Gaara not even realising he has a thing for Naruto until Hinata goes "So... when did you fall for him?" and he completely bluescreens mid-rant about how Naruto has changed his life. He didn't even know he liked people that way until just now. Crying and throwing up about this revelation as Hinata rubs his back, very empathetic to The Struggles™️

I’ve been working on Shadows in Bloom and Glass Tears on and off. I’m planning on updating both sometime tonight.

Shadow in Bloom ch. 9 snippet:

His hand slid from her cheek to cradle the back of her head, his fingertips tangling gently in her hair. He tilted his head slightly, deepening the kiss just a fraction, savoring the small, surprised gasp that escaped her before she kissed him back. There was something sweet and soft in the way she responded to him, but it ignited a fire in his chest. He wanted to keep kissing her until he lost track of time until breathing became optional.

But eventually, he pulled back—barely. Their faces were still so close that he could feel her breath against his lips, and could see the red creeping all the way to the tips of her ears. He lowered his head slightly, his lips brushing just over the shell of her ear as he whispered, his voice husky and teasing, “Keep looking at me like that, Hinata, and I might forget we’re at your front gate…you’re making it hard for me to behave.”

Glass Tears ch. 37 snippet:

Sasuke took a step forward, his voice lowering to a quiet, menacing edge. “Does Naruto know the Kazekage-sama has a thing for her?” He let the words hang, his lips curving into a smug smirk when he saw the faint flicker of surprise in Gaara’s usually unreadable expression. That subtle crack in his demeanor sent a surge of satisfaction through Sasuke.

For the first time, he felt like he had the upper hand. “You’re awfully attentive to her,” Sasuke continued, his tone laced with mockery. “What’s the matter? Can’t find someone in Suna to occupy your time?”

Gaara didn’t respond at first, his calm exterior returning quickly. But when he finally spoke, his words were like a blade slipping between ribs. “It’s almost amusing how obvious you are, Sasuke. All that control you pride yourself on, gone the moment someone so much as glances her way. Insecurity doesn’t suit you.”

Tell us about Sand Orphan Siblings

Ah my baby bois lol

Sand Orphan Siblings follows a trio of orphans that decide to be brothers in an attempt to increase their chances of survival. Hiroki, the eldest, is aggressively protective of the youger two. Norio is the brains for the group, and Norio is the youngest anf most feral of the kids. They live in an orphanage in the Sand Village, causing trouble around the village, which puts them on Gaara's radar. And for Gaara they become a thorn in his side as they don't fear him or respect his authority as the kage.

I have a few aus for them, but it is typically lumped into a GaaHina verse lol

Guys the worst idea popped into my head

The scales don’t necessarily need to be there? The no scales version they’re just white af with the vitiligo (cuz the scales are separate from the skin)

But a friendly note for those unaware my hyuga and uchiha interpretations is that they aren’t human but they’re reptilian so don’t worry about that 😭 the hyuga genetics are strong in my hinata kids (I plan on redesigning/making my own boruto and himawari designs soon 😋)

Marriage in the Sand — In a time of insecure peace treaties a marriage of convenience is drawn up between the two villages and who better to marry off but the heiress of one of the most powerful clans in the leaf village and the Kazekage of the Sand.

Grains of Sand — A thwarted kidnapping attempt, an assumption, and a little helpful push gone wrong, has Hinata in tears of frustration. Gaara can only sigh as he gets dragged into this mess. He's never meddling in someone's love life again.
