۱. ردیابی لحظه‌ای (Real-time Tracking)

ردیابی لحظه‌ای، یکی از مهم‌ترین امکاناتی است که یک ردیاب خودرو ارائه می‌دهد. این ویژگی به کاربران اجازه می‌دهد تا به‌صورت زنده موقعیت خودرو را روی نقشه مشاهده کنند.

در صورتی‌که خودرو دزدیده شود، ردیابی سریع به پلیس کمک می‌کند تا موقعیت دقیق خودرو را پیدا کند.

همچنین شرکت‌هایی که یک مجموعه خودرو دارند، با این قابلیت می‌توانند عملکرد رانندگان خود را در زمان واقعی بررسی کنند و مطمئن شوند که از مسیرهای تعیین‌شده می‌گذرند.

۲. ثبت تاریخچه مسیرها

علاوه بر ردیابی زنده‌ موقعیت مکانی، ردیاب‌های خودرو اطلاعات مربوط به مسیرهای پیموده‌شده را ذخیره می‌کنند. این ویژگی امکان مشاهده و بررسی مسیرهای طی‌شده در یک بازه زمانی مشخص را به کاربر می‌دهد.

۳. هشدارهای امنیتی

بسیاری از ردیاب‌های خودرو مجهز به سیستم هشداردهی هستند. این سیستم‌ها می‌توانند در صورت وقوع اتفاقات مشکوک مانند باز شدن درب‌ها، روشن شدن خودرو، خروج از محدوده جغرافیایی (Geo-fence) یا دستکاری دستگاه، به صورت خودکار هشدار ارسال کنند.

با وجود این هشدارها، در صورت تلاش برای سرقت یا جابجایی خودرو بدون اجازه‌ی شما، به سرعت از طریق پیامک یا تماس تلفنی که ردیاب با شما برقرار می‌کند، مطلع می‌شوید.

۴. خاموش کردن خودرو از راه دور

برخی از ردیاب‌های پیشرفته قابلیت قطع برق خودرو از راه دور را نیز دارند. این ویژگی به صاحب خودرو این امکان را می‌دهد که در هر زمان احساس خطر کردند (مثل وقتی خودروی خود را در یک منطقه‌ی ناامن پارک می‌کنند) یا حتی وقتی ماشینشان دزدیده شد، با زدن یک دکمه، برق ماشین خود را قطع کنند تا دیگر به‌هیچ‌عنوان روشن نشود.

۵. نظارت بر سرعت و رفتار رانندگی

ردیاب‌های خودرو می‌توانند داده‌هایی مانند سرعت، شتاب‌گیری و ترمزهای ناگهانی را ثبت و گزارش کنند. نظارت بر سرعت و رفتار رانندگی می‌تواند به بهبود رانندگی و کاهش خطرات تصادف کمک کند. این اطلاعات به‌خصوص برای شرکت‌های حمل‌و‌نقل و مدیریت ناوگان مفید است.

۶. امکان شنود صدا از راه دور

برخی از ردیاب‌های پیشرفته‌ دارای یک میکروفن داخلی یا خارجی هستند که در کابین خودرو نصب می‌شود. این میکروفن به کاربران اجازه می‌دهد تا از راه دور صدای داخل خودرو را بشنوند.

۷. دکمه‌ی sos

دکمه‌ی SOS که به آن دکمه‌ی کمک اضطراری هم گفته می‌شود، همانطور  که از نامش پیداست برای درخواست کمک در شرایط اضطراری کاربرد دارد. این دکمه در سال‌های اخیر به تلفن‌های همراه، ساعت‌ّای هوشمند و برخی از خودروها افزوده شود.

در حال حاضر برخی از ردیاب‌‌های هوشمند و پیشرفته نیز از این قابلیت پشتیبانی می‌کنند. با این قابلیت هر زمان در شرایط اضطراری قرار بگیرید یا حادثه‌ای برایتان رخ دهد می‌توانید این دکمه را فشار دهید تا با شماره‌های پیش‌فرضی که خودتان از قبل در اپلیکیشن ردیاب ذخیره‌ کرده‌اید (مثل امداد یا حتی شماره‌ی اعضای خانواده) تماس گرفته شود و موقعیت مکانی‌تان برای آن‌ها ارسال شود. در برخی از ردیاب‌‌ها این قابلیت به‌صورت خودکار و با تشخیص تصادف، فعال می‌شود و نیازی به فشردن دکمه نیست.

۸. تعیین محدوده‌ی مجاز رانندگی

با کمک ردیاب شما می‌توانید یک محدوده‌ی مشخصی را برای خودروی خود تعریف کنید تا در صورت خروج یا ورود خودرو به این محدوده، هشدار دریافت کنید.

این قابلیت بیشتر برای شرکت‌‌هایی نظیر اجازه خودرو و سرویس مدارس می‌تواند کاربردی باشد. همچنین اگر خودروی خود را به شخصی می‌سپارید و نمی‌خواهید از محدوده‌ی شهر خارج شود نیز می‌توانید از این قابلیت ردیاب کمک بگیرید.

اکثر مردم ردیاب را تنها با قابلیت مکان‌یابی آن می‌شناسند، اما امروزه ردیاب‌ها امکاناتی فراتر از ردیابی موقعیت مکانی ارائه می‌دهند. مواردی مثل ارسال هشدار، شنود صدا، کنترل سرعت، تعین محدوده‌ی مجاز  و sos از مهم‌ترن قابلیت‌های ردیاب هستند. امکانات نه‌تنها برای جلوگیری از سرقت خودروها کارآمد هستند، بلکه به بهبود بهره‌وری و ایمنی در صنعت حمل‌و‌نقل و مدیریت شخصی خودروها نیز کمک شایانی می‌کنند. با انتخاب ردیاب مناسب، می‌توان از تمام این ویژگی‌ها بهره‌مند شد و آرامش خاطر بیشتری داشت.
