SUNATO BANDA : 2/10 - oh. a male. what an interesting breed… ok im joking. i love his little alliance with yaba omg ;-; he had little screentime and he actually was so smart. kinda cringed on the whole emo matsushita scene like “you use your hair to hide that disgusting soul of yours” oh ok … stop it… plz..

IPPEI OKI : 6.5/10 - “you were too sweet for this world, ippei.” honestly he was just anxious and sweet the entire time. it’s kinda similar to chota, he was sweet and nice but really didn’t stand out to me so much. sawry!!

AKANE HEIYA : 1/10 - oddball. sorry not sorry. why does everyone hate niragi for trying to do hanky panky with usagi but nobody mentions how akane tried to do hanky panky with arisu?? also the fact she advanced on aguni. idc if it’s reciprocated, i’m pretty sure she was in highschool just a few mins ago and aguni literally looks like he’s in his early-mid 30s.

ISAO SHIRABI (KING OF SPADES) : 1.5/10 - isao was lowkey fine in a way i honestly don’t know how to describe it. “then why does he have a 1.5???” BECAUSE HE HURT KUINA. i also found it funny when kuina tried getting his ass using a food cart shes so cute omg “How do i make this about kuina???” ahh rating

GINJI KYUMA (KING OF CLUBS) : 10/10 - i miss you kyuma come back… he was so iconic and cool. also caught me off guard on his introduction bc i thought he was just a shirtless guy who likes to flex his muscles but NO HE’S A FUCKING NUDIST???? HELLO?????? his band is so funny about it too like “i think you’re scaring them, man.” “yeah put some damn pants on!” LMFAOOOOO. his whole thing about his band like “in my band, we are all equal.” really got to me. kyuma cared about his friends just as much arisu cared about his. kyuma reminded me of arisu a lot. the memories with the band reminded me of arisu with karube and chota.

GOKEN KANZAKI : 8/10 - his ass really thought he could get usagi FAWK NO!!!!!!! anyway i thought that scene with him and maki where he goes like “i guess kyuma put his guard down” and maki replied “says you” and they both laughed made me feel emotional holy fuck I WANT TO HAVE A COOL BAND FRIENDSHIP WHERE WE ALL BELIEVE WE’RE EQUAL AND JUST LAUGH OFF EACH OTHERS MISTAKES??

UTA KISARAGI : 8/10 - lowkey the gossip girl of the group i know it. ok sawry not the time for hcs but COME ON. i dont have much favorite scenes with her, i just really enjoyed her friendship with the entire group.

‣ they are opposites when it comes to ideal date preferences!! chris would rather stay at home and relax, have a movie and/or game night, maybe even visiting a museum if he’s up to it! meanwhile mike wants to go outside and feel the fresh air, whether that be going to the beach and letting wolfie run wild or an amusement park and let chris watch as he spectacularly misses every shot at balloon darts LMAOO we don’t talk about that time okay…chris had to win the prize for him..mike was so far but so close he just needed a LITTLE bit more aim. ok im getting sidetracked ANYWAYS despite them being opposites when it comes to that, they end up usually having a great time! i say usually bc chris sometimes ends up getting pretty overstimulated if they’re in a crowded environment like that and he gets really snappy and curt when he’s feeling that way, most of the time he’ll ask to go home early and they’ll just relax there… chris goes from all jokey and sweet to “ok” “whatever” “yeppp” that’s usually a big glaring sign for mike…honestly they don’t count half of that as dates, they just hang out and have fun together yknow?!

‣ chris is still learning to not be scared of wolfie whenever he comes over to mikes apartment…i mean i can’t blame him. wolfie is BIG and well A WOLF!!!! (don’t ask how he’s even allowed in the apartment, magic) he’s often hesitant to get too close to wolfie in fear of getting bitten but mike insists that’s never gonna happen…“he’s a good boy” mike says as his previous couch was DESTROYEDD LMAOOO listen his behavior has been improving!! wolfie is such a sweetheart he’s always trying to get chris to pet him and sniff him and try to lay down infront or beside him..sometimes even whining at him and nudging his leg or arm like AWWEEEE baby boy don’t worry chris will cuddle with you eventually….mike can tell when wolfie is near because chris gets closer to him and grabs onto his arm LOLLL he does his best to ease chris though and show him that wolfie isn’t a big bad wolf…he’s just a little…energetic at times! they’ve gotten to the point where chris can pet him OCCASIONALLY so progress is progress!!! he does have quite a bit of photos of wolfie though we know you love him chris!!

‣ mike has a habit to always try and impress chris yknow hes not a show off BUTTTT he likes it when chris compliments him..perhaps a bit too much..his impulsive side REALLY starts showing through in those moments. like they could be going on a nature walk and there’s a big stream and instead of crossing the bridge he’d be like “hey chris look at this, wanna bet i can clear it one jump?” and before chris can even respond he jumps across it BARELYYY making it in the process LMAO chris would be all sarcastic like “wow mike. let me go ahead and call national geographic about this, this is ABSOLUTELY groundbreaking, they need to make a movie about this kind of stuff.” meanwhile chris is smirking to himself and shaking his head he’s dating a DUMBASS!!! but mike is chris’s dumbass so it’s okay…most the time mike pulls off stunts like that pretty smoothly but the times he doesn’t? oh lord chris NEVER forgets about them. chris laughs for a bit then feels kinda bad and asks him if he’s okay while still laughing at him LOLL mike tries to play it off like he’s fine meanwhile he can barely stand and is wincing in pain MIKE!!! chris will obviously get concerned if it seems like he’s legitimately hurt himself though, his goofy attitude is dropped INSTANTLY he goes straight into caring mode…

‣ they always have the most meaningless arguments when they’re bored istg it’s a stretch to even call it that because it is so unserious LMAOO they will really get into whether or not cereal is a soup or if a hot dog is a sandwich!! or who would win in a hypothetical scenario of 5000 chickens vs 50 humans…like it always is such an odd, weird topic but they enjoy debating each other like that!! half the time neither of them even believe in the side they’re standing for, like mike will be the most FIRMMM denier that water isn’t wet but he’ll go with it anyways. its entertaining to them and anyone who might witness it though, like how are you even coming up with these analogies and why are you trying to confuse each other so much so the other gives up LOLLLL the winner gets bragging rights AND a kiss hehe whenever chris wins he is ALWAYS sure to gloat just to tease and mikes like “alright alright you nerd you got me this time” with a sigh LMAOOO it’s okay he’s only a little butthurt he thought he was doing great until chris pointed out a mistake…chris is actually surprisingly good at debate when he’s not trying to confuse mike and claim a victory bc of that LOL

‣ chris takes so many photos of mike you’d swear he was a professional photographer!!! they’re usually nice ones but sometimes he’s feeling a bit mischievous and takes some 0.5 ones when he’s passed out drooling, looking like he just ran 20 marathons and sends it to him when he gets up LMAOO or he’ll literally go up to him and put the camera mere inches from his face and be like “smile!” he can’t even react in time and then chris shows it to him as his lock screen LOLL it does stroke mikes ego hearing chris talk about how good he looks in a photo though..well not the silly ones. he’s like “chris wait don’t send that to anyone” “TOO LATE!!!” (he didn’t send it to anyone but mike is trying to steal the phone from him now LMAOO) no chris is the best cameraman. he will hit the most LUDICROUS insane positions to get the right angle!! and hey mike is photogenic so that helps a bunch too hehe chris is a little jealous he thinks mike is just so effortless like that…when chris makes a joke about himself looking bad, mike replies like“what? i didn’t know you were a liar, chris” right mike like he is such a CUTIE PIEEE he struggles to see it unfortunately….mike gets a bit sad when he hears chris make jokes about himself like that because he is SO BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUTTT 😭😭😭😭😭

‣ mike wasn’t a cat liker until he met chris’s kitties��they are ADORABLE oh my goodness i can see why they changed his attitude so quickly!! he used to think cats were bitchy and weren’t loyal like dogs were (his dad always said that cats weren’t) so it took awhile but they grew on him pretty quick! at first he’d just kinda eyeball them and shoo them if they got too close…chris was like “they’re friendly man” and mike was like “yeah…” MIKE!!! BE NICE YOURE A GUEST!! they stayed away from him mostly and he stayed away from them…a mutual distance. that wasn’t until one time nova (chris’s black kitty) curled up next to mike and chris one night on the couch that he let her stay…i mean chris was petting nova and he’s not about to kick his own friends cat off the couch yknow? she was all purry and cuddly though and mike had to admit to himself “okay maybe shes a LITTLE cute…” and they started to grow on him since then..his gallery is still majority wolfie whenever he visits he takes some cute photos of them and pets them!!! chris’s other cat, a birman named sherbert, is a lot more shy around mike LOLLL she needs some more time to warm up despite how long they’ve been together…mike doesn’t get as many photos or videos of her but that doesn’t mean he loves her any less!! he asks about the cats often and says them and wolfie should have a play date!!! chris would rather not though he doesn’t know what wolfie might do to his precious babies 😓

‣ they are such flirts with each other, moreso in private than in public but oh my goddd GET A ROOM YOU TWO!!!! you’re even worse than josh and sam smh…it took chris awhile to not get so utterly flustered when mike would “jokingly” hit on him, he’d always be like “what the hell, man?” and start sweating like crazy and blushing LOLL mike found it so adorable, sure he’d play it off before they were together but he enjoyed it…he knew chris did too. chris was NOTTT subtle when he’d want to hang out with mike a lot, josh suspected something was up between the two but thought mike didn’t swing that way…and he also thought chris liked ashley, not mike. i mean chris did, he liked both of them! things were just…different with ash after that one night. regardless, they’d hang out pretty often and play games, sometimes watching movies but chris would always fall asleep midway through so not much conversation then LMAOOO but there was so much tension between them oh my GODDD it was so thick you could slice right through it…now theyre more comfortable around each other, with mike especially it is like innuendo city here jeez get your mind out of the GUTTER!! chris still gets flustered but he’s able to return the energy better hehe…mike finds him adorable regardless of whether he gets all awkward or not.

Anyways, that was a fun first day! Especially given my main povs are mostly in Red Team, which...well, I honestly did not expect them to have spiralled that hard the last half an hour? It was glorious to have witnessed though. Despite the frustrations and drawbacks, they really did claw it back?? Somehow??

I'm still sort of in a state of being overwhelmed, since I had like 14 tabs on and swapped between povs when I had to, and somehow that hit a level of stimulation that wasn't debilitating but just enriching for my brain which is one of the funniest things that came out from this.

We enjoyed seeing Charlie tryhard at being tactical??? We didn't realise until he mentioned it, that for a good 3 hours, he had not cracked a joke and went off being a spy and eavesdropper to help protect and give an advantage to his team. Like damn.

Carre was a GOAT?? HOLY SHIT???? And also, it was great that Cellbit managed to help bridge the communications between Carre and the rest of the team, after having gotten really great at spanish thanks to Roier. But man, that was unexpected but pleasant as they rallied with each other to fight back and complete the quests.

But my personal favourite moment is how BOLAS?!??!?! started fucking spiralling. The frustration had built up so much, the event pushed them SO HARD, that they threw out their Whole Ass character arcs out for EVERYONE IN THE TEAM TO HEAR. I am not sure if that was just them being meta so it's not actually a canon confession, BUT!! THE FACT THAT THEY DID!! THEY FUCKING TOLD ALL OF THEIR TEAMMATES THEIR DEEPEST SECRETS.

CELLBIT HAD KILLED THE WORKERS. FOOLISH HAD BEEN TRYING TO PROTECT HIM FOR THE ENTIRETY OF HIS INVESTIGATION. SLIME KNOWS THE FLIPPA HE'S HANGING OUT WITH WAS FAKE AND WAS CORRUPTING HIM AND IT FUCKING SCARES HIM. JAIDEN WOULD STAB THEM ALL FOR CUCURUCHO. THAT MUST HAVE BEEN CATHARTIC IN SOME FORM AT LEAST. THEY HAD JUST BEEN PUSHED THAT. FAR. TO SAY ALL OF IT IN THE OPEN.

It's funny!! Like MAN. WHAT A DAY.

Second of all, THE SONG. MY HAIR IS STANDING. THANK GOD FOR THE FULL VERSION. CHILLS. HANA HOPE AND DONGURI AMENO AND HAYATO TANAKA, THANK YOU

I fucking love the lighting. The detail. Oh my GODDD. I fell in love with the glossy effect, in particular. And I don't really understand the technical term, but I feel like the storyboard (and its execution) is incredible. There is no frame wasted and everything serves its purpose to tell a solid story in under 4 minutes.

It is really apparent that the first part is about the legends in their peak days and how it brings them not only everlasting glory known to this day but also sorrow, regrets, failures and suffering.

These particular shots really struck my heart ngl. Arjuna with conflicting feelings (an understatement) after defeating Karna, Jeanne executed in the pyre even when she still believed in God and the good, and Fran being rejected by her creator that she only had herself to hug her.

Then the second half is how even as they hold those pain in their hearts, they move on in a second chance, answering the calls of masters from different eras for a quest for humanity. As the song tells, they still choose to walk forward and trust that there is still something beyond their own life-tale- that's worth fighting for.

I love hands as the bridge of connection between human beings. Besides the aforementioned shots above (and the others that also show the same amount of tragic ends), there is also when the heroic spirits run towards and grasp the hand offered to them. This imagery is something so sincere that it is both so divine yet so human.

And it is tied with how Ritsuka becomes Mash's master, as they offer their hand and she takes it.

Just like how these legends had good and bad in their lives, it is also how it is with mankind. In that aspect, people haven't changed that much, from before and far in the future. Mankind are highly flawed with all the conflicts they inflict yet the good of humanity still exists enough that they are still worthy to live and fight for. And isnt that the general theme of FGO

I noticed that at least for the main representations of the 7+extra classes, none of them is 100% divine being or nonhuman. (Even Fran is made as an artificial human) So the human drama applies very much to their life, whether they gain glory and suffering from it or simply a living record of it.

I noticed because I actually wanted Brynhild to be the Lancer representative lol.

I love the scenes with Fran and King Hassan in their respective original life. So loaded in sadness (Fran) and mystery (King Hassan)

Merlin pulling THAT face when he watches mankind screwing itself from Avalon hits me.

I have never saw the OG Artoria beaming that bright. It's so heartwarming.

Everyone flying towards the light that calls them is MAGNIFICENT. Mash getting up and starts walking in the hallway of Chaldea is also CHILLING. OSCAR WORTHY SCENE NGL.

Especially that Iskandar scene. He flaps his cape while the stairs and the statues rebuild themselves to give way to the king. BADASS.

These two scenes and their transition, just, SO DAMN HEAVY. And the explosions reverted back, symbolizing that there is a possibility that humanity -past and present- can fight to avoid the bad future where everything including the human race is eradicated.

Really deserves that "Beyond the Tale" title. It's even beyond the intended use as a promotional video for a video game. It's pretty much a form of celebration of humanity for me. Probably this will become my new favorite anniversary theme.

Favorite animatronic and why??

(I know I promised that i'll post that character tier list, i didn't forget, i swear! It will hopefully be up around christmas if everything goes right)

Chief, honestly, there's no definite favorite

That title is tossed around between four people, them being Golden Freddy, the Puppet, Circus Baby and Ennard

Goldie was my very first favorite, i was so drawn in by their mysteriousness and unsettling presence throughout the first few games, i just wanted to know more. My fondness for them just grew stronger when the Golden Duo theory entered the fandom space, and UCN solidified it even to another level. Even if it's just Cassidy residing in them, their unwavering resolve to punish William for all eternity, never letting him go, having him experience a fraction of what he put them and the other kids through. While never finding peace themselves, because it will never be enough- hhhgh good. Very good. Also i know some people characterize them as selfish because they only cared about revenge, but it never felt like that to me. (Stares in Golden Eyes theory) They cared... i know they did..

(j-gems and MD-PTV's portrayals of them mean everything to me, i could rant about them too all day)

Oh Puppet, my dearly beloved. Not gonna lie, i was lowkey very disturbed by them when i was younger. Can i just start with their design? It's wonderful, peak character design. Gosh... i adore them so terribly. For everything they represent and how they never abandoned the MCI. God dammit, I love Charlie so much too! They're technically the same- Even after making the wrong decision of bringing all the kids back to life and failing (Stares in Candy Cadet five keys story), she stayed by them and still tried to help them however she could. Ghhhgghg the selflessness and protectiveness in this 6 foot + sock monkey, it's killing me- Okay but i'm also so crazy about the fact that Charlie just straight up doesn't resent and fear William anymore, she just wants him to not intervene with her plans, damn (Well... this is only true if UCN is not 100% Cassidy's making, another can of worms, anyways-)

I need her to come back so bad, Steel Wool, where is she-

Everyone is wrong about Baby, Jesus Christ on a boat. She's like.... one of the most crucial characters in the whole franchise! In some cases, miles better than any of the other antagonists. But MAN, did everyone, including the books did her dirty (I know, Silver Eyes is not directly connected to the games, but sadly most fans treated it as such and i think the aftermath really damaged her image for others, goddamn you SE-) Before i lose it let me mention, i love her voice so much, it's such a perfect balance between comforting and unnerving. Oh your honor, THE LAYERS! The layers nobody seems to care about, it's pissing me off. (Mostly) everyone misunderstood her intentions in Pizzeria Simulator and i haven't felt peace since then, no joke- like you would think AT LEAST ONE of the more popular theorists would just say "hey what if she was just pretending to be on William's side to gain his trust and get closer to him" BUT NO?? Because that doesn't make sense after what she did to Michael THINKING he was William, oh my goddd, I'm so sorry Lizzie, I'm sorry that no one gets it- Pizzaria Sim was a nice session of Bang! (the card game), we had our bandits (being Michael, Molten Freddy and Lefty), we had a sheriff (being William) then we had a renegade. The renegade earns the sheriff's trust by acting like they're the deputy, their objective is to be the last one standing, even if it gets the outlaws killed. But they're ultimately on the bandits' side, because their goal is also to kill the sheriff- IT'S LITERALLY HER, GHHHHH. She's so tragic and so wasted away, i feel bad for her but can't forgive her but at the same time understand why she does the things she does and and and

I am SO NORMAL about Ennard, your honor (lie). I would like to blame (thank) j-gems and MD-PTV for the absolute clownery you guys have to witness in the coming weeks or months, they turned the already existing strong fondness into... hm, mind worms. Like holy smokes, j-gems's Ennard, I love that guy, it's making me look stupid. (He makes me crazy i can't stress this enough, he's so fun but still freaking threatening at the same time, man-) With MD-PTV's version, while i prefer separate personality Ennard over the complete hive mind, I really adore the Funtimes' dynamic in there (and how tragic it is that they just want to find peace and rest...... if only it wasn't also Mrs Afton Ballora-) This pile of wires has no business looking as sick as he does, genuinely. Scott COOKED with this design, and I shall be forever grateful. The whole gaslighting body snatcher concept too, it was so good, they had to pass it over to Fazbear Frights AND the Mimic, it's kind of funny. My poor fella is unfortunately so underutilized, like, I love Molten Freddy, i don't want to replace him at this point, BUT GOD ENNARD SHOULD HAVE STAYED THEMSELVES I WILL FOREVER MOURN WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN (not that i don't appreciate the MCI and Charlie both "becoming" bears to oppose the rabbit thematic detail, i could ALMOST forgive them for that). Like seriously, imagine an alternative universe where they actually gave him a personality other than the small characterizations in Help Wanted, that isn't just Baby dominating the body basically, hell- Kellen could have voiced him too, IMAGINE!

(Also i just see so much potential in the separate personality of his character, always viewed him and Baby as the twisted parallels to Goldie and the Puppet, but i'm gonna save that rant for another post)

(Also also i'm a huge fan of fics where him and Michael live together or just put their differences aside to find Will- The beautiful contrast of the serial killer bozo becoming an actual murder machine while the machine learns to become human, we love to see it)
