No queríamos dejaros solos. ―No nos íbamos a morir. ―Tian se metió en el baño sin decir nada más. ―Él tiene razón, no hacía falta que vinierais. ―Mejor prevenir, además quería comprobar que no me faltaba nada. ―Gao tenía la cabeza metida en el armario. ―Yo quería ver si mi chica está bien, no voy a mentir. El señor desapareció un momento y volvió con varios platos, y los colocó en el centro de la mesa y volvió a irse a por más cosas, Tian lo siguió para ayudarle. Al volver, traían una jarra con agua fresca y más comida.

―Comamos. Jiang Tian, estás de mucho mejor humor ahora. ¿Qué ha pasado? ―He vuelto a la clase A. ―Wang sonrió cómplice a Tian que estaba a su lado, comiendo en silencio. ―Enhorabuena muchacho. Cuando terminaron de comer y de ayudar a recoger al abuelo Ding. Se fueron al mercado a por las cosas que necesitaban.

―¿Por qué le has dicho que sí al señor Ding? ―Porque así teníamos una excusa para tener una “cita”. ―¿Cita? ―De repente, Tian estaba interesado en la visita al mercado. ―¿No te gusta la idea? ―Me gusta. Pero no pensé que sería algo que podríamos hacer. ―¿Por qué no? Es algo que solo tu y yo sabríamos. Para la gente seremos dos chicos que van a hacer la compra, pero nosotros sabremos que es algo más. Será nuestro momento.

Tian cogió de la muñeca a Wang y echó a correr, riéndose, queriendo llegar lo antes posible al mercado. Le apetecía tanto pasar el día a solas con Wang, que no se había dado cuenta de que podían hacer las típicas cosas que hacía la gente de su edad cuando eran “algo más”.

En el mercado fueron puesto por puesto, jugando entre ellos, haciéndose pequeñas bromas y aprovechando pequeñas ocasiones, como llevar uno a otro a algún puesto, y poder cogerse de la mano.

―Vale, ¿tenemos todo? ―Tian repasaba la lista. ―Creo que sí. ―Wang levantó sus brazos mostrando las bolsas. ―Pues es hora de volver. Espero que el señor Ding esté satisfecho, por que si no… ―Tian puso una mirada sombría.

Volvieron a la vieja casa del señor Ding, el abuelo no estaba, pero aun así dejaron los víveres en la cocina y guardaron el resto en la despensa.

―Si ya me imaginaba que no iba a estar. ―Tian sonaba exasperado. ―Bueno, por lo menos nos lo hemos pasado bien. ―Wang quería abrazarle fuerte, pero se contuvo, no estaban en lugar seguro ya que el abuelo podría llegar en cualquier momento.

Tian se sentó en el pequeño sofá e hizo un gesto para que Wang se sentara a su lado, y este hizo caso obedientemente.

―He estado pensando algo desde ayer. ―Tian sonrió avergonzado. ―El qué. ―¿Qué somos? Ya hemos dejado claro que hermanos, no somos, ni lo seremos. ―Somos familia. ―Wang lo dijo con convicción. ―¿Qué significa eso? ―Que eres mi hogar, mi sitio seguro, dónde quiero estar siempre… ―Wang… ―Entiendes ahora por qué tenía tanto miedo y por qué me tenía que alejar. ―Sí… Vamos a intentar esto, seamos hogar para los dos. Se fueron a la residencia de estudiantes y por el camino se encontraron con el abuelo Ding, le contaron donde dejaron todo lo que compraron y se despidieron apropiadamente de él.

Al llegar al cuarto, tal y como predijo Wang, no había nadie allí. Tian fue precavido y cerró la puerta del cuarto con pestillo, así se enterarían bien si alguno de sus compañeros de cuarto iba a entrar en la habitación, y besó apasionadamente a Wang.

So this is one of those messy storylines which if it weren’t for most of its cliches and and the later let’s say five last episodes where it goes full on 🤪 it could’ve been excellent…..But and I do mean but, putting that aside this is a hilarious, fantastically acted drama. I was really impressed with the main male lead when the whole switched place scenario took effect. I mean with Bai Lu I knew she would be phenomenal cause well you know she’s Bai Lu (*ahem* finger heart) but was surprised with Zhang Yi Jie. He really shines in this one. Overall if you’re in this to watch a well written story I’m sorry to say this isn’t it. I did enjoy this nonetheless, especially the little 3 minute skits they had after each episode were utterly hilarious.
