I haven't tested it on attempts to produce anything truly nasty, because I don't want to read it myself, nor do I want a poorly paid worker to have to read it someday in an attempt to improve chatgpt's filters. I'd like to think the AI Weirdness hack only works if you're aiming for humorous, mostly-wholesome content.

I’M BAAACK!!!!! Oh gosh, what a joy! 🤩 ✨ 🤩 ✨ 🤩 ✨ 🤩

I know I wasn’t missing for more than 24 hours, but those have been exhausting. Reason: Windows update broke my laptop. Totally. Obliterated boot. It gave me blue screen of death on welcome screen over and over. 

Then I tried to run safe mode, and it didn’t want to let me do it. Which was a pain, because someone thought it was apparently a good idea to switch activating safe mode with a simple key to interrupting your laptop’s restart about three times in a row to get to recovery and activate safe mode from there. Master sadist, must give credit for that. 🤗

Then I tried to repair startup, system restore, reset windows, and none worked. Which led me to many attempts to repair the obviously broken bootloader through command prompt, and that didn’t go swimmingly as to say, because there’s only so much you can do with no nerves at all, laptop which denies access to half commands, and of course, inability to go even into safe mode. 😫 😫 😫 😫 😫

All of that resulted with my laptop giving the blue screen of death even on automatic repair. That’s when I lost it and tried to install Windows from scratch. It’s not a hard task, if you have a normal BIOS, and not an ASUS one. Srsly, this thing doesn’t even have USB as a bootable option unless you plug it in, and even when you do, it doesn’t recognize it every time you open BIOS, so you just have to restart the thing over and over again while lying down on F2 button and praying it works. 🤯

But when it finally worked, I found out that I can’t install windows on my disk because it has an MBR partion and not GPT. I was tears. Bloody tears. 😭 😭 😭  The only thing left for me to do was to format the hard drive fully, all partitions (and I desperately hoped I’d be able to save local disk D, because music, videos, games, everything was on there beside core Windows and programs), and hope I will be able to enter safe mode now to convert it to GPT. 

Luckily, it worked. Formatting sent the blue screen of death to hell where it belongs, hard disk got converted and new Windows installed in a jiff. It’s working swell, it’s so super fast now when my poor laptop was rid of 900 GB burden it had carried. 

Downside is that I will have to restore everything, including my PS (thankfully, my coloring presets have been uploaded to five different online storage as well as documents of importance to me), and all the newest episodes, so there’s not gonna be gifs until I deal with that.

And there’ll be no queue or anything until tomorrow. I’m too tired. I just wanna restore this piece of bloody electronics that’s at the same time my life and my bane to a decent state, first of all, to forever disable the updates, and then start with downloading core necessities I can’t live without, like Office, PS and Nexus dock, back. Then of course, the newest Spn episode so I can get back to making gifs as soon as possible.
