his sweet mouth moving lazily along hers. Simone scoots closer on his lap, their pelvic bones brushing lightly in the movement. She moved her perched hand on his chest, tentatively moving it downward until she reaches his upper thigh.
Her small hand proceeded its salacious path upward onto his thigh, until it reached its desired destination. She could feel the rigid outline of his hardened erection, curling snugly against his thigh.
Her fingers move past the dark trail of hairs below his navel, until they reached his belt buckle. She deftly slides the belt loose from the confines of the loops before she begins to pop open the button of his pants.
Simone pulled the zipper further down, still heeding tentatively at his reaction. He groans lowly, body avidly shuddering in a desperate need as she shimmies the jeans over his hips. He lifts up slightly, securing the hand he held around Simone’s body, making sure she didn’t fall as he tugged the bunched up jeans off of his body. He kicked them aside somewhere in the forgotten mix along with his shirt.
Simone bit at her lower lip as she appreciatively roved her eyes over his body again; the taut muscles on his chest glistened under the warm hues of the moonlight that poured throughout the room, his physique was lean, not too strawny, not too bulk. His boxers snugged loosely around his hips, revealing the slight dip between the juncture of his lower abdomen and the beginning of his pelvic bone.
He’s panting; loudly, ruggedly in her mouth as they kiss again. Unlike their other soft, feverish kisses, this one is kinda messy and hurried. Their teeth clash a bit.
Simone pecked kisses against his cheek as she nuzzled her nose against his shoulder. She reaches down and pulls at the hem of her own shirt, haphazardly tossing it aside.
He finish ridding her down of the remainder of her clothing; wanting to see her beautiful body completely nude and bare. He watches her, heedily gauging for her reaction as he pops the button open on her denim jeans.
He continued then slowly pulled the zipper down. She lifts her hips off of the bed, aiding him with her assistance as he pulls the tight fabric of her jeans down her prowling legs, he sees the meshed material of her black, lacy thong when she’s free of her jeans. He swallows thickly again, “Wow.” He breathes, because holy fuck, she’s so fucking gorgeous.
His hands are tugging at her underwear, ever so slowly pulling them down. And he ogles intently; staring at her beautiful, glowing body as she laid underneath him. She looks so perfect; sleek. Curvy.
“What?” She asks nervously at his staring. Though her cancer was gone and she thankfully got her body back in its shape, she felt a little self conscious about being naked in front of him like this. She felt as if he could still see the ugliness of her scars.
Lando blinks, shaking his head as he says, “N-Nothing, you’re just—wow.” He breathes like he’s in awe of her. She playfully rolls her eyes but her body begin to visibly relax at his compliment.
He propped up on his elbow, shimmying the last pair of clothing off of his body, leaving him completely naked and in the same estate as Simone. He flushed deeply when he feels her eyes wander downward to his rigid erection that was curled hotly against his thigh.
They kiss again, slow, softly, a mesh of wanton lips pressed against each other’s, their breaths intermingling, tongues grazing and wrestling for dominance. He’s hovering atop of her, his body halfway tobbled on hers. He could feel his throbbing prick seething in a hot arousal as he feels her wanton cunt teasingly grazing against his pelvic bone, her milky slickness sheens against his thigh.
“Simone.”
“Lando.” They moan breathlessly in tandem. She lurches her hips forward, the nonverbal gesture unmistakably lets him know that she’s ready for him to fill her.
“Do you have a condom?” He asks cautiously. He follows her instructions as she directs him to the location: her top drawer, hidden underneath her socks. He pulls out the brand new box and retrieved one of the foiled packages.
He dips his head down, the muscles on his back flex as he slips his tongue and inside her mouth and kissed her tenderly. She reciprocated each of his sensual kisses, fluctuating him with ravenous kisses of her own.
He reaches down, grabbing ahold of his swollen, pulsating cock. He inhaled a deep breath as he lowers his eyes, slowly guiding the tip of his dick towards the apex of her wanton sex. “Ready?” She confirms with a nod.
With that, he ever so slowly pushed himself inside of her, his throat goes heavy, body staggers a bit, arms tremble beneath him, a heavy moan rips through his throat as he delves into her seeping warmth.
They both inhaled a deep breath as he slowly pushed the tip inside of her wet sheath.
Simone winces, her thighs stretching on the precipice of pain as she adjusts to the feeling of him enveloped inside of her. He worries that he hurt her and started to quickly retract himself out of her until, “No, it’s okay. Keep going.”
His jaw is slacked, eyebrows furrowed in concentration as he watched himself prod deeper inside of her, penetrating her and filling her up. His moves his hips, snapping them in place and moving tenderly until he’s nestled comfortably inside of her wanton warmth.
He exhaled deeply through his flared nostrils when he bottomed her out completely, she felt so good, warm, tight around him that it made him whimper. She was more vocal than he was and expressed her content with a pleasurable moan. “Oh, god!” She says, lowly muttering a profanity under her breath. “Please, do something before I combust.”
He understands the desire aching through her because he feels it too, it’s raw almost carnal. Holding a shuddering breath, Lando pushes himself further into her swollen cunt until he’s prodding against her sweet spot. He exhaled a long sigh, a shiver rolls down his spine.
She lifts her legs, tossing them over his waist as she settles him perfectly in between her thighs. Lando shifts his hips a bit, lowering his body as he feels her completely bottoming him out. He waits there, allowing both of them the necessary time to adjust. He leans downward, resting his forehead against hers as he peers up in her soft eyes.
His hips rolls shallowly against hers, their pelvic bones gingerly brush along each other’s as Lando thrusted inside of her.
He could feel himself extracting and entering inside of her; slowly, unhurriedly, the gentle tug of her inner walls pulls him back in for more.
He thrusts inside of her languidly, swiveling his hips and rutting against her pelvic bone as they moved in a feverish, slow grinding, tandem. She lifts her hips in a whine as she meets each of his thrusts. He glides in and out of her dripping hot sheath; slowly, swiftly, in and out, entering and retracting at an unhurried pace.
She feels so damn good around him as she opens her body onto him.
Her dark brown skin is glistened with sweat, her hair is pooled messily around the pillows. The satin bedsheets that were covered around their naked bodies was now strewn onto the floor, forgotten.
Her mind is hazy, eyes flickering with purity and lust as she watches him extract then teasingly reenter inside of her at a tender pace.
He’s beautiful hovering atop of her; eyebrows furrowed in concentration, tongue poking out, pressing lightly this inner cheek, sweat dotting along his forehead, skin flushed.
Lando shifts the angle of his hips, as he crooks a hand underneath her thigh and pulls her even closer. He’s pressed tightly against her and he’s absolutely sure that his body weight is crushing her, but that caring, along with everything else, leaves Simone’s brain. All she could focus on was him, them, together in this moment.
Her fingers sink into his hair, nails scratching against his scalp in a delicious burn as she writhed helplessly beneath him.
“Feel so good,” He murmurs drowsily against her lips. She hums and squeezes her inner thighs together, grabbing ahold of his butt and pushing him deeper, allowing him to thrust even deeper, longer strokes inside of her.
