currently watching: honestly haven’t had the energy to properly watch anything recently because i get so invested in shows so i’ve just been watching a bit of youtube 😭

currently reading: i just bought The Three Body Problem by Liu Cixin as a way to get away from screen time more

current obsession: sorry for being too on brand but similar to @go-back-to-antarctica all things bart allen as always 😂 been obsessing over writing about his and Owens relationship as brothers in his original timeline in YJ and how everything carries over to bart’s present timeline but it’s still in it’s early stages as a draft so we will see how that goes. I’ve also been trying to write the semi-final part of GINTBD to connect the current plot better to it but again it’ll take a while. So i guess i’ve been obsessed with YJ fics too LOL the usual

Last song: I'm listening to What Else Can I Do? from Encanto sung by Diane Guerrero and Stephanie Beatriz on repeat. I just love Encanto's songs. The part when Mirabel sings to Isabel about her being perfect her whole life - and her voice changes from doleful to joy and happiness for her sister? MMMMHMMMM 👌TEARS ME UP.

Currently watching: Not... anything really. I haven't been reading novels or watching TV shows or movies lately. Gosh, school is so consuming, especially with the extracurriculars I've taken up.

But I remember watching Danny Phantom last. I got DVDs from the library and was watching it in our old laptop which had a DVD player. They dont make laptops like those anymore. And we dont have a DVD player for the TV. And that laptop broke. So idk where else to watch Danny Phantom :(

Currently reading: As i said, not really reading many novels atm. I'm reading fanfic! The last fanfic I read was mine XD More specifically Let Them Be Siblings. I wanted to check out how far along the series I was and then got sucked.

But the other last fanfic i read was... I'm Just a Kid (I Know That It's Not Fair) by StoriesAreMagic cuz they updated <3

The last novel I read? ...I can't recall. It was that long ago- NO WAIT! I picked up some novels from the library for my sisters and I sometimes read my sister's books. There's this one series I especially like. It's called 'Phoebe and her Unicorn', and it is good, I tell you. Very good. The jokes aren't like kid jokes. They speak something deeper.

Current obsession: So many. Idk. Tim Drake? DC?

Ed trying so hard to NOT be into Bart and failing miserably in your latest GINTBD chapter meanwhile Bart is thoroughly unfazed by his prickliness and essentially going "you're cute, i like you >:)" is the most entertaining shit ever. A+ dynamic. RIP Ed

Hi I’m sorry if you have already answered this but I just wanted to know if you are making more chapters for Guilt is never to be doubted, because as much as I love AAIT, this is my favourite fic that you’ve made I’ve read it like 6 times

hi ! no worries, i don’t think i’ve answered this question yet

and yes as u might have realised GINTBD is on hold for a bit 🥲 it’s a passion project that i feel really strongly about so it’s incredible to hear that it’s ur favourite ❤️

the reason it’s on hold is because i’m trying to finish AAIT asap, i was delusional when i first planned it out but i really didn’t plan for fics to not be finished within a year 😭 but i realised that’s impossible for me, it’s been quite difficult for me to properly manage my time ! especially since i had a bad case of personal burn out at the beginning of this year and honestly i’m still feeling the effects of it to today

GINTBD was also supposed to be something i wanted to complete fast, but with all my fics the more i work on them the more i can flesh them out and because i want to be happy with the output that makes the story so much longer than planned and ends up taking a lot of time

then there’s also being in the right mindset for the exact chapter to write about, for example for GINTBD, i struggled with drafting up the next chapter, but then there’s a chapter much later that’s like mid-way to the end of the story that i had such a burst of inspiration that i wrote half of it just like that.

sadly the writing process isn’t linear, so i can’t promise u when exactly i will be posting an update. it’s entirely possible that i’ll be stuck on the next AAIT chapter and then get back to GINTBD, this is how it usually works for me tbh !

TLDR: it’s not dropped and i will be making more chapters ! i just cant guarantee when the next update will be, but i really want to see my fics reach their end :)

all i can say is that controlled substances refers to chemicals that r at risk of being abused and dangerous, this includes both recreational drugs as well as prescription drugs (medication).

I am loving your recent fic! It’s so great and I love seeing all the different perspectives of what happened that summer. I love the crumbs of why Jaime wasn’t there that night and how Bart plays into this. I have a feeling either they met at a group therapy session or something like that. The Runaways are written so well. There group dynamic is so underrated and I love seeing more of Tye and Asami. Can not wait for the next chapter, any ideas when it will be completed?

wow thank u so much <33 also apologies for the late answer, writing block and stupid irl stuff has been hitting me hard and i am so drained generally. I am still stuck on AAIT and I have just generally been really slow. So realistically, I don’t have a specific completion date in mind.

I really appreciate ur kind feedback and hearing about ur general thoughts, its really validating to know that ppl can enjoy the aspects of the story that i also love and put effort in and how this inspires ideas from u on what direction this story could take :)

it’s funny that at first i drafted the plot the other way round, where it was the summer events first and then the aftermath/repercussions. But i found that would be too difficult to keep the inspiration/plot going and to write so I found it way more natural and easier to draft up by starting with the aftermath first and developing it into a mystery type of story.

wanted to drop by and say your new fic is really cool!!! i love the slow build and mystery and misunderstandings, i'm so intrigued. i'm side-eyeing all the little hints in the last couple chapters so hard, especially the stuff in Jaime's section at home and the fact Maurice got hospitalized the same day Jaime vanished for the summer. also it's so funny to read the tags and then read Ed talk about Bart the way he has. like oh honey you have no idea what you're in for with him

i’m SO relieved that the little hints and these ones in particular are sticking out to you, honestly i’ve kinda mentioned in some previous posts that i was kind of nervous for this fic, i think slow build doesn’t necessarily appeal to some ppl and because i find generally im a slow build type of writer in the first place i tried to make this fic relatively “fast paced” in terms of plot progression, so it’s been a balancing act between this and maintaining the element of mystery and building up to things (like a lowkey type of suspense). Those hints carry a lot of weight, it’s so hard for me to try to not spoil things in my replies lol

again i really appreciate your sweet comment, the fact that you feel this way makes me so happy, especially since that was exactly what i was going for :D

and please lmao i’m having a great time writing all the runaways scenes, especially Ed’s wrt Bart. “like oh honey you have no idea what you’re in for with him” i have to say anon, you are so right lol especially within the specific context of this fic and upcoming chapters SDFGHJKL

Man, this chapter was so good. I was hooked the whole time (I mean- I always am, but I was extra hooked this time). As always you write the characters astonishingly well, you’re so talented. And the ending! You’re just gonna leave us hanging like that!! Omg

<333333333 thank u so much for ur kind comments as always, honestly like as much as i love all the characters and potential stories i can’t lie the encouragement makes all the difference so i rlly appreciate it ❤️ i always planned to finish stories within a certain time span but my pace has been much slower than desired, but without the support honestly i think it would’ve been an update every other blue moon or something LOL i keep getting sidetracked with coming up with other plots 💀 so getting comments and hearing ppls thoughts on the stories it helps me focus on them

if it makes you feel any better about drafting up another fic (an Owen and Bart fic sounds SUPER intriguing btw) i personally find it quite fun that you have multiple fics happening at once. makes it so i never know which one you're gonna update next and it's a pleasant surprise every time!

i really want to see an end to my fics because i haven’t managed to finish a series yet and i can get soo side tracked juggling different WIPs so i’ll try to focus on GINTBD and AAIT for now (i even drafted up a couple chapters to another series/semi sequel to AAIT, like why am i like this LOL) but who knows if i’m happy with how i started off the Owen Bart fic maybe i’ll post it, especially because of how much i need some Bart/Owen brother acknowledgement/interaction i guess im really excited about it 😭
