North American Harvard IV ‘1747’ (G-BGPB) by Alan Wilson Via Flickr: c/n CCF4-538. Built as a T-6J by Canadian Car & Foundary in 1953, with the US military serial 53-4619. Served with the Luftwaffe as ‘AA+050’ and ‘BF+050’ before moving to the Portuguese Air Force as ‘1747. Resident in the UK since 1979, she became well known at Airshows flying in false RCAF markings as ‘20385’ before a landing accident in 1989. Rebuilt and painted in genuine Portuguese colours, she is now operated by ARCo/Historic Flying. Duxford Airfield, Cambridgeshire, UK 30th May 2021

Served with the Luftwaffe as ‘AA+050’ and ‘BF+050’ before moving to the Portuguese Air Force as ‘1747.
