A long time coming, a short time gone ⏳🌫⌛ Welcome one, welcome all to #BREACHINGSANCTUM 🤍⚡🤍 #REPOST @designtrust DESIGN TRUST GRANT SPOTLIGHT: Announcing exhibition opening soon #DesignTrustFeatureGrant “Breaching Sanctum” coming Thursday, 19 May 2022 @taikwun.hk F Hall Studio on view until 31 May 2022. @breaching_sanctum is an exhibition of existing and newly commissioned art and design works alongside related research and reference materials, public programmes, and a publication in the form of a “reader”. The project delves into the work of a generation of Chinese female artists, designers, and architects born in the 1980s—on the cusp of the 1990s—and the influence of that era, alongside current developments, innovations, and pressures connected to urbanism, sustainability, and the built environment, on their work. The project also serves as a means of breaking down barriers that have often been in the path of female practitioners’ research and achievements. Curated by #DesignTrustFeatureGrant recipient Ingrid Pui Yee Chu, the exhibition presents works from Leelee Chan, Tap Chan, Joyce Wang Studio, Ko Sin Tung, and Zhang Ruyi.
