Young barking tree froggle! 🥹 He'll grow into those large feets and become one of our largest native tree frogs, but for now he's fairly small. I've only seen a handful in as many years of looking for them, so this perky lump made me very happy. Also they sound hilarious (look them up on iNaturalist, filter for "has sounds", and enjoy) . The moniker is accurate.

Going to see Nosferatu today captain, will attempt to leave my Froggles (freak goggles) in the car and view Unbiasedly, but if it is truly as you say, I fear my Frots (freak thots) shall be unavoidable

okay other than knowing the count hangs dong i actually went into the movie blind with no idea how freak it really was. ur frots will be frotting full force by the end of the opening sequence

Hello frog logs this is day 15 of frog posting I'm so tired but the frogs must come first before my sleep tonight anyway today's frog is.....

The turtle frog! (Myobatrachus gouldii)

Frog fact number 15# the turtle frog is about 5-7 cms in length and and weigh .2 ounces (take this with some salt as information on these little guys are difficult to find)

they are native to Australia and do not have a tadpole stage they lay eggs and make froggles they are the moles of frog species

So you have written so many amazing works (and given me done serious brainrot lol :) and I was wondering what helps you with to write and create so much. Also it's seriously amazing that you put out a 100k+ word fic in less than a year!

Also I was wondering when you got started with writing?

thank you!! i've written on and off since I was a kid (starting with the adventures of the crime fighting frog detective, Cherry Froggle, in elementary school) but I've definitely taken a looot of breaks. i wrote and published on ff.net for a bit but stopped due to some pretty nasty and hurtful comments (when i was a particularly sensitive teen), so this past year has really been the first time in a decade or so that i've done anything in earnest. as far as how much i put out, im afraid that i dont have too much advice, unfortunately-- i have a job that tends to be pretty quiet and hands-off so i spend a lot of my time daydreamining scenarios at my work desk!

lol I have to wonder if it's really so much about balance as it is about their tendency to stick their little legs out sideways and act like planks! Planks are also not known for their aerodynamic balance, and it has nothing to do with size.

Maybe this is not how they act in the wild (note they are in a lab), maybe this is in fact predator avoidance - leap and play dead! (Maybe they're expecting to land in water...)

I would point out also that these froglets are still larger than fleas (by quite a large margin) and fleas don't seem to have trouble jumping.

But I am sorry for genuine scientific curiosity, please, do go back to laughing at the clumsy lil froggles :D

So there are several species of frogs that have evolved to be so small that their vestibular balance system doesn't work well and I'm sorry but it's the funniest thing to watch them try to jump.

oh im playing club penguin- yes still not bored because they KEEP adding new things to the game, which is crazy???? like no way this fan server of an old online game is so active right now ?? it still surprises me. anyway what i was gonna say is they added a froggle (frog puffle) and i want it sooooo bad like so bad but it turned out to be buggy for me so i couldn't get it... i wrote to staff and they replied saur fast telling me they will personally give me one just tell them the name of the beloved froggle. this game is insane THESE PEOPLE DONT EVEN GET PAID???? this is goty of all years im so serious
