After losing her father right before the start of high school, she’s already struggling under the thumb of her step mother’s “parenting.” Still, she’s trying to see the best in every situation, just like Dad taught her.

One of the worst things about still living under her Stepmom's roof? Everything is Aspen's responsibility. Cooking, cleaning, making sure the house is in working order. It all falls on her shoulders. She's trying not to be ungrateful, but sometimes it wears on her.
