MASTER POST
Doctor Who Resource List. This post will serve as a resource list for as much Doctor Who stuff as I can find! Please send me links to more EU stuff if you have them and are fine with them being shared. Please also note that I don't own anything here, they're just links that have been publically shared/easily found online that I've compiled into a directory for y'all
What this masterpost is/Doctor Who different series etc explained below cut. Note: you have to click on the original post (so, not a reblogged version) of whichever masterpost you're looking at, or else the links won't work!
----
The 2005 (revival/NuWho) show:
The 1963-89 show (Classic Who):
The 1996 Movie:
Scream of the Shalka:
Scream of the Shalka books/texts:
Comics:
Books:
Short stories:
Audios:
Spin-Offs:
Apparently you can only have like ten links per post so I'll need a Master Post Part Two. I apologise for the inconvenience, but will reblog this with Master Post Part Two, which will then go in my pinned post.
If you don’t know, Classic Who (1963-89) had many serials in each episode, with a few episodes per serial. For example, the first episode and first serial, “An Unearthly Child” had four parts (I have linked the first part on dailymotion in the classic who post). After the show was cancelled, there was a movie (1996), and then in 2003 there was an animated series (Scream of the Shalka), which was supposed to be the ‘new Doctor Who’, but then the live action reboot was announced and continued from 2005 until the present.
This made the Shalka series second-level canon (only kind of ‘true’ within the universe of Doctor Who. The fandom considers it an alternate universe basically). There are also many spin-off series, some of which I will link here, as well as official comics, novelisations, books, games, and the increasingly popular audio series with Big Finish (also linked here).
For the links that don’t have the full series in one place, I have linked the first episode, and then you can find the next episodes from there. If you have access to anything else Doctor Who related (like comics not here, for example) then send a link in my DM/as an ask, and I’ll add it in!
Anything that isn’t Classic Who (1963-89), the movie, or NuWho (2005-present) is considered “Extended Universe’ content. I will continue adding to this post and reuploading as I discover more content. If you have questions about spinoffs and related stuff like Iris Whildthyme or Faction Paradox, you can ask me, but you’ll probably fare better by searching it up online.

What makes Gallifrey One so special? What makes it the hot ticket for Whovians and DWeeks? We are going to give you a general overview about what Gallifrey One is, what you can expect there and tips on how to get your hands on these hard to get tickets!
Gallifrey One is the world’s largest and longest-running annual Doctor Who fan convention. It is a fully non-profit event founded in 1989 by active fans in local Los Angeles science fiction fandom. Gallifrey One boasts some of the best Doctor Who celebrity guests while still maintaining its small con feel. This convention is completely fan run. It features one of kind panels, guest from all walks of science fiction and the non fiction science community, not just the Doctor Who universe. Taking place every February over Presidents’ Day Weekend at the Marriott Los Angeles Airport Hotel, this con is an experience not to be missed.
2018 Highlights:
Gally (as it is often called) is one of those cons that have a jammed packed schedule. Programming goes from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm. And even after there are after parties, screenings, dances, masquerades, karaoke events and so much more. There is probably way more that went on at the 2018 event than I could possibly list. I recommend checking out the 2018 Gallifrey One Wrap Up on the convention website. But for now, here are some attendee photos of some of the guest highlights from the con!
The Great Steven Moffat. Showrunner for #DoctorWho, #Sherlock and soon #Dracula. Still highly passionate about his work and at times combative. Struggling mightily against those who might accuse him of writing the same female characters over and over again and promoting a false image of sexism against the first Doctor. An extremely entertaining panel. #whovian #scifi #timelord #tardis #gallifreyone #thedoctor #gally1

Beware when #DavidBradley shows up to your event especially if it’s a wedding. Here at #gallifreyone talking about his experience portraying the first #DoctorWho. No thoughts on #WalderFrey and #GameOfThrones. Spoke about his early days acting and meeting the family of #WillaimHartnell before he portrayed him.   I had the absolute pleasure to shoot with @BigFinishprod writers Matt Fitton and John Dorney while running around #GallifreyOne last weekend. Matt and John were the highlight on the panels they were featured and as you can see above, they brought their unique brand of mirth to these portraits! Be sure to check out their work by supporting #BigFinishProductions and a HUGE THANK YOU to both John and Matt for taking the time to work with me. • • • #mattfitton #johndorney #portraitphotographer #writersofinstagram #bigfinish #portraitphotographer #gally1 #doctorwho

Outside the Con:
The convention is held at the Marriott Los Angeles Airport Hotel. It is just steps from LAX international airport. There are plenty of hotels in the area, as well as a variety of places to eat within walking distance.
  Child Friendly:
This is probably the most child friendly convention I have come across. There is a ton of children’s programming available as well as babysitting available.  Children programming does fill up quickly, so I suggest keeping signing up as soon as the programming is announced. There is a courtyard just outside of the convention floor that gives children some room to run around and wind down a bit. There are plenty of food options available at the convention as well as in the nearby neighborhoods. I was able to find food options for even the pickiest of eaters.
Pros of this Con:
There is so much great programming that there really is something for everyone. There are guest from the audio series, from the comic book creators, there are even guests from other fandoms. If you are interested in cosplay, there are panels on cosplay as well. There are writing workshops, discussion groups, ribbon trading, meet ups of all types. There is a bar and lounge area on the main floor of the hotel that is lovingly referred to as “Lobby Con”.  At this 2018 Convention Steven Moffat and Sylvester McCoy were both spotted in the lobby with fans, interacting and hanging out with fans. The con takes place in the same hotel that many of the guest stay in, so seeing the guest walk around is very common. They are not guarded by security like they are at larger conventions. This gives the convention a more intimate feeling and allows for experiences that would not normally happen at other conventions. One of the benefits of a convention that is specifically geared towards Doctor Who fans is that everyone at the convention is a Doctor Who fan. You are in a safe place to express your total love for Doctor Who. It creates a very welcoming and open environment. You are all there to celebrate the thing that you all have in common. The thing that you all love.

Cons of this Con:
The Vendor/Dealer’s room at Gallifrey One is pretty small compared to most Southern California conventions. It boast only a few rows of vendors. It seems fine for a convention that holds less than 4,000 attendees and despite being small you can still find some truly unique merchandise that you wont find anywhere else, but it would be nice to see an artist alley with a nice variety of Doctor Who art for sale. The con takes place during a holiday weekend and it takes place at the same time as a gaming con in a neighboring hotel. This can make it difficult and pricey to find both room accommodations and parking. If you plan to stay at the hotel from Thursday until Sunday night, be prepared to spend upwards of $800 for the 4 days, 3 night stay.
A fullsize volunteer owned TARDIS on display at the end of the Dealers Room.
Rubber Toe Replica Booth at Gallifrey One 2018
Cosplay:
The Cosplay is pretty top notch at Gallifrey One. The fun thing about cosplay at this convention as opposed to other pop culture conventions, is that because it all centers around one fandom, you find some of the most clever, creative and even obscure cosplays. At any given time you can fins cosplayers portraying characters from all walks of the Doctor Who universe. You can find cosplays from Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures, Class and even the Big Finish Audio Series (yes, they even cosplay from audio cover art).
Con Costs:
$110.00 Adult Full Weekend $50.00 Teen Full Weekend (Ages 12-16) $20.00 Child Full Weekend (Ages 3-11) Note that the above prices do not include a small EventBrite processing fee, which will be added to each order ($6.22 per adult ticket, less for the others).
Gallifrey One only sells weekend badges. Single day passes are no available.
Parking for locals:
Parking can be reserved in advance  (AND YOU SHOULD). Parking ranges anywhere from $15 a day to $35 a day. General airport parking lots are available within walking distance of the convention. Arriving early is highly recommened.
Hotel Accommodations:
Hotel rooms at the Marriott are in high demand and are filled up almost immediately after reservations open. There are many hotels within walking distance near by.  *See YouTube Video Below*
Pro-tip:
We recommend turning on post notifications for the Gallifrey One Twitter and Facebook accounts so that you stay up to date on hotel announcements, ticket sales, guest announcements and programming information. If you are trying to get tickets or hotel room accommodations on the day they go live, don’t give up on the first sold out screen. try again for the first 20 minutes. Many times the systems just need to refresh and catch up, and you may be able to score the tickets/room that you need.
Overall Impression: It can probably best be explained in this quote from veteran Con-goer and Temple of Geek photographer, Nathaniel Peinado, “Gally isn’t just a convention experience. It’s a family. A yearly reunion, if you will. A chance to see your closest friends that come from distant places, and an opportunity to make new ones. It’s a place where everyone and everything is celebrated and it doesn’t matter if you’re there in an old TARDIS t-shirt or a screen accurate costume. The amount of joy and love you receive from this convention will leave you wishing the next one wasn’t another year away. It’s definitely an experience that makes you believe things really are bigger on the inside.”
My babies ❤

THE LAST:
1. Drink: water.
2. Phone call: work related.
3. Text message: work related.
4. Song you listened to: “Stand By Me” - Ki Theory (love this song, this version was on FTWD, but I have heard it by several artists, mostly the John Lennon version).
5. Time you cried: IDK.
6. Dated someone twice: Nope.
7. Kissed someone and regretted it: Nope.
8. Been cheated on: I’d have to actually be in a relationship haha.
9. Lost someone special: I guess.
10. Been depressed: Probably.
11. Gotten drunk and thrown up: Nope.
LIST 3 FAVOURITE COLOURS:
12.-14. black, blue, red.
IN THE LAST YEAR, HAVE YOU:
15. Made new friends: if the internet counts haha. made acquaintances irl I guess, but not friends.
16. Fallen out of love: nope.
17. Laughed until you cried: probably. not for a bit anyways.
18. Found out someone was talking about you: that happens. people always talk about you behind your back whether negative or positive. best to ignore it, unless it is friends saying lies and bs. then they are not friends and you should cast them out. Luckily that last part isn’t relevant to me.
19. Met someone who changed you: define changed me. you always can learn something from people, and change as a result. even if it is just a student teacher relationship or boss and worker relation shop etc. Depends on what you mean. Like hella changed you heart and soul, then no. But small changes, then yes I guess. But generally no people I have met have made me become a whole different person.
20. Found out who your friends are: yep. only one left irl I reckon, and maybe a former friend from high school, we talk sometimes and hopefully can reconnect soon. Oh wait, maybe two others, but haven’t talked in ages, so idk. But apart from those four, I’ve just given up with the others as it is just one way, and they obviously don’t give that much of a shit about me to bother to talk to me.
21. Kissed someone on your Facebook list: haha nope.
GENERAL:
22. How many of your Facebook friends do you know in real life: all of them. well except one, as it’s someone i met on tumblr, but technically haven’t met in real life. Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! (maybe one day)
23. Do you have any pets: yes. my cat. she stunk up the house an hour ago. but i still love her. haha.
24. Do you want to change your name: nope.
25. What did you do for your last birthday: I don’t remember. I think I was doing this course thing, and then I tried taking the bus home, but stuff happened, was kind of cheesed off. I did get myself i doughnut I think. Was good. I can’t remember what I did when I got home, but my mood changed, and I was happy again. So whatever I did in the afternoon/evening must have been good. Maybe watched some tv IDK.
26. What time did you wake up: haha, not as early as yesterday or tomorrow as I got to sleep in a bit as I had to go to a meeting about a possible job/traineeship thing (which is good, so I can get out of volunteer stuff and finally have my first paid job thing). My Fitbit says 6:42am, but that wouldn’t be correct, that isn’t when I woke up, but when I checked my phone before I got up. Maybe 6:20amish. But around 6:40 yeah.
27. What were you doing at midnight last night: According to my fitbit I fell asleep at 23:59pm so I might have been asleep if the fitbit is correct. So either sleeping or trying to sleep, and just being still so it records as sleeping haha.
28. Name something you can’t wait for: a job, or the xmas special for dr who, but I also don’t want the xmas special as I am not ready for Capaldi to go. But it sounds good. I love multi doctor stories. First Doctor and Twelfth Doctor. Can’t wait, but also DON;T GO!!! haha
29. When was the last time you saw your mom: IDK. 40 minutes ago maybe. She’s gone to bed.
31. What are you listening to right now: nothing rn.
32. Have you ever talked to a person named Tom: Yes. Used to have a couple of “friends” named Tom.
33. Something that is getting on your nerves: idk. maybe my brother. he’s already used over half our internet again. All he does is stay home and play video games and try to use up our internet. he slowed it down last month. douche.
34. Most visited website: tumblr or google haha.
35.-37.
38. Hair colour: brown.
39. Long or short hair: short.
40. Do you have a crush on someone: no. I mean I get attracted to people, but like, not around them enough to develop crushes.
41. What do you like about yourself: IDK. My amazing taste in music haha. That is so relevant to me though. Others probs hate some of the stuff I like.
42. Piercings: None.
43. Blood type: I have no idea tbh.
44. Nickname: Don’t really have one, people call me Andy. Or some my surname or a variation of it.
45. Relationship status: single af. really should probs try getting into the dating scene before I get too old. will do someday.
46. Zodiac: Gemini.
47. Pronouns: he/him.
48. Favourite TV show: Doctor Who. But I have loads. If it is whonviverse related, then it is defs a fav though. Torchwood would be my next choice obviously. I love it. I do like the first 2 series more than COE AND Miracle Day. But COE was still fantastic af.
49. Tattoos: none.
50. Right or left handed: right handed, I use my left hand sometimes and people get confused. But I am right handed. My handwriting sucks, but sucks more in my left as I never learnt to use that hand for writing like I did my right.
51. Surgery: None.
52. Piercing: None.
53. Sport: Just PE stuff. And sports day stuff and all that. I used to be good at high jump. Apparently my teacher had never seen someone just run over the bar. Just scissor kick or back flip (whatever those techniques are called). One of my teachers jokingly asked if I had springs in my feet once. I remember the mat in primary school for the high jump was too small for me and I landed on my but on the other side on the grass haha. Memories.
55. Vacation: Europe. I want to go on holiday so bad. Even if it is around Australia. But money...
MORE GENERAL:
57. Eating: Not eating aything atm. But chips. They are my weakness.
58. Drinking: water. it’s healthy.
59. I’m about to: watch some show before I go to bed early....
61. Waiting for: the world to change. Sorry music reference.
62. Want: stay up late like I used to and watch my shows. But need to get up early....
63. Get married: If I find my soul mate haha. IDK. Depends. They might really be against marriage. So yeah. Then won’t. And if my partner is not female, but male, then technically atm can’t marry in Australia (yet).
64. Career: Wherever I end up IDK.
WHICH IS BETTER:
65. Hugs or kisses: hugs. someone hug me.
66. Lips or eyes: eyes.
67. Shorter or taller: either or. idk.

Hi there! It's been quite a while, and I think I should explain some things. (long post that not everyone will read, so I’m putting a cut)
No worries, I'm not giving up on writing. I don't think I ever will.
But I have been absent from this blog quite a lot lately, and I'd like to say why. First off, I wasn't sure how to put the ongoing fics, so I did update fics on Ao3/FF without sharing them on Tumblr. Sorry! But on the other hand, I've uploaded fics here but was too lazy to post them on FF/Ao3. Sorry for that too, I should put the same fics everywhere. But it's long to edit, create a new story, etc. (I'll come back to that)
So, why am I not so much on this blog? The easy part to get is that life got in the way, with exams and paperwork and stress... I didn't really feel like going on Tumblr much. Then (because the exams finished like 3 weeks ago) time flies quicker when I'm on holidays, and I've been playing quite a lot of video games, because there are strong chances that I won't be able to play new year so I'm enjoying while I can. Which is another thing (the paperwork thing!): if everything goes as planned, I'm not spending my next year in France, but studying abroad. So, yeah, that's taking quite some time, especially to look for a place to live in.
The complicated part (not that complicated, but it's not linked to a lack of time), is that I'm losing my motivation for most of my fandoms, especially Torchwood. Now, don't get me wrong, I love the Torchwood fandom, and I still love Torchwood, but writing for it has been hard lately. It's a small, half-dead fandom. And while it can be great, it also means a lot less readers, and even fewer reviewers. And the other main fandom I'm writing for, One Piece, actually has a lot more readers, but a lot less reviewers (proportionally.) Which is really hard for a fanfic writer. Sometimes, I'm not sure the time I spend on some fics is worth it, and if I start thinking this, it's that something is wrong. As I said earlier, writing takes time, editing takes time, posting takes time (and websites like FF.net are not helping to gain time) and I know people think their comments won't matter because it's just a few words, but sometimes it's what's missing to a fanfic writer. A few words.
I'm not here to beg for more comments, because you do the hell you want (and sometimes I myself don't comment by sheer laziness), but don't forget it's nice to leave a word to a fanfic writer (who don't get paid for what they do, they just freely share what they wrote) and while I'm usually satisfied by only getting kudos/likes/favourites (again, because as a reader I completely understand), sometimes it can just discourage me to see just one reaction, or none at all. It doesn't have to be long, it doesn't have to be the best comment ever, anything is good.
I guess what I'm trying to say (because I'm randomly rambling here) is that I may look like I gave up on this blog, but I haven't.
Another important and shorter point is that my lack of time (which is entirely due to me and the amount of hours I spend playing my PS4) added to my lack of motivation and/or reduced interest in some of my fandoms also means that I read a lot less than I used to do. To be honest, my mind is stuck on a particular author these days, and I can't seem to be able to read anything else (for those wondering, it's a French writer called Pierre Bottero, and I've been having huge feels and long moments of reflection on his work) which doesn't help me find motivation to write.
Oh and, just for the Torchwood fandom: I wrote quite a lot for this fandom, and the problem isn't in running out of ideas, but getting frustrated with Jack and Ianto. They offer good fics, but they're also a real problem when I want to write more domestic, fluffy, love fics. And lately, I want to write about happy, healthy couples that communicate well and aren't afraid of saying that they love each other. Blame Friends for that, because that's what I've been up to for the past few weeks: only writing about Chandler and Monica. And it’s a good change from Janto.
