Early on, Daniel lovetaps Kevin, and both spin out which probably would have been recoverable but then they collide into each other. Double dnf.

Lewis and Max collide and it's 2021 flashbacks. Max gets the penalty (suprising???), 5 sec

Briefly, it's a sewis podium plus george, and we get our hopes up but seb pits and he falls, eventually finishing out of the points

Alpine is like, "Esteban do not fight Alonso," bc alonso has newer tires, but Esteban is like, "I'm trying to race here and pass other drivers stop telling me what to do!!! Vettel is right there!!!" As he should though.

Yellow flag and George has been in p1 for a while with Lewis behind. He asks if they will be holding position and is told that they will be allowed to race. Boy is SWEATING but ultimately wins.

Charles has been up and down bc he climbs like 10 places but pits like 3 times and each pit causes him to fall so far back down again. Eventually, it's him and Carlos, p4 and p3 respectively. As the race is finishing he's like, "Please let me pass. Pleeeeaaase. Think of the championship. Think of the children!" He's denied, and after the whole bunch of clownery he's been subjected to on top of that, he enters his Reputation Era and is so snippy on the radio lmao delicious.

AND the piece de resistance. Max is in front of Checo. Max is given team orders to let Checo by. Max goes OFF about how he's told them he won't do that! And stop asking! Because he will never follow team orders to let Checo pass! And THEN! Checo is like, "He's a two time winner because of me! ME!!! And he won't even return the favor when he's already the WDC???" Cue RBR scrambling to do damage control. (Aside but even the Max fans I know irl are like uhhhh that was pretty class-less. Wth.)
