It’s from the same car crash that gave him the chip in his tooth!

Basically, when Ford blasted his brain with Project Mentem, it reacted very badly because: 1. His head wound from his previous (attempted) surgery wasn’t fully closed, and 2. He had tampered with the machine to make its effects more potent.

But, then I thought to myself: wow, there is no way this motherfucker realistically survived malnutrition, sleep deprivation, mutilation (from Bill), a botched auto-brain surgery (in unsanitary conditions) AND getting basically electrocuted until his brain scrambled. I mean, plot armour is cool and all, but this seems a little excessive.

So, I was like: how can I get this guy to go to the hospital without having to call an ambulance to his place, and accidentally reveal the existence of the portal to the authorities wayyy too early in the timeline?

Solution? Hit him with a car.

[No blood version.]

So this is what happens: Ford wakes back up in his underground lab, disoriented, confused, and overwhelmed. In his dazed delirium, he somehow manages to leave his shack and finds himself staggering around in the woods aimlessly. Then, he walks into the road and gets hit by a car. He is sent to the hospital, and he gets a little bit better with their treatment so that he isn’t on the brink of death (although they were unable to pry the metal out of his head without causing serious issues). But ultimately, he freaks out when he wakes up in the hospital like a week later and instantly ditches the place, rushing back into the town streets. His injuries weren’t fully healed by the time he woke up though, so he was stuck with the cast and the chip in his front tooth.

"What Will You Leave Behind?" If you haven't played Spiritfarer yet, I cannot possibly recommend it enough. Emotional, wholesome, beautiful, and such a wonderful take on coming to terms with saying "goodbye." Thunder Lotus knocked it SO far out of the park with it, and it will forever be a favorite.

Pac: -emoticons on chat right now and say, "Aww, those two!"

Fit: They f- they fcking hate us, they hate-

Foolish: [Sends a puking emoji in chat]

Pac: OH LOOK- Foolish!

[They both laugh]

Pac: I know how I can reply to- to him.

Fit: Oh man...

Pac: Wait- here. [Pac sends a disappointed / sighing emoji and laughs]

Fit: There you go. [Fit sends a yawning / sleeping emoji, and they both laugh]

[Scene transitions to Foolish and Tubbo]

Foolish: [Notices the heart emojis in chat and sends back a puking emoji]

Tubbo: I feel like my first level 30 enchantment shovel was crazy.

Foolish: Um, I don't think that's so crazy! I mean, I- I- every- every-

Tubbo: Where'd you put the lapis?

Foolish: Um, oh- oh here, it's in my... um, here you go [tosses it to Tubbo]

Tubbo: [Sees Foolish vomit] Uh... You alright there?

Foolish: Yeah, no- I just, um...

Tubbo: That was gross.

Foolish: Yeah, I was just judging Fit and Pac.

Tubbo: Yeah, I also hate gay people.

Foolish: [Laughs]

Went to the Homestuck Rave and Renn Faire this weekend. Both were v fun (thoug in vastly different ways) I hung w some pretty cool peeps and served cunt along the way

[Little ramble because I thought about it one night while trying to fall asleep and I'm currently tired]

Riddler in Arkham City puts a contraption on the hostages' heads to force them to keep walking or explode. It's kind of like experiencing OCD in a way - you have to keep walking (the compulsion) in order to not have the bad thing happening (dying - the obsession). Walking might start off easy, but if you keep walking, it gets very tiring, and you're stuck in an endless cycle of doing this to stop the horrible thing from happening, and it gets so frustrating, being trapped forever, held hostage by your brain. Maybe Edward could be crying for help (or maybe it's just me by making this analysis 🙃). He feels like he has to keep facing Batman, no matter how bad it always ends up for him, no matter how much he suffers, he can't stop, he has to win. And when Batman shows up, he rescues these people, but for Edward he has to suffer, because he ultimately can't win, his compulsion to prove his intellect always makes him suffer and makes things worse. This could also link to how in Arkham Knight he reveals he has intrusive thoughts about Batman hurting him - Batman IS the obsession made worse by the compulsions and the cycle.

Has anyone ever thought of the possibility of people in hisui getting a magazine from AFTER ingo and akari go home with either or both of them on it. Like they've already left and lo and behold in the tail end of the entire mess a magazine appears with one of them on the cover looking fresh stunning and most importantly happy. If it were Ingo i feel like he'd be all dressed up goth on the cover of like Vogue or something lmao (i don't think he wouldn't get famous if he wasn't already after coming home. Theyd want the publicity+cool extint Pokémon on the cover). If it were akari shed probably be like posing all badass like the badass teenager she is, scars in full view (she's a survivor!!!!!!). Inside is a little tidibit of their life after coming home. It would be both funny as hell to see them react to how they are in their element and like connect the dots for their strange behaviors AND bring closure to the people they left in hisui. They may never know this but the people in the past do
