If it seems like I am "distracted by other things besides GG" it's probably because THAT IS THE CASE.
Over the course of August, Gundam Breaker 4 will also be running several Network Beta Tests (starting around August 10th or so), so I will probably be participating in those (and I welcome my friends to do so as well). Gundam Info on Twitter will have the forthcoming details eventually, I suspect.
Oh trust me, you guys will probably enjoy it as much as I am.
By the way, Gundam Breaker 4 will also be releasing August 31st (which I already pre-ordered the ULTIMATE edition, so that's something you can expect to see more of).

BUILD DIVERS SHIT
The former "Princess" of Force Avalon.
Diver name: Nuke
Once a member of Force Avalon, she quit after ending her relationship with the champion, Kyoya Kujo. She spends most of her time alone in her own Force Nest modeled after Lacroa Castle, tending to her sprawling digital garden of violet roses. Her only known Gunpla is an unaltered GP-04 Gerbera in 1/100 scale, making it larger than the majority of units used in GBN. Despite its slightly limited articulation, its speed is unmatched.
She recently changed her Diver outfit after a conversation with Force Build Divers. While she seems to be opening up to Koichi and Ayame, she is still reclusive and unwilling to talk to many people, especially Kyoya, despite his best efforts. The Game Master is fond of her and awards her many special privileges (such as a Force Nest despite now being a solo player), though she never abuses them or brags.
She was convinced by Kyoya to join the Coalition of Volunteers to eradicate the Break Decal and Mass Diver threat. However, she turned against Kyoya in defense of Sarah, the EL-Diver. Since then, she has refused to speak to him at all despite his seventy thousand emails.
She is good friends with Ms. Tori, who is often seen perching on the castle's many balconies.
Members of Force Avalon still call her "Princess", which she doesn't seem to mind.
Kyoya sometimes calls her Violet Rose to which she responds 'more like Violent Rose' before murdering him with her bare hands
In real life, she's said to actually be quite extroverted once she opens up.

I actually haven’t talked about it but because it’s becoming unbearable I might as well explain
So since about May/June I’ve been having pains on my right wrist. Results show that it’s a swollen tendon on the wrist joint that connects to the thumb.
I keep waking up with pains on my wrist so I had to take prescribe medication to relieve the pain. Also been purchasing wrist guards to ease the movement a little while I’m working. I have since stopped taking medication because it stopped working at a point when I no longer woke up to the pain. I have realised that it might be somewhat in the process of healing and in stage 2 of it.
However I suffer from cramping when I move my wrist at a certain degree and I still seldomly use the guards/splints at work.
Currently on the third stage where my entire wrist plus the joint is painful when I make any movement on my wrist or thumb. So basically typing somewhat hurts at certain points.
My GP says that the last resort is an injection but I want to let it heal naturally because partially don’t know how it will work and I’m a little iffy on injections.
So as a result, the actual reason why my gunpla building has been slow especially after completing the HG Michaelis is because the pain on my wrist has hit that point. I already fucked up two parts of the waterslide decals of the HG Gundam Aerial (which I’ve been remaking) because of this injury (didn’t have this issue with the Michaelis).
Therefore will very likely go on a small Gunpla hiatus until the unbearable pain comes to a minimal. I’ve already noticed that I’m struggling to even do nub removal on the chest armour of the Aerial because of it. Very likely because I severely cramped the wrist last night and not sure how long it will recover.
Why am I still doing Gunpla despite the injury? Because the injured wrist isn’t even my dominant hand, I think I’ve said in the past I’m left handed so nub removal and stuff isn’t a problem. The problem is that thanks to the cramping lately, I’m struggling to use my right hand to hold onto things while my dominant left does the work, this includes Gunpla nub removal and waterslides
Hopefully I can go back to properly building Gunpla soon. The hiatus might take either a week or so. Hopefully with my work being on hold after this coming week I can finally get the time to heal itself

RX-78GP02R天 Gundam GP-Rase-Two-Ten
I feel like the Build series seriously underestimates the abilities of the GN Drive. A single GN Drive is able to fuel a high firepower unit like the Virtue or Seravee, and two in sync can bend the laws of physics. This thing has FIVE. It and its weapons are powered by three, which is already overkill, but then the Two-Ten adds two rapid-fire bazookas that are each powered by one. Again, think of the final fight scene from Trailblazer and remember that part of each GN Drive’s power is also diverted to moving the machine itself. All that raw energy funneled into a single blast. I hope this guy’s in Re:Rise because I want to see the destruction.
The Good: An overall very solid kit. With a wide array of weapons, and different ways for it to use each; there are a ton of poses and variations you can come up with for this unit. The shoulder binders also function as extra arms, allowing for even more options. Storage for almost all of its weapons is a plus, too
You have the option of building the GP-Rase-Two featured in Build Divers, or the GP-Rase-Two-Ten from Re:Rise. The only differences are the storage locations of some weapons, the addition of the GN Revolver Bazookas, and the claws on the binders. It’s easy to swap between the two forms, as the claws can be easily disassembled.
The Bad: While you can achieve a variety of poses with the GP-Rase-Two-Ten, its actual joints are a bit lacking. There’s specific molding in the shoulder armor to allow for great outward range, but the elbows can’t even bend 90°. Similarly, the knees and ankles can’t adjust very far, and with a back-heavy unit like this having good feet is important for maintaining balance. It does fall backward if you’re not careful or don’t use a stand.
The Details: Like the 00 Sky and AGEII Magnum, I did the panel lining in gold. There were quite a few recessed areas I did in black (such as the holes in the wrists, the feet and toes, behind the orange in the head, and all the weapon barrels), with parts of the hip skirt done so as well to break up the red. The panel lining around the GN Drives was done in metallic green to simulate GN Particles, and the GN Eye Blasters were done in metallic red.
(I know all the Drives are Tau variants, but the unit is already monotonously red.)
Overall, this is a great kit that is able to get over its lack of movement with a good accessory pool and multiple limbs. It’s also that one unit from Divers you wanted but they never released (or in my case, thought they did but when you looked it up it was just display mock-ups). I don’t know if I’d recommend it in a vacuum, but if you like the base unit, the series, or the character there’s no reason to avoid it.

JESSE’S GUNPLA SHOWCASE #01
HIGH GRADE CB-0000G/C REBORNS GUNDAM
ORIGIN: GUNDAM 00
PILOT: RIBBONS ALMARK
DATE KIT WAS ACQUIRED: JULY 2010
ASSEMBLY FINISH DATE: JULY / AUGUST 2010
Allow me to take you back in time to a little bit of my childhood, and tell you my story of how I got into Gundam, and of course, Gunpla.
I have been into Gundam for quite some time, since I was 9 years old. Since Toonami was the only outlet i had for Gundam at the time, I started with G Gundam in 2002. Unfortunately, I was turned away due to SD Gundam Force, thanks to it being a complete nightmare of a show. I eventually found my love for Gundam again thanks to the internet and Wing around ‘06 when i was 13. It eventually branched off into SEED for about 3 years. I started to see how flawed the show was with it’s repeatedly used stock footage, and story that seemed too derivative of the Original MSG, and began to lose interest again, especially after watching Destiny. And then everything changed one Monday night in 2009 when i was flicking through channels, and ended up tuning into SyFy. They were airing Episode 25 of the first season of Gundam 00. I was immediately hooked after seeing that episode, and watched over S1 and S2 when it aired that Summer. I have since then begun to watch the shows in the Universal Century Timeline in Production Order, having recently finished with F91.
Of course, with being a Gundam diehard like me, also comes the Gunpla. AKA Gundam Model Kits. Believe it or not, I actually was building the models before I even started watching any of the shows. I found a couple of older kids playing with two Non-grade Wing kits (Epyon and Heavyarms), and i wanted one too. That summer, I got my two first ever Gundam kits: Shining Gundam and Sandrock, both NG. I knew where Sandrock came from, but had no clue where Shining was from until G Gundam aired later that summer, which made it kinda special. I began to collect more kits that year, mostly from G, but I had a few from Wing as well. That Christmas, I got my first High Grade kit: A GP-01fb Zephyranthes from 0083, and it became a nightmare. I kept breaking the small parts as i was trying to remove them with my fingers, and it looked like a complete mess. It was a very discouraging experience, and so much I didn’t build another kit for 8 years after that...
Fast forward to the Summer of 2010. I was about to begin my Senior Year in High School, and I had gotten my first legitimate job as a restaurant cook. I met a friend the year before, who happened to be as much of a Gundam diehard as I was. And he had Gunpla too, specifically a MG Sinanju and a PG Gundam MK-II. I saw his Gundam Mk-II in a small display in School, and I immediately wanted to start building Gunpla again. I went to a hobby/train store out in Pewaukee, where he got his kits. I looked everywhere, and found two kits in particular. Both were from Gundam 00, and this was one of them.
The HG Reborns Gundam.
I had very little tools to work with when building this Gunpla. A small pair of scissors for removing the parts, toenail clippers for removing the nubs, tweezers for the stickers/decals, and a nail file for cleaning the stress marks (lol).
This kit took me about a week to put together. I was surprised by how easy assembly was, and how nice it turned out in the end. Sadly, upon me taking the kit out for the Showcase, a piece of the arm broke off transforming the Reborns Gundam into the Reborns Cannon. I figured it was going to have wear after seven years, but i was able to glue it back on at least. But being the first Gunpla kit i assembled in 8 years, this one will always have a special place in my heart....
.....even if it’s pilot is a dirty, lying, arrogant scumbag twat who think’s he’s above everybody else. Fucking Ribbons.
In conclusion, I chose to build the HG Reborns first believing it would be a good starter for me. I didn’t want to dive into something that would be too challenging until I was comfortable enough building. But after building the Reborns, I felt ready.
I was ready for my first Master Grade.
Next Time on Jesse’s Gunpla Showcase:
MG GUNDAM EXIA (IGNITION MODE)
#gunpla#Gundam 00#reborns gundam#plz let me know if you want to see more#i'd like to make this a series

Hello Blerds and Nerds! I’m going to get a little personal with you all. Gundam is my favorite anime series. Seriously. I have seen almost every Gundam series that has been put out and usually re-watch a series or two every year. Since seeing “Mobile Suit Gundam”, I’ve always wanted to build my own Gundam and become a pilot.
My absolute favorite Gundam.
When I was younger, I didn’t really pay attention to anything other than the Gundam anime. I found out years later that there were Gundam action figures and this thing called Gunpla. What is Gunpla you ask? Gunpla is essentially plastic model building various Gundam mobile suits.
When I first saw these, I assumed these were going to be extremely hard to build so I never purchased any. At the time I found out about them, Google wasn’t the force it was today so I didn’t bother looking up information about them. Fast forward to almost two years ago, I had recently moved to El Paso, TX and was exploring my new city. I found an anime shop on the other side town, honestly by accident (I did a post about it here). I walked in wide-eyed and excited I found a place that Cowboy Bebop notebooks but that’s not what caught my eye first. To the left of me was a wall of Gundam models. I had finally gotten to a place where I could ask the millions of questions I had about them. Did all of them require glue and paint? What special tools did I need?
The cashier from Robo Gato helped set me straight and I purchased my first three Gundam models, GP-02, Gundam X and SD Gundam Exia 00 . I took them home and took them like I would any other model (mainly plastic car models). As I started to build my first one, I started to feel a bit calmer. I didn’t expect building my first model to be lethargic as it was. It was a great feeling…an addictive feeling. After I finished my first one, I finished my second and third and before I knew it….I wanted more. No, NEEDED more. Not only was I fulfilling a childhood dream (besides actually piloting one).
I ended up buying more and building more. There are many different kinds of Gundam models, HG (High Grade), MG (Master Grade), PG (Perfect Grade) and RG (Real Grade). Honestly, I’m not sure what they really mean besides they go up in price. I have noticed MG and PG are bigger in size and details than HG. All the models I’ve built have been HG models which to me are a great place to start for beginner in the hobby.
These are my Gundams…I need more
I have joined a Facebook community of Gunpla that is local to me (Thank you Robo Gato). They have been very supportive and I’ve learned a lot about the hobby of Gunpla. At one point I want to get to the point where I can customize my Gunpla. When I say customize, I mean in the aspect of Gundam Builders. Literally mixing Gundam models to make your own original Gundam. They require paint and time. Most of the parts can be interchanged among models which I find to be pretty awesome.
Like this one…called Wing Gundam Archangel
If you were to start this hobby, start by finding a local anime shop in your city. If you don’t have one in your city, reach out to local groups on Facebook. It’s Facebook so it’s a 50/50 chance you’ll meet a group of assholes. Or you can just ask me as I continue to get more models and do more. I hope I didn’t bore you guys completely and if I did, oh well haha. Have you heard of Gunpla (besides Gundam Builders)? If so, have you ever built any? Would this be something you would want to try in future? Tell me in the comments! Until next time, Nerd out!
Be sure to start checking out our instagram here, and be on the lookout for more things in the future. If you have any other concerns, email us at [email protected]!
I do not own most of the pics posted here. Just wanted to let that be known…you know…copyright reasons.
Gundams in real life? Nah, just plastic models....still fun though. Hello Blerds and Nerds! I'm going to get a little personal with you all. Gundam is my favorite anime series.

building gunpla is something i love very much. it’s sort of a zen activity for me, and being able to look at a beautiful figure of a robot as the fruits of my labor is really incredible for me. My first (Fenice) and most recent (Gerbera) are my favorites by far. I shouldn’t play favorites but I did. I’m just gonna gush a little bit about each of my babies rn
Fenice Rinascita. I was inspired to build Gunpla after finally watching a little bit of Build Fighters. I went to the mall with my friend who has been building for a long time. We stopped at the couple stores the carry Gunpla and I had three in my mind that I was interested in and would get if they had them - Wing Zero Custom, Sandrock, and Fenice. I saw both of the former in a store and didn’t feel much of a spark. So imagine my surprise when we go to the other store and they have Fenice Rinascita... and something in my heart jumps to the ceiling. I sort of wailed, “They have Fenice...!” A guy was there with his girlfriend and they were also shopping. I lamented out loud to my friend that I didn’t know if I wanted her or the WZC they had. The guy leaned over to me and said, “Get Fenice!” I guess hearing someone else say her lovely name out loud made the decision for me.
Next I got G-Self Perfect Pack. I know nothing about the show he’s from or really him - I read up on him afterwards - but shopping through Gunpla at work, my coworker stumbled upon him and was amazed by him. I was too! I looked at the official art of him and couldn’t handle how adorable he was. I really love his design! I got him soon after and had a lot of fun building him, despite the arm disaster. He himself is a sticker disaster but I’m working on it. His backpack is so damn cool and I’m always trying to brainstorm ideas to make it really souped up and neato.
I took a break for a while after him. I was mostly working on customizing my SD GP04 into Madnug. In the meantime I wound up buying and building SD Knight Unicorn, who I didn’t put ANY stickers on (except his eyes). I have big plans for customizing him but I’m waiting for better circumstances (temperature) and for me to get a little bit more practice with stuff (which I’m getting with the SDGF kits I bought)
Then I bought Wing Gundam Honoo/Flame on Black Friday as a bad financial decision. Not a big deal since he’s just a High Grade. Wing is in a constant grappling match in my top 3 Gundam ranking (along with Sandrock and Gerbera), so any version of Wing is pretty much guaranteed to make me cry and go “yes, I want that!” I really like the little dude, clear plastic always gets me (it’s so pretty!) and he’s such a cute little thing! Also things that are Zero but with Bakunetsumaru’s colorscheme would always get a Big Gay Thumbs Up from me. That’s a big ol’ plus right there.
Thennnnnnn I got Sandrock as another bad financial decision, but he’s very special. When I was 9 I built one of those ungraded kits, of Sandrock. No tools, no real knowledge of anything. It’s long gone by now but I remember being very proud and loving him very, very much. Building the MG of him was a very emotional experience and I feel a deep comfort from him being in my life. Being able to look over and see Sandrock standing there... it’s a little surreal.
And speaking of emotional experiences.
A few years ago, I took interest in how beautiful the GP-04 was. Of course my interest was sparked by my lovely Madnug, but I was surprised how much I wound up loving his origin Gundam. And I was disappointed that, well, nobody cares about it, and there was not a lot of crap for me to throw my money at. I didn’t believe myself remotely capable of constructing any Gunpla kit back then, so my choices were either an SD kit or a $250 resin statue, in order to have GP04 stuff. So, I bought the SD kit. Put him together - again, without tools - and he stayed like that for a long time. Only this year did I start customizing him into Madnug, and I’m so, so happy with how he looks.
I almost ordered the R100 Gerbera as my first kit, but I was afraid. I didn’t want to mess any part of him up. I didn’t trust myself. So I thought I’d get at least one kit first. My stupid ass started with MG Fenice R, which turned out fine (I only broke one part of her that was easily fixed, I’d accidentally cut of a peg where a funnel needed to be mounted. That is hidden inside her shoulder. Like.. who cares).
But then I got sort of addicted and kept having fun building all these other ones. Long story short, I broke down about a month ago and ordered him on amazon. He was going to take forever to get here, and had no tracking information. I build Flame, Knight Unicorn, and Sandrock in the time I waited for him, pretty much out of sheer anxiety/to hold me over.
So then he finally showed up, this past Thursday. I put him together entirely on Friday - I build all of him except his backpack unit at work, then constructed the latter at aforementioned friend’s house before we went to see A Star War. Now he’s done except for his weapons. My coworker watched me put him all together, and begged me not to build his weapons until work on Monday, so he could see them in person. He is fascinated by Gerbera’s big, big gun, lol.
Several times while building Gerbera, I had to stop and take an emotional break to get giddy and split my face in half with a wild grin. Giggling was often involved. I was so happy to be building my precious Gerbera. I can barely handle having him here. I keep staring at him while I’m typing this. This Gundam is just so stupidly special to me... and it’s weird, dumb, and complicated to explain why. He’s just a perfect little sunflower that fits so wonderfully into my heart. Idk. I love him.
Gunpla........ has made me very happy. I’ve been struggling a lot lately with my depression and this has been a very good outlet. I’m still in the ‘Getting by’ phase, day by day, but every little smile that breaks out when I look at my Gundams is helpful. Every nice picture that I take of Fenice that gives me a bit of pride helps. Every nice comment I get on my amateur customizations helps.
Thank you, everyone, for your support.

If I had a Build Fighters self-insert, which I don’t, I would be a weird idiot who barely knows what I’m doing and only uses SD Gunpla. I’d use SDGF Zero Custom, and maybe a conspicuously SD GP-04.
Since Italiano Bastardarini already uses Wing (Feni) I’ll just have to use a smaller, more prettier Wing.
#i kept whispering VIVA ITALIA while building Feni#and my one coworker mentioned he was italian and i wasl ike#*holds her up* 'look she's an italian flag'#and he was like OH! WOW. SHE REALLY IS.
