Had a silly dream where JD and Floyd came back to the troll tree before the last trollstice but after singing killed their grandma and decided to doodle and expand upon it a bit

Clay never left the tree but was too scared to return to the families pod since he didn’t want things to go back to how they were before, he did try to find his brothers during the escape but got separated by the cave in.

John Dory was the one to find Clay and see him get caught by the cave in, when he came out of the tunnel without Clay and holding his wristband they all just assumed he was dead. Even so JD still searches for Clay with the hope that he might’ve escaped and is alive out there.

They know Bruce is alive but after JD got the post card he assumed Bruce didn’t want to be found

The Better Man movie has me thinking about the Rock DJ music Video in a new light

I always just assumed the video was a joke and/or deliberately controversial, but given the themes shown in Better Man about Robbie and his relationship to fame and performing around the time the video was made, I can't help but reframe it through the films lens

Starting with singing and dancing to get the crowd's attention, then stripping his shirt off, his pants, even the underwear until he is completely exposed and when that still doesn't work the only thing left to strip off is his very skin, and then literally tearing himself apart to get attention, to be entertaining and worth looking at...

Then they all want a piece of him (again literally depicting the metaphor) until there's nothing recognisably him left, the very end as the song fades out even has him stop dancing and looking down at his hand dejectedly

(I know it's a crowd of girls so it could be read more as what you're willing to do to get a girl, but a crowd is still a crowd)

I might be thinking too much about this but a) that video scarred me as a child and b) just because the song is a party song doesn't mean the video can't have artistic merit

How do you think Puzzles is when it comes to watching movies? More specifically bad ones.

I have a personal hc that Puzzles is insufferable when he watches a movie he doesn’t like. As in, he’ll actively start critiquing it as he watches the film. And then proceeds to talk about what he would have done differently. And how he could have made the movie better if he was the one making it.

He’s vain, he’s egotistic, and I love him for that.

When it comes to watching series or movies, I think he's often quiet and analytical over them. Enjoying the story while also noticing every little detail in the production, or set design, or the director's questionable creative choices. That's for first viewings though, or when he's alone watching them.

When he's in your (YES YOUR) company and you both agree It Is Not a silent watching, he'll become the MOST ANNOYING MOTHERFUCKER EVER and spill literally every thought and tidbit of knowledge he knows about that film.

Did you know the production had a crunch time of six months for this film? Did you know this scene was actually improvised? Did you know the script was changed because the executives found it offensive?

Did you also know he could have written this much better? Did you also know how much anger he feels towards this garbage movie that he's considered jumping out the window during the watching? WELL NOW YOU DO!

He'll let his frustration be known so you can either join him in complaining and hate watch for fun or you can just. Yknow. Be a wet towel and kill the fun <3
