hey anon! yeah, one of the disadvantages of using g4tw’s downloads is that they don’t patch the base game. they only upload the expansions and game packs and stuff. pretty much all cc needs the most recent patch to show up properly. in order to get the g4tw version working correctly with cc, you need to download all the expansions in the order listed here. essentially, they all work together to provide a cohesive cracked installation, so you need the most recent pack to use cc (which right now is seasons) but you also need all of the previous packs for seasons to work right. it’s complicated. if you need any more clarification, hit me up. :>

If you still want more DLC, skip using the 1.30.105.1010 update and go ahead with step #9. 09.) You should now apply the torrent The Sims 4: Fitness Stuff.

10.) Download and install the torrent The Sims 4: Toddlers Stuff. If you just want to play with the Toddlers Stuff DLC, and your game starts up with Error Code 3/in Spanish, please delete the "Game"-folder once more from your install directory of The Sims 4. Download and apply the fixed "Game-folder" for Toddlers Stuff instead. If you still want more DLC, skip using this fixed "Game-folder", and go ahead with step #11. 11.) Download and install the torrent The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs. 12.) Download and install the the torrent The Sims 4: Laundry Day Stuff. 13.) Download and install the torrent The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure.   14.) Download and install the torrent The Sims 4: My First Pet Stuff. 15.) Finally, download and install the Update version 1.41.42.1020.

16.) If you want to use the 32-bit version of The Sims 4, now please MOVE (don’t copy) the “The Sims 4” folder located in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\ to THIS location instead: C:\Program Files (x86)\ So your new installation location will be: C:\Program Files (x86)\The Sims 4\ (Note: if you have a 32-bit Windows operating system, this folder will not exist on your system. In that case you can move the folder to this location instead: C:\Program Files\). 17.)  If you want to use the 64-bit version of The Sims 4 (which is only possible if you're using a 64-bit Windows version), we recommend you move the "The Sims 4" folder to this folder instead: C:\Program Files\ , so that your new installation location of The Sims 4 will be C:\Program Files\The Sims 4 . 18.) Done! You now have the latest available working version of The Sims 4, with all Expansion Packs, Free Packs, Game Packs and Stuff Packs! If you have a 32-bit Windows operating system, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\The Sims 4\Game\Bin and start the game by double-clicking the "TS4.exe" file. If you have a 64-bit Windows version, you can use "TS4_x64.exe" file under C:\Program files\The Sims 4\Game\Bin   to start the game instead. (See step 8 above)

If you want to create shortcuts to quickly launch the game from your Desktop, right-click on the desired .exe file and choose Send to > Desktop (Create shortcut) .

Start the game and… ENJOY playing the latest version (1.41.42.1020) of The Sims 4!

Additional information.

 A lot of people who bought Origin-basegames of TS4 asked us whether it was possible to apply the Games4theworld-DLC of the game, onto Origin-games. As of lately, it does not appear to be possible. We do NOT recommend you apply these DLC, on an Origin-basegame of The Sims 4. This entire guide assumes you are using either the Games4theworld-basegame or any other TS4 basegame from RELOADED. However, you can still download an Origin basegame, and install it "parallel" to the Games4theworld-stuff. You could start this Origin-game, for example, if you would like to get hold of Gallery-items. However, in this case, you should keep in mind that there will be a conflict of userdata-folders under Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4. A possible way to solve the conflict can be found in this thread here.

In general we recommend installing "all the way" up to the latest available DLC release, at any moment. However, should you not want to install all DLC, it is possible or even likely that you will encounter endless household loading screens, error codes 3, and other issues. This will be the case for example, if you forego step #7 in the above-mentioned guide. To compensate for that, you will need to apply a fresh "Game"-folder, for the latest available patch version. THE SIMS 3: Installing Steps (Easy Ver.)

I had a hard time understanding everything when I first started so I compiled everything with the easiest to understand explanation possible.

The original guide is HERE in the Games4TheWorld forum but I have a very short attention span and to go through so many links with even more explanations confuses the heck out of me. If you’re like me, I hope this is going to be helpful for you.

Before we start: You’re going to need to also install at least ONE of the Expansion Packs for this to work.

1. Download  The Sims 3 HERE. Install it as usual.

Do not use the #Crack folder. It’s not dangerous or anything, but the one we’re going to download is an older version of TS3.

You want an updated version which is 1.67, so we’re going to install a patch for that with the crack in Step 4 later.

2. Download any Expansion Packs you want. You need to have at least ONE Expansion Packs for the Crack to work.

Do not use the #Crack folder. Same reason as above.

3. Download the Fix for everything (The Sims 3 Fix) HERE. (They’re all original files not Cracks except for the ones in # Crack folder.)

Extract it. You’re going to have 11 folders and installation guides in PDF and Word inside. Both contain the same stuff, I prefer the PDF but Word works just as fine.

Go to the Base game folder and copy what’s inside (.exe and .dll) then paste them in C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin to replace the existing ones.

For Expansion Packs crack, look for “# Installation Guide” in the folder we just downloaded. We will also replace the .exe and .dll.

Ignore Step 11 because we’re going to update our old version of The Sims 3 to 1.67 with an updater manually. This is very important because I did so so so many attempts on doing Step 11 and it always gives me an error, so let’s just avoid it altogether.

4. Download the 1.67 Updater HERE. This is an installer to give the old version we have an update.

5. Go back to The Sims 3 Fix folder and go to # Crack folder.

6. Copy what’s inside (.exe and .dll) and paste them in C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin to replace the existing ones.

7. PLAY AND HAVE FUN!
