Kissing eddie just as you’re both about to get out of the car and now he’s got a problem cause he’s hard, and all your friends are waiting for you and you’re both a little late and Eddie we really gotta hurry up! what’s the issue? and the poor boy is bright red to his neck over how gone he is on you
ty for requesting :D ps: i'm gnawing at the bars of my enclosure over this prompt –– when eddie's about to leave for a show, you make sure he knows exactly what he's missing out on (established relationship, st4 canon divergence, allusions to smut 18+ | 1k)
“How do I look?” Eddie wonders aloud as you trail down the creaking porch steps behind him. He plants his feet on the gravel driveway and spins on the heel of his sneaker to face you –– already bare-faced and clad in your pretty PJs for the night, a striking contrast to the lead guitarist of Corroded Coffin standing before you.
You pause on the second-to-last step and reach for his face. Eddie leans instinctively into your warm touch as you swipe your thumbs under his eyes, gently smudging his dark liner a bit more.
“Like a rockstar,” you answer with a proud smile.
Eddie scrunches his nose sheepishly in response, ‘cause he has nowhere to hide with you cradling his blushing face like this. He’s still not immune to the way you look at him, even after all this time. “You’re just sayin’ that,” he mumbles, kicking a lone rock with the toe of his show.
You hum in agreement as your hands fall from his face. “Yeah. ‘Cause it’s true.”
“To you, maybe,” Eddie scoffs, trying hard to ignore the pang of anxiety in his chest. “No one else seems to think so.”
He never used to be nervous performing before Vecna tried to kill him. It was the world that was scared of Eddie Munson, not the other way around –– until it nearly ended, anyway. Now, just leaving the house is enough to induce a panic attack. A part of him is always distantly fearful that a stranger’s face will turn out to be the dark wizard’s, back to life and hiding in plain sight again.
“Hey,” you scold, only partially playful. “I think the crowd of five drunks who watch you perform every Tuesday would agree with me.”
Despite the ice-cold apprehension making his limbs feel numb, Eddie manages a breathy chuckle. “You’re right. We could bomb, and they’d still act like we were playing Madison Square Garden or something.”
You soften then, as though sensing his worry. “You’re not gonna bomb, Eds. You guys are gonna do great. Just like always.”
“Sure you can’t come?” Eddie wonders quietly, blinking up at you with a pair of chocolate button eyes that are hard to say no to.
“You know I can’t… I have an early morning tomorrow,” you coo sympathetically, fighting back a smile when the boy’s rosy bottom lip juts in a pout. “But I’ll be right here when you get back, okay? And I’ll make sure to heat up dinner when you’re on your way. So you have something to soak up the alcohol and adrenaline with.”
You tilt your cheek to your shoulder, squinting suspiciously when Eddie’s frown curls into a cheeky grin. He reaches for you with a pair of ringed hangs and squeezes at your clothed hips. “Just like a good little housewife, huh?” he croons mischievously.
You roll your eyes at him ‘cause you’re not a housewife by any means.
You live in a trailer with his uncle, for one. And you work five days a week, for another. Besides, you’re not even his wife, which you think is usually the first step. (You have no idea Eddie’s already picked a ring out for you. Or that he plans on keeping that a secret until he plays enough shows to afford a house).
You decide to humor him, anyway.
“Sure,” you monotone with a slow nod.
Eddie’s grin widens.
“C’mon on, Munson! We’re gonna be late!” Jeff lisps from the passenger side window of the van. The rusted tin can is parked a ways down the drive, packed to the brim with all their band equipment like a perfect game of Tetris.
You lean forward to press a chaste kiss to his mouth.
“Wear that dress I like when I get back?” Eddie murmurs lowly.
You hum with your lips pursed to the side of your mouth, pretending to be deep in thought. “Hmm… I was kinda thinkin’ about wearing nothing, actually,” you answer, shrugging innocently. “You know, for easy access and whatnot.”
Eddie warms all over. His wild head starts to swim at the visual –– one he’s seen a hundred times before that he’s not quiet sure he’ll ever get over. “Have mercy…” the boy mumbles under his breath.
“Just try not to think about it too much while you’re gone…” you lilt knowingly, smoothing both your hands up and over the lapels of his leather jacket. “All alone… Naked in our bed… Trying to get myself off while I wait for you…”
Eddie stares at you with heavy, lidded eyes. He can’t take the chocolates of them off your lips as they curl into a mischievous, tightlipped smile. “How ‘bout I just stay home?” he offers lowly.
A resounding honk blares from the van in a wordless answer.
Gareth leans out the driver’s side window, face screwed and sandy curls wild. “C’mon, Eddie!” the boy yells like an impatient younger brother. “Put your dick in your pants already so we can go!”
Eddie’s head swivels back to face you again, chest deflating with a grieving sigh.
“You have to go,” you tell him, soft and sympathetic, as you press another kiss to his pout. “Have fun, honey,” you croon and step back from him –– knowing exactly what you’re doing as you trek back up the wobbly wooden porch steps.
Before you shut the front door behind you, you flash the boy a curt wave and a pretty smile. It takes a world of strength to keep from following behind you.
In a perfect world, Eddie would already have the door bolted shut with you pressed against it by now. He’d have your oversized shirt balled up at your ribs and your shorts pulled down to your ankles and his mouth licking over your pretty cotton panties.
He shakes his head in a physical attempt to remove the sinful thoughts from his brain as he stalks back to the van. He keeps his head bowed as he goes, trying to hide his reddened cheeks behind his wild curls. Gareth watches from the window as Eddie tugs at the crotch of his jeans, trying to un-strangle his hard cock like a teenager.
The boy leans between the front seats as Eddie climbs into the driver’s side, slamming the screeching door shut behind him. “You’re pathetic,” Gareth teases through a fit of boyish laughter.
“Shut up,” Eddie grumbles.

I was at the studio record for tonight's taskmaster episode, so full debrief below the readmore! (Spoilers for TM S18E5)
[Some things may be paraphrased as I wrote it all down immediately after the episode record.]
ARRIVAL AND SEATING
We got to the studio at about 10:15am, there were approx 10 people there already
The staff didn't turn up till 10:30 so we made our own queue
Staff moved our queue and told everyone with cars in the visitor carpark to move them, they join the queue in their cars while people on foot queued in the rain
Lots of waiting around, then the queue was moved, then a quick security check, then wristbands and more waiting around. There were not enough toilets. There were snacks and drinks available to buy but no "real" food.
We started moving again at 12:45.
The first 22 people got orange wrist bands and we were put in the gallery! (11 on each side)
The gallery itself is only as deep as the chairs, it's very much only decorated on the sides that the camera can see.
The decoration behind us was plasticy and painted gold, kind of like paper plate material.
The wall was painted with the same pattern as the sides, but super small, gold on red, but looked less neat than the big stuff which is more visible on camera.
Underneath us was bare wood and we were in a metal frame.
My friend went to the loo and said Greg and Alex's seats arrived on the back of a trailer and stopped at the zebra crossing for her.
The studio was much smaller than I expected, 5 or so rows of seats in the front section, literally within arms reach of the seat 1 contestant. This looked like it was all people with a red wristband, who were 2nd after orange.
The back section was bigger, I'd say maybe 8 rows deep? And wider.
There was some reshuffling of seats near the end, some people who were right at the back were put in the front row at the last minute (probably some priority people didn't turn up?)
I don't think anyone's view was obstructed by cameras, but the left gallery couldn't see the contestants' faces, while the right gallery (including me) couldn't see Greg & Alex's faces.
(I did see Alex's shoulders sort of hunch every time he got the giggles though which was incredibly cute)
INTRO
Mark the warm up man got people shouting out & making noise (he comes back at every ad break, and every set change break)(some of the breaks he asked if we had any questions about the filming of TM and answered them to the best of his ability)(one time we played audience tinder, which is like audience guess who but based on 1 single person's romantic requirements (man, single, over 23, under 30. This got everyone out, and mark announced that was why she was still single.)
Mark brought Greg on
Someone shouted happy birthday
Greg: it's not today, it was on the 14th. I'm 55. Today it's ............................... It was.................
Someone in the Audience: it was on Tuesday!
[Note today is thursday]
Greg: At a certain age you stop counting birthdays. I woke up and realised I was closer to 60 than 50, And genuinely the first thing I said when I woke up, alone in my bedroom, was "blink"
Greg brought Alex on
Alex: I have some bad news
Greg: oh no
Alex: you're actually 56
Greg: oh what did I say?
Alex: 55
Greg: oh I was in a good mood and you've put me in a bad mood now
Greg asked the audience for help with Alex's improv
Alex was told to come up with a Pop song about corn
This was misheard by Greg as porn
They decided on corny porn
Greg gives Alex a beat
Alex [singing]: Sometimes a man gets lonely
*Greg and audience piss themselves, Alex breaks*
Greg: I thought I'd give you some time there to come up with a rhyme for lonely
Alex: oh I'm going for an ABCB rhyming scheme
[Slightly paraphrased in places because I'm not perfect]
[Greg beat starts up again]
Alex, Singing:
Sometimes a man gets lonely
And that man is Alex Horne
all his friends are out for the evening
So he opens his corny porn
[verse 2]
*Something about Cracker jokes*
*something about a boy and a girl*
*[I forgot this line]*
And then they have full sex.
(((If anyone was there and remembers these lines I will happily make edits)))
Greg: I thought you were going to shy away from the sex
Alex: oh, no, didn't shy away
Greg: they have legitimate sex
Alex: well they do love each other, so it's legitimate sex
Alex: But it wasn't being filmed
Alex: It was actually behind a closed door
Greg: so it wasn't porn at all
Contestants are introduced to the audience by greg before they all sit down
Andy zaltzman is wearing a snooker outfit, with cue and chalk. He is told (by Greg, who was told by the greenroom) to put the cue over his left shoulder so the cameras can see him. He says the producer told him to wear it over his right just before the show. Greg relays this to the greenroom, and then says [to greenroom] "bit harsh", and [to Andy] "he called you a lying cunt"
Babatunde aleshe
Emma sidi
Jack Dee
Rosie jones
The Makeup team come on, there's some admin stuff (fire safety etc)
Then it starts properly, they play the introduction on the big screen
Greg: A man who told me fire fighters are the ¿Least ?? ? Of all the emergency services.
Alex: I was most scared if this one because if my house burns down...
Greg: Well you should stop telling me these things
BANTER SECTION
Alex: The group chat is popping off
The taskmaster WhatsApp, we've had some questions
Alex: Question from Brian. Actually, a lot of people asked this. Are Greg and Alex twins?
Alex: Someone else asked if I was ok
Greg: yes I always wonder that
Alex: I had an ECG and felt better
Alex: an EGG
Alex: I had an egg.
Greg: *Groans*
Greg: You do it on purpose. I was in a good mood. You've put me in a foul mood. Is that really all you've prepared? Someone thinks we're twins, and you've had an egg.
PRIZE TASK
Thing that's best when you add water
Baba, trying to defend jelly to greg: "You know when your mums just like-"
Greg: "sorry I'm going to stop you there, it sounded like you called my mum a slag
*General confusion*
[They Continue]
Baba: you know when your mums a slag
*Everyone in the audience heard it this time*
Baba confused, everyone else pissing themselves
*Repeat multiple times, everyone getting more and more hysterical*
Baba: you know when Your Mum *Says*...
Greg, holding his ear piece: How likely is it the slag comments are going to be left in? The gallery says 100%.
TASK 1: Alex is a robot, direct to charging port, gibe an instruction every 10 seconds, robot wont follow instructions with o or e
Emma makes sexual moans when she sees the robot
Greg replays VT multiple times, she calls it "Platonic arousal"
Long discussion about mascots and those tall wobbly dancing tubes, and Mr blobby
Emma loves them all but they have to move
Greg brings up a butcher mascot which was a pig cutting parts of itself off, but it doesn't move so Emma isn't interested. If it moved she'd like it
Andy: Coming from a Jewish background, would the pig cutting parts of itself off be kosher?
Emma: no! [Pause for laughter/apology/embarrassment] sorry, no because pork isn't kosher. It's the trotters.
Someone: if the pig cuts its own trotters off then maybe it could be kosher
Greg: snip snip snip, out it goes
[There's a submarine in the garden?!!]
Emma, during task: walk lady
Emma, in studio: I changed it to walk by lady, I realised I could say by
Greg: Bisexual lady?
Emma: I'm not assuming the sexuality of the robot
Lots of "I mean him, not me" from Alex when talking about the robot
Rosie points out she got a lap dance from the robot
Emma: "Oh robot - we've found it!" (Or similar)
Greg takes the piss multiple times throughout the ep
TASK 2: make the strongest smell and put it in this jar. *Jar is sealed for 3-4 months until the studio record*
Rosie's sounds very very ominous, everyone is scared
On the back of the task it says anyone who is unwilling to smell their own jar gets 0 points
They talk about how that's definitely backfired on Rosie
Rosie: I'm actually quite excited, I want to smell it
Greg makes Alex read something out
Alex: oh, strange, this one is handwritten. Alex also has to smell the jars or Greg will kick him in the gooch
Emma pretends hers smells super strong, Greg describes it as mild
Baba: marmite and coffee, makes his eyes bulge
Rosie's is hugely disappointing. She repeats how disappointed she is. Greg doesn't believe her until he smells it and says he is also disappointed.
Andy's makes all the contestants gag (sardines, vinegar, huge mix of random crap, detergent, soap,)
Alex: I was surprised you went with things that remove stubborn smells
*The smells waft up to the balcony and to some of the front row. *
Jack's makes Greg lightheaded and have to pause for a bit (air freshener)
Later, in one of the breaks:
Audience member: why didn't Alex smell the smells?
Audience ooh and mutter
Mark: very good question
[Alex did not then smell the smells :( ]
TASK 3: Present a heartwarming local news story
[Team task!]
Rosie and Jack
Andy, Emma and Baba
The intro to this gets played again because they did some smelly pickups while the table was still out, and then packed it up again, and by that time everyone had forgotten what the task was.
Greg says Andy looks younger as Isabella the old lady than as himself
*Greg talks shit about both their attempts*
Greg says he thinks they both did really well
Alex: *do* you think that? It didn't sound like that
Greg says Emma could genuinely be a newsreader (Emma: middle class), then there was a whole section where Rosie and Greg talk about how alluring/hot Fiona Bruce is
STUDIO TASK: catapult parachute target
During set up we could see Alex on the side of the stage waiting for everything to be ready, we waved at him from the balcony and he waved back with confused but happy smile
The edge of the target was literally 50cm away from the front row. Front section were warned to 'watch out'
Mark: I wasn't sure I was allowed to mention it being a catapult
*Shadow of a catapult clearly visible through the screen*
Baba tried to shoot one really flat and it flew straight into the audience (3rd row!)
He immediately sat on the losers bench before the others had even gone
Emma's doesn't unfurl and goes 2nd row of the audience
Rosie Vs jack at the end: Rosie playing up the cerebral palsy deliberately to put jack off, stuff like "you wouldn't beat a disabled girl", and "I have cerebral palsy", "I didn't breathe for 17 minutes"
Jack really struggled to get his last shot because he was bent over laughing
It looked like a draw, Greg had to adjudicate
When he called a win for jack, Rosie pretended she was really struggling to walk over to the losers bench
After they'd all been:
Alex: I'm really glad they all flew. In the rehearsals we had loads of crap goes
Greg: How do you feel jack?
Jack: Guilty
Greg: And how do you feel Rosie?
Rosie: *Big fake sad face (which kept breaking)* "...*tiny broken voice* sad :( " *Followed by instant giggles*
TIE BREAK: how many days old will Alex be on Christmas day 2024? Have to be looking into his eyes the whole time
Emma Vs jack, Emma got very close, jack just gave up. Rosie actually got the closest (within 70? Days)
END:
And we've learned that my mum's a slag
We were told it was the first time ever all 5 contestants have won the first 5 episodes
*Contestants leave*
Man with crutches in audience [to rosie]: before this I thought you were so sweet (ominous pause) but now I think you're *wonderful* [Rosie hugged him!]
Greg: we all thought you were going to say something horrible. I was getting ready to put Alex between us
PICKUPS
Greg and Alex do lots of repeats for previous fuck ups and make lots more fuck ups.
*Talking to empty chairs*
Greg keeps apologising for how long it's all taking
Greg: we all want to go home
Greg: We're going to do a physical bit and you're going to absolutely love it. You'll know it when you see it.
*At the end of one of the pickups they both turn in their chairs and look at the blank screen. Audience love it*
Greg gets told by the gallery to repeat ¿papas meat?
Greg:shall I do it sexier? How much sex do you want? 8/10 sex?
Alex: you sound like Rachel
*They do a massive exaggerated turn to the screen*
Greg: I overcooked that one
They repeat the shakespeare bit 2 or 3 times. Greg says every time he's asked to do it again he'll ham it up more.
Alex: I'm really hungry, are you really hungry?
They did some extra "taskmaster the live experience" advertisment filming
Greg notices a really big man in the audience and asks him how tall he is (6'5") and then gets very distracted by his "brethren" and repeatedly flubs his lines
Greg: What are you doing?
Greg: Look at me you grubby little ferret
[This was repeated about 5 times because Greg kept fucking up, and then when he got through it Alex immediately fucked up the next line]
Greg said we were the best audience so far (he also said he wasnt lying or exaggerating. If anyone else has been to one, does he say this to evey audience?)
Got let out at 5pm
[Extra things that I can't remember when they happened]
Alex: When we watch telly together
Greg: ... Because we are actually lovers *puts hand on alex*
Greg: Or so some corners of the internet would have you believe
During breaks, makeup people come in and remove the lint from Greg and Alex's jackets, Alex gets a sticky roller, Greg gets a little brush
They dab Greg's head as well
Greg: I like making people on the internet angry
Overall a delightful day out, 10/10 experience, would recommend!

Prompt Day 5: On the Road Again
Word Count: 997
Rating: G
Pairing: None
CW: None
Summary: Wayne joins the band on the road for a couple of days
@corrodedcoffinfest
Wayne really hadn’t wanted to, but here he was.
Since Corroded Coffin’s tour began, the guys had tried to get Wayne to join them on the road for a few shows. The older man always turned them down, insisting that they’d have more fun without him, and that tour bus living wasn’t for him.
But, just like it had been from the day he was born, Wayne would do anything to make his nephew happy. So, he told them he’d come on tour with them for one weekend. Two days only, no ifs, ands, or buts.
The shows that lined up with the weekend Wayne chose were Orlando and Tampa, and Wayne thanked God it wasn’t the summer. Never mind dealing with the weather, Wayne worried the heat would make the tour bus smell worse than it probably already did.
“Wanna visit the Mouse while you’re here?” Gareth teased when they picked Wayne up from the airport.
“I sat in front of kids who were headed to Disney –I’ve heard enough about that damn rat to last the rest of my life.”
The show that night was in a nice-sized venue, but like most of the venues on this tour, it was standing room only. That wasn’t going to work for Wayne. Luckily, there was a sound booth towards the back of the crowd with a chair Wayne could comfortably watch the show from. Or maybe just watch the show, Wayne thinks as he eyes the hard-looking plastic seat.
The music was even louder than when Wayne would swing by to pick Eddie up from rehearsal at Gareth’s place. The audience only added to the noise. That was good for the band, he knew, but it was also grating on his nerves.
Eddie belonged on that stage, though. Wayne watched his nephew work the crowd, never missing a note or lyric. He assumed for the lyrics, anyway. Wayne couldn’t hear Eddie clearly through the speakers, the bass drowning out his voice in every song.
But as he watched the show, watched Eddie effortlessly play his music, Wayne knew this was exactly where the kid was meant to be. The stage was his home just as much as that one-bedroom trailer back in Hawkins.
Seeing Eddie up on a stage felt so natural and right. But the rest of the night’s events were some of the wildest Wayne’s ever seen. The number of people waiting between the backstage door and the bus left him speechless. Security officers kept them at bay, but the cacophony of screams made Wayne think he’d landed himself in the middle of a riot.
The guys took it all in stride, though. They were sweaty and tired, but beamed at their fans as they basked in the attention.
About halfway to the tour bus, a woman in a modified red Corroded Coffin tank top lifted her shirt up, flashing the band as they passed by.
Wayne looked to his nephew and friends for their reactions. There hardly were any, though. To them, it was something that happened from time to time—it didn’t faze them anymore. But Wayne couldn't help but shake his head as he kept walking.
“Jesus Christ,” he mumbled under his breath.
When they finally made it onto the tour bus, Wayne felt like he escaped a war zone. The roar from the crowd outside could still be heard, but it was mostly muffled.
“Woo!” Eddie cheered. Using both hands, he rubbed over his face to get any excess sweat off.
“How’d ya like it?” Jeff asked as he walked towards the mini fridge. He pulled out two cans of beer and handed one to the older man.
“Was loud,” Wayne said as he popped open the can. “But you guys look real good up there.”
Jeff slapped a hand on Wayne’s shoulder in thanks.
“So, old man,” Eddie said as he plopped down on the couch, “wanna party?”
Even the mere question made Wayne feel a hundred years old. Party? His internal clock was all messed up, trying to adjust to not being on the night shift. Right now, the only one Wayne wanted to party with was a bed.
“Boy, you must’ve lost your damn mind,” his uncle answered him.
The guys chuckled from behind Wayne, and Eddie looked up with an amused smile.
“I’m messing with you. After a show we just kinda wind down for a bit then hit the sack. Have a beer, eat something, and just bullshit for a while.”
“Too fucking exhausted for anything else,” Gareth added.
Wayne sat down on the bench situated next to the dining table.
“I might not even make it through that whole party, but it sounds good to me.”
The next day was the same thing, just a new city. Same uncomfortable chair for Wayne, bass drowning Eddie’s voice out, screaming audience members that swarmed wherever the band would be. But there was one thing that made everything more than worth it.
“Ed? Can I talk to you for a minute?” Wayne asked after the show in Tampa, while Jeff was in the bus shower, and Gareth and Frank attempted to pop a bag of popcorn without burning it.
“What’s up?”
Wayne had never been an emotional man, especially on the outside. He usually just mumbled and hoped it conveyed the message.
“I, uh,” Wayne started, slipping his hands into his pockets. “Watching you be that rockstar up on stage is…it’s something that you always wanted. And you went for it and look at you now. You put your mind to it, worked hard, and it paid off. Eddie, I—I’m really proud of ya, son.”
“Thanks, Wayne.”
Eddie was equally as awkward with emotions; even though Wayne’s words touched him almost to the point of tears, Eddie wasn’t sure how to express it. Before he overthought it, Eddie stepped forward and hugged him.
Wayne wasted no time in embracing him back.
“Thanks, Wayne,” Eddie repeated. “For everything.”

Wayne Adopts Robin | pt 2
[part 1]
Before anything else, Wayne needs to call Eddie.
Robin's still curled up on the couch, now barely visible under his jacket. Eddie's at band practice at Tony's place and has been for most of the day; there's still a few hours 'til he expects him home, but Wayne's aware that he might not be in the most... sound of mind.
'Band practice', Wayne has learned, covers anything and everything related to spending time with the band, whether they play or not. With no current upcoming performances, they're usually just hangouts, and hangouts that often have Eddie coming home red-eyed and giggly.
He doesn't mind it. He does think that if Eddie comes home stoned to find a random girl in their trailer he might have an aneurysm.
The number comes to him easily enough. Tony's Dale's kid, God rest his soul, and the phone number is burned into his memory from long-ago fishing trips.
The phone rings once before a voice answers. Linda, Dale's wife. A nice woman, known to be a gossip. They exchange pleasantries, then Linda's yelling for Tony to pass the phone to Eddie, and the background noise changes.
Tony, he can hear, is telling Eddie that he's calling, and Eddie, who is definitely stoned, answers eloquently with "Wha?"
"Dude, the phone."
"Huh? No thanks."
There's a snort, and someone else cackles. Wayne's pretty sure it's Jeff.
"It's your uncle, man." Tony's voice is higher-pitched than usual. Ah, to be a teenager again. "Mom's put it through for you. Answer... the... phone."
There's some rustling, and then—
"Wayne!" Eddie all but shouts. "Pleasant eve, my good sir!"
There's a giggle, then someone in the background says, "Oh, god, he's gone medieval again."
"Eddie?" He hesitates, glancing back to where Robin's sleeping. He lowers his voice. "You okay, boy?"
"Uncle Wayne, I could not be more magnificent." Another rustle and a quiet thud. Wayne dreads to think what's happening. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"
"Ed," he starts, then stops, shifting. What even should he say? He needs to tell him about Robin being here, but as he glances back to her sleeping form, he can already feel that her presence ain't gonna be temporary. If her mom's kicked her out, she won't have anywhere to go, and he'll be damned if he lets a kid end up shivering on the streets. "You think you'd be okay with a sister?"
The other end is quiet. Then there's a loud thump, an even louder groan, and an explosion of laughter from presumably the rest of the band.
"Not soft," Eddie mumbles. "Fuckin— imposter rug."
Wayne clears his throat.
"You fucking moron," a voice chips in, feminine this time, which means it's Felicity. "That rug is almost as flat as your ass."
Eddie squawks indignantly. Wayne sighs, a small smile tugging at his lips despite it.
"Eddie." He waits for Eddie's answering hum. "Did you hear me?"
"Nope," he says, cheery as ever. "What did you say?"
"I said, how would you feel about havin' a—a sister of sorts around?"
There's a beat of silence. He's about to repeat himself, when—
"You're PREGNANT?" Eddie shouts.
Quieter, Wayne can hear Jeff's voice, "Wait, isn't he talking to Uncle Wayne?"
"No, Eddie—"
"YOU SLY DOG! YOU DIDN'T USE PROTECTION? AFTER ALL THE LECTURES YOU GAVE ME ABOUT IT?"
"Alright, that's enough, buddy." Jeff's calm tone takes over, growing louder a moment later. "Hi, Uncle Wayne. Uh, don't mind Eddie, he's..." There's a pause in which he seems to be trying to find the right words.
Eddie's voice booms again, far too close to the receiver. "Jeff, Jeff! Tell Wayne I want to name her Arwen!"
"... I don't know what he is," Jeff finishes. "Um, he'll be fine before he goes home, I promise. We, ah—We didn't expect your call."
"It's fine, son." Wayne stifles his own laugh. "I'll wait until he's home. You, uh, enjoy your night now."
"Yes, sir," Jeff says politely. Distantly, he can hear the sounds of a scuffle and more giggling.
Wayne hangs up, shaking his head fondly. He only hopes that Eddie does sober up before he gets home, or the conversation's going to be very difficult.
He's gonna need another coffee.

Part 1 Part 2 AO3
“Shit. Things move fast in this timeline, don’t they?”
Eddie turned his head and froze, staring wide eyed at the third figure standing next to them.
It was him, he was older and wearing glasses but it was Steve. He was greyer than Eddie’s future self, with a haircut that looked almost the exact same as Future-Robin’s and currently distractingly bare-chested, ripping up a cotton t-shirt into makeshift bandages with a sweater thrown over his shoulder.
He wasn’t as muscular as his twenty year old self, but still devastatingly handsome, still strong with the same smattering of chest hair and a simple gold band on his ring finger.
Yeah.
He’d fuck fifty-something year old Steve.
“C’mon. Battle vest off. We gotta switch those out.”
Eddie had to drag his eyes away from Future-Steve’s chest and back up to his face as he spoke, immediately going red when he was caught. His Steve rolled his head to the side, only sparing his future self a glance before nodding and starting to shrug his way out of the denim.
Eddie and Future-Steve reached out to help. “Careful. Mind his back.” They took the weight of the denim off Steve’s body and Eddie tucked it under his arm.
He ran his fingers down Steve’s arm before grasping his hand as Future-Steve dropped to his knees to start undoing the bandages wound around his waist and oh boy Eddie should not be thinking the kind of fucked up things he was thinking right now.
“You ready? This is gonna suck ass.”
Steve nodded. “Yeah.” He breathed. “Just get it over with.” He pushed his face into Eddie’s neck with a groan as the bandages were quickly peeled off and bit down on the collar of his leather jacket when the new bandages were mercilessly pulled tight.
Eddie gripped at the back of Steve’s head with his free hand while his other hand was being crushed in Steve’s grip.
“It’s okay. It’s okay. You’re doing so good, baby. Just a little more.” He whispered into Steve’s hair, not really giving a singular fuck at that moment, trying to talk him through until it was over.
“Alright. I have enough fabric left over for your arms but not enough for your back I’m afraid.”
Future-Steve got to his feet again and began to wind the remnants of the cotton shirt around Steve’s biceps.
“It’s fine. Don’t worry about it. I’m fine.” Steve protested, but didn’t pull away. Future-Steve rolled his eyes and put his hands on his hips once he was done, muttering “So that’s what it’s like to be on the other side.”
Eddie helped Steve back into his battle vest, placing the weight gingerly over his shoulders, trying not to irritate the road rash over his back. He glanced back over to find Steve’s future counterpart watching him closely with tender eyes.
“God, look at you.” He reached up and tugged at one of Eddie’s curls. “You’re so young.”
If this is what Steve looked like in the future…
If this is how he looked at him?
No wonder his future self was still pining.
Eddie had to avert his gaze for his own sanity, trying to fight away the redness crawling up his face but it was a futile attempt because his eyes just landed on his grey haired chest again. His chest, his stomach, his scars…
The scars.
Those old long healed scars that he’d already seen in a photo with black lace and-
No.
No fucking way!
“Hey! The kids are on their way to the trailer par-” His future counterpart's voice petered off as he rounded the corner of the stairs and took in the sight in front of him. “Stevie, what is with you getting topless in the Upside-Down? Also what the fuck are you doing here?”
“Ellie called.”
“Of course she did. And you didn’t want to miss the reunion?”
“Didn’t want to let you get your ass handed to you again.”
Future-Eddie rolled his eyes before bounding down the last few steps and throwing himself into Future-Steve’s arms.
The hug was weird.
Stilted.
Like they were trying to hold back from doing more, which if Eddie's recent revelation was true, was probably to try and save his and Steve’s sanity from the revelation that they were fucking married?!
The rest of the group crashed down the stairs, surrounding Steve to see if he was okay. In the mess of distraction as the two Robin's started interrogating the two Steve's, Eddie grabbed his own time traveller by the upper arm and dragged him out of earshot.
"Ow! What the fuck, man?"
"I need to talk to you because I'm kinda freaking out."
Future-Eddie shook out his arm. "About?"
Eddie leaned his weight onto the wall behind him, thunking his head back a few times before taking a deep breath in.
"Is it him?"
Future-Eddie looked at him, blinking his familiar deep brown eyes and pursing his lips before nodding slowly.
"Oh Jesus." He put his head in his hands. "Oh fuck. How? Why? How?"
"I have no fucking idea, man." His future counterpart shrugged. "I just count my lucky stars."
"How do you keep your hands to yourself?"
"With great difficulty, I assure you. How did you figure it out? Were we really that obvious?"
"No. I, uh- I saw the photo. I didn't see a face but I saw the scars. And," he waved his hand back towards the group where Future-Steve was thankful fully clothed again, "the scars."
"Ahh… shit. Sorry about that. Spoilers, I guess? But you two already seem to be moving faster than we were on our go around."
"Really?"
"Yeah, man. We danced around each other until Halloween."
"Hey, hi, hello there Double-Trouble. We need to head out if we're gonna get to Forest Hills on time." Future-Steve leaned his elbow on his husband's (what the fuck) shoulder.
Eddie shook his head and tried to get his brain back online. "Why are we going there?"
Steve's smile was just as heart melting thirty-seven years in the future as it was now and Eddie wasn't sure how he'd survive.
"The kids are busting you guys out. And our own exit strategy is there too."
"What is our exit strategy?"
"Ellie said we'd know it when we see it."
Future-Eddie rolled his eyes. "Cryptic."
There weren't enough bikes for all of them so Eddie watched as his future self giddily sat on the bike seat in what was a pathetically transparent excuse to wrap his arms and legs around his husband as Future-Steve pedalled.
Eddie was almost jealous he hadn't thought of it himself except for the fact that his Steve's waist was chewed up to shit. So Steve sat behind Future-Robin, sniggering with her as they cycled, swapping out halfway through so his Steve was pedalling and his Robin was perched on the handlebars.
The gate in the ceiling of his trailer pulsed grotesquely, a thin film of something was stretched over the opening, turning his stomach.
He shoved every thought of Chrissy into the back of his mind.
Something pushed against the gate, poking through, causing their group to jump back but the future trio remained calm as though this was expected.
What wasn't expected was the competing looks of irritation, exasperation, confusion and pride that passed through all three faces at what they saw above.
"What the hell are you three doing here?!" Future-Steve called up towards the gate.
"Do you think you can just run off on some world saving mission without us finding out?" A woman's voice called through followed by a scoff. "Honestly, do you even remember who you're dealing with, dad?"
"Dad?" Steve whispered next to him and before anyone could stop him, he'd darted forward to stare up through the portal, followed quickly by the rest of the group.
Eddie looked up and saw three girls, his girls, his daughters standing in a patch of grass staring up at all of them wide eyed.
"Woah, you two really did used to go all in on the hair, huh?" The one he recognised as Cassie said, a cheeky smirk on her face. "I mean it's one thing seeing it in photos, it's another seeing it in person."
"Hey, watch it, Little Star. It's good hair." Eddie's future self scowled, pointing up towards them.
Cassie rolled her eyes. "Never said it wasn't, pops."
Eddie could feel hig group's eyes on him, flitting between himself, Steve and the girls above. Steve's gaze was burning into the side of his head but he couldn't look away, not from this, not from his future.
"The three of you still haven't answered me. What are you doing here? How did you even find out?" Steve’s future self had his hands on his hips again.
The oldest girl, Rhea, looked like she was fit to burst, practically clamping her hand over her mouth and vibrating with excitement.
The middle girl, Poppy, shrugged the tow rope off her shoulder, holding it up. "Aunt Ellie called. We're your exit strategy."
Future Steve and Eddie glanced at each other.
"We're gonna have words with her once all this is over."
"She didn't have any other option! You three were stuck and everyone else is already at the Lab!"
"What?!” Future-Steve shouted. “Fuck. We have to go."
"Shit. Okay." Eddie's future counterpart grabbed him by the shoulders and pulled him away from the portal before enveloping him into a crushing hug.
"Listen to me, everything's going to be alright. It's gonna be shit hard sometimes and you're gonna have to fight for it. You're gonna have to fight so hard but it's worth it. I promise you. It's all so worth it. You're gonna be okay, do you hear me? You're gonna be okay."
Eddie looked at his future self and thought back to everything he’d learned so far. How he’d spoken to him, how he’d talked about his kids, how he’d talked about his husband, about Steve. He wrapped his arms around his waist tightly, reciprocating the hug and whispering, "I think I would've liked to have a dad like you."
"That was the goal." Future-Eddie squeezed him tight, before eventually pulling back. He gave his hair one last ruffle before he moved onto his next round of goodbyes, Future-Steve taking his place.
“It's kinda trippy seeing you so young again.” He said, pulling Eddie against that chest.
Oh Christ, he wasn’t able for this. Yeah, the guy was in his mid-fifties and married (to him, what a mindfuck), but he was still a painfully attractive man.
“It’s kinda trippy seeing you grey.” He really tried not to stick his nose into his neck but it was a damn losing battle when it was right there.
He felt Future-Steve laugh against him before he pulled back. “Still look good though?”
“Shit. Yeah, you still look good.” Eddie grinned.
“Hey, you know I- he- he’ll always be there for you, right?”
“I’m starting to.”
Next came the two Robins. Robin’s future self grasped him by the shoulder, turning him a little so his back was to the rest of the group and pulling the two of them into a tight hug.
“Okay little babies. Always use protection, don’t get anyone pregnant, as soon as a company called Google makes itself known, invest. Look forward to your first pride parade together. It’s gonna be wild. Eddie, don’t be so hung up on the semantics of DnD and metal all the time. Robin, babe, relax every so often. Also DnD is kinda fun. I didn’t have to get married to Steve for a safety net, but it was a close call. Eddie, if they do get married, do not buy the yellow suit I know you were planning to try to stick him in.”
Underneath her rambling Eddie could hear frantic whispering behind him from the rest of the group. When he tried to pull out of the hug to look behind, he was tugged back in firmly, keeping him in place.
He raised an awkward hand to pat Future-Robin on the back, confused but relaxing into the hold regardless.
“Uh…” Future-Robin seemed like she was casting around for more things to say. “Cryptocurrencies are a scam. Steve doesn’t have rabies, so you can stop worrying about that, mini me. But maybe watch out for his eyesight. Make sure you put Prima Nocta in the wedding playlist, he’ll lose his mind but it’ll be so funny. There’s a few of the kids that are gonna come to the two of you with some very personal shit and you need to try to handle it like grown-ups but you’ll probably- oh thank god.”
She finally released the two of them, sounding relieved that her rambling was over with.
Eddie and Robin blinked at each other, confused.
“You’re getting eccentric in your old age.” He nudged her.
“Hey!” Future-Robin flicked him on the nose. “Who’re you calling old? Don’t make me put you in a time out, squirt.”
He turned to try to catch the eye of anyone else to impart ‘you seeing this shit’ energy but instead he found Nancy pale faced and angry, resolutely staring at the wall like she wanted to fight it and Steve…
Steve was looking at him like he would disappear at any second. Similarly pale faced but worried and afraid. He found himself immediately gravitating towards him.
“Are you okay?” He asked, just barely touching his fingers to Steve’s wrist.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Don’t worry about me.” Steve tried to laugh it off but it fell painfully flat.
Eddie glanced back at their future counterparts as the tow rope fell through the portal, hanging in mid air.
Freaky.
He looked back at Steve who hadn’t even noticed, still looking at him like he was trying to memorise his face.
“Did they tell you something?”
Steve curled his fist into the lapel of Eddie’s leather jacket, holding on so tight his knuckles went white. Once his hand relaxed, still holding on, but looser this time, Steve’s expression had smoothed out, giving him a small easy smile.
“Just to keep an eye on you. Said you’re a real troublemaker.”
Eddie searched his face. His smile was easy however his eyes were still worried, but he seemed to want to drop the subject. Eddie wanted to pry, he wanted to know exactly what had been said, what had he missed but he didn’t really know Steve yet. He didn’t know if he was reading the situation wrong or if he’d be the type of guy to close off if pushed.
So he didn’t push.
“Sounds like me.”
Steve laughed, though it was really more of a strained exhale. “Yeah.” He muttered. “Sounds like you.” He released his grip on the leather jacket and turned back towards the group who were now gathered around the portal, but stuck close to Eddie's side.
They rejoined everyone and looked up at the three girls. Cassie was hanging off the rope, testing its weight while Rhea and Poppy were hissing at each other.
Rhea still had a hand clamped over her mouth.
“Honey, you look like you’re about to burst.” Future-Steve called out. “What’s eating you?”
"Poppy met a boy!" She blurted out, clamping her hand back over her mouth and immediately being shoved by the sister in question.
"Dude!"
“I’m sorry!”
Future-Steve snapped his head up at the revelation. “Here in Hawkins? A Hawkins boy? Who?!”
“No one-”
“Jacob!” Rhea squeaked through her hand.
“Ugh.” Future-Eddie grimaced. “‘J’ name.”
“What’s his last name? Who’re his parents?”
Poppy crossed her arms. “Why does it matter?”
“Because that’s information I need to know!”
“Why? You gonna stop me from seeing him?”
“I can’t stop you from doing shit but I have a right as your father to grumble about it!”
“Well I don’t know, dad! I didn’t exactly get a family history from him when he was giving us directions!”
“I swear to god.” Future-Eddie ran his hand down his face and turned to his husband. “If we ran hundreds of miles away from Hawkins only for one of our kids to end up back here I’m gonna lose my mind.”
A loud crack sounded through the portal causing the three girls to jump and turn around.
“Holy shit.” They said at the same time.
“What?! What is happening over there, fuck, we’ve got to go, Robin. C’mon, up.” Future-Steve frantically waved his Robin over.
“There’s nothing to break the fall!” She shouted.
“So you better not break anything when you fall.”
“Har-har. Alright,” she called up through the portal, “are you listening Little Miss Cheerleader? You better be there to catch me!”
“I’m a flyer, I don’t catch, I get caught!” Cassie called back. “Keep your knees and elbows loose and try to roll with the momentum!”
“Shit. Okay. Gimme a boost, Steve.”
He hoisted Robin up, practically sending her through the portal on her own without the rope. She tumbled out onto the other side landing with a clumsy roll and a groan, but was uninjured, helped to her feet by Cassie and Rhea.
“That was not as fun this time around! And it’s a longer drop now that the trailer is gone!” She called back up to them.
Eddie turned his eyes back onto his future self. “Why’s the trailer gone?”
He shrugged. “It’s a crime scene. You’ll get set up in a nicer place, don’t worry about it.”
“There’s a lot I seem to be ‘not worrying about’ these days.” He grumbled as his future self clapped him on the shoulder.
“Just wait until you have teenage daughters. See you on the other side, kiddos!” He stepped in front of the tow rope, but instead of creating a bridge with his hands for Future-Eddie to step into, Future-Steve just grabbed him firmly around the hips and effortlessly lifted him upwards.
It really wasn’t the time for it, it really wasn’t the time for it but Eddie suddenly felt the need for some smelling salts or a white lace handkerchief to wave in front of his face or something.
His future self landed with far less grace than Robin had but Cassie did dart out this time to stop him from completely faceplanting.
“Okay.” Future-Steve turned back to them, one hand on the rope. “Be good, kids. Remember what I said, mind the vents, find a different spot for Erica and as soon as he goes through the attic window, get back downstairs and finish it.” He directed the last two statements towards Steve and Nancy before giving a dorky two finger salute and starting to make his climb upwards.
Future-Steve had barely landed (without help, the showoff) back in his own time before there was a gruesome sucking sound the portal began to grow another layer of slime skin, cutting off their future and past selves and severing the tow rope in one fell swoop.
Silence was only able to settle around the four of them for a few seconds before something was pushed back against the portal. With a great squelch the skin was broken again.
Though this time it wasn’t grass and their future selves staring back but the grinning faces of Dustin, Max, Lucas and Erica in the Rightside-Up version of Eddie’s trailer.
Over the next day, they formulated their plan to defeat Vecna. Both Steve and Nancy would occasionally jump in front of a suggestion with a simple explanation of ‘that won’t work’ .
When Eddie and Dustin suggested they act as a distraction for the bats with the most metal concert in the world, both Nancy and Steve shouted a firm ‘No!’ before they could stop themselves.
Eddie wasn’t an idiot, he knew they had been told something that, for whatever reason, hadn’t been shared with him and Robin but now wasn’t exactly the time to pry.
As long as he made it out of this with all his limbs intact he supposed he could let it be.
Setting up the stereo away from the trailer park should have worked in theory. They had plenty of time to turn it on and bike back to the portal, keeping a healthy distance between themselves and danger.
But when the bats descended too quickly and he watched Dustin run inside, expecting Eddie to follow because why wouldn’t he, he took his opportunity to lock the door and draw them away.
By the time the bats dropped and he was able to stumble his way back to the trailer, Dustin had the door broken off its hinges. He was pissed but relieved that Eddie was okay. Yeah, his sides had been pretty badly chewed up but it was nothing worse than what had happened to Steve.
Steve and Nancy, however, were incandescent with rage and panic when they got back and saw him bloodied, only really calming down when both he and Dustin started arguing back, confused and bewildered about why they were acting like someone died when they should be celebrating, considering they’d just confirmed Vecna was definitely gone.
He spent the next month holed up in Steve’s house with Wayne, waiting for his name to be cleared.
Barely a week of that living arrangement had passed before they shared their first kiss, wrapped up in their softest clothes in the middle of a scary movie marathon that neither were really paying attention to.
There were a lot of firsts that night.
It was during a particularly heated argument a couple of weeks later between Eddie and Steve that he learned why Steve was so insistent on taking rigorous care of Eddie’s bites even though his own went mostly neglected.
He learned he had nearly died in the other timeline because of the bites he and got it, he did. But this wasn’t the other timeline, this was their own one.
Memories of their future selves were already starting to slip away piece by piece and Eddie didn’t want to spend the rest of his life dwelling, trying to live up to or keep track of his other self. This was his life and he was going to make mistakes but he was going to make the most of it too.
“Make the most of it with me?” He asked Steve holding out his hand and sitting next to him in what was essentially their bed, guest rooms be damned.
Steve looked down at Eddie’s hand then back up to his eyes before allowing a small smile to crack through his worried expression.
Steve nodded before linking their fingers together.
“Okay.”

It's home. He's home and its late and its dark. he knows he should have been home hours ago, wishes he could have been but work finished late and then one deal ran into another and before he knew it he was an hour and a half from home at 1 in the morning. After the last deal was done Eddie made his way back in his van, eyes red and itchy with the overhwleming desire to close but painfully aware of the distance he had to drive. After a lot of cut corners and questionable driving he was finally pulling up to the trailer.
All he wants to do is sleep but even in his tired state he clocks the light on in the window. Knowing that lights don't just get 'left on' when there are bills to pay and mouths to feed Eddie enters the trailer quietly, hoping that its not an ominous sign. Hoping as well that this isn't the precursor to getting yelled at for being out late and not telling anyone…again.
As silently as he can Eddie pulls the door open and steps in side. So far so good, nobody has started shouting yet but as he turns he sees the lamp glowing beside the couch and can hear the radio on low. Comforting sounds of Eddie's younger years playing Credence Clearwater Revival. It is at this point Eddie catches the figures waiting in the dim light. Wayne at the end of the couch, hot mug of something in his hand. His expression is one Eddie is well used to, concentrated and contemplative, measuring the words he says and actions he takes. He's in his pyjammas but far from sleep. He's angled towards the figure on the couch next to him. The person, only translated into Eddie's head as 'human' after he deciphered half of the mass as blankets and hair, sits hunched over themselves and hugs their own mug in close.
Eddie takes a step forward, makes to sit down as Wayne talks slow and gentle 'Your boy had a bit of a fright son. Thought I'd break out the big guns and show him what we used to do when you first came home'
He doesn't say the rest, doesn't need to. When Eddie came to stay with Wayne the nights were endless. He'd wake himself up in tears, too scared to go find comfort incase he got pushed away but somehow Wayne always knew. Eddie would never be alone in the dark long before the hall light went on and Wayne was knocking at his door, offering hot milk and a distraction. Eventually the routine turned into going over old photo albums of Wayne's 'glory days' and then, the new additions after Eddie's arrival. It quickly became a fail safe for the both of them when the dark nights and silence were too much.
Which is how Eddie ends up here, sat close to the mass, Steve, a hand crept under the blanket that was quickly latched on to. A photo album is sat across Steve's lap and Wayne talks him through the story of his own high school band and then quickly moves on to the photo of Eddie knee deep in mud and arms out stretched ready to pull the photo taker into the mess with him, devious smile on his 10 year old face, a hint of the dungeon master yet to come.
The stories continue, ranging from photos of a young Eddie in rubber boots and a sun dress to Wayne in denim shorts and an awful sunburn as he points a spatula at the camera in a rustic looking kitchen. This ritual calms them all between the quiet laughter and tired gasps of surprise, eventually Steve's shoulders relax and Wayne's voice becomes somehow even more subdued. Eddie is fully leaning into Steve's space and the warmth between the three of them somehow heats the whole trailer.
They are all close to sleep when Eddie takes the album off Steve's lap and manages to force himself to stand, pulling Steve up with him and still swaddled in his blanket. Eddie makes to guide Steveto their bedroom when he's met with resistance. Steve pulls the blanket tighter to himself but shifts his shoulders back, almost as if to brace for a fight when he tilts his head towards Wayne ' Thank you. I- I've never...Just thank you' he's got his back to Eddie but Eddie can hear the crack in his voice, the battle to keep the emotion down, can see the slight tremour in the blanket as Steve works to keep himself together. Its all for nothing when Wayne stands and places a hand on his shoulder before bringing him into a forceful hug 'Son, you never have to thank me'.
Its a moment that Eddie knows will be seared into his heart until the day it stops beating. The two men holding on, however briefly, to each other, both understanding the other person that little bit more and sharing more of their soul in the process.
There's a pause as they separate and Eddie takes Steve's hand tugs him forward and lets him lead the way to the bedroom. Before he turns to follow Eddie catches Wayne's eye and they share a somber smile. Eddie's heart feels like its going to collapse on itself when he thinks about how Wayne doesn't understand the traumas these boys have been through but how that hasn't stopped him from being there for them.
It doesn't go unspoken, this feeling between Eddie and his Uncle. They find time, they always do, where they put their music on and talk in that unhurried way about what they've been doing, catching each other up on their lives and knowing the love is there.
For now, Wayne tilts his head up 'that's a good one you've got there son.' All the endorsement Eddie could ever want, caught in a few words 'now go to him and let me get my bed' its a grumbled statement that has more meaning than can be explained. Eddie gives a mock salute, knowing that the nightmares and stories will be re-hashed when the time is right. But for now the urgency has been tamed and the fire burns low in their hearts.
Before he gets to the kitchen there's a final 'and I need my sleep boy so don't get any ideas' from the couch. 'wouldn't dream of it old man'
#what Wayne doesn’t mention is that Wayne eddie first saw the photo of younger wayne in his band#he gasped so quietly it’s a wonder anyone heard it and said ‘I wanna be like that. I wanna be like /you/‘#Eddie climbs into bed next to Steve and holds on tight as Steve tells him that he looked good in a dress and boots#Eddie just laughs and pulls him close ‘pretty sure it’s look better on you sweetheart’#stranger things#eddie munson#steddie#steve harrington#wayne munson#HELLO I needed to soothe myself after getting very stressed so I tried to write something I hope it’s okay idk I just have#a need to write but nothing to write about

The lingering pre-euphoric feeling of being in Glasto watching and hearing your favorite band live with your most real friends, drinks being poured down your throat like water, and breathing pot smoke like part of the oxygen was magical, it would be hard to forget this year, you recently moved to London for college living in a little flat with your two best friends, and a small puppy that was like your son, staying up late and sleeping until the next day, you had saved up enough for Glasto, all the money that was for the rent ended up in there, but it was worth it, the muddy boots, thick leather jackets, long belts, short skirts, and broken tights, busted knees.
"For fucks sake!" You screamed trying to find a signal in the middle of the field, looking so lost and silly with your arm up high in the sky all stressed up, you had lost your friends after Amy Winehouse went up the stage, and you spend hours trying to find them, and you began to feel worried, and paranoid, the whole day you were stuck together like glue, but then drinks swung one after the other and you were pissed throughout the concerts and suddenly you were alone singing with Amy, somehow you managed to find a spot with one bar of weak signal, you choose to follow that signal until it was getting stronger which let you thru some bushes in the darkness you battled your way out, you walked for a few moments depending on your phone's light for illumination until somehow, you managed to find the camp where everyone who headlined was, you sneaked around when you saw some security walking around the place, you sneaked your way thru some bushes until you found reception again, the trailer that you were hiding behind, for your luck had the door unlocked and you hide from security.
"Shit, shit, shit..." You whispered over and over again, as you tripped over something that knocked you to the table, the moment the lights went on your heart dropped to your stomach as your paths crossed with none other than the boy with a shaggy and short haircut that you've been crazy about for years wearing some denim jeans and a black long sleeve shirt, the one with his face all over your room, you looked for him in magazines and in person he looked just like a normal human.
"Um... excuse me... who are you looking for?" He was alone with his eyes a bit swollen and his hair made a mess as if he had just woken up and was trying to decipher wether he was dreaming you or not, you didn't realize how stupid you were by going inside the trailer, face red, you looked everywhere and anywhere for a quick answer since your brain couldn't develop one.
"I- um..." You awkwardly giggle, "I'm just lookin' for my mates, I lost them or they lost me... I-I dunno... I-I'm sorry I should go, I'm such a prick" Your knees were bruised, but you managed to get yourself up and fix your dress.
"But... how did you get here?" He said, looking at you like you were the dumbest person alive.
His eyes roam your body with no shame, his breathing short as he sees the way your mouth moves as you speak, how your eyes have this little sparkle whenever he looks at you, and how you couldn't hold his gaze for more than a second, your brain taking pictures of his faces, "That's a good question, I've been wondering that myself too... I just found a little bit of reception here, and-"
He clears out his throat cutting you off, "You know what? It don't matter... you can stay, just don't go inside anyone's trailer like that again doll, you can get in serious trouble" He called you a doll, and you smiled to yourself at the fact that Alex fucking Turner had called you a doll, "Want a drink?" Holly fuck, you cursed into your head.
"Sure... yeah that'll be cool" You walked around the monkeys trailer as Alex turned on his blender, throwing on some ice in two cups, all the things that you wanted to say, and scream simply couldn't be spilled out of your mouth as your mind took pictures of every bit of the messy trailer, you could spot Matt's drumsticks, and Nick's bass, you were more than excited when you saw Jamie's owl strap hanged in the settee, and when your eyes ran across Alex's little hard covered open notebook, you wanted to read it so badly.
"Margaritas!" He handed you over a cool red plastic cup, sitting beside you on his olive green settee, "Cheers, love" He watched you pour his margarita down your mouth with the biggest look of relief, he smiled, eying you up and down from the side, you bet you were looking dirty and sweaty, your dress didn't hide much of your body, it made your legs longer with your gold dress and leather belt around your hips, with your dirty rain boots, and your trashed eyeliner with gold sparkles on your eyelids, but not only was your face that captivated him, your smooth legs with bleeding bumps on them, if he looked more higher he could see your pair of black knickers.
"Fuck, I never thought this would happen..." You admitted, pushing your hands through your hair, the palm of your hand on your forehead.
"What?" He leaned in closer.
You sighed looking down at your cup because you couldn't look at his face for long, "It's my first festival" You said with a smile, "Well it's our first festival, and I dunno... I saw this coming but I was hoping it wouldn't happen, losing all of my girls just like that" You snapped your fingers.
"This is what happens when you give young girls more booze than they can handle" He chuckled while you awkwardly laughed at his comment, maybe that was his sense of humor, he saw you smiling so he took that as a sign that you were getting into him, his body began to close the space between yours very slowly, leaning in, "To be honest, I'm sort of glad you crashed here," His arm rested on the head of the couch, his fingers lightly touching your shoulder, "To finally have someone that's easy to talk to" You smiled not quite sure to take what he said as a compliment but you politely took what he said as something possibly positive.
"Well... thank you," You said, smiling and resting your head on his hand, his fingers intertwined with your hair, you felt embarrassed about the way you had rudely woke him up just a few minutes ago, you thought it was the right moment to apologize since he had gone quiet, but what he did was admiring your face, "When I... crashed here, where you asleep?" You asked kindly, he nodded his head, "I'm sorry for waking you up" His hand pats your thigh gently, and you look at him in the eyes, and he shrugs with a smile.
"I'm happy you did though, I dunno why but whenever I'm 'bout to play at any festival I just have terrible nightmares, then you came and I thought I was still dreaming" You blushed at the comment, even if it was a cliché, he was just as you imagined he would be, sweet and shy, handsome as well with a touch of cockiness for some spice, you noticed he wasn't as smooth sometimes when it came to flirting but at least he didn't say anything stupid, he was a dork.
"What was it about?" He shrugged smiling to himself again, he stared into your eyes, something in them thrilled you when they shine.
"About me shoes...." You both break into laughter, he sees that familiar spark in your eyes, your smile charming him, so he decides to leave behind his shyness and take a chance with you, "Can I tell you summat?" You nodded, "This is me first Glasto too, so why don't we make it unforgettable together?" Your head raised when he proposed you to stay with him, his hand landing on your knee.
"You reckon?" He said yes with his head, "Really?"
"Yeah, I can write your girls on the list, we'll have a party after the show ends," With no doubt, you said yes, "You're welcome..." You told him your name and you heard him say it back at you with a smile, you pinched yourself to prove that you weren't dreaming this, but this was real, Alex Turner knows about your existence and asked you to stay with him.
"I don't think I need an introduction, right?" You giggled saying no, "Right then, follow me doll, we're almost up" He put your margarita down, and grabbed your hand turning off the lights of his trailer and grabbed a black coat on the way out, on the walk backstage he never dropped your hand, properly holding it, fingers intertwined, his hand soft, and his fingertips bumpy and thick, you went thru the woods his hand gripping yours tightly until you were at the back of the big pyramid, it was so strange looking at it from that angle but it was still magnificent, there was a big white tent right next to the stage, security stopped you and Alex before going inside.
"She's with me, we also have more people coming with us," Out of his pocket he took out his wallet, sliding some money into the palm of his hand, the big man that was twice the size of you and Alex, nodded his head.
"Names" That's the only thing he said, you wrote them down on a piece of ripped paper he gave you and went inside with ease, the place was poorly illuminated but you recognized everyone, your pulse speeding up when you saw that iconic 60's bee hive black hair of hers, walking towards you with her black tank top, leather belt around her waist and beautiful red skirt and her big eyeliner.
"Aye, kiddo!" Amy approached the both of you with a cigarette trapped between her teeth, "It's wild out there, I just wanted to tell you to have fun, it's big and I'm sure after this you lots will only go up and up" She blew the smoke at your face, you were honored, "And who is this?" She greets you with a big friendly hug and kiss on your cheek, you tell her your name and she scans you up and down, "You look very fit"
You internally screamed, "You were amazing out there, me and my gals were-"
"Meh, a bit shit," She said making you laugh, "But have a nice night, I'll see you at the party right?" She repeated your name and you were only able to nod your head and she said goodbye to you, walking to her trailer with her security.
"Shit, I can't believe that just happened" You covered your mouth, "Amy, just... bloody hell" Alex laughed along with you.
"I know, big fan as well, she's just lovely... come to meet the rest" The rest? you were about to enter into a coma if you met the rest, "There's a signal here as well" Shit, you forgot about that, you walked away for a moment phoning your girls.
"Chelsea?" You yelled, there was a lot of noise but when she said your name you were relieved, "You won't believe what just happened but I'm in the back of the fucking pyramid with Arctic Monkeys and I just fucking saw Amy!" Your friend began yelling like a little child but you managed to explain to her how to get there, "Find Gracie," She promised you she would and to phone you when she was there, you finished the call, and Alex waved his hand at you with a big smile, you ran to meet him, your heart rate speeding when you saw the rest of the guys together.
He pulled you in, his arm around your waist, sticking your body next to his, and introducing you to the guys, "Lovely to meet you" Nick said hugging you and padding your back, Matt and Jamie did as well, and Katie who's Jamie's girlfriend gave you a big hug.
"Finally, a girl! I was tired of all of that testosterone and cologne" Katie pulled you away from Alex, "You don't mind if I steal her away from you for a couple of minutes, do you Al?" He looks at you and back at Katie, she practically had already claimed you.
"Mmm, just don't take long, I want her to see our set" Katie raised her beer and nodded.
"Sure you do... come" She grabbed your hand pulling you to a corner, "I've been dying to fix my hair and makeup!" She said, "Do you mind holding your light and my purse?"
"Oh, no, not at all!" You held your phone up, as she took her lip gloss and mirror out from her little Prada purse, "Shit, I don't know where my bag is" Her laughter was contagious, you were put at ease by her presence.
"You're lovely, do you mind?" She gave you her mirror and you held it up for her as she fixed some gloss on her lips, and some powder on her face, patting it gently on her nose and under her eyes, "Here, have some too," She pats it into your face, taking out some of your runny makeup with her fingers, she put some pinkish lipstick on your cheeks and her cheeks, lastly applying more gloss on your mouth, "Done, let's go back before Al yells at us" Your phone began to buzz like crazy.
"That was fast, my mates are here, I'll be back" She held your hand, she was compromised not to leave your side.
"I'm coming with you" She quickly put her things back in place and ran with you to the entrance hand in hand pushing everyone away with a lot of 'excuse me' and 'sorry', you hugged both of your girls tightly, all of you relieved you were back together, all in one piece.
"Fuckin' hell, where did you guys go?! You left me!" You yelled at them and Chelsea hugged you so hard your lungs ran out of air.
"Gracie saw me running to the bushes to throw up and then we lost you, and then she lost me but I'm fine now!" When Chelsea got drunk she acted like that, that's how your friend was and more than being mad at her you were happy that now you were together.
"Girls, this is Katie!" Katie kindly hugged the girls and all of them already knew who Katie Downs was, the rockstar model girlfriend, a goddess to many girls, all of you looked out to her for pulling Jamie Cook, and now when you went back inside, and saw Alex with that evil cocky smile on his face you could tell he was looking at you shamelessly, when you walk into the room it was hard for Alex to not picture those black knickers falling to your ankles, and that dress to the floor, or your bruised knees getting new ones, you were something else, and Alex wanted you, when he saw you so messy, and so sexy, he just wanted to get to see more of you, get a peek of what was behind that dress.
This time when he saw you, his arm possesively around your lower back, his hand falling to your hip gripping it tight and playing with the studs on your belt. Chelsea quickly caught up on him and the way he was whispering things to your ear and making you laugh, his nose taking a sniff of your scent, he was desperate for the party to come.
"Monkeys!" The staff announced, and Matt alongside Nick were the first to go running up the stairs. Before Jamike walked in, he pulled Katie to a dark corner in the staircase to kiss her deeply gripping her sides tightly, you and Alex crossed looks with each other as you saw them kissing, you blushed when Alex pulled you away to a dark corner before he came up the stairs, caging you in between his arms.
"Aren't you gonna wish me some luck?" One of his hands dropped to your ass gripping it lightly, he bit his bottom lip with a smudge smile, looking at you needy like a teenager, you smiled, taking a step close and kissing his cheek.
"Good luck Al" That's all you said, his smile was quick to come off when he didn't get what he wanted, you could see it crystal clear but you wouldn't let that man go without something to hold on to, you grabbed his hand stopping him, "I'm not done with you yet..."
"Alex!" They yelled but he ignored them when you put his hands on your lower back, your arms wrapping around the back of his head, living a lingering kiss on his mouth, opening it to slip your tongue inside his mouth, his hand went up to your neck, his grip loose around it but his thumb caressed your skin, you took your lips off from his mouth, and he leaned in for more, but you attacked his neck nibbling on his skin, and whispering in his ear, "Would you sing one for me, Al?" Your eyes tender, he smiled and gave you a peck.
"Mmm, yeah babe... just wait for me, I'll show you summat else after I wrap it up here, enjoy the show" He went back with the rest, all of their heads turning to you and Alex, of course, they knew what was going on but you couldn't care less.
"Be careful" Chelsea said, she was more rational than Gracie who was more boy obsessed, she loved boys so much that she, of course, would support your decision to stay with Alex, "You know rockstars, they hit it, lit it and quit it," You hummed as a yes, you were cornered, in the wonder, would it be worth it to spend the night with Alex or to hit and run before he does that to you?
The crowd screams wildly as they see them walk onto the stage, without saying a word they begin to play, everyone recognizes the song in the very first strum of his bronco, and the crowd sings the lyrics along with Alex.
"So who's that girl there? I wonder what went wrong so that she had to run the streets she don't do major credit cards"
As the show settles down after the first song ends, the next no one begins back to back, Alex shared his excitement with the chanting crowd you were dancing and jumping thru the whole gig, "We'd like to play a cover for you Glastonbury, ladies and gentlemen, it's like I said before, you know it only happens once...we're fucking like thrilled, thrilled and we just wanted ...like make it out for everyone to have a good time you know?"
He kept smiling whenever he looked at you in certain lyrics that he dedicated to you when he sang 'Diamonds Are Forever', you had no words to describe how euphoric you felt when you turned 18 you thought your life as a teenage girl was over but you still feel like that young girl that hopelessly wore her heart on her sleeve, when Alex looks at you, a fire in your belly spreads wildly, you couldn't control it, you wanted to be all over him, you didn't care anymore, it was pure young lust, and it was something he wasn't hiding either. At that moment, when he saw thousands of people waving their arms, chanting, clapping, jumping, and throwing themselves, the monkeys felt that they'd made it, all of them had an itch inside their tummies, and all of them could feel it in each other, this was it, this is their moment, this is when they begin.
Alex's lips leaned in closer to the microphone, announcing the next song, "This is called 'Leave Before The Lights Come On' ladies and gentlemen.... and I should stop saying ladies and gentlemen, that must be about the fourteenth time" He quickly turned to see if he had made you laugh, he knew he had embarrassed himself in front of thousands of people but when he saw you smiling he felt fine.
[...]
His intentions were clear, right as he came down from the stage bathed in sweat his hands landed on your hips, there was a spark in his eyes that was hard to control, that fresh concert euphoric bliss that had his eyes so deeply dilated, that angst he couldn't control like an itch on the roof of his mouth, he couldn't console, he wanted to do you and only you.
"Mate, everyone's going to Lily's tent, we'll see you there, reyt?..." Matt said, Alex just nodding focusing your eyes on you.
"Shit, Chelsea and Grace!" Little did you know that they were also hooking their selves with the guys from Fratellis, specially Chelsea as you imagined, you turned to look at Alex and you fetched them.
"Lily's... now" That's the only thing you said but everyone was gonna be back in the trailers of course, either way you managed to get them all, including Kasabian, Fratellis, Amy, and The Killers were there too, you were baffled by the amount of people you met and all the pictures you took with each of them, but it didn't take long until you had to get out for a necessary cigarette break.
Just when you had relaxed and sat on your legs to enjoy your cigarette you heard someone say, "There you were" Your heart speeds when you see Alex, and you quickly stand up and keep smoking.
"I lost you, with all of those girls in there... I thought you had forgotten about me," You said with a hint of annoyance, he nudged his head to the side and said no.
"I'm not finished with you yet... I could have all of them and you know that, right?" That was very hard to accept but who were you kidding? He was right, then he took your cigarette away, pulling you in and pressing your body against him so you could feel how hard he was, he blew the smoke into your mouth wrapping you up in a poisonous and addictive kiss, "Don't flatter yourself" Your cheeks painted dark red without you noticing it, he grabbed your hand and let your way to his camper, both of you knew exactly how things were going to go down.
Alex couldn't wait any longer both getting excited by the anticipation, the ride to his campsite was too far for him, his need for you was too hard, and he needed to get it out of his system, the kiss was enough to get him hooked, he couldn't get you out of his head the whole gig, and the euphoria, and the bliss, and you... he knew you were more than willing, he pulled you to a bench, settling you on top of him.
He pulled your face to his, slipping his tongue inside you the moment your lips parted to kiss him, his hands gripping your ass tightly, your dress riding up to your hips and that was enough for him to take advantage of, feeling your smooth skin and digging his nails into your ass, you sighed when that piece of thin fabric in your body rubbed against the roughness of his blue denim jeans, "Quite needy" You whispered, at that moment he thrusts his hips, you felt that piece of hard meat coming in direct contact with you, your underwear was so thin, you could feel him entirely.
"You couldn't expect for you to just leave me like that, now do you?" He chocked, "I know what you want" His eyes look down to his bulging boner, you oblige, knees on the ground, your hands on his jeans, stroking him, but he already had figured out exactly what to do with you in his mind, he quickly unbuckled his belt, he didn't want to waste more time while you just wanted to warm him up and tease him to get him more worked up, he took out his cock from his belt your eyes widening at the size, you looked up at him, he was impatient pulling your head down to his cock.
Your mouth closed around him but barely did anything, a big sigh of relief left his lips, and you smiled your eyes coming in contact with his, "I don't have all night" He said demandingly, you began to gather up a steady pace, sucking hard but not going too fast, swirling your tongue around his red tip, while your hand strokes the rest of his dick, "Are you gonna blow me or what? You're wasting me time"
He pulled your head back and your hands gripped his thighs to not let him go, "No, no! Wait... I'm sorry" Here you were, down on your knees being the one that apologized to him because you weren't doing a good enough job in Alex's eyes, but he still had a little trace of goodness, and the chances of him treating you more like shit would make you better, he could see how hard you tried, how much you wanted to please him, he wouldn't let down a chance like this, a girl that would beg to suck his dick.
"Sorry won't make me cum, just get down you fuckin' cunt" You leaned in forward, pushing your hair behind your ears, sliding his cock down your throat, he chocked out a groan, his whole body relaxing on the bench, and sighed and said, "Fuckin' finally..." You tried your best to keep your breathing steady, but you couldn't stop gagging around him, his size too thick, you drew some of his cock back, going back to rimming his cock with your tongue, he pulled your head back, and your mouth drooling, "Hey, is this your first time sucking a dick, you lazy whore? Don't act like you can't do better than just gag," Sliding back your comments about his arrogance you took him in.
Alex moaned as he kept watching you suck him more harshly, your cheeks hollowed the outline of his cock could be seen on your cheek, the exaggerated moans that fell from his mouth could tell you than more than enjoying your warm, wet, and greedy mouth he enjoyed himself, he only saw you as that, as something he could use to play with, to make himself feel higher, more confident, and you liked that, you liked how much he enjoyed himself so you began to do the same, your hand sliding down in between your legs, and it was obvious, you were soaking wet by now, you enjoyed giving him head so much, him fucking your mouth like it was your pussy, and possibly spilling his cum down your throat, and how much of an asshole he was with you, how little value he gave to you, it pushed you to be wilder, to try harder, to not be scared of him being more rough, you could vividly picture him fucking you, your walls contracting around nothing by the thought, your clit swollen from rubbing it in harsh circles, the vibration of your moaning making him moan louder and louder, he smiled when he saw you touching yourself.
"You're a dirty little slut touching yourself like that, you like how I feel in your mouth huh?" He asked, "You'll like it more when I fill it up" You moaned loudly as your fingers slid in easily, your fingers fucking your hole harder, "You dirty fuck, I'm gonna fuck your mouth until you can't breathe" He pulled your head down, gathering your hair into a ponytail, thrusting his hips, your screams muffled by his cock, you couldn't stop him, he had lost it the moment you kissed him, and now you were paying for it.
Then, the moment you heard people approaching Alex quickly drew back his cock from your mouth, putting it back inside his boxers and zipping up his jeans, he grabbed your hand picked you up from the ground, and dragged you around the tent, behind a three, both of you could hear the music close, and at any moment, anyone could see you two together and that was so thrilling, it's not like he cared, but he wanted to remain some things private, he leans in forward slowly, backing you up against the tree cupping your cheeks, "Kiss me" You closed the space between you and his body, at first he enjoyed the deep kiss, tasting your warm mouth, something about you was quite addictive, you didn't know if it might be the tiniest trace of nicotine or the fact that he just wanted to feel your insides more than just wanting a simple blow.
Alex flips you, face against the tree, his hands dropping to your hips pulling them forward, "Are your little fantasies coming true? You can't lie to me, I knew you were thinking of summat like this... just wanting me inside you this whole time... and you didn't say anything..." You heard the sound of his zipper coming down, you gripped the wood tighter as Alex pushed your dress up to your back, he finally saw what was underneath your golden dress, that thin pair of black knickers, he pushed them aside, and pressed his fingers down on your clit making you sigh, he smiled to himself gathering up a slow tempting pace.
"You're such..." You were cut off the moment his fingers finally made their way into your panties.
"Such a what?" You couldn't stop gasping as his fingers began to fuck your hole more vigorously, deeper, you couldn't stop moaning his name out loud, even if you tried, he filled you up to the top, your legs losing balance, "Such a good fuck, babe?" You whined when he took himself out of you, rimming his dick on your cunt, spreading your wetness all over it.
"Mhm" You whimpered, the tip of his cock was used to rub your weakest spot in circles, you could feel him smiling to himself, whatever happened to that 19-year-old boy that won your heart with his shyness in his interviews, reserved, quiet, a sweet kind smile, now he was all over you, treating you like a trashy whore, but you loved it, it boosts his ego, but nobody had seen this part of Alex Turner, or even felt it, "You are Alex" You whimpered.
"Be quiet sweetheart, or they'll hear you..." He enters you and keeps fucking you like a doll, pressed against you so tight you were seeing the stars in the black sky shining like diamonds, reflecting in your eyes, you felt butterflies fluttering in your stomach, his lips pressed against your neck, sucking on it harder to leave his little stamp, his mark, "I bet everyone would be glad to know you got fucked by me..." You didn't know how did he have the strength to keep talking to you while he fucked your insides so good. His lips were so soft against your skin, his cock reaches to a place that covered your flesh in goosebumps, his nose tickling your nape, his hands gripping your tits, squishing them together, kneading them.
"Oh... Alex," You gasp, he had such a delicious rhythm that burned your body and his, the tension making the air thicker, harder and harder for you to catch your breathing, you trembled, your cheeks burning hot as your pussy only got wetter, and nipples got hard.
"I felt that... tell me what it is..." He drawled, but you couldn't sound a syllable, you grabbed his hand, sliding down in between your legs, your back arched as his fingers press down on your clit, your head on his shoulder, your long neck so beautiful in his eyes, his other hand chocked your neck, he kissed you as best as he could, rubbing your clit harder as he feels you contracting, your pussy made a mess, wetting your inner thighs, feeling those tickles, and his dick was pushed deep inside you, only to make you finish all over him, your eyes turning white gasping for some air, making you feel lightheaded, and he let go of your neck before you passed out, but you were sure it wasn't because you couldn't breathe, it was because he fucked you so well, "Now is my turn..." He gathered up a giddy pace, so fast that the sound of his hips colliding against your body sounded like applause, your ass turning tender and soft like a piece of dough, he was coming to an end, and so did you for the second time, he pushed himself harder, "Cum all over me cock, you dirty cunt... fuckin' do it" He flicked your clit and you came again, not being able to stand on your feet any longer, he pulled out of you fast to cum on your back, the warm fluid dripping down your hips and bum, "Shit, shit... oh fuck" He gave himself a few strokes to squeeze everything out when he opened his eyes again he began to panic a bit, he researched in his jeans for something to clean you up.
You quietly giggled and kicked your panties off your feet, "Just use these" You panted, he grabbed them and he pushed his lips together.
"But I'm gonna ruin them" He pouts, you wave it off and he cleans up your back, once he is done, you take your coat off, wrapping it around your waist, he feels bad about it, and you can see it on his face, "What's wrong?"
"Ruined a sexy pair of knickers," Your fingers brushed the hairs on his forehead, and you kindly smiled at him, pecking his lips.
"It was for a good cause," You made him laugh, and it was the silliest, sweetest, and most contagious laugh ever, you've heard it before on the radio when they interviewed them, but it was nothing like real life, "Besides, I always keep a spare on my purse" He pushed his eyebrows together, smiling, his smile was the one that made your insides melt.
"Now I'm curious to see what's inside that magical purse of yours," You looked at him with a hint of sadness in your eyes, knowing that maybe it was time for you to go your separate ways as you walked together, but at least for today, he didn't want you to just disappear, so he grabbed your hand and you walked back together, you found a bathroom in the way where you could change, and he waited patiently outside for you, telling your how sorry he was over and over, but you truly didn't care.
You had the time of your life, partying with him and the monkeys, Lilly Allen had turned the party into a costume party, you saw Alex changing into a green dinosaur onesie, drinking beer, and dancing with you dressed like an angel, with sparkles in your eyes and a white dress that Amy lend you in exchange for your golden dress, you kept dancing and drinking until the sunrise with him, smoking some weed with him and Matt in the back, Alex played with you, he stuck with you throughout the whole night, pinching your bum, kissing the back of your head, but mostly he spent most of the time craving the taste of your mouth, kissing you with angst and possession since there was another guy, James from Klaxons that wanted to kiss you, he wouldn't leave you alone, both of you felt like you were flying like planes running and rolling around the grass watching the sun peek behind the giant pyramid. And then, your memory went blank, you had woken up from the floor with your knees and elbow bleeding, blood on your wings and broken fishnets, Chelsea lying on your thighs and Gracie hugging you close, you glanced at your clock, it was 8 in the morning, you woke Chelsea and Gracie up, taking them with Jamie and Katie who kindly gave them water and some food, then you had another worry, it was Alex.
"Have you guys seen Alex anywhere?" You slurred to Jamie and Katie, then Jamie grabbed Katie's hand and went outside with you, you heard the sound of Alex's grunts, and you followed them until you saw him wrestling James in the mud with his dinosaur onesie, his eyes just as red as yours, "Alex!" James was in the mud and Alex quickly went running back to you zigzagging, you couldn't help but laugh so hard it knocked you to the floor, your body and head still felt light, he laid down next to you staining your costume with mud, "What the fuck, Alex?"
"That fucker wanted to kiss you!" Alex's voice sounded a pinch higher when he was drunk, he was annoyed that you kept laughing, "What? He needed to know that you're mine, he can't kiss you"
"So brave!" You teased him, cuddling close to him, "How much grass did we smoke? Jesus... I'm so tired" You turn your head to look at him but he is already staring at your lips, stealing a kiss from you.
"We could go back to the trailer," He pinched your chin, his thumb caressing it gently, and a smile crawled to your lips.
"You're not that tired, are you?" He said no with his head, his hands sneaking to pinch your bum, making you giggle like a child and blush hard.
"I'll do everything, you just have to lay down... and look pretty just like now" He kissed your temple, piggybacking you back to the trailer, closing the door shut.

"Breaking news! Trouble in debut world! Lead singer Y/n L/n slaps leader Adam Smith after not getting the best rookie album award!"
"Want to explain this?" Ray, our manager asked, "This is you guys 6 week as a band and you guys already fighting?" Ray said looking me in the eyes.
Adam sat next me, he kept shifting in the chair he was sitting in avoiding Ray. "It's her fault, Ray." He mumbled.
Ray looked over at me as if to ask if he's telling the truth making me shake my head, "What happened." I wanted to open my mouth before Ray continued; "Every detail and calm please." I nodded.
"We were placed at the same table as Tokio Hotel, Tom Kaulitz was just making some flirty comments-"
"He was trying to fuck you."
"Let's Y/n speak."
A mhpm was heard next to me indicating that the boy next to me wasn't happy with the way this was going.
"As I was saying he was being himself, which he is known for." I said dramatically turning to Adam, "and I just brushed it off but this Clown here said I was just trying to fuck my way up."
"Ugh Adam, what's wrong with you." Ray groaned as I finished the story, "Tom is pretty known for having intercourse with almost all girls he meets, Y/n is attractive, what did you expect?"
"that doesn't make it right!" Adam suddenly yelled making me jump, "Y/n is not only your lead singer but also a human, stop treating her like she can't decide for herself. If she wants to have sex with Mr. kaulitz that so be it."
Wow, feminist Ray? I love this Ray.
"I'm just trying to protect my best friend." Said as he started to rub the back of his neck, he looked over at me with those puppy eyes I've grown to feel safe around.
"I'm sorry, Y/n. I shouldn't have said that to you." He apologized grabbing my hand in his gently rubbing the back with his thumb.
"I forgive you, but don't you ever do that shit again." He nodded and smiled at me, suddenly feeling a sense of relieve coming from him.

Soon the day of the shooting had come and Bill was sitting with me in my trailer, Anne was already busy doing my makeup while Bill was being Bill in the background.
"Before I forgot to tell you this, Toms gonna be here soon." My eyes widened as I stared at the black haired boy.
"Why?" I panicked making him laugh, "He's probably fucking some girl here, he told me he had business here." He said mindlessly while flipping through a magazine.
Oh ok so there's basically nothing to worry about. Right?
"We're going for a red wet look ok?" Anne asked me as she was putting a bright red lip tint on my lips. I hummed and smiled slightly as she told me smack my lips together to get it to go evenly.
"You're ready." Anne said as she stepped away letting me see my look, she made my hair look wet by using gel, my lips were a bright red and so was the wing like eyeshadow. All around my face were small red gems glued to my face making me gasp.
"You out did yourself yet again Anne!" I giggled as I stood there in awe looking at my look.
I could feel Bill's eyes burn the back of my head as he was observing me. He had a small smile on his face as he stood up.
He turned me around and wrapped his arms around me, "You look gorgeous." I couldn't help but feel like my cheeks were on fire.
"Thank you, Bill." He nodded and patted my head, "Good luck."

"There's something missing." The director said, "We need something spicier." She spoke again.
We had done a few takes now for other songs and this one was one of the last songs we needed to do and the director wanted it to be perfect.
"Is there any man that would like to do a scene with Y/n?" My eyes widened as I looked over at Adam, silently telling him to do something.
"Uh ma'am can't we think of something else." The woman shook her head as she She had already made up her mind.
"You!" I followed her finger and saw- TOM? No. No. I WILL NOT.
"You look perfect for what I have in mind!" Tom was looking rough to say the least. His dreads looked like a mess, his pants was half pass his hips telling me he was in a rush to putting them back on.
Ah he did have some business here.
"Me? I'm not an actor." He tried to say but the director already pushed him over to me making him trip halfway to me.
I quickly grabbed his arm keeping him steady, he nodded out of appreciation and stood next to me.
"I don't think I have to ask if you're sexually active, sir?" He just smirked and played with the band of his pants. Fuck did he look good post nut.
"I am, ma'am. Wanna get in line?" She smirked at him before handing him her card with her number. When I tell you my jaw dropped when he winked at her and put the card in his pocket Im not joking.
"Well this pretty young lady is a virgin."
"Hey I've never said that!" I yelled out embarrassed, I could hear Bill laughing in the background.
"You didn't have to baby, it's obvious." Wow ok. Bitch.
"It's ok baby, he'll take good care of you."
"What the fuck, are we actually making porn?!" I heard Ben yell from the back as I heard Clair laugh her ass off.
Assholes. All of them.
"What's your name darling?" She asked Tom, "Tom Kaulitz." She smirked.
"Well Tom, I need you guys to pretend to actually be sexually attracted to each other." She explained.
"Wouldn't be too hard for Y/n!" Ben yelled, which led to a loud "OW" from him a second later.
"You guys haven't had sex yet, the sexual tension is getting higher and higher. You guys need each other, you can't live without each other. You need that deeper connection. Tom's a fuck boy and you're that sweet innocent girl."

Mother Dearest
Part Two
Pairing: FP Jones x Female!Reader
Warnings: None, afab reader
Words: 958
Summery: Mama Jones meets Betty
Previous | Next
The next couple of days were spent in bliss. While you hated living in a trailer, it was home. Your family was home. You made sure Jug and JB were going to school, especially after getting Jellybean enrolled in school in Riverdale. You had officially moved back home.
You even got your old job back while FP was working with Fred at Andrews Construction. You got back into the habit of helping Jug with his writing.
One day, when you picked up JB from school you went ahead and headed to the high school to pick up Jughead. You stood in front of the school, leaning against the truck with JB sitting in the passenger seat playing with her Nintendo DS.
As you stood there, you kept getting glances from other students as school was let out. You had your hands in your pockets of your jeans as you crossed your legs with Timberlands on your feet. A flannel was over an old band t-shirt, which you were sure was your husbands from when you first started going out. You also had a jean jacket over that to keep you warm.
You then saw Jughead step out of the school with a pretty blonde girl, a raven haired girl, and a red headed boy. You were pretty sure that was Betty and Archie. Betty you vaguely remember from a couple times she played with the boys when they were younger. You and her mother, Alice, did not get along. Alice was ex-serpent which didn’t settle well with you as you had been a serpent since around the same time as FP. You didn’t trust her after she refused to acknowledge the fact that she came from the Southside.
While you were proud of the fact that you were a Serpent.
“Mrs. Jones!” Archie yelled loudly as he rushed to hug you. You laughed as you hugged him back. You always saw him as a second son and he always saw you as a second mother. You were always supportive of anything the kids did.
“Archie! You’ve gotten taller since I last saw you.” You told him as you let him go and patted his shoulder.
“That’s what happens when you get older.” He sassed with a grin on his lips.
You smiled and smacked him on the back of the head, making it jerk forward and him to scrunch his face up in a grimace. You always hit hard.
You then looked over at Jughead and saw him with his arm around Betty’s waist. You raised an eyebrow and Jug rushed to introduce the two girls. “Mom, I don’t know if you remember Betty, but this is Betty Cooper. My girlfriend.” He said kinda slowly as if he didn’t want you to know. “And this is Veronica Lodge.” He introduced the Hispanic girl on the other side of him.
“Hi, Mrs. Jones.” Betty said with a smile on her face. You smiled back and shook her hand that she held out.
“Hi, Betty. Yeah, I remember you. You sometimes played with the boys when you guys were younger. You guys can just call me Y/N. I don’t mind.” You turned to Archie. “I think I’ve told you multiple times.” He shrugged with a innocent smile. You laughed.
“Jughead, you didn’t tell me your mom was a badass.” Veronica said as she reached out her hand to shake.
You smirked and narrowed your eyes at her playfully. “Well that’s because she’s my mom. Although she has been my role model since I was maybe 5.” Jug said with a tone of sarcasm at the begin. “Not that I don’t love seeing you Mom. What are you doing here?”
You grinned. “You want a ride home, Jug?” You asked.
He made an ‘oh’ face as he threw his arm around Betty’s shoulders. “I was gonna walk Betty home.”
You smiled. “I can drive you both. Come on.” You then turned to the other two as Betty and Jug headed to the truck.
I think Betty was trying to be quiet but I heard her as she whispered to Jughead. “She is so much easier to talk to than your dad.” He chuckled.
“You two good?” You asked the other two high schoolers. Wanting to make sure they got home safe.
Veronica answered first. “Yeah, I’m at the Pembroke and it isn’t that far. Bye guys.” She then made her way in the direction of the Pembroke. You then turned to Archie.
“You good, kid?” You asked him.
“Yeah, dad should -” He was cut off as someone spoke up from behind you.
“Y/N?” You both turned around and saw Fred standing there.
“Hey, Fred!” You smiled. You missed your best friend. You had been friends with Fred and FP since you were all kids.
“Hey, dad.” Archie said as he walked over his dad. Fred patted his shoulder as he glanced at Archie before looking back at you. You smiled as you shoved your hands in your pockets of your jacket.
“Y/N. You’re back.” Fred smiled big at you.
“Yeah, hopefully for good.” You told him. He went to say something else but JB decided it would be a good time to honk the truck horn loudly.
Archie and Fred jumped at the loud sound while you set your face in a grimace of agitation.
“MA!!!! HURRY UP!”
You turned around with raised eyebrows. “Forsythia Penelope Jones!” You said sternly.
She shrunk down back into her seat as Jug laughed at her.
You sighed as you turned back to Fred and Archie who were chuckling.
“Well, I guess I’ll see you guys later.” You turned to the truck and went to the driver’s side with a wave over your shoulder.

who’s pretty?
eddie munson x fem!reader
word count: 2,527
warnings: swearing, kissing, smoking (DON’T YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT IT), slight seasonal depression, innuendos/suggestive tone towards the end, allusions to nudity, fluff
a/n: hi!! i’ve been super excited to work on some christmas related fics, so here we are. i think it turned out super sweet and i think i might even like it! i really hope you guys like it too!! thanks for putting up with my shit. <333
————
Eddie spit out the plastic wrapper stuck between his teeth, setting the christmas tree cake in his mouth while he readjusted, tossing the film beside him on the porch and holding on to his cigarette more firmly.
Situated, the boy took an aggressive bite of the cake, red and green sprinkles crunching as he chewed. He swallowed, and took a slow drag, letting the smoke fill his lungs. He looked down, assessing the white icing covering his fingertips.
Eddie scarfed down the rest of his cake, licking the residue from his skin. Little Debbie wasn’t doing anything to soothe the ache in his chest. Neither was his cigarette.
Eddie watched the neighbors across the dirt road—it could hardly be called a street—wrap lights around their porch beams. Once up, they plugged them in, warm white lights illuminating the dingy gray of their trailer.
He tapped the ash off into the tray next to his thigh and scoffed a little. He always preferred the multi-colored lights to those.
He perked up, though, as the cat belonging to those very same neighbors leapt from the cat door and out into the sand, presumably in search of a mole or a cricket to snack on.
Eddie scratched his nails against the porch, watching for the cat’s head to snap up and notice that attention was waiting for him across the way.
He bounded over to Eddie, a black streak in the cool and foggy blue of the afternoon, starting to rub over his shoes and calves. “Hey, buddy.”
Eddie scratched behind the cats ears, rubbed his belly when he flipped over. But his visit was cut short as something moved in the overgrown grass and the cat shot away, back to business.
Eddie sighed, pushing off of the worn in wood, moving back inside.
The holiday season used to be Eddie Munson’s favorite time of the year. His uncle Wayne usually got two weeks off of work, and he’d spend them with his nephew, watching cheesy Christmas movies and eating themselves out of house and home.
He never got much in terms of gifts, nothing big or grand. But every band t-shirt Wayne brought home from the thrift store made Eddie’s heart grow two sizes. Every couple guitar picks or album that had a poster in the sleeve that Wayne would watch Eddie giddily tack up in his room.
As for Wayne, Eddie found that mugs were a very good gift, and could mean a lot. They did mean a lot.
Wayne didn’t love anything more than a nine-year-old, doe eyed Eddie running up to him with the present he’d hid in his room all December. He felt the same way when Eddie was twenty.
But it hadn’t been the same in recent years. It hurt, but Eddie knew that’s how it worked. Things changed, and the things you loved as a kid don’t feel the same as you get older. They aren’t the same.
Wayne didn’t get two weeks off for the holidays anymore. The plant wasn’t as abundantly employed as it used to be. He was lucky if he got Christmas Eve off and not just the day of. When Wayne was home, he was tired, and it wasn’t the occasion that it once was, full of hyper Eddie shenanigans.
But Eddie missed it. He missed going on walks to the rich neighborhoods to look at their elaborately set up light displays. He missed laying in bed at night, even long after he knew that Santa was actually Wayne and everything else was capitalist bullshit, trying to go to sleep so that his presents would be delivered.
Fuck, he missed being a kid.
He was lost in this mental turmoil spiral when the door slammed and Wayne returned from picking up dinner. Eddie hopped up, ready to help get plates out and make sure the restaurant hadn't forgotten anything.
"Hey, kiddo?" Wayne asked once they'd settled down to eat. Eddie looked up at his uncle from his place on the floor. With his legs crossed and hands bare of any jewelry, Wayne thought his nephew looked lightyears younger. Like his little boy. Eddie hummed in response.
"Merill's has a good bit of trees left. You wanna go pick one out in the next couple days?" Eddie's eyes lit up and he moved to sit on his knees, stuffing pizza crust in his mouth.
He finished swallowing, "Yeah, of course. You sure you won't be too tired or anything?"
Wayne watched as Eddie scanned for his next breadstick. He'd had that nervous habit since he was little: occupying himself while waiting for a response in fear that something would go wrong.
"No, bud. I'll be just fine."
And so they drove up to the farm and brought home one of the smallest and scraggliest trees--just like they always did. Wayne said those had the most character.
Later when it was getting dark outside and both parties were resting from getting the thing inside and in its stand, Eddie realized it was past time for Wayne to be at work, and he wondered if he'd possibly zoned out enough to entirely miss his uncle's goodbye.
He slipped down the hall, only to see Wayne sorting through various holiday lights. "Uh, Wayne?"
"Yeah, bud?"
"Aren't you late for work?"
"No, bud. I've got time off. Suppose I should've mentioned that, huh?" Wayne hadn't forgotten to tell Eddie. How could one forget that they had time off from work? He'd simply wanted it to be a surprise.
Eddie might've been very good at concealing his feelings in general, but Wayne knew he was bummed that Christmas had changed for the both of them. Wayne looked up at Eddie, who was practically beaming.
"Really? How long?"
"Two and a half weeks."
"Shit." Eddie was grinning hard, cheeks pinked and knees bopping slightly. He was excited.
"Guess that means your happy?" Wayne handed the boy one end of the lights to plug in and check they still worked.
"Well, yeah, duh."
"What would you think about asking Y/N over? She could spend the night on Christmas Eve and then the day if she's up for it. Thought maybe you'd like that. I could cook or somethin'."
"I think she'd love that. And you don't have to cook. She'd gladly eat take out, I know."
That night, Wayne stepped out of the bathroom to see Eddie lying on the floor in front of the tree reading, but also staring up at the colored lights in awe. Wayne felt his eyes get glassy and blinking the oncoming tears away. His boy.
He walked over, crouching to plant a prickly kiss in Eddie's curls, only to ruffle them afterwards. "Night, Eds."
Eds. His uncle was the only person that had ever called him that before you. He didn't say it often, but it was one of his favorite things to hear. "Night, Wayne."
————
"Hey, precious." Eddie swung the door open for you, simultaneously shoving a cookie in his mouth.
"Afternoon, Edward." Eddie wrinkled his nose at the use of his birthname, which you kissed in greeting.
"Want a cookie? They've got sprinkles."
"In a second. I've brought a gift for your pretty tree." You set your bag on the coffee table.
"Who's pretty?" Wayne asked, emerging from the back of the trailer.
"You Waynie," Eddie quipped, earning himself a playful smack on the back of the head.
"The tree is pretty, Wayne," you supplied. "I brought it presents. Sorta."
Eddie watched as you dug around, pulling free two ornaments, though he couldn't quite make out what they were.
"Here, Wayne, this one's yours." He held out his hand, and you set the object in his palm. His was a little Garfield ornament. The cat was wearing blue pajamas and was holding a little teeny coffee mug.
Wayne laughed appreciatively. "That's a good one, sweetie. Thank you. Will you find it a good spot on the tree for me?"
"Sure!" He squeezed your shoulder and watched as you put it front and center, towards the middle of the tree, that way Garfield could keep watch.
Wayne walked off into the kitchen, giving you space to give Eddie his prize.
Eddie waited patiently, though that was often a struggle for him. "Okay, I might've gotten you two. But I couldn't not get one of them." Eddie held out both hands, grinning expectantly. It was simple, really, the more you looked at it. A black sphere with purple lettering. One side said Master of Reality, the other Black Sabbath.
"Holy shit," Eddie said, turning the ball over in his hands. "Where'd you find this?"
"The record store in town had a whole bunch of old ornaments on sale, like they'd been cleaning out the back, and I thought you'd like it. Do you?"
Eddie smacked a dramatic kiss on your forehead. "Are you fuckin' kidding me? Of course I like it." He couldn't take his eyes off of it, mainly because it was so sweet of you to have gotten for him, but also because he thought it was funny that the store still had one considering how long the album had been out.
Eddie was lost in thought when you approached him with the next one. "When I went to get a book last week they had this little tree covered in book-related ornaments, and I saw this and I gasped so hard the lady behind me asked me if I was alright."
Eddie laughed, throwing his head back, and you took the opportunity to hang the ornament off of the tip of your finger to show him. He looked down, only to see a small painted ornament that looked like a book. It was The Hobbit.
"Baby." You were the one grinning like an idiot now. That one earned you a sweet kiss on the lips.
“Isn’t it cool?” You asked, pointing out that the text was raised and everything, that the spine even had ridges.
“It’s so cool.” He spun around to walk the few feet into the kitchen. “Wayne, would you look at this?”
Eddie’s uncle did as requested, smiling at your gesture. “That is very cool, Eds. Looks better than the copy you’ve got.”
“It totally does!” The boy wasn’t even slightly offended.
Eddie marched over to the tree, nestling the ornament amongst the others, along with his Black Sabbath one.
He turned to you, taking your face in his hands.“Thank you, sweetheart. I’m gonna be so annoying about those now.”
“I know. I prepared myself on the way here.” The smile he gave you was brilliant, and there was no other way to describe it.
————
The three of you spent a good portion of Christmas Eve making cookies: gingerbread, snickerdoodles, shitty sugar ones with sad icing jobs. Though, you did make sure to get most of it done early so there was time to chill.
You watched loads of movies. How the Grinch Stole Christmas had been on that morning, and Eddie extravagantly performed “You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch” for you, poking at your sides to get you to smile.
Eddie rented Die Hard for you, just because he knew you had the hots for Alan Rickman. He slipped it in the VHS slot, only for Wayne to say, “This the one with her pretty boy in it?”
Eddie practically cackled as you sunk into the couch more than he thought possible.
“He’s not a boy,” you argued. “He’s a total man, thank you very much.”
You watched Gremlins, and Eddie laid his head in your lap. You missed the way Wayne looked over at the two of you, in awe of how lucky he was that his boy had found someone so good. He thought about how happy he was to have this little family.
Wayne picked up food from Benny’s, not wanting to have to cook two nights in a row.
At the end of the night, Eddie finished off his first pile of rentals with Silent Night, Deadly Night. You didn’t mind, not with how excited he was about it. You loved a good slasher anyhow.
It was well past midnight when the film was over, and you cleaned up the popcorn mess while Eddie rinsed cans out for the recycling before the both of you slipped away to allow Wayne some rest before the big day.
Eddie had been in the bathroom while you went into his room to get changed. You slipped out of your pajama bottoms, opting for no pants at all considering Eddie was like a human furnace.
You heard the door click shut behind you as you pulled your shirt over your head, leaving your back bare to him. Eddie wolf-whistled.
You through the shirt at him, aiming for his face, only for him to catch it instead. “Usually it’s dinner and a show, not bedtime and a show, but I’ll take it, hot stuff.”
“Shut the fuck up, Munson.” Eddie giggled to himself as he stopped you from putting on your own shirt, reaching for one of his own. He pulled out his worn in Master of Reality t-shirt.
“Seems appropriate, don’t you think?” He slipped the fabric over your head. “Stick your arm through—there you go.” Once settled, he kissed you sweetly before giving you a light slap on the ass as you climbed into bed.
“C’mon now pretty boy, let’s see my bedtime show.”
Eddie shimmed out of his sweats for you, stepping out of them with a flourish. You giggled at his underwear, which had little Santa hats on them.
“Don’t laugh, they’re comfortable!” He took off his shirt and you made grabby hands at him.
You sat up on your knees to kiss his spider tattoo and then the demon, making sure to hit them all. You made him spin to get the newer one on the small of his back: very sexy bat wings.
Eddie crawled into bed with you, switching his lamp off. “Now, look, I know I’m insatiable, and you’d probably love to stay up all night kissing me, and sweet-talking me, but we gotta get to sleep if we want Santa to come.”
He tickled his fingers up your arm when you stared to laugh, burying your face in his chest.
“Eddie, my love, you haven’t got a chimney.”
He scoffed, fighting a laugh. “You doubt Santa’s abilities to get me my presents though I lack the typical vessel? He has his ways, baby. Damn.”
Eddie reached for your thigh, grabbing hold and swinging it over both of his before kneading at the squish of it. He patted it fondly before he kissed your forehead.
“Merry Christmas, you little shit,” you said. “I love you.”
Eddie snickered. “Goodnight, pain in my ass. I love you more.”
The holiday season had officially climbed right back up to being one of Eddie Munson’s favorite things. He thought, laying there beside you that night, that you and Wayne were the best people in the world.
It felt like all the shitty Christmases had been leading up to this fucking excellent one, and he was over the moon.

Walking down the seemingly never-ending hallway, you curse yourself. Being 5 minutes late to your first class wouldn't leave an excellent impression. You cringe when the door creaks open—squeezing your eyes shut and pursing your lips. You beeline to the back of the class and take the first empty seat you see. The boy sitting beside the vacant one gives you a tight-lipped smile. He has big brown eyes and long curly hair.
'He's cute,' You think to yourself.
Two weeks later, you sit in the building's lobby. Eddie almost does a spit-take when you tell him your first impression of him. "I swear!" You protest—eyes squinted from laughter, "I thought you had to be James Hetfield's son. Distant cousin, at least."
"It's just because of the clothes," He laughs.
"And the hair! The hair!"
He laughs more; you join him.
Not long after you've met, the two of you drive around in his van blasting music, singing, talking, the whole nine yards. Soon, you're at his trailer, talking to this famed "Wayne" Eddie always speaks so highly about. He doesn't say much before leaving, and you're worried he doesn't like you.
"He likes you just fine, lovely," He reassures. Your stomach flips at the nickname. Lovely, he's never called you that before.
You nod, butterflies swarming in your stomach.
"What made you move here?" He asks, expertly rolling.
You're startled by the question, "Wanted to get away from my place. Family sucks sometimes," You shrug.
"So you decided to come to the rundown, shoddy town of Hawkins, Indiana?"
"Yeah."
"And then you befriended the town freak?"
You nod.
He shakes his head, "It seems like you're doing life all wrong."
"I think I'm doing it all right," You argue, "I met this boy, and we became friends. He's, like, the best friend I've ever had." You smile, looking at your hands as they rest in your lap.
Eddie smiles when he sees your eyes wandering around his room. He grins when you gawk at his homemade Corroded Coffin poster.
"You have a Corroded Coffin poster?" You practically squealed.
Eddie was confused, "Yes?"
Your head whips around so fast Eddie's worried you've injured yourself, "So you know who they are?" You were practically gushing.
"Yes?"
"Oh my God," Your words are rushed, "I love their music. I can't find any posters or shirts or anything. Where did you find this?"
Eddie can't stop his heart from overflowing, and his cheeks hurt from smiling so much, "C'mon. I have something to show you. It's in the car."
Excitedly, you skip through his house and up to his van. He searches through the back to find a CD. He's giddy as he hops in, signaling you to do the same. Once you're in the bucket of bolts, as you like to call it—Eddie hates the nickname with a passion. Eddie starts the van, slotting the CD into the player.
"This is, uh," You hear a voice come through, "Our first recording. Hope it sounds good. This is Eddie Munson. From Corroded Coffin," He adds, "For record purposes—or something like that. I'm really fucking high right now."
Your jaw is on the floor, "You're lying."
"I'm not lying!" He argues.
"I genuinely don't believe that my best friend is part of the band Corroded Coffin."
"Baby, not only am I part of it, I'm the lead guitarist."
The nickname, everything about this, has the butterflies fighting their way up your ribcage. You won't let them win.
"If I ever got to see you perform," You say, exhaling smoke, "I would've thrown my bra on the stage."
Eddie laughs, hoping you don't see how red his face is getting. "You wouldn't have," He disputes, "I'm just some guy."
"Or my panties," You ignore him, "Or any article of clothing."
"Again, babe, I'm just some guy." He repeats.
"Some awesome guy," You correct, "Who is sexy and can play the guitar."
Eddie sits up to stare at you, "Did you just call me sexy?"
Your eyes are saucers, "No. No, I didn't. I would never say anything like that."
A smirk crawls up Eddie's face, settling on his lips. It's a good look, you think, before shaking your head. Trying to get rid of the thought like your mind was an etch-a-sketch.
"What are you thinking about, pretty thing?"
The butterflies are in your throat, and you're unsure how long you can contain them. "Nothing," You respond, bringing the joint back to your lips.
He snatches it away from you, and you whine. He frowns at you, mocking sympathy, "You can have it back when you tell me what you're thinking."
Finally, you sit up, "'M thinking about how I want to smoke some more." You huff, crossing your arms.
"C'mon, babe," He pleads, batting his big brown eyes.
The butterflies are in your mouth, and you hold your breath, willing them not to escape. "I have to leave," Your words are rushed as you stand up, frantically looking for your sweater.
Eddie watches in amusement, "Looking for something?" He holds the sweater out of your reach.
"Whatever, I don't even need my sweater." You huff, going to storm out of his home.
Eddie stops you, "Shit, baby. I didn't know I upset you that much. I'm sorry." He frowns, and it feels sincere. So many things feel sincere with him, and it hurts your heart. You accept his apology and walk back to his room. He snuggles up with you in the tiny bed. It's nice when you lay with Eddie. His hands explore your body—they trace over your stretch marks and scars, rub up and down your thigh, and grab at your stomach. He doesn't touch you like a typical boy would. He's not lustful; he's gentle. He has no ulterior motives—he just wants to be close to you. He squeezes your hip, and you sigh pleasantly—a butterfly escapes. You let him know that he is bliss through a simple sigh, and Eddie takes that information and runs with it. He squeezes your hip again. You hum.
"Nice," You tiredly whisper.
Eddie can't help his grin, "Yeah? Feels nice, baby?"
You nod lazily, "Like when you call me baby."
Yeah, you're tired—tired and high.
He hums in response, and you fall asleep in his arms.
Eddie can definitely get used to this, he thinks. He finds you lovely like this. You have a little bit of drool on the corner of your mouth, and you'll totally freak out about it later. He's not sure why. All he knows is that you'll pitch a playful fit if he pokes fun at you. You'll do that thing where you get all pouty, and Eddie just wants to kiss your lips, which is something he cannot do. So he'll stick with not making fun of you.
You're softly snoring, and Eddie can't help but think that this is domesticity—this is what it's all about. For the first time, Eddie knows what he wants. He wants to wake up to you clinging onto him like a koala, and he wants to wipe away your drool, and he wants to get up and make breakfast for you.
"Baby," He whispers. It's gentle, like he doesn't want to wake you up, but he knows you'll be upset if you're late to class. You groan and murmur: "Five more minutes."
He wants to say okay, but it's eight o'clock, and you need to leave in twenty minutes.
"Baby," He repeats, softly shaking you, "It's eight."
You nearly spring up, "Eight?!" You ask, exasperated. "Eddie," You whine, "Why didn't you get me up earlier?"
"Because last night you told me to get you up at eight," He shrugs.
"I said eight at the latest, Eddie." You frown and cross your arms. And then you feel it—there's drool on your face. You furiously wipe at the side of your mouth, growing more embarrassed by the moment. You get up, grab your clothes, and head to the bathroom. It's pretty cramped in there; you make do. You splash cold water on your face, grab your toothbrush, and brush your teeth for undoubtedly shorter than two minutes. Your fingers comb through your hair, and you call it a day.
You lean against Eddie's doorframe, "Funny seeing you here." You smirk, and then your face heats up when you realize he's shirtless. Then, you can't stop staring at the plethora of scars that litter his body. What the fuck?
"Like what you see?" He asks, flashing his teeth. Then, his expression drops as he realizes that you're not enjoying the view; you're wondering what the fuck happened to him.
"I'll tell you in the car," He mutters. This is it—this is the end of any kind of chance he had with you. You won't believe him. Hell, he didn't believe it for a while.
On the drive to school, he tells you. He tells you everything, keeping his eyes on the road. He's too scared of your rejection. At the end of the story, all you have to say is: "I believe you, Eddie."
You're parked when he speaks next, and the three minutes in between feel like torture.
"You do?"
You can't make out his expression, "Eddie," You laugh out, though nothing's humorous, "If you told me the loch ness monster was real, I would believe you."
"Babe, this is far weirder than the loch ness monster. There is another dimension, baby."
The nickname has another butterfly escaping from your mouth as you smile.
"What's got you so happy?" He laughs as you try to hide your grin.
"Nothing," You shake your head. Eddie doesn't believe you.
"Are you happy that I almost died? What is it?"
You turn sheepish, fidgeting with your rings, "You called me baby again."
"You're cute as a button."
Class is spent yawning and passing notes to one another. Eddie's good at drawing, and he draws you amazing, stupid doodles. You keep every single one. They are hung up all over your room.
"Worst room decor ever," Eddie mumbles as he enters your room.
"Best room decor ever," You correct him.
"I can't believe you kept all of this. All of my shitty drawings."
You furrow your brows, "They're not shitty, Eddie. Don't say things like that."
He laughs at your sincerity, "Okay, baby, I won't."
There's no way he's not saying it just to fluster you at this point.
"Stop," You whine.
"Stop what, baby?"
You huff as you plop onto your bed, "Calling me baby."
"I thought you liked it when I called you baby, baby."
"I like it when you do it sincerely, Edison."
"Edison?!" His brows jump, "Isn't that the dude who invented the lightbulb?"
"All those years in high school did pay off!" You clap, "Good job Eddie!"
He scowls, "Funny. Real amusing," You giggle, "Yeah, keep it up. Keep laughing at the freak."
You pout, "I'm not laughing at the freak. I'm laughing at the smart boy I met on my first day of college."
Fuck, Eddie wants to kiss the pout right off of you. He settles for sitting next to you.
"Don't pout, baby," He rests his head on your shoulder, "I'm not worth pouting over."
This time, you actually pout, "What do you mean 'not worth pouting over?'"
"C'mon, sweetheart," He sighs, "I'm not worth much in general."
"You are worth so much, Eddie. And I'm not just saying that. You mean so much to me. You think I'd pin anyone's drawings up all around my room?"
He hides his head further into your neck.
"Hey, don't get all shy on me now." You chide, though the words have no backbone to them.
"'M getting shy on you. Not gonna stop until you're done being sappy." He murmurs into your neck—his hair is tickling you. You cant find it in you to care.
"C'mon," You whine, "Show me your pretty face, Eddie."
"No." He nuzzles further into your neck, "Called me pretty." He's soft-spoken—it's an intimate moment. An intimate moment that's unlike any other you've had. A boy is on your shoulder, and you built up the courage to call him pretty.
"You are pretty," You affirm.
"So are you."
You smile, butterflies growing stronger.
"You want to have lunch together?" Your voice crackles over the phone, and Eddie is unable to make out what you're saying.
"Sorry, what was that, sweetheart?"
"Edward," You state, "Would you like to get lunch with me?"
He frowns, "I can't."
You frown, too, "Why not?"
"An old friend is in town. I'm getting lunch with her at the best diner ever." He explains
"Oh!"
"Yeah, I'm really excited to see her." He continues.
"Okay, okay, we get it. You can't wait to see your BFF." Your tone is slightly more bitter than you intend, and Eddie picks up on it.
"What? You jealous?" He teases.
"Furthest thing from it, Edwin."
"Edwin?!"
"Goodbye, Edmund." You hang up.
Dejected, you walk to the cafeteria.
It's only been a year since Eddie last saw Chrissy, and he's missed her like hell. Back in the little diner, they laugh over nothing and everything.
He gets a call in the middle of Chrissy telling a story.
"Baby?" He answers, and Chrissy lights up.
"Can you get me something? A burger, maybe?"
And, of course, he'll bring you a burger. He'd bring you the sun and the moon if it meant he could see you smile.
"No," He declares, "No, I will not do that."
"Did I do something, Eddie? Sorry for calling you Edwin earlier. If that's what you're upset about."
"I'm joking around, baby. I'll definitely bring back a burger for you. I'll get you all the burgers you want. I'll fill my van with burgers, even." He twirls his hair. Chrissy can't stop grinning.
"Love you forever, Eds. I gotta go now."
"Why?" Eddie wines.
"'Cause there's a really cute boy walking towards me. Bye!"
And before he can respond, you've hung up.
"So..." Chrissy starts, "Who're you calling 'baby?'"
"Nobody," Eddie goes red, staring at his fries.
"C'mon, Eddie," She pleads, "I told you all about my girlfriend. Time to tell me about your partner."
"I'm not dating anybody, actually," Eddie frowns the slightest bit, "We're just friends."
"Okay, so," Chrisssy claps her hands together, "While I am here, I will be rolling out my master plan: Get Eddie Together With The Love of His Life. I'll figure out a way to shorten it."
Eddie's eyes widen, "Woah! Love of my life? A little too far, Chris."
"I saw that smile," She giggles, "Don't try and hide it from me."
"Reminder to self," You say, walking to class, "Just because he's cute does not mean he's interesting."
"Where's the pretty boy?"
You turn around to see Eddie jogging toward you. He holds a box that has your name written on it, next to it, a big heart.
"He was boring," You scoffed, "Wouldn't stop talking about baseball. Who even cares?"
Eddie throws his head back, "Exactly! Who fucking cares?! Not me, I'll tell you that much."
You laugh, going to snatch the box from his hands. "Mmm. Burbger."
“Burbger?” He laughs.
You nod, “Mhm.”
"Good burger," You sigh, "How come you've never taken me there? To the diner?" You clarify.
"Never felt the need to," He shrugs, and it hurts your feelings.
"Cool."
He nods, oblivious to his hurtful words.
You don't drive home with Eddie for the first time in weeks. You know you're acting childish, but he really did hurt your feelings.
Eddie still doesn't think anything is wrong until you don't text him goodnight. You always say goodnight to him.
'Baby,'
He texts you,
'I'm not sure what I did to hurt you, but I'm sorry.'
You don't answer, and his anxieties grow by the second.
What did he do?
"Eddie?" Chrissy croaks, "It's two in the morning."
"It's actually two fifty-eight," He corrects.
"Eddie," She scolds, "You know I love you, but shut the fuck up and tell me why you called me."
"I kind of fucked up big time. A big ole fucky-wucky on my part, Chris."
"Eddie, stop speaking in riddles and tell me what's happening."
"She won't talk to me—she didn't say goodnight, she won't answer my texts, she didn't come home with me today," He rattles off.
"Woah, woah, woah cowboy." Chrissy sighs, "Do you have any clue why she might not have said goodnight?"
"Because I fucked up?" He asks.
"Obviously. Do you know why you fucked up?"
"No. I don't. I have not a clue, Chris." He sighs, "Not a clue."
"Okay. Unhelpful," Chrissy groans, "Recall today's events."
"I woke up at seven forty-six," He begins.
"I meant your interactions with her, dimwit."
"She asked if I wanted to have lunch," he begins recounting his day, "Then she asked for a burger. I gave her the burger, and she said it was delicious. She then asked me why I never took her to the diner, and I said I never felt the need to. That's it."
Chrissy rolls her eyes, sighing, "You told her you never felt the need to?"
Eddie senses he's made a big mistake, "...Yes?"
"You idiot. Obviously, this diner is special to you, right?"
Eddie rubs his hand over his face, "I told her it's the best diner ever."
"Idiot! Idiot, idiot, idiot! You are so incredibly foolish, Edward."
"I know," He groans, "I'm going to apologize now."
"Goodnight, Munson."
"Night, Cunningham."
You wake up in a haze. Sitting up, you make a mental note to never cry yourself to sleep again. The first thing you do is check your phone.
Eddie's text lights up your screen.
'Hey,' It beings, 'Sorry for saying I never felt the need to take you to the diner. It's a really special place for me. I don't go often because I need it to remain special. I need it to stay stuck in time. I've only ever gone with my friends from before you, but I'll take you soon. I promise.'
It doesn't come off the best, but you know what he means. You're new to his life, and he wants to keep the diner old.
'Thanks, Eds :) I forgive you,' You reply.
'See you at school,' You finish.
Eddie walks into the lobby with a wild grin, searching for you. You're on your phone, probably playing that stupid game he likes to make fun of.
Eddie pulls out the seat opposite yours. You look up and smile.
"You look like the Cheshire Cat," You smirk.
"He went... that way," He puts on a goofy voice, reciting the creepy cat.
"Who did?" You play along.
"The white rabbit."
You widen your eyes, "He did?"
"Who did?" He furrows his brows.
"The white rabbit," You chuckle.
He takes a deep inhale, "What rabbit?"
Laughing, you continue, "But you just said— oh dear."
Eddie stands up, extending his arm toward you, "Can you stand on your head?"
You giggle, taking his hand.
You grab lunch together. Eddie's not ready to take you to the diner, so you settle for the small pizza place next to campus. Eddie nearly inhales his food, and you laugh when he chokes on his soda. You feel an overwhelming sense of joy when it comes to him, and you know the butterflies are making their way out.
On the drive to his house, he taps along with a song you've just played, and you're bubbling with excitement that he just listened to music that wasn't metal. Let alone a piece you showed him.
"I could get used to your music," He pauses, inhales deeply, then continues. "I think."
You laugh—you're always laughing with him, it seems.
You find yourself on the couch with a bowl of popcorn, ready to watch Scream. Eddie plops down next to you when the movie starts. About five minutes in, he pretends to yawn and reaches his arm around your shoulder. You giggle, leaning into him, and the butterflies flap their wings rapidly. You fall asleep on Eddie's side.
"Lovebirds," You hear a voice boom, "Go to bed."
You groggily open your eyes and look up to, what seems to be, the voice of god. It's Wayne, you realize.
Eddie's face is bright red after his uncle's words register.
'Lovebirds.'
You seem unaffected by the term; secretly, excitement bubbles in your stomach.
"Didn't I tell you to fall asleep in a bed? Not on my couch?"
"Sorry, Wayne," You mumble.
He pats you on the shoulder, "Just don't want you two to have back pains before you're supposed to."
"Thanks, Wayne," You murmur as you shuffle to Eddie's room.
"Of course," The man grumbles.
"Told you he likes you," Eddie mumbles into your hair as he presses a chaste kiss to your head.
"Kids in love," Wayne mutters, sitting on the couch.
Fucking midterms. You genuinely cannot stand them. You've been up late every night this week studying and want to bash your head in. You've barely had time to see Eddie outside of class, and it just makes everything ten times worse. You've talked to him over the phone, but nothing matched his touch. His warm, calloused hands would run up and down your arms when you were cold or up and down your sides when you lay together. You've missed his lingering kisses on your cheek and forehead.
You've also missed Wayne. You've come to understand how he shows love—just last week, he gave you your favorite candy, and you were gushing about it to Eddie.
Now, you sit in your room—the only light coming from your laptop, and the wrapper of Wayne's gift is crumpled on your desk's side. Your phone buzzes, and you smile at the stupid picture of Eddie that lights up your screen.
"Hello?" Eddie says in a goofy voice, "Hellooo?" He asks again.
"Hi," You respond with a giddy smile.
"Hi, I'm lookin' for a real pretty girl. She told me that this is her phone number. She's brilliant and sweet, and my uncle Wayne loves her."
"Yeah? Lookin' for her?"
"I sure am."
"I'll let her know in about an hour—when she finishes studying."
Eddie pouts, hoping you'll hear it, "Why?"
It doesn't go unnoticed, "'Cause she's gotta study."
"Booo!" He yells. You hang up.
"Hello?" You ask with a smile.
"Hi."
"Someone told me a very handsome guy was calling for me. Said he's got cool rings and can play guitar."
"Oh!" You can hear him chuckle, "I do recall that conversation."
"So," You take a deep breath, "What'd ya want to talk about?"
"Politics, the weather, the deal with the DMV, and how I hate my wife."
You laugh, "So I've got 90's stand-up comic Eddie on the line?"
"Sure do, sweetheart."
You fall asleep on the phone.
"Eds," You whisper.
He turns the music down, "Yes?"
"What if I fail?"
"Baby," He puts his hand on your thigh, and the butterflies won't stop flapping their wings, "You're not gonna fail. You've been studying all week. If anything, I'm going to fail."
You roll your eyes, "I told you you should've studied."
Eddie rolls his eyes back, snatching his hand away from you, "I told you the only way I was going to study unless it was with you."
"Oh, so this is my fault?"
"If I fail, it's your fault, sweetheart."
"How do you think you did?" Eddie finished long before you. Your whole body is filled with bubbling nerves.
"I don't know," You respond, not daring to look anywhere but forward, "I feel like I'm going to faint." You murmur.
"Okay, baby." Eddie grabs your shoulders and runs his hands up and down your arms, "Take a deep breath. In... and out."
You don't care that you might be blocking the hallway—the students can find a way around you. All that matters is Eddie is helping you calm down—his hands are on you, and his head is resting on yours.
"You feelin' a little better, baby?" He asks after a few minutes.
"Feelin' a lot better."
"I'm glad."
He kisses your shoulder, and you swoon.
"What's on your mind?" Eddie asks, bringing the joint to his mouth. It's a roach at this point—he still insists on smoking it.
"Nothing," You answer—he can tell you're lying. He says it, and you roll your eyes, "Eddie, I'm not lying."
"Seriously, babe." He sits up, "What's goin' on in that pretty little head of yours?"
"First off, rude." You cross your arms with a sad expression, "Second, nothing. I am literally thinking about what I'm going to have for dinner."
"Food. You're going to have food. Now, what are you actually thinking about?"
It's strange that Eddie is being so adamant about this. Usually, if you ask him to leave something alone, he'll leave it alone. It's as if he knows that you've got butterflies in every crevice of your body—that you like him—and he's trying to coax it out of you. You're unsure why.
"What are you thinking about?" You shoot back.
"Not fair. I asked you first." He pouts.
"And I asked you second." You shrug with a smug smirk.
"Yeah, so you should answer first. I should answer second." He reasons.
"I'm thinking about a person," You begin, "A boy." It's all you supply.
"A boy?" Eddie asks, suddenly growing insecure. His crush on you isn't a new thing. He was sure he was in love with you the second you said he looked like James Hetfield. He would swear on his life that he liked you the second he saw you.
"Yes, Edward, a boy. Okay, your turn. What're you thinking about?"
"Chrissy."
It's painfully apparent that you're hurt, "Chrissy? Who's Chrissy?"
Part of Eddie is happy you seem jealous. The other part of him feels terrible.
"Chrissy is the girl I went to the diner with."
You nod dramatically, "Oh, yeah. Of course. Of course."
He can't hold it in any longer, "Jealous?"
Your eyes are saucers, "What?"
"What?" He parrots.
"What makes you think I'm jealous?"
"Just a hunch," He shrugs.
"No," You cross your arms, "Why do you think I'm jealous? And what exactly am I jealous of?" You demand.
"Well, the change in body language when I said Chrissy would suggest that you are jealous. Jealous of Chrissy and I's relationship."
"One, the correct wording would be 'Chrissy and me,'" You quip—Eddie rolls his eyes, "Second, you sound ridiculous. You sound like you're stupid, but you're trying to be smart."
"Don't call me stupid," Eddie crosses his arms, "I'm brilliant. Thank you very much."
"I didn't call you stupid, Eds," You pout.
"Stop pouting," He pokes your jutted-out lip, "It makes me want to—" He cuts himself off by bringing the joint back to his lips.
"It makes you want to what?" You ask, secretly hoping the answer is what you've been wishing for.
"It makes me want to do something I shouldn't do."
"Yeah?" You smile, "Like what."
"Sweetheart," He sighs, "I have a feeling that you know. And I'm not sure why you insist on hearing it from my mouth."
"I don't know what you mean," You feign innocence.
"I think you know exactly what I mean." He whispers into your ear, and you shudder at the sudden closeness.
You turn, "C'mon, Ed's," You're so close that you're sure the butterflies will float out of your mouth and go straight in his, "Don't make me say it."
"Well, I don't want to say it, either," He mutters.
"So... where does that leave us?"
Three beats of silence go by, and a butterfly escapes when he puts his hand over yours.
"Can I kiss you?" His voice is a whisper.
"Yes."

Day 7 of @steddie-week
Prompt: Free Space
It all started February, 8th. Eddie found a card in his locker after lunch. It was plain except for a comic-style bumblebee and a speech bubble with the phrase 'Bee mine'. First he thought this was some sort of stupid prank by his band mates, Gareth would come up with something like this. But after opening it and reading what was written in it, he wasn't so sure anymore.
Eddie.
I know, it's not Valentine's Day yet, which is why I'm not asking you to be my valentine. But be sure, I will come the time.
Isn't the bee cute?
The handwriting was too neat to be any of his friends'. God, what if this was some delusional girl with a crush on the school freak, the gay school freak. He better start finding the words to let her down easy.
Two day later, Eddie found a card in his backpack. What the hell, who had put that there? This one wasn't one you could open. The front was white and said 'Save the Date' in baby pink, cursive letters.
Of course, I'm not planing our wedding. I'm not that insane. But, you do have a date on the 14th. Make sure you're free, will you?
Tacos or pizza?
Tacos all the way, but who was this? Eddie had never had a secret admirer, let alone a date. Was this really for real or just a stupid prank in the end. He found, that he was hoping this was real. Even if he'd let down a girl, at least someone had been interested in him this way for once.
The 12th came around and so did the third card. He came home from band practice to find it in the mailbox of his uncle's trailer. The envelope it was in was plain white, the only thing on it was 'Eddie.' written in the by now so familiar handwriting.
The card was hand drawn this time. It was a sleeping bat hanging from the branch of a tree and a small red chested bird on the same branch. The drawing wasn't extravagant, but still pretty damn good. The inside read a joke that only a true nerd would really get. Maybe his admirer was nerdy, too? This was getting pretty interesting.
Be the bat man to my robin ♡
On Valentine's Day Eddie expected someone or at least a card to pop up at every corner. All day, though, he didn't get anything. He didn't even know where his stupid date would be, so he needed to get something, right?
It was 6:30 pm, when he heard a knock on the trailer's door. He jumped up excitedly, only to be disappointed when he opened the door to see Steve Harrington. Don't get him wrong, he thought Steve was beautiful and– GOD– he would date the living shit out of him. But there was no way Steve 'Straight Boy' Harrington had a thing for him. Hell, they barely exchanged nice words.
"Kids aren't here. Didn't they specify where to pick them up again? I think it's Max’ this time," he mentioned instead of greeting Steve, pointing at the trailer across the street where Max and her mother lived. "Not here to pick up the kids, here to pick up you," Steve responded with a cheeky smile, which left Eddie's face with a frown of confusion.
He was handed a small bouquet of flowers, all of them unique and unusual and definitely not some cheesy ones like roses. "Who put you up to this? I need to know, man. I've been getting these cards all week and I need to tell her... well, I need to talk to her. Steve only smiled wider, pointing at the small card in the bouquet. It finally read 'Be my Valentine' and contrary to the others he'd gotten it was just a basic, red and pink Valentine's Day card you could get anywhere.
You want tacos, don't you?
- Steve
Eddie’s eyes widened as he looked back up at the man in front of him. "You're straight," was all he said, quietly and calmly. He had to prepare himself for a disappointment, this had to be a prank after all. "Thank you for the diagnosis, Dr. Munson. But, I think you're wrong there. Look, maybe I shouldn't have made it this cheesy and silly, but I that's how I am, okay. And it's better you know that before you agree to go out with me. So? Tacos?" Steve was clearly pretty insecure and nervous, but he was also dressed nicely and his hair was looking even better than usually. And he knew he would pick tacos. "You're into me? You wanna date me?" Eddie asked, still in shock from it all. Steve nodded. "Let me get my jacket, you're driving," Eddie responded instantly, earning a relieved chuckle from Steve. "And, of course, were having tacos!" he called from his bedroom over the noises of someone looking for something specific in a huge mess.

*This is my first EVER published fic. Also English is not my first language so please don't be too harsh on me *
Fat Bottomed Girl
Eddie winked at you as he took a sip of his drink at the end of the last song of Corroded Coffins’ set. Your friends noticed and nudged you. You rolled your eyes, Eddie was only trying to prove a point but you wouldn’t take the bait. He took his mic back.
Here’s a last one, for someone special, she’ll know who she is.
Another wink before the band starts playing. The first notes sounded familiar but …
Are you gonna take me home tonight?
No, he didn’t really …
Aah, down beside that red fire light
He did, he actually was singing that song…
Are you gonna let it all hang out? Fat bottomed girls You make the rocking world go 'round
He never stopped looking at you, same for all your friends who were standing with their jaws on the floor. You tried to keep your composure. He knew how to push your buttons but you wouldn’t give him this satisfaction.
Hey! I was just a skinny lad Never knew no good from bad
He was strutting on the stage holding his microphone. His eyes never left you even as he walked to the other side of the stage.
But I knew life before I left my nursery Left alone with big fat Fanny She was such a naughty nanny Heap big woman, you made a bad boy out of me
Your palms were sweating. You should have known better, Eddie never quit when he wants to prove something.
The day before at Eddie’s trailer.
Your best friend was laying on his bed, a notebook on his lap and a pen in his mouth. He was trying to finish a song before the concert. You were trying to finish your English homework but it was hard to concentrate when Eddie looked so …
"Are you alright?"
You notice your eyes were staring at his lips around the pen. You tried to hide the blush that appeared on your face by lifting your book as if you were trying to see detail in it. Eddie wasn’t oblivious to your masquerade. He took the book from your hands and put it on his nightstand. His smile was devious.
"You were staring, again." he smiled at you.
"Was not."
He moved his things to the side of the bed before getting closer to you. You swallowed with difficulty. He was so pretty. Annoyingly pretty. When you came back home for the holidays you couldn’t wait to see your best friend. You two talked on the phone every day, he would sometimes sing to you. Those nights were your favorites. You felt so alone at college. Eddie was the best part of your days, even hours away he was always in your mind. It didn’t take long to realize the small crush you had for him got more intense. You were dreaming about him more and more, waking up in need of his touch. When those dreams didn’t leave you during the day you knew you had it bad. That brings you to his room that night. It was your first day back home and you basically ran to his place. He looked even better than you were remembering, and with all those fantasies you fed yourself with these last months, he was irresistible.
"What’s wrong? You are always chatty on the phone, but today you barely talked. You keep staring at me though. Do you have something on your mind?"
You. But you couldn’t tell him that, it would ruin everything. You’ve been friends for years now, he was the one introducing you to so many great fantasy books, and he is responsible for your plans, for college and after college. You owe him a lot. He put his hand on your knee. You tried to ignore the shiver he caused.
"You can tell me everything, you know that?"
You just nodded. You tried to think of something to tell him without telling him …
"Did you meet someone?"
Why would he say that?
"Don’t be ridiculous Eds." He crossed his arms.
"It’s not ridiculous, you seem … elsewhere so I was wondering if you were in love or something."
Hey, hey!
You get back into the present. Your friend, Stacy, grabbed your hand and yanked it.
He is so into you. He’s not into me.
Stacy couldn’t understand what it was like to look like you … No one made moves on you, and no one wanted you. The only men who flirted in the past only wanted one thing from you, and you were glad you didn't accept their invitations.
I've been singing with my band Across the wire, across the land I seen every blue eyed floozy on the way, hey
He had no right looking that good, every woman in the crowd was basically under his spell.
But their beauty and their style Went kind of smooth after a while Take me to them dirty ladies every time
Last night after he asked you if you were in love you didn’t know what to reply, you wanted to deny but you knew you couldn’t lie to him.
"I am."
"You are what? "
You sighed.
"In love."
He seemed surprised.
"That’s awesome Y/N ! Who is the lucky guy?"
You, only you Eddie.
"Just … someone. It’s not … he doesn’t like me that way. It’s unrequited."
You looked at your hands, unable to face him.
"How can you be so sure? You told him and he rejected you?"
"I just know it. It’s … I’m … me. "
"What do you mean?"
You lifted your head to look at him, his chocolate-brown eyes showed nothing but compassion and confusion.
"Eddie, come on. I’m fat."
"And?"
"And no one is attracted to fat women."
"That’s not true." You laughed with no humor in your voice.
"I’ve been fat almost all my life, I would know if men like fat women."
"Maybe you aren’t looking at the right places? I know for a fact that you are beautiful, inside and out. Any man would be lucky to have a chance to date you. You should try with the dude you are in love with. What is his name?"
Eddie Munson, maybe you know him?
"It doesn’t matter, it won’t be a thing, ever." You made a move with your hand to signify it was done.
"I will prove it to you." You looked at him, head tilted a bit.
"Prove what?"
He smiled with a devious smile.
"Men can be into fat women. Are you coming to my show tomorrow night?"
You nodded, he knew that already. You had college friends coming from Indy to visit you.
"You’ll see. Tomorrow you'll see."
And he refused to say more. You got home not long after that. Which brought you to the concert and his plan was now clear.
C'mon
He jumps on the stage and gets as close as he can to the edge of it to sing the rest of the chorus. He was smiling while singing. He was way too proud of himself.
Oh, won't you take me home tonight? Oh, down beside your red fire light Oh, and you give it all you got Fat bottomed girls You make the rocking world go 'round Fat bottomed girls You make the rocking world go 'round
His dance moves weren’t helping your infatuation with him. He was sexy, and he knew it. He was very confident on stage like he was an entirely new person.
Hey, listen here Now I got mortgages on homes I got stiffness in my bones Ain't no beauty queens in this locality, I tell you Oh, but I still get my pleasure Still got my greatest treasure Heap big woman, you done made a big man out of me
He jumps out off the stage to stand just in front of you, so close you could feel the sweat on his curls that were caressing your face. You were forgetting where you were. You were alone with him at this moment.
Now get this Are (I know) you gonna take me home tonight? (Please)
He was begging, actually begging on his knees. You were laughing at his antics. Did he know what he was doing to you?
Oh, down beside that red fire light Are you gonna let it all hang out? Fat bottomed girls You make the rocking world go 'round (yeah) Fat bottomed girls You make the rocking world go 'round
The rest of the band continued to play the song but Eddie stopped singing. He got close enough to whisper in your ear.
"Are you gonna take me home tonight, sweetheart? "
You looked at him, not understanding where he was going with his question. He was smiling.
"I told you I would prove to you that men could be into fat women. I’m extremely into you. Been in love with you for years. I didn’t know how to tell you, I guess it was a little bit … theatrical. "
You laughed. His smile got bigger.
"Did I read the situation wrong?"
You just looked at him smiling.
"Kiss me." your voice was low, you couldn't believe you had the nerve to say that.
"With pleasure."
He kissed you slowly, the crowd cheered around you but you didn’t care. He stopped the kiss and smiled at you shyly.
"You didn’t answer my question, are you gonna take me home tonight?"
"I’ll go anywhere with you."
He kissed your cheek and took your hand in his. Eddie was in love with you and it was just the beginning.

Here we go! The scene that started it all. The reason for the fic. Yes, the story is based on the song “Low Key in Love” by The Struts ft. Paris Jackson, but this was the scene that kept replying in my head until I wrote it. Also, you’ll need tissues. I cry every time I read this, sooo...

Let it not be said that that Alexander Harrington, known to his friends as Xander, didn’t know how to throw a party. When The Kings got signed his son’s senior year of high school, he threw the biggest bash the town had ever seen.
He had to invite everyone, of course. Though if he had had his way only the best people would have been able to come. But as he looked around his home satisfied, he figured it was a good thing to let the lowly masses see for once how the other half lived. Let them seethe in their jealousy and envy.
Steve on the other hand was miserable. He hated it. He hated Tommy. He hated Billy. And fuck it, let’s throw hating Jonathan in there as a treat. Because seriously what. The. Honest. Fuck? Where had he been hiding all that talent? Under a fucking rock? It wasn’t fair. Jonathan was naturally talented where Steve had to work so hard to get the moves right. Something Billy was always sure to mock.
He was sitting in his living room watching everyone have fun without him. People had long since stopped congratulating him on his record deal hours ago. Steve vaguely wondered where his father was. Probably smoozing with Tommy’s dad. Steve scoffed. He knew Alexander Harrington wouldn’t be deigning to talk to Joyce Byers or Neil Hargrove. One was working poor, the other was straight up trailer trash.
He could see Joyce talking to Jonathan in the corner of the room, rubbing his back and muttering comforting promises. Steve didn’t even think his mother had even stayed past greeting the parents of her son’s band before fucking off to get drunk off her ass in some fancy hotel bar. Portia Harrington did not mingle.
Steve got up and wandered in the direction of his room. Well, he tried to wander, but it was more like a beeline because no one even questioned his path or stopped him to say hello. In his own fucking house. Yeah. He was done.
He opened the door to his room and was shocked to see someone was already in it. The other boy had long brown, curly hair and deep soulful eyes. Steve gulped. He had never thought about how attractive boys could be until that moment.
Maybe there had been some fleeting crushes and even more fleeting glances at boys in the shower room or hot actors. But until this moment with this boy, Steve never really thought too deeply about it. He sure the hell was now, though.
“Hey!” the other boy said, whirling around to face him. “If it isn’t the man of the hour!”
Steve could smell the alcohol from here, but he wasn’t sure if it was that the boy had been drinking or if it was coming from the shirt the boy held in one of his hands. But now that he could see the boy’s face he knew exactly who it was.
“Munson, what the fuck are you doing in my room?” Steve spit out before his brain could catch up to his mouth.
Eddie blushed. His cheeks were already rosy with the alcohol but they burned red in embarrassment. “I was looking for the bathroom.”
Steve raised his eyebrow.
“Some asshole spilled drink on my favorite Dio shirt and I was trying to find a way to clean it,” Eddie said with a winsome grin, he held up the shirt to show him. Then he tried to take a step closer but tripped stumbling straight into Steve’s arms. “Did anyone tell you you have really pretty eyes?”
It was Steve’s turn to blush as he held Eddie up. “No. If anyone compliments me, it’s usually the hair.” He paused and cocked his head thoughtfully. “Or the ass.”
Eddie hummed appreciatively. “Both are pretty amazing,” he agreed, standing up enough to put one hand in Steve’s hair and the other on his ass.
Steve’s stomach swooped.
“You like that, pretty boy?” Eddie asked, pulling Steve closer.
He nodded and Eddie leaned forward to kiss him. Steve had been kissed and had kissed several girls up to this point, but this? This was on a whole other continent. It felt good.
Steve’s hands immediately went for Eddie’s hair, having been wanting to know what it felt like for years. And it was softer and silkier than he could have imagined.
Eddie broke off their kiss and Steve whined his loss. “Who knew Stevie boy liked the boys.”
Steve pressed forward and recaptured Eddie’s lips. Their hands immediately went for each other’s clothes, grasping and tugging as they tried to get at skin. They tumbled toward the bed as they scrambled to get Steve’s shirt and their pants off.
They land on the bed with a thump and a giggle. Steve’s shirt had gone and Eddie’s pants were unbuttoned.
“God, you’re gorgeous,” Steve breathed, straddling over Eddie’s hips.
Eddie grinned, reaching up for him. “Then come get me, big boy.”
Steve leaned down to kiss him again, just then the door slammed opened and Steve’s dad stood at the door. There was no mistaking Eddie for attacking Steve, not with Steve on top. It was very clear that both boys were very into what was happening too.
Mr Harrington pulled Steve off of Eddie throwing him to the ground. He wasn’t a beefy guy, but Xander Harrington boxed to keep in shape. Tossing a surprised Steve took very little effort on his part. He grabbed Eddie and hauled the drunk young man out the back door. He tossed him onto the cold hard pavement around the swimming pool.
“Get the fuck out of my house!” Mr Harrington sneered. “And if I see you back here before we leave for LA, just know I’ve got a shotgun and the best lawyers in the state.”
Steve who had been following close behind, rushed to Eddie’s side. He looked around for help, but of the few people milling about by the pool, none of them were paying this little drama any mind.
“And no son of mine will be a queer, do you understand?” Mr Harrington roared.
Steve tried to help Eddie to his feet, but Eddie kept shrugging him off.
“Eddie!” Steve murmured. “Just...please!”
Eddie looked over at Steve as if seeing him for the first time. He could tell that Steve hadn’t planned any of this. That Steve was just as distressed as he was about Xander Harrington’s rage. He let Steve help him to his feet and whispered. “Run away with me. Come find me tomorrow at the park behind the community pool.”
Steve nodded, a small, barely there movement. But it was enough. Eddie staggered away from the party, head pounding louder than his heart.
*
Steve showed up at the park picnic table, backpack slung over his shoulder, Eddie’s shirt in his hand. He managed to get it cleaned and dried so he could return it.
Eddie was already there nursing a hangover of epic proportions. He had dark circles under his eyes like bruises and red, puffy eyes. He whirled around to see Steve standing awkwardly at the edge of the trees.
“What do you want, Harrington?” Eddie snarled from the pain in his head.
Steve hesitated a bit before lurching forward with the shirt. “Um...you left this at my place last night. You said it was your favorite so I wanted to get it back to you.”
“So that’s where it went,” Eddie said, taking it from Steve gingerly, unsure were this bout of kindness was coming from.
“You don’t remember leaving it last night?” Steve asked, his voice cracking.
“Fuck, man,” Eddie sneered. “I drank so much last night I couldn’t even remember my own name this morning.”
Steve lips quiver. “You don’t remember any of it?”
Eddie snapped his fingers. “Wait I do remember being thrown out for kissing a guy. You wouldn’t have had anything to do with that, would you?”
Steve gulped taking a step back. “No! Of course not.”
Eddie eyed him warily. He could tell Steve was lying. But it was a strange kind of reaction. Like Steve was just as terrified of him, as Eddie was of Steve. That couldn’t be right.
“Whatever, man,” Eddie sneered. “Just go.”
Steve took a step toward him and Eddie leveled him with a glare. Steve stopped in his tracks, tears welling up in his eyes.
“You really don’t remember any of it?” he whispered.
“Not a god damned thing,” Eddie bit out. He was starting to worry that he had seen something he shouldn’t have or done something he shouldn’t have. Because Steve was really starting to freak out.
There was a snap of a twig beyond the tree line and Steve startled like a wounded animal. He turned around and ran the opposite direction of the noise and Eddie tilted his head.
What on earth had that been about?
Jeff came out of the trees with McDonald’s and hot coffee. “Best hangover cure there ever was.”
Eddie nodded and took his food from his friend. Jeff spotted the shirt next to him.
“Oh hey, man, you found it!” he said excitedly.
Eddie just nodded and munched quietly on his food. And as he ate, his head felt better but there was a great big black void where his memories of last night were concerned.
Over the next couple of days he kept expecting Harrington to come back, but the boy remained absent. He didn’t even know why he was waiting. Or what he was waiting for. But he felt it like a hole in his chest.
The next time he saw Steve Harrington in person was when he was introducing himself to the band at the sound check ten years later at the Love Loud concert as if they were total strangers. Just further proof the Munson Doctrine is never wrong.

mutant mayhem headcanons because i am unhinged here we go:
donnie is a late bloomer (an explanation why he’s the only brother that hasn’t had his voice broken yet) and ofc in true brotherly fashion the others absolutely rip into him about it
raph told mikey once as little kids that the reason his head is shaped like a watermelon is becuase splinter dropped him on his head as a baby and mikey cried so hard he threw up
leo and donnie are HUGE anime fans. they LOVE dragon ball z and once splinter found the live action movie dvd in the trash and brought it home as a surprise and leo and donnie had to pretend they liked it so now raph and mikey tease them both and make them watch it with their dad even though it’s SO painful (and ofc splinter is oblivious lol)
raph got his front tooth knocked out after he was certain he could skateboard across a sewer pipe upside down on his hands (he could not)
mikey and donnie prank call random businesses together they find in the yellow pages and are really good at doing voices
raph is a big fan of jackass. and it shows. he often times ropes mikey into whatever stunt he’s trying to replicate
they all have wrestling personas after watching old WWE together. leo is Consequenzes, raph is The Red Fury, donnie is Bone Crusher 2000 and mikey is Captain Die - they picked them when they were like, 9 and there’s no take backs
mikey and raph spray paint the tunnels together and make some pretty decent art. splinter is fine with it as long as they don’t make anything crude, which, as teenage boys, they absolutely do. there’s a tunnel deep in the sewers that just says ‘BOOBS LOL’
mikey is one of those kids that’s amazing at any school subject, he just doesn’t care for learning so he doesn’t apply himself at all
raph is second most smartest next to donnie. he plays chess with donnie, and he says it’s only because nobody else can or will, but he secretly enjoys it
leo is dyslexic as hell. it frustrates him, as a perfectionist, but his brothers often help him when he’s struggling
splinter made them their weapons! but raph went behind his back and sharpened his sais without him knowing (cos a sai is supposed to be blunt but ended up in donnie’s leg somehow in the trailer so. ouch)
mikey and leo both have braces, leo just wears a nighttime retainer. after raph knocked his tooth out, donnie went about bragging that he had the most perfect teeth out of all his brothers
they’re all HoH (cos their turtles and turtles have terrible hearing above water) which is why they constantly talk loudly and over each other and splinter who has great hearing, because he’s a rat, has to put up with this lol. and they don’t know they’re HoH until later on when they’re older and donnie is like “oooohhhh right yeah that makes sense”
donnie has terrible vision, being shortsighted, he’s tried to create contacts for himself in his prescription for fighting convenience but has been pretty hesitate in creating something that goes inside his eyeballs
they made a band together called Chemical Terrapins even though none of them can play instruments but they do have one of those tiny baby toy keyboards that they found in the trash once and they all fought over who was gonna play it.. until they realised their hands were way too big for the keys lol
leo totally chose the name of the band because he’s an emo kid at heart </3
splinter taught them both english and japanese but they’re not entirely fluent
#ANYONE THAT WANTS TO ADD MORE PLEASE DO#I DONT CARE WHAT IT IS I JUST WANT HEADCANONS#i cannot wait for this movie oh my GOD#sobbing#tmnt mutant mayhem#teenage mutant ninja turtles mutant mayhem#tmnt 2023#tmnt 2k23#tmnt leonardo#tmnt Raphael#tmnt donatello#tmnt michelangelo#tmnt#teenage mutant ninja turtles headcanons#tmnt mutant mayhem headcanons#tmnt hc
