It’s been a bit, but here is the next installment of the Gundam Witch from Mercury model kits. The HG CFP-010 Heindree, a grunt Mobile Suit Developed by Grasslyey Defense. An uniqueMS with a big round shield on a pivoting arm mounted on the left arm. On the right arm the is a smaller shield weapon called the ‘lantern Shield’ which has electromagnetic lance, a beam pistol and shield all in one.
As for the kit itself it was a fairly simple build over all, and came together nicely. I decided to go the extra mile and paint everything instead of using the provided stickers seeing as I also had decals for it. Which I think really make this kit look superior good. The build over all while quite solid and has some decent mobility. It does have some glaring issues in the hips the upper most part of the thigh is a two part socket with pegs that go into the waist and another that goes into the upper part of the leg where both parts can rotate around but the only bend is at the hip. And with the way that is situated you have to do some really awkward twisting to get any kind of wide stance. That coupled with he feet also having a poor range of motion it takes a lot of fiddling to get any dynamic positions.

Republicans ready to defeat tax bill to help Trump
February 1, 2024
ROBERT B. HUBBELL
A tax bill with bipartisan support passed in the House on a 357 to 70 to vote. The bill, if approved by the Senate, would be a significant achievement because it expands the amount of the child tax credit available to lower-income families—a key Biden objective. In exchange, the bill would maintain business tax deductions scheduled to expire. The details are here: WaPo, House votes to expand child tax credit, beef up corporate tax breaks. (Accessible to all.)
The fact that the bill made it through the fractious House should be a good sign of likely passage in the Senate. Sadly, it is not. Why? Because Senate Republicans don’t want to give President Biden a “win” in an election year. Sound familiar? See USA Today, GOP senator doesn’t want to pass a tax bill because it could make Biden ‘look good’.
Per USA Today, Senator Grassley said,
Passing a tax bill that makes the president look good — mailing out checks before the election — means he could be re-elected, and then we won’t extend the 2017 tax cuts.
Not to be outdone, Senator Mitt Romney said he would oppose the bill because it would turn into “another entitlement program which is massively expensive.”
Grassley’s comment is telling on many levels. First, it contains the naked admission that Republicans are no longer working to serve the American people but are, instead, concerned only with serving their overlord, Donald Trump.
Moreover, Grassley is wrong in asserting that the bill will “send checks” to Americans in an election year. The child tax credit is just that—a tax credit offsets taxes owed. If a taxpayer owes no tax, then the tax credit can generate a refund (up to $1,600).
Worse, Grassley opposes the bill in the hope that Trump will be able to extend his 2017 tax cuts for millionaires—which added $3.5 trillion to the deficit (through 2033). Extending those tax cuts would increase the deficit even more.
To increase the likelihood of granting windfall tax cuts to the nation’s top income earners in another Trump administration, Senators Grassley and Romney want to deprive tax benefits to the working poor—benefits that Romney derisively calls “entitlements.”
Romney, a former hedge fund manager, has no problem with the “carried interest deduction” for hedge fund managers, which generates billions in tax deductions for the nation’s wealthiest billionaires. In Romney’s view, the carried interest deduction isn’t an “entitlement” because billionaires and millionaires should get to keep their money free of taxes because they are “special.”
We once again stand at the precipice of legislative action that will benefit the American people—but Republicans oppose it because doing so is contrary to Donald Trump's partisan interests. Don’t believe me? Just ask Senator Chuck Grassley.

"A very serious allegation. I wish I could say that I knew it was true or untrue". Not that doubts would stop him from giving this widespread airing. Eighty-nine years old? He gives old age a real bad name, even while Joe shows it can mean wisdom and maturity.

it needs to be said here, too, but for all the similarities g gundam has with g witch (roses bits = gund bits, a rival slash best bro with pink bangs, duels, the earth as being impoverished and abandoned, the assimilation of a person and a gundam as one being, nobel gundam who is as cute as aerial) I am disappointed that:
1. I hardly see anyone call g gundam as g witch's spiritual predecessor and vice versa
2. Suletta and miorine did not win the day with that seki ha lovelove attack like IMAGINE imagine them beaming heart shapes at the intergalactic laser cannon and flying around with trails of sparkles that later disintegrate qz and all the other gundams like
personally I loved g witch's ending but if they did it that way I would love it so much more I am sure of this
#g gundam#g witch#also if anyone asks me who my favorite character is it's CHIBODEE'S GIRLS!!!!!#they're like if the grassley girls had a bit more jeturk in them 🤭🤭🤭#also i now know why guel has pink bangs and it's not bc of his nameless mom it's his spiritual predecessor chibodee crocket#everyone say thank you chibodee crocket 😌

From the February 21, 2024 article:
The former New York State prosecutor who led the successful investigation and prosecution of Donald Trump’s “Trump University” is calling on the U.S. Dept. of Justice to act “immediately” to investigate communications from top congressional Republicans in light of Tuesday night’s bombshell revelation that the FBI’s former informant may have fed the Bureau false Kremlin-concocted propaganda attacking President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
Former State Assistant Attorney General Tristan Snell, who won New York’s $25 million case against Trump, the largest ever at the time, said Tuesday night that House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, House Oversight Committee Chairman Jim Comer, and U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley, “were either duped by Smirnov and the Kremlin — or they were in on it.”

Finished the HG Michaelis kit. The CFK-029 Michaelis was manufactured by the Grassley Defense Systems and is piloted by Shaddiq Zenelli. Unlike most Mobile suits this unit is strictly short and close combat fighting unit with an its right arm Beam Bracer a multi functional weapon system that can both fire beam attacks or use beam energy to form a beam saber. It can detach in a wire guided attack mode. With the jaws opened the weapon it deploy an anti-permit field that nullifies the use of the data storms as a Gundam counter mechanism. While it’s left arm is a fixed shield and beam saber
This kit was tons of fun to build. And has a lot more of great mobility. As you can tell by the picture I had a lot of fun posing this guy. I am glad I have a second kit of this guy that I intend to use as my first custom designed unit. But that project is a while off.
