A thin crescent moon 🌙 is seen at night these days. It takes about a week until “Jugoya” or “Otsukimi” which mean full-moon festival at September/October in Japan.

When Obsidian learned that Selenite had never set eyes upon the moon, they delved into their memory banks to recall images of this celestial body. Once the opportunity arose, the machine took their beloved companion into the wilderness beyond their pristine existence ⸺ the only existence Selenite had ever known. They rode on and on, until the lightning receded into starlight. There, in the darkest reaches of the sky, a miracle waited.

Wishing you a very good and abundant Mid-Autumn Moon Festival, my friends. For many cultures around the world, this is the time we observe the beautiful full moon and give thanks for a bountiful harvest.

For me, the year's bounty can be found in the friends who've embraced me into their lives ⸺ and the new faces I've gotten to know in 2024. They have helped me in my forever-journey for better mental health, whether they know this or not.

Learned today while exchanging pictures of the full moon to wish happy mid-autumn festival; a classmate noticed that the moon seen from China is upside down compared to how we see it from Brazil.

Full Moon Celebration!!!

Em hotep y'all,

I apologize for the lack of updates and stuff. Been busy with school and depression's beating me with a stick. But today I set aside the evening to celebrate the full moon and basically just throw a party for the Netjeru that I worship

My little plush babies I offered to Them! I'd love to get some for Taweret and maybe even Horus.

Offered some water to them and I also baked cookies for them! Forgot to take a picture because I totally didn't eat them all >:)

I can't light incense or real candles so these babies had to do, feat Nephthys!!

I put on music for them using my record player and I was able to meditate with Them, talk to Them, and even dance with Them for a little while. It felt very liberating yet calm to simply just BE and exist in the same space as them.

Afterwards, I gave myself three readings, an oracle one, a love reading, and a one card pull from my oracle deck. I'll be interpreting my oracle reading but I drew Selket again (I had drawn Her card for my new moon reading). My love reading hurt but gave me good clarification that while my heart was heavy and empty that I needed to start projects and cultivate positivity even if it's hard. Then for my one card, I pulled Ra for enlightenment!! Under his influence and guidance I will be able to take action in order to heal and recover while actually take the time and energy to live in the sun rather than in the rays of the moon.

This was a much needed experience so I might make this a regular thing. While there was an eclipse tonight, I didn't feel safe leaving my apartment to go check it out. Anyway, tonight was fun and I'm gonna try and get back to work on Children Of Kemet in spite of my new job and college X_X
